Don’t understand bad reviews here. Mobile order works well. Normal wait time. Drinks are good. Also relatively clean. Literally nothing to complain for my experience! Fully recommended

Waited in line for twenty minutes to find that they're not serving breakfast sandwiches today. Employee said she didn't have time to put out a sign. The manager should take care of this - save me the hassle.

I think this is the right Starbucks, but if not please share this with the correct manager. I landed in Memphis early afternoon, ready for a coffee after my morning flight. I was greeted with the friendlier faces, with great suggestions, and some beautiful banter. They said they’d give my coffee some extra soul and they delivered, first few minute in Memphis is a win in my book!

Understaffed, and staff they do have is not helpful. Drinks are bad quality, food availability is spotty and inaccurate on the app. Wait times are well over 45 minutes, even when ordering on the app. It’s been the same experience every single time I’m at this airport location. I suggest ordering 30-60 minutes ahead of time if it is a busy time of day (morning).

I ordered a coffee and had to wait a very long line of customers to be served then until the place was empty and after several attempts to get their attention they found out that they forgot my order. I almost lost my plane for being waiting and didn't have time to relax and enjoy my drink. Very bad service

Worst service ever, the lady staff at the counter claimed that they can’t make Frappuccino because the blender isn’t working/broken which turned out to be a lie as she made strawberry frappe in the blender. She was lying right to my face and when I inquired she raised her voice. Extremely rude and aggressive. Is this Starbucks Company policy ????

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. Waited 20 mins in line just for them to tell me they weren’t making what I wanted at the time. All the girls working there were extremely rude. Don’t waste your time here. Starbucks going down hill.

Staff was super nice and they took the average/same amount of time to get my beverage out as any other Starbucks location. My drink was very good-I tried something new: dragonfruit mango frozen lemonade. Yes-it was overpriced....but it's Starbucks AND an airport....double whammy. Line wasn't too long but they were still pretty busy.

A few good things about this location are that the shop opens really early in the morning (4:30 a.m.), and most of the employees are actually nice. Drawbacks include super long lines, and being out of basic menu items by midday. NOTE: The other, competing, coffee shop in the airport (Ramblin' Joe's - located nearby security screening) has much shorter lines, and their drinks are just as good.

'We're not making Frappuccinos'. No explanation. Just no. 'We have no bagels'.... ' we don't have whipped cream'.... Tried calling a manager and it's the wrong number. Horrible customer service and whoever does your ordering should be fired.

Only had to wait a few minutes but not a lot of space at this location. Could get busy quickly. Plenty of merch and food options at this location.

Ordered a grande black coffee. Waited 15 minutes when there were 9 baristas?! They eventually asked why I'm still standing here. And...they redeemed my 150 stars when it should have been only 50 stars for a regular black coffee.

Have come through several times - once a month for last 4 months - always slow. There is zero sense of urgency. Food is regularly 5-10 minutes later than drink. Not worth the money or time.

Yo. This Starbucks legit ran out of coffee. At 11am. Is that the biggest joke you've ever heard or what? But it gets worse. They also ran out of cup covers, grande cups, stirrers, and other items, and they couldn't take cash. But it gets worse. They were so understaffed (one person at an airport location!) that everyone waited over forty minutes to order! How is this acceptable from one of the biggest food companies in the world? My operations professor would've been fuming. I got an almond milk latte and it was awful. Their water or their ingredients just aren't up to par. It lacked all taste and smoothness. The girl working held it down well. I wish I remembered her name correctly, but it was like Merkayla or something. She was doing her best to take orders and make drinks at the same time. We all felt badly for her and can't believe Starbucks would leave this location as is!

Every six months or so I will give this Starbucks another chance. They never fail to disappoint! It took 24 minutes to get two English Breakfast teas. Do not even bother to get in line unless you have at least 30 minutes before your flight boards. I do not understand why Starbucks continues allows this location to damage their brand.

This is the only option early morning. Some of the employees need to find a new place to work. It's the airport your the only thing open. Quit throwing a fit about your job. We waited 40 minutes for two coffees and two very overpriced and over rated sandwich's. People of Memphis ruin another company that has a reputation for customer service.

Friendly staff. Quick service. Visibly clean. Coffee was good. Nice Light instrumental music/jazz in the background. Leather seating needs repair/ it's cracked/broken which takes away from other things that seem to be working well. Overall satisfactory.

Friendly, staff and made ordering easy. This Starbucks is located in terminal 3 (I believe) American airlines near gate 12. They have a nice small seating area with bar stools and a few regular tables. Great pick me up before or after a flight. We had the Venti Passion fruit shaken Ice tea, egg white pesto breakfast wrap, and mozzarella tomato basil pesto panini. It all tasted great.

Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Super disorganized and chaotic. In order to receive your items you have to repeat your entire order multiple times after paying. The staff does not know how to make the drinks and are extremely slow. I didn't get what I ordered, had to wait thirty minutes, and remind them several times what I paid for.

This Starbucks is always slammed but that's to be expected! The ladies that work in the morning always seem to do a great job at managing the crowd and communicating when they're out of something and even recommending a comparable item. I didn't give 5 stars bc every time I come to this location they're always out of something, which is no fault to the friendly ladies greeting and taking orders. Another reason I couldn't give 5 stars is bc I couldn't believe how absolutely terrible and unprofessional the choice of words, volume and tone the "manager" April chose when speaking to the sweet cashier, Tomika. She was speaking to her as if they were in a high school classroom or a girl on the street, not like a manager at all. Yelling at and talking to her like a child in front of her peers and customers. Tomika was very professional and continued assisting customers with a smile, even after being yelled at by her manager (who wasn't even in uniform...she was wearing a tight short sleeve olive green stretchy T-shirt with brown leggings and flats...I'd never seen this before at a Starbucks. Maybe the managers wear whatever they want but they certainly shouldn't be able to talk to their staff however they want!) I would not want to work under a leadership like this and I applaud Tomika and the other ladies for remaining professional, sweet and not passing their frustrations into the customers! Someone needs to talk to April about leadership skills bc what she did was embarrassing!

Located next to my Gate. Two employees were polite & efficient. I like that they serve Muffins, Bagels, & a Turkey & Cheddar Sandwich, the type of Breakfast I want before flying. They're just basic, but pricey. I did get change back from my $20 for a Sandwich & Juice. Some people sure do have long complicated Coffee orders! A Bloomberg study reported that Millenials (ages 20-36) drink 44% of coffee consumed in the United States. Demand for coffee continues to grow.

So many things wrong. 1. Blender was "down" 2. No cold brew even though it's early in the day and a not busy location (how do you run out) 3. Zero fresh food items in fridge, the fridge was totally empty except a few bottled teas 4. Computers are down so you can't pay with app or use stars 5. One register can take only cash, the other only card but they don't tell you until you've waited in line and after you order. 6. Got my drink finally and it's missing one of two ingredients I asked for. 7. Extremely slow service, I mean painfully slow. As someone who works out of airports and had been to hundreds of airport Starbucks, this might be a winner for the worst.

I ordered an iced americano but she gave me a hot americano. I get it, it's early. Well not really that early it's 9:30 AM for goodness sake! I can't even give her that excuse lol. So she gave me the wrong order which happens sometimes, but this was after she repeatedly kept forgetting my order and I had to remind her twice. And there was NO one else in line. Maybe if she spent less time chatting with her fellow employee and payed attention to her customers she might get someone's order right. Ridiculous.

This Starbucks is the best option for early morning food/coffee in the American terminal of Memphis Airport. I arrived at the airport right around 6am and they only had a short line. The staff cheerfully and efficiently got people their orders. Other reviews complain about lack of drinks, bad service, etc - I did not experience any of that. It was fine compared to other Starbucks locations. I ordered a egg and cheese sandwich and it tasted just like it does at any other Starbucks. I opted for a green tea which was tasty. I avoided the caffeine in my normal iced coffee and still got hydrated. Tea at Starbucks - I have never done that before. I was able to sleep on my flight and wake up refreshed at my destination. The prices were in line with any other airport Starbucks and my order was out in less than 5 minutes. This Starbucks does what it is supposed to with some added hospitality!

The young lady slowly walked to the cash register while drinking her Starbucks Frappuccino; finished her conversation with her colleague who initially walked away from the cash register abruptly because she has to attend supervisor training. I believe the cashier's name was Courtney, but she was very unprofessional! Her hair was in a sloppy ponytail, her shirt was untucked, and her attitude was Horrible! She was extremely frustrated to see that a line finally formed behind me and yelled that the espresso machine was down and something else was not working. Although I specifically came to Starbucks for a breakfast sandwich, I refused to spend any money on terrible service!!! Please Do Better!!!

Secret Shopper Here: Very Poor Customer Service. I was not greeted, I requested a drink for which I knew the price of and was rang up for another drink. When I question the staff about the price they became combative as if I were complaining. I was simply inquiring. When they finally found the drink I was looking for they added an unnecessary charge to the drink and happily told me that it would cost more, as the girl behind the counter said something along the lines of 'It doesn't matter how long you look the price will be the same'. I HIGHLY ADVISE ANYONE WHO DOESNT HAVE TO GET A COFFEE HERE TO GO ELSEWHERE.

This is the worst, and I mean the worst experience I have had in Memphis on my trip. All I wanted was a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I made the mistake of trying to pay cash. The male that was working there gave me back my money, said it was too early for him to take my bill and just walked away. I was left baffled and disturbed by the fact that he can get away with this type of customer service at a Starbucks. I know its 5am, but if u hate life that much then get out of customer service. This rude unwarranted behavior should not be acceptable in any facility. Re-education is needed or a new employee. Good luck at the 5 am rush. The ladies that were there were very nice, one was training so shout out to them. The guy though, no thank u!!!!!! He messed with my coffee experience. No good. Thought Memphis people were nicer, obviously not everyone.

The smelliest,filthiest Starbucks,ever. Bathrooms are next door and smell sooooo bad. Starbuck's side door was open and the floors looked so filthy,with trash and ...., and a very bad odor. People ordering couldn't see the filth.

Airport Starbucks must've been training or something because the girls behind the counter were standing there talking about eyelashes. Also, they took forever. Why are they allowed to wear braids and long hair not pulled back. Gross. Also, the girl at the register who had a hat on, said to the other girl that she didnt want to work the register because she didn't like to deal with the people in the line! That's insane. These people don't deserve minimum wage even. I was on flight C2 in the Memphis Airport on Allegiant Airlines. 6:45am. My tip is, teach these people customer service etiquette. No one trains these people any more. Please, for the love of God...... teach them.

When the hours states open 5am you would expect their employees to be ready and in place. I fly in and out of Memphis International Airport once a year and each time I stop at this Starbucks they are always late to open. I don't know if there is an early late or late late term, but it never opens on time! Late to me is 1 minute like the term "nearly full" it either is or isn't. Some days I've even seen it move in "slow motion."

We ordered cold brew here about 6 am, before catching a flight. We were served big cups of sludge that tasted like roofing tar. It was obviously the regular brewed coffee that sat in the warmer all day yesterday and then they refrigerated it and served the sludgy stale leftover cheap coffee as "cold brew" for twice the price. It tasted so terrible we couldn't drink it, but with the sluggish service we didn't have time to go back and get the right drink. Money wasted on expensive sludge we had to throw away. Ugh.

The 1 star is for the B gate location which doesn't do any decaf coffee drinks. No Americano's, Pour Overs, or regular old Decaf. Made for an unpleasant client who had to see for herself that this Starbucks is like no other. Visited Tuesday afternoon June 20th.

Really appreciated the customer service I received at this Starbucks counter today. My order was incorrect but they were more than happy to quickly fix the issue. Super friendly team that made an already stressful family trip to the airport much better! Thank you!

We ordered 4 drinks and 3 sandwiches at around 7.30 am, there was one male working the store by himself but there were no customers in line, when we came up to order, he rudely greeted us and when we ordered our sandwiches he seemed disinterested and walked away saying "I can still hear you guys" with his back towards us as we ordered, I guess he was distracted because he not only served one of our sandwiches extremely hot, definitely served beyond recommended serving temperature, but also messed up our drinks. We ordered 2 grande lattes and he gave us 2 tall ones instead. When we told the employee to fix the problem he simply put our tall drinks into grande cups and added ice, but our order specifically asked for easy ice. Terrible service and a terrible experience!
