Historic Golden Steer Steakhouse Expands for First Time in Nearly 50 Years | Eater Vegas

"At the Starbucks store on Casino Center and Clark Avenue, workers won union representation on Monday, October 23, making it the fourth Las Vegas store to unionize; employees there are joining a nationwide movement of workers in more than 100 locations across over 19 states organizing unions for better working conditions, fair wages, and consistent schedules, and three other Las Vegas Starbucks locations had already unionized." - Janna Karel

Something about the Arts District Las Vegas just gives “a taste of LA” vibes! This Starbucks location included! The customer service is A1: very respectful and kind staff. The interior and exterior are clean. The drinks are well made… did I mention the friendly staff? This is a staple that most Las Vegas Starbucks locations are missing! Therefore, I’ll go out of my way to detour to this particular cafe. The only downfall is that there are no electrical outlets. If you regularly study at Starbucks, arrive with a fully charged laptop. P.S Definitely try the new cherry chai… it’s delicious!

Everyone at this location are absolutely top-tier. They're very patient with everyone despite your level of Starbucks lingo skills. From beginner to aficionado, you're good and will be well taken care of here.

Efficient mobile order service. Staff are friendly. The location is a double edged sword: on the one hand, it’s fairly easy to access. On the other hand, you’re smack downtown, and you’re going to find a fair amount of unhoused folks- maybe not directly in the establishment, but around the area. This may make some folks feel unsafe (women, for instance). So best to get in and out. However, there are courts and other government buildings around, so a good security presence. During two visits, I have found it to be fine. A good amount of seating, inside and out.

Beautiful location. The staff was friendly and polite and my drink and food was ready quickly. Unfortunately every single outlet in the entire Starbucks was called off which is very disappointing. It’s walking distance from my condo so I brought my laptop and was hoping to work for an hour or so. Not I will have to leave and find somewhere else I can plug in. If I’d noticed before paying I would have found a different coffee shop. How lame. There’s a security officer right by the door doing nothing but look at his phone, I’m 100% sure he can make sure it’s only customers using the power outlets. How ridiculous to cap off every outlet in a coffee shop known for remote workers!

Horrible, horrible customer service from supervisor Vicky. I don’t think that I have ever experienced worst customer service and treatment in my life and I am a restaurant critic. She doesn’t care about customers at all . I still cannot believe that Starbucks gave her a supervisor position. My wife and I go to all the Starbucks around town and this one has the worst customer service ever. They have mistakenly put the wrong milk in our lattes . We are lactose intolerant and they made our drinks with regular milk. We have immediately called the store to tell them what has happened. They have agreed that they will fix their mistake and they will remake our drinks with oat milk ,next time ,with no problem. When we came back, they did not want to remake our lattes. The store manager wasn’t in , but the supervisor Vicky was so argumentative and she didn’t want to help us at all and she was so careless. I had to call customer service and file a complaint and afterwards the customer service finally fixed the issue. We will definitely not go back to this location ever again and I will tell everyone how horrible they are treating their customers.

This is a nice place in a great location. I came here a few times during my visit to Vegas. However, as far as making it a comfortable place to hang out as company leadership claims they want to do, I feel that is very lacking. Several times, there were people inside that took up more than one table for all of their belongings, and there were clearly unstable people who yelled at customers as they walked by, which the staff chose to ignore, or laugh at. This location would benefit from a security presence that deals with violent outbursts rather than tolerates them. I stayed long enough to charge my laptop and moved on to one of the other area coffee shops where this kind of thing wasn’t happening.

The manager didn't bother to have one of the workers fill my noodle cup with hot water. All because a "rule" that says they can't give it out. Sounds petty but it's about service to the customer. Manager seemed nice at first but was rude overall.

I’m a regular customer (came here at least 30 times so far) and have always appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff here. But today was a disappointing experience. There was a long wait, and I urgently needed to use the restroom. I explained to one of the staff members that I would make a purchase after, as I couldn’t wait in line first. Still, he refused to give me the restroom code unless I bought something. I’ve visited Starbucks locations all over the country, and this is the first time I’ve been denied restroom access in such a situation. It left me feeling like this store cares more about transactions than its regular customers. Whether this comes down to poor management or misplaced priorities, the result is the same—I left and will not return. Disappointing to see loyalty overlooked over a simple request.
