Starbucks

I am a regular and usually order delivery through Uber Eats. The amount of Ice they are pouring in my Venti lately (last 3 deliveries) is way too much. I will not keep paying $7.00 for a Venti Matcha Latte that had too much ice. Let's be reasonable with portions Starbucks.

Lightning fast service. Super clean restrooms. The staff works very well together and they seem to be happy to be at work. I love this location!!

I went in to try the "Pecan Oatmilk Latte," and it was pretty good. Also had a slice banana walnut loaf 😋. Pretty good service. The wait time was short. It was nice and clean in and outside of the restaurant. It's definitely a good location to stop by.

The picture below is of my coffee and sandwich bought at the Starbucks on Causeway in Metairie, because it’s an impossible task at the Starbucks on Harrison, the only reason I went out for coffee is because of the loss of power on my street overnight. I watched five employees at Starbucks on Harrison in the dance of confusion, disorganization and chaos have almost 15 customers waiting and a line of inactivity of waiting customers to order. I gave up waiting to make an order after 10 minutes, drove to Causeway Starbucks in Metairie walked right in, ordered straight away and received what I ordered in less that five minutes. Same amount of staff, same amount of sitting customers. Focus Starbucks Harrison, don’t do your own thing! Well done Causeway!!! I again tried to use this store for a mobile order today, thinking that they could at least get that right. Monday 12th September. But of course after giving them 15 minutes to make the order after ordering it arrived to see a backlog of customers frustrated because the six baristas whom 3 out of the 6 were obliviously standing around. The guy doing the orders clearly all over the place fumbling and stumbling. After 20 minutes from ordering, I gave up and went home, it was quicker to drive home and make it there. I cannot believe this Starbucks venue cannot get their act together. Last week I ordered my coffee to have splenda in it, I arrived on three separate occasions, no splenda, so I suggested that maybe one person should go tot he supermarket opposite and buy a box until their splenda comes in. This venue is such a dreadful example of how a coffee shop should run.

I ordered 2 coffees and a cheese danish on Saturday (Dec. 4th) morning @ 9am via the mobile app. My order was not ready until 9:30. I understand that most mornings at this location are pretty busy. So while the wait was inconvenient, it wasn’t that big of a deal. The staff appeared to be unorganized and overwhelmed. In the car after receiving my order, I realized my vanilla sweet cream cold brew was TERRIBLE. This is my go to order, and while it hasn’t been the same every time, it’s never been this bad. I chalked this up to the store being busy and the employees rushing. So, then I begin to eat my cheese danish. About half way through I notice a “wet dirt” taste. I look down and there is MOLD on the danish. (See pics) I was unable to return to the store because I had to pick my daughter up from practice but I immediately start calling the store to let them know. After about an hour of calling I finally get someone on the phone. The guy that answered asked if I wanted to notify the manager. Ummm of course at the very least the manager should be made aware that they are serving bad food to customers. After waiting on hold for about 5 minutes a young lady comes to phone and apologizes about the incident but said the manager is not there yet and would call me within the hour when she arrives. I spent most of yesterday evening nauseous and vomiting. I can only assume from the mold consumption 😒. It has been MORE than 24 hours since the store was made aware of the incident and I still have not received a call from the manager!

I ordered a caramel frappe got it with no whip cream had her add whip cream then she drenched it in caramel to where the was no more whip cream, the drink was overflowing, there was no sugar what so ever . Like what?

I love this location on Harrison in New Orleans. The gentleman that made my Frappuccino made the best Frappuccino. Thank you

I always come in the afternoons since i work nights but today was my first time coming early in the morning and I was highly impressed at their speed and how well they work together. I know I could never be at my best or my nicest at 7:00 in the morning!! This location is my favorite and I am thankful for the people that make it what it is!!

I moved from Houston. The Starbucks on Harrison is the one I go to because it's close to my mom's house. It's terrible. It's not coffee they put so much milk. You're not getting the coffee you paid for you are paying for a milk drink. The manager I always have problems with. Her attitude is disrespectful. The spot. Great location in Lakeview with great personalized service. Coffee & food is always made to perfection and they are very consistent. It's also a great spot with indoor & outdoor seating - great for meetings/work or just relaxing. It's my go-to location.

While in westend I stumbled upon this Starbucks conveniently located on Harrison across from the plentiful neutral ground parking in the area. Besides the standard coffee and pastry offerings this location had a handful of seats and tables inside, but plenty of outdoor seating with tables (some with access to power outlets for your gadgets!) with awnings providing convenient shade. On further note I was able to purchase both Louisiana & New Orleans "Been There" mugs for my collection!

This is a nice family friendly Starbucks in the heart of lakeview. There's usually a wait in the mornings but it's not bad in the afternoon.

Very good food and drinks. This Starbucks accepts DoorDash and is very convenient. The store is consistently good.

I tried to discuss with both the manager, and someone who identified herself as an hourly employee what my issues were, but they both hung up on me and basically told me to fuck off. I need the owner to call me. They refuse to give me your contact info. If you can get in touch with me, that would be great.

Terrible service. Mobile orders are constantly screwed up. I really wanted to like this Starbucks because of its convenient location to my house however, they have consistently been a disappointment, always screwing up mobile orders, extremely slow service, so bad that I just don't go anymore. Don't waste your time.

By far the best Starbucks in the area without a drive though. Greetings are warm and friendly. Service is always great even where their extremely busy during school season. The baristas, cashiers and other employees are SUPER friendly. Today Joshua totally caught me by surprise by knowing my name! I was little shocked but definitely made me appreciate this place even more. I'm a sucker for Macchiatos and a cheese Danish.

I really like this Starbucks. I'm more of a PJs girl but this is where I come for my basic white girl iced chai tea latte with soy. As previous reviewers have said, there's not much indoor seating but plenty of COVERED outdoor seating. What's cool about this is that you can bring your puppy BFF with you! While Starbucks policy is that they do not allow pets, you can bring your dog inside to order before heading outside. This is a must when there isn't a drive thru! The staff here is friendly and service is quick. Drinks are your standard Starbucks quality. Stop on by, drop a tip in the jar, and treat your doggo to a puppuchino on the patio!

This is my go-to, neighborhood Starbucks. I'm here a few times a week and love the coffee. The staff is friendly and they really get the job done. This has to be one of the busier Starbucks, and it runs like a well oiled machine most days. The lines are long at peak times, but I think that's to be expected. The employees never stop moving, so the wait times aren't bad.

Hey Everybody! Pumpkin Spice is back!!! Can't believe it's already here but I'm not mad at all! I look forward to it every year! There's also pumpkin treats too like the pumpkin and cheese muffin! Yay! It's Pumpkin Time in the City!

This is the friendliest, nicest, most competent Starbucks location I've ever been to and I've lived in Washington DC and Houston Texas in addition to now living in New Orleans. I love these guys and they brighten my day. They also consistently make THE best chai latte ever!!! mmmmm good!!! Clare Giesen

Management is horrible, drinks always delayed. Today was told drinks were about 30 minutes behind. Staff is extremely rude, people were canceling their orders left and right. Sounds like a management problem. This Starbucks location sucks and needs major help. If there was a way to give a negative star rating this place has earned it.

This is consistently one of the best Starbucks I have ever been to (and there has been a lot). The MORNING staff are always friendly without exception (although afternoon staff leave somewhat to be desired), the drinks are never burned, and the location is perfect for people, watching, studying, working, or just chilling. Yes, you were going to Starbucks anyway, then head to this location as it is around you.

Mobile orders are not this stores priority. We waited 40 minutes for our order. People walking in long after we ordered coming out with drinks. This owner needs to get on the ball. No drive thru either. Won't be coming here again.

Do not go to this Harrison location. They give you drinks that are all ice and when you bring it to their attention they just tell you...."everything is measured." I payed $5 for ice.

Niiiiiiiiice friendly staff. Love the lighted patio. On a balmy, non-humid night, this is a win-win situation. Surf the net, chat it up, go for the gusto... Buuuuuuuut don't go pee-pee, cuz tissue is non existent. I mean to be fair this was my 5th time there, 1st time using the "facilities", buuuuuut Starbucks is a large enough company (avg $5/cup of coffee) until I think they can afford a couple squares of toilet paper, #ijs. When I informed barrista about thw toilet-paperless ladies bathroom, he was well aware & apologized for the lack. I appreciated the apology, not his fault. But the inside area was a Little unkept, definitely a rarity for Starbucks, but I guess there are always an exception to every rule. All in all, Ill be back, with my own toilet paper no less... Lol, j/k. Haaaaaa, this Starbucks get a 7.69 on a scale of 1-10.

I really wish this location would get it together. We live close by and go often which is dumb on our part because nothing is ever right and the baristas have some serious issues with customer service. Don't bother ordering ahead on the app because that takes even longer. Visit the one on Vets. They're super friendly and we've never had an issue there.

Don't come here! Not only are they ALWAYS PACKED but they will allow customers to sit and wait on their drink until you go up to them 30 MINUTES LATER and ask where your order is? Background info: I came in, gave my name, and asked if my order of egg whites and coffee were ready. The woman running the mobile orders station said my drink wasn't ready yet but my food was and handed me my food. I then sat for 30minutes and went up to them again and inquired about my drink. She said oh we are out of "almond milk". I said, I gave you my name, asked about my drink and sat behind you for 30min. You never called my name and asked if I was there. If I hadn't come up to ask, I'd still be sitting there! No apologies were made and they didn't offer to anything to compensate my time. I will not be going back to this location

I give a four because I save my fives for seldom places. Love this starbucks. Very efficient, in a pretty area, and very friendly staff.

This was once my regular Starbucks to go to. Every time I have had an issue, or things went especially well, the management has always taken me seriously. Now, when I do go in, they remember me and my regular order and ask how I've been doing. The neat thing here is that there is a line marking where the water came to from Hurricane Katrina, and the line is higher than I am tall. They have had the occasional rude barista, but just tell the management, and they will take care of everything. Parking in front can be tight, but there is parking in the rear. There is no drive thru. There is some outdoor seating. The inside is a bit tight with the seating. Recently, the exterior has undergone a facelift. The paint has gone from a brownish-yellow to a grey-white. The exterior seating still has nice strings of lights that come on at dusk. The parking lot in front has been cleaned up and the lines repainted. It is nice that despite the fact that this is an established store, it is still cared for. The restrooms are not gender neutral, but single stall, and I have seen women coming out of the mens room when the line has gotten long, and no issue was made from it.

Service is horrible when it comes to food. The girl checked her phone 4 times. She didn't wear any gloves, no hair net, and didn't have any sense of urgency. I will only be getting drinks or taking a ride to the Elysian Foelds location where I don't have to wait 21 minutes on food.

I have been a frequent mobile customer of this location because of habit but as of now I am no longer. The inconvenience of this location is the biggest reason. The location is often under staffed, lack the necessary products to run the business, with subpar communication. Understaffing causes 30 min or more for orders however food is almost the first to arrive. Food is not carefully packaged and because of the long wait for drinks food is often cold and unpleasantly presented. Mobile drinks are often made incorrectly because of the lack of printer ink. Thus a customer who had paid for upgrades will not received them because the staff can't clearly read the sticker. The customer is spending money for these upgrades the least the company can do is fix the printer for the stickers. This has been ongoing. As someone with a diary allergy I often get oatmilk. This location can go days without diary alternative with no urgency to make sure inventory meets demand.

Most of the employees working there are rude! They are always out of something. Today, they were out of vanilla syrup and berries. The employee taking our order was very rude and unprofessional (Devin, in training). She was giving my daughter and me dagger eyes for putting in an order. If she doesn't want to work, she does not need to subject everyone to her miserable self. Additionally, they made my daughter's drink incorrectly, and they refused to fix it. We spend an average of $25 per order, and we go there often. However, I have decided that I will be taking my money elsewhere! Starbucks seriously needs to find a good manger and recruit better employees!

Sunflower mask takes joy saying no to people, in a condescending way. I watched her be hostile with the customer both in front of and behind me. Incredibly rude- woof.

More people making coffee than in the store buying coffee and after a 10 minute wait, I was told that my order would be another 10 minutes. 20 minute wait for the limited number of people in the store seems crappy. It really seems we need to come up with a better balance of app order fulfillment and in-store patrons. Or at least have the cashier manage expectations when taking orders. They really didn't seem to care though.

Slow and the frap machine is always broken. Totally unorganized. I did an online order and people who came in and did an order were served well before me. I asked for no whip and they gave me whip.

Exactly what all the other reviews say.. RUDE. Looked at me stupid because I was slightly unsure of what my coworkers wanted in an order.

Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman, I mean Starbucks. This place is constantly packed any time of the day which is not a bad thing. I've had no problems with any drinks i've ordered or the service. There is plenty of seating available inside and out, so you can bring your furry animals out for some coffee as well. If you're familiar with Harrison, there is plenty of parking everywhere if you're willing to make a few extra steps to get in.

Convenient location right next to my favorite nail shop. I come every time I get my nails done, which is often! It gets super busy here so be prepared to wait in line. The baristas are super friendly and try to get you your drink in a timely manner. If your drink doesn't come out the way you want, they're really good about remaking it! Which is always a plus!

This Starbucks is awesome. I have no idea why such low stars. The staff is super nice and patient. This is an incredibly busy location so they do get backed up but most do when it's that busy.......and I've never had to wait more than ten minutes. There's not a ton of seating but they do have outdoor seating which is nice.

We all have bad days, and it's then that great employees stand out. Josef couldn't fake it today. After my order, I let him know that yesterday I had a cappuccino from this location that was made with only milk (no coffee), and as I watched his blood drain from his face, I continued to explain that we used it at the office for other coffees, so all good, we got value and I didn't want any refund, just an FYI here. His response was an eye-roll and the standard reciting of what seemed to be the Starbucks policy manual's suggested response. It couldn't have been less sincere. His distain for me and all that I apparently represented in his agitated state of mind, was risible. Josef, I'd bet you're better than that. Next time you're triggered, handle it.

Best s'bucks on town!!! Iced au lait to fight the heat. Often has free pastries in the afternoon. Great crowd od respectful regulars. New glasses for in house cold drinks. Me likie! French press. Komodo Dragon blend is not so great for me...citrusy. The French press coffee is phenomenal and not expensive! Lots of parking, fun atmosphere, reasonably quiet. My current favorite s'bucks in Nola!

So because I ask for light ice my cup gets half filled with sweet cream foam? Service was quick THATS why I give them 3 stars. But if I'm paying $7 I don't want my drink all foam.

Hands down the worst Starbucks ever. Cashier was very rude and couldn't even tell us what drinks they weren't able to make. Once we got our drinks their were really watery and weren't what we ordered. They just looked at us when they gave us the drinks and did nothing about it. Waiting 25 minutes for two drinks and their was only two other people in the store. This store needs some reconsideration on their staff and only has 3 star reviews for a reason. Drive to the next Starbucks location this one you'll be wasting your time.

Just had the worst experience at this Starbucks i go to all the time since it is near my house. I would give this review 2 stars because the lady at the register was so nice, but not even her sympathy would make me want to even rate this Starbucks 1 star, luckily Yelp makes you pick that option. Anyway, i ordered a grande Javachip frap. The order came and i waited until i got into the car to try it. The coffee part was good, but then when the drink was close to my face, i started to notice a weird smell. It smelled like rotten dairy. So, i tried a bite of whip cream and instantly had to pull over to spit it out and started gagging. I'm usually not one to bring my food back at restaurants, but this was so disgusting i turned around and went back to the store. I waited in line and approached the nice woman who had just taken my order, and explained that the whip cream must be bad and that she could smell it to prove it. She took a whiff and agreed that it smelled rotten. She gave me a refund. I'm guessing that the lady appeared from the back was a manager and the cashier showed her and she claims she didn't smell anything. I told her she should try it because obviously their whip cream was rotten, she stated that it was made this morning and it was fine. I wasn't trying to argue, so i took my remade coffee, containing whip cream again. You know how there's extra whip cream coming out the opening in the top? Well, i licked it off the cap and had to go to the nearest trash can and spit it out in a napkin. I went back to the counter and said that this whip cream was also rotten. Now you can tell they were mad, they yelled "i just re-made that coffee." They tried the whip cream from the can and was said it was fine. Obviously its not! You think i was that terrible taste stuck in my mouth?? I'm not sure why it was "fine" out of the can, but i know what taste rotten or not. If i cant hold it in my mouth and gag its obviously not fine! The whip cream is always my favorite part about the fraps! So, she suggested that i have one without whip cream, of course thats not what I wanted but i did not want to have rotten as an option. This same lady that had an attitude with me about the whip cream (white, shorter lady with brown hair and glasses), i noticed that she was also being unnecessarily mean to the cashier on my first visit. The cashier was a young black lady, and btw she was awesome. So anyway, i get my THIRD drink and what does it contain, WHIP CREAM. Not wanting to deal with these very rude workers for a 4th time, i took my coffee to the trash can and opened the lid. I tried a little bit of the whip cream and EW it was also rotten like the other two, i just scraped the whip cream off and walked out the door. I wish i had an ally, besides the cashier, that could try it and see that I'm not the only one that has taste buds. I'm now sitting at home typing this trying to enjoy this coffee with no whip, but i just cant. It's now in the trash, just like this Starbucks should be.

The one star is very generous. I literally had to get my money back. The "barista" did not know what she was doing. After two attempts at making a consistent Frappuccino she pretty much gave up and clumped it into a cup, drizzled some caramel on it and put a lid on it. At that point I asked the cashier guy who walked over if she knew that I ordered two of them - not one. I also noted that she failed to put whipped cream on it to which she snootily interjected that they were "out" of whipped cream. Normally that would not have been a deal breaker but she had such a bad attitude AND she snarled that it was a good thing she hadn't made two since they would "still be out of whipped cream!" Who says that! At that point I asked for my money back. The guy at the register was very nice and obliging but seriously - won't go back. Too many other options.

I love Starbucks. I get coffee about every other day. Never have I had to wait 25 minutes for my coffee. 15-20 people behind me got theirs before me. This is after reminding them twice. This store needs to get it together.

We stopped by here after spending some time at city park which was pretty much a hop, skip, and a jump away. This Starbucks is located right over the little bridge in the Lakeside area. We came around 4 pm for the Meet for Macchiatos event, and apparently so did everyone else because they were pretty swamped. Anyhow, the service was still prompt, and the barista Cat knows how to make a mean frappe. Our drinks were served up ice cold, tasty and near perfect. We ordered the Coconutmilk Mocha Macchiato, and the Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato. I preferred the Iced cinnamon almond milk one and I had this made with sf dolce syrup. The coconut milk mocha we added extra Splenda and stirred it more and it was better after that. Overall our coffee was pretty yummy, especially for the buy 1, share 1 event.

Really annoyed that this Starbucks charged me for pupicinos, which is essentially just a small cup with a little bit of whip cream and I've NEVER paid for them before. Seeing as I buy enough Starbucks to pay my rent monthly and then the Asian man was beyond rude because he poured so much milk into my iced coffee that you could barely tell it was coffee anymore and when I asked him to remake it he told me I ordered wrong. Starbucks used to be nice because it was convenient not because of quality. Not it has neither convenience or quality.

July 28 time (12:05)I just had the worst experience coworkers scream to each other! Argue about taking the garbage people to be late my order is taking too long to be process because the argument! They are so rude!

I wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to this location. My daughter and I made a special trip because the staff is so great. The seating area outside is nice and spread out. They welcomed our dog and visited with us. We will be back!

What can you say about another Starbucks? This one is a popular joint for the Lakeview crowd even though NOLA Beans is just a few doors down. The locals seem to like this place for its coffee and outdoor seating. If it gets too crowded, just try NOLA Beans... or just go ahead and try NOLA Beans first.

Great outdoor seating area but everything else sucks. Very few places to sit and spread out inside with a wifi that goes up and down all day long. The drinks are good but unless you like to sit in the heat. They don't even have the elevator music which I like to listen to from time to time. This location was very cheaply built and needs improvement.

What happened to this place?!? It's really gone down the tubes... I used to love coming here. It was home. And now... it's nothing more than a factory of poorly and slowly constructed beverages made by newbies who clearly are not receiving proper training (at no fault of their own). What happened here? It's clear the new hires don't even have a chance since they seem neglected through the training process. And now, there's nothing but employees who are failed by the system. And not to mention, the manager... She is not approachable at all, and I've never seen manager interacted with employees and customers in such a disrespectful way.

Hate to say it but all Starbucks are pretty much the same. This one gets an extra star because it's clean, the bathrooms are stocked and the baristas aren't rude. They aren't overly friendly, but I don't expect too much! They get the drinks right, they seem to be well trained and the app makes the purchase process go smoothly! Be careful backing out of the parking spaces in the front lot!! There are bollards at the end of the spaces and I've seen quite a few people hit them backing out!

What makes this location so fantastic is its Katrina line - a reminder of how high the water went on the building to serve as a constant check. This Starbucks is small and quaint (as quaint as a Starbucks can get), but very clean and populated with students. I enjoy the doors, as they are not the typical push/pull with the same metallic bar handle, but an actual door where one has to grab the knob and really REALLY push or pull. Anyway, this Starbucks is down the street from Chase bank and surrounded by a Rite Aid and a local eatery....sad to say that despite the fantastic face life of Harrison Ave, it's still empty..but that may have been b/c of the tons of parades going on.... Drinks are standard (passion tea lemonade..yum) are the baristas are "friendly" albeit a bit clueless on social tactic....they tried.

Super rude baristas. This Starbucks is the closest coffee shop to my office, so I occasionally pop in for a cold brew. I regret it every single time. I'd rather drive across town to French Truck or Cherry where I won't be greeted with an eye roll and a snotty attitude.

Was OK until received rude treatment from an employee. Guess what Starbucks? There are other coffee shops around! Bye.
