I bought two large bottles for cold beverages. When i bought they asked if I needed receipt and I said “NO” since i wouldn’t need it. However, 4 days later I found the green cover peeling off at the bottom and it was spreading everywhere i keep, which is annoying. Its hard to clean those particles as well. I went to this store to see if i can return this or get a refund for which I was refused. Its two large bottles, just a waste now. The barista wasn’t helpful. Extremely disappointed even though this is a manufacturing defect! Pure unprofessional staff!

It's not worth it , even though the colour is right it tastes like cold milk without matcha . And it wasn't even filled properly. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to not waste money :(.

The matcha latte I always get here is very light compared to other places, it has a lot of milk in it, the matcha hasn't dissolved yet, you can still see the powder. The extra creamy vanilla isn't creamy; it's just another liquid mixed in with the matcha and milk. Very disapointed

I hardly ever write reviews, and the fact that I had to create a whole Yelp account just to post this speaks to how upset I am. I'm a devoted Starbucks fan - I practically breathe Starbucks. I understand that this Starbucks is inside a university and can get busy, but that doesn't excuse the poor service. The staff here should be hired based on their attitudes and people skills, not just their resumes. I visited around 1 pm, and it wasn't even that busy. I placed my order through the mobile app, and it took over 25 minutes to get my order. To top it off, both of my drinks were only half filled. I ordered a venti, and it was only half full. Where did the other half go? It's infuriating to spend our hard-earned money on these not-so-cheap drinks and receive half-filled cups. This experience left me extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. I had high hopes for this Starbucks located inside my university, but I won't be returning. I'd rather drive to an external Starbucks and bring it here. This Starbucks seriously needs to up its game. If I could give this place negative five stars, I would.

I always get greeted with smiles and feel welcomed whenever I go to this establishment. Before I worked at the University I was a Starbucks worker so I do understand the amount of pressure they go through on a daily basis. People are too hard on them because they don't know what it's like they think it's just coffee and nothing more. But they're the same people always buying "expensive" coffee instead of taking 5 minutes to brew their own at home. I think this Starbucks does well and they respect people who deserve it. Customer service is a hard gig but they make it work :)

One of the three Starbucks located on the UH campus. This one is located at the Student Center South by the game room downstairs. There are a few tables around to sit at. Straws and condiments are on the left side. Some employees who are obviously new tend to be working the cash register right off the bat. They don't really know what they're doing at times or work very slow. They are also not familiar with the menu. The lines are usually long but goes relatively fast enough. To make the line move faster, they would ask for your order before you get to the register. I have gotten my name spelled in all kinds of way. Since it's one of the busier Starbucks on campus, you can see a lot of employees in the back making drinks. Looks pretty hectic. Majority of times, my drinks came out good. You definitely need to block out some time because the total wait time would probably make you late to class.

The staff here are very nice, but mess up orderes fairly frequently. They also run out of supplies a lot, and lines are pretty long. If you don't want to wait too long, I suggest ordering on the app ahead of time.

Terrible service. It's on a college campus so of course there is a line but that's expected. The staff seemed flustered and were yelling at customers which is unacceptable. My drink was obviously thrown together and was incorrect. I would have ask for it to be re made but could not wait another half hour.

i want you to know that I appreciate good service and tip handsomely for it. UH Houston Calhoun Starbucks in the basement DOES NOT PROVIDE that! One time I made the mistake of complaining about the drink I got to a manager. Now everytime I go back I get a messed up drink. One employee in particular, a short black haired dude witha howdydudey haircut and a pizza face made an effort to give me an extra solicitious greeting the fourth time I went back and he handed me what was supposed to be a hot venti chai latte with oatmilk. I noted he greeted no one else when he was passing out drinks. Lo and behold the drink he gave me was a matcha and it tasted like he put pepper in it. When I went back to correct my drink he made the girl who was preparing my drink wait 30 minutes for the oatmilk, even though anyone could have walked to the cooler to get it. Only God knows what he put in the oatmilk, (and when i got it they had to correct it a third time as i ordered a venti not a grande) it tasted very very weird. It was NOT the typical chai latte I threw it out and did not go back to correct it a fourth time. . Nobody that is vindictive should work in the food industry neither beverages. A vindictive move on someones food is nothing less than criminal assault.

Nice convenient location to get your coffee fix. The staff here is usually low or extra staffed, it really depends on the day. I'd say the best day to go is on Sunday's, there's usually no one there. On a weekday, this Starbucks has some of the longest lines I've dealt with for a cup of coffee, which is the reason I deducted a star. Despite the lengthy lines, my coffee is made quickly and well done.

Long line, long waits, doesn't do app reloads or honor any of the regular promotions. Can not redeem points/ stars at this location either. They say there's just too much going on that they're not gonna do anything extra. I see lots of customers at other locations too but they are still able too function.

disgusting. store smelled of rotten milk when I walk in and counters were sticky. visible syrup and chocolate dripping on walls and sneeze guards. tall young man with dreads on his phone while making my drink and a phone has the most germs. didn't feel sanitary so just left the drink there. employees were rude to customers and nothing like Starbucks should be.

Decent Starbucks, line can get long when students are in session and there is a very slow POS system they seem to be using. It seems to take a lot longer to pay here than other Starbucks. However, the staff is very friendly and I havent had a bad coffee here.

Terrible service!!! Can't seem to make a simple ice coffee right. It was so bitter and ended up being a waste of money. If you love yourself and your sanity you'll just drink water at home rather than wasting your money at this place

Terrible service! Won't do refills because "machine is broken" and charge extra (more than other Starbucks) for refills anyways! Waited in line for 30mins just to find out I can't get what is at every single Starbucks across the US!
