Starbucks Asks for a Year of Rent Relief for Its Corporate Stores | Eater

"A major multinational coffee retailer asked landlords of its roughly 9,000 company-owned U.S. stores for a year’s worth of rent forgiveness after earnings dropped sharply. An internal email framed the request as support for modified operations and adjustments to lease terms and base rent structures to help the business withstand uncertainty, and the company’s CFO said they are discussing what might be commercially reasonable lease concessions. The appeal has reportedly been met with backlash from many landlords, and critics argue the move looks tone-deaf coming from a multibillion-dollar corporation while independent restaurateurs continue to struggle to pay rent." - Jaya Saxena

Ever since this place opened back up it’s awful. Cup of black ice coffee takes forever, isn’t even coffee but tea, stop coming here and maybe we can get a better spot downtown.

Passed by this Starbucks to get a quick drink and was welcomed by Tyra, she was so friendly and welcoming to us. I wanted to take my time to write a review because what stood out for me was how happy and friendly she was. I came in almost at closing time and she delivered a great customer service experience :)

They are taking down their own employee opinion on the place. Shame on the new management who are very disorganized and not recognizing the workers efforts which is the core of Starbucks but this management won’t because of their own greed. Pls take the time to read the photo. This is completely unacceptable for the workers!

I live in the high rise close to Starbucks and I come there in the morning regularly and I can honestly say the customer service is outstanding, they always greet me with a smile especially the manager Mercedez, she’s the best, she always make sure I leave with a smile, I won’t go to any other Starbucks but this one

I loved how the cashier was super nice and patient. My drink came out so fast and tasted great! Love starbies. The interior looks really nice as well and it’s fairly quiet

This Starbucks is in the middle of downtown Miami, which can be convenient for most people to meet up. It is across the street from the government center and the metro rail. It is spacious with lots of seating indoors and outdoors. We arrived at a slow time, so the service was quick and friendly. No complaints. We each tried the Eggs & Gouda Protein box plus a regular plainiced coffee. It is perfect for keto dieting or any other kind of diet. It tasted good enough. Starbucks is decorated with Valentine's Day sweets, and it is tough not to want to eat some of them, but we behaved. Tomorrow may be different.

I was here earlier this week, asked for Lavender latte, they gave me Lavender Matcha, I don’t like matcha it’s too sweet with lavender. They made me latte but it wasn’t good. Here today 6 people working and more than 6 waiting for their food and coffees. Made me a latte instead of lavender latter, so had to remake. Even more time waiting. Not great considering how many people are working and how long is the wait line (for drinks, not to pay). I’m glad I didn’t leave a tip this time considering my experience earlier this week. Shouldn’t the tip be after the service, not before?
