Starbucks Plans Italian Expansion, Opening Two More Stores in Milan | Eater

"Located on Via Durini and opened last week as the second of two new Milan locations, this cafe continues a controversial but steady push into Italy after the brand’s initial Milan debut; company leaders describe the effort as a cautious, medium-term (five-year) program that seeks to blend an international identity with menu and service adjustments suited to Italian preferences, with plans to add about 15 more sites in Italy annually if the strategy proves successful." - Chris Fuhrmeister

It’s a unique Starbucks experience. The breakfast was very good, though the place was absolutely packed and even had a line outside. Despite the crowd, it was still a fun place to visit.

This was by far the worst Starbucks I visited in all of France, Italy, and England during my six weeks in Europe. The attitude of the worker and manager was terrible. The cake I was served was hard as if it were old. The coffee was served in a to go cup despite me asking to drink it there, and it was barely warm. They forgot my cake and when I mentioned it to them, the barista argued with me asking me why I couldn’t wait one minute for my cake. Stay away from this bad service Starbucks.

I enjoyed being able to use their WiFi setup to discuss business matters over vidocall. The registration for WiFi confused me, but it makes a lot of sense; order to get a code, connect and register, then use the code for Internet access so that you can activate your registration in under five minutes. After activation you should be able to access the Internet for a long time. Four stars, because I would have liked the option to get instructions for the WiFi, for example by making a document with a manual accessible from the registration page. If it's there I didn't notice.

Large and well-kept, professional and courteous staff. The venue is closed to car traffic due to the works on the subway, the access road to the restaurant is in a dead-end street until the end of the works, it can only be reached on foot. We were here on Saturday 12 August 2023 and despite the many tourists in the center and nearby, the place was not crowded, an oasis of cool and tranquility from the heat of these days. Excellent quality chocolate bread.

I usually enjoy Starbucks for its atmosphere and coffee, but this location completely ruined my visit. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional — they seemed irritated when I asked simple questions about the menu, and their attitude made me feel unwelcome. Customer service should be a priority, especially in a place like Starbucks, but this was definitely not the case. I won’t be coming back to this branch again. Hopefully, management takes this seriously and improves staff training and attitude toward customers.

Americano tall was too watery , prefer the smaller one ! the people that work there are great and very kind and helpful, but the place is super busy and the cleaning is inadequate unfortunately... Dirty floor and tables.. you don't expect that in the heart of Milan

Great atmosphere, clean, and next to the fashion street. It’s Suitable for students and remote workers. Only problem is you can lack a space to sit and enjoy your coffee cause it’s always packed.
