Starbucks

Before flying back to Germany, I absolutely had to stop by Starbucks. It was the perfect place for a morning coffee. The employees were friendly and helpful. I had a lovely visit, and the coffee was perfect. I promise I'll be back.

The folks working behind the counter are 5 stars, no doubt. Starbucks products themselves have always been a 4 star proposition (the coffee being the weakest thing they offer). And this particular place gets 3 stars for "environment" which can range from crazy busy with people trying to get to work, to full of screaming high school girls debating pop music,, to folks who are there to sleep not drink coffee.... That averages this particular Starbucks to 4 stars. Long live the chai latte!!

Cool relaxing place, two guys with glasses and girl with glasses were friendly, gave us ice waters and we got to just hang out here for an hour and all we bought was apple juice. I had to charge my phone so it was very convenient. Thank you

Good morning everybody an this starbucks is not a good starbucks to come to because of the customer service an the prices here an i blame that on the management team an the owner…..because number one they never give out any kind of bags so ur food is gonna get cold very fast but i don’t have enough time to complain about this restaurant because i have to go to work but hopefully with this review an other reviews will change this starbucks system

No restroom for customers. An elderly handicapped woman was sent on a quest to the nearest McDonald's. Food and service med expectations. Concerns with customers and employees have nowhere to use the restroom or wash their hands.

I like going to this Starbucks location to hang out and get some drinks.The service was incredible especially the guy jalein

Got a sausage breakfast sandwich here. Very good. The customer service was excellent.

Every Starbucks has pretty much the same menu but each one can be a different experience. Some have people sitting for hours at a time and some have staff that change a lot. This location is more of a commuter location. The tables turn over fairly quickly and it's usually crowded with the morning rush and when the schools get out. The staff is consistent and friendly.

The drinks are unbelievable and very tasty especially if Mellie or Fran make them!!!!! The service from these young ladies is superb!!!! They remember me as a returning customer and I appreciate that from them!!!!!!! They are always so very friendly and give service with a smile !!!!!The ambience is very comfortable and inviting!!!!!

I was so surprised that this Starbucks location still had the Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai on their menu. I loved this drink during the holiday season. The service was quick and the cashier was very friendly. The establishment wasn't noisy at all and I received my drink and it was refreshing and delicious. Overall pleasant experience!

They've changed the staff here and the service is much better! They currently have holiday decorations to complement their holiday drinks. Fast and friendly service.

This is my go-to spot for Starbucks! I'm a regular visitor, because this part of Brooklyn is extremely busy. "Downtown Brooklyn" is a vibrant part of the community and this Starbucks location is within walking distance of Long Island University, Atlantic Terminals Mall, City Point Mall, Junior's Restaurant, Trader Joe's, and the Barclay Center. "Pink Drinks" are AWESOME but extremely popular in these parts and HARD to find. This location actually have the "Pink Drink" available late in the afternoon so I'm deeply impressed. The customer service is consistent each time I visit, my custom orders are accurate and each time I enter an employee gives me an upbeat "hello," "good afternoon," or "welcome." I find that most of the Starbucks's across Brooklyn are in great condition, clean, and filled with consistent great customer service. I will definitely be back!

Infested with rats!! Beware ! I passed by the other day and as I almost walked in there was an entire swarm ! Cannot believe it. I hope someone calls inspection.

This is my favorite Starbucks in Brooklyn the staff here are so friendly, professional and polite. The manager Kaycee is a true sweetheart. Her team is amazing while I always order my food via the mobile app there line is always long so it's wise order ahead. Truth be told if I'm out of town I don't even go to another Starbucks as long as I'm in NYC I'm always stopping by here. You won't be disappointed coming here.

I am so happy a Starbucks opened in this location. The staff was nice and energetic and the service was fast. My coconut milk matcha was so thick and creamy, yum. I also love the lemon pound cake here and hibiscus iced tea. For some reason the pound cake comes packaged now. They also had a nice playlist for the four hours I stayed here to do some work.

I came in to order a traveler coffee at 7:21AM was asked if I can wait and of course I can however no specific time was given nonetheless I waited. I figured they had to brew the coffee so gave them 25-30 minute. Time was up and I inquired on an estimated time and was provided no eye contact and reluctantly told "I dont know"... To not get upset I decided to talk to the person I made the purchase with and told them I had to leave for work and require an estimated time. While conversing with them I see the person that dismissed me who was in charge of brewing just getting to cleaning out the old batch to start the fresh one. I ask "has the brewing really not begun yet" and was told "yea he forgot".... I leave my number and am told they will call. It is now 824AM and the item I paid for finally made it in my possession. I'm only here because Devocion doesn't do traveler boxes (hopefully soon). Haven't drank a starbucks for a while now that actual coffee and not sugar is available in the neighborhood. Overall I'd say go by Hoyt and avoid this mess of a shop.

Makes terrible coffee and charging wrong price, no sugar and cream provided. Terrible service!

Everything was terrific except for the AC situation. AC is broken in the middle of July and the poor workers are forced to work wit the risk of heat exhaustion.

I have to say I'm really disappointed in this Starbucks.. we all know Starbucks have the most significant coffee so of course I'm not going to stop getting my coffee from there but I have to say this location never fails to mess up my order and the staffs have the most obnoxious attitude especially when they're the ones that mess up the order. The manager or the boss need to hire more professional beings.There is absolutely no great customer service.. in addition the wait is bizarre, you'll be waiting for a good 45-50 min for just a small coffee. Solid Starbucks. Nice space with plenty of seating and pleasant/helpful staff. My drink was made with some love as I find that not all drinks from this chain are created equally.

I've lived in the area for about 3 years now and I've only had my drink messed up twice which isn't terrible. The first time was when I ordered a brown sugar oat-milk cold brew and they ran out of brown sugar syrup and I was not informed of that. The barista used the raw sugar packet which would have been fine however they did not melt the raw sugar to liquify it with a little bit of hot coffee or hot water. The sugar stayed at the bottom of the cup. The second time I ordered a dragon fruit refresher with light ice and no inclusions. The barista that made my drink was training and they ended up putting extra ice... I wasn't too upset about that. In all, the baristas are really nice and the store is pretty clean.

Waited over 5 minutes for a PUP CUP! a PUP... CUP! Which is only whipped cream in a cup for my dog. I ended up just leaving and going to the Starbucks in Target. I received it in 3 seconds.

Get your act together! I've been coming to this Starbucks for 2 years now and the last 6 months it's become a mess. The mobile orders are down, not coming in or slowed down. But the worst part is the rude staff. A few of them look like they don't want to be there and they ignore customers. There were a few of us waiting for 20 minutes for mobile orders that didn't come through and not one of the members acknowledged any of us. The irony is I started coming to this Starbucks over a different one because this one used to have better customer service.

I am not sure whether the employees were fully present or ready for customers when I arrived, but they kind of came around when I ordered my espresso drink. It was made backwards and the soy that went in it was slightly curdled, so after a few links and an apology they remade it at their leisure. Im glad I was not in a big hurry, because I surely would have been late. I asked if they had, mayo, mustard and a knife for my sandwich.... they responded no to all of the items and said they sold guacamole and sriracha sauce sometimes! What does that even mean/. Do you have at least those in stock? I guess not. I would have paid for them had they been offered. SMH. When did Starbucks get like whatever this is? I will go to the other locations right there in the area instead.

If I can differentiate my stars for this location, that would be great. The entire staff minus the manager Michael, is wonderful. The Starbucks team have great energy and it's a pleasure to know that any given time of day. Unfortunately the manager is beyond rude. I was hesitant to even leave a review but after witnessing him verbally abusing his staff, I had to. Manager Michael is operating this location as a military camp to where he speaks and yells and the staff is just to obey. I patronize this location EVERYDAY along with a minimum of eight of my colleagues and we all feel the same. It's too the point that we don't even like to purchase anything while he's there to avoid witnessing Michael's rants and harsh tones. He is rude and unprofessional. His team should be able to speak about how he treats them without worrying about being disciplined with removing hours from their time. Very sad to see such behavior during the difficult times we are living.

Definitely need better management at this location. Incredibly rude baristas. Not worth stopping by.

This is my home Starbucks. Absolutely, love it! The people are amazing here. They knew me by name after two times and my order after three. I never have to order just walk in and they ask if I would like to have the usual. Mike is the manager and leads a great team! My drink is always made to perfection.

Service is horrible, visited here mid day Saturday when it was not busy but all the employees were more interested in their own conversations than the needs of the few customers present at the time. This is a surprise since I frequently stop here on my way to work between 6 and 7am with the best of greetings and wonderful service, very disappointing

Kaliyah was a godsend. I broke down and didn't have my phone and she hooked me up. Tried Applebee's and they refused to help telling me to "ask someone on the street" Kaliyah helped AAA came and I was on my way. No better Customer Service then that. Thank You Thank You Thank You

I honestly will not even stop here anymore even if there is no one on line. The staff have little to no interest in helping you out. I walk by on my way to the train and even with an empty store your are lucky to get out in under 7 to 10 minutes. It feels like they are doing you a favor to take your order.

Really poorly managed Starbucks. They play their music at 200% the normal volume. There's no clear management behind the counter. Today a barista was talking on their phone while making a drink, then frustratedly dumped it out because she distractedly made it wrong. Meanwhile nearly 10 people are waiting for drinks. It's a crazy part of town - LIU, Verizon, ConEd and everything else around here, but this store needs some management to get it operating to the level it needs to be at.

Don't mobile order... especially pastries... they'll never be ready. I came here multiple times to pick up mobile orders and the pastries were never ready, only drinks

Going to starbucks for me is a once in a while treat, while I love their products I thinks its overpriced coffee & tea. Nonetheless, I went in today to treat myself & specifically buy a Strawberry Acai w/ lemonade with the fresh strawberries. Had a pleasant convo with the cashier about the size and express I wanted a Venti drink that had the fresh strawberry. The store was pretty empty and my drink was prepared very quickly. However when the barista gave me my drink i just saw a plain strawberry drink. I said I have the drink with the strawberries and he just replied "NO" and offered no other explanation. So i asked, what is this drink and what is it suppose to come with. Then he said we have no strawberries, and further said "thats just there for decoration anyway". I work in Customer service all my life, and this Starbucks lacks plenty of it. Everyone looked at me like I had 2 heads because there was no strawberries and I had the nerve to question it. I would have at least like to be informed before & I can make the ultimate decision if id still want to make the purchase or not. I like to get what I pay for and $5.00 + for strawberry lemonade is ridiculously expensive and I could have easily gone down the block to McDonald and get a large strawberry lemonade with strawberry for half the price and no attitude. Starbucks needs to do better in training their staff and provide intensive customer service to the customers who pay patronage to your stores. Unfortunately, this is the closest store to my job and the only one Ive have always have issues with but i have been to many others and have gotten the best treatment, service with a smile and great customer service. You need to hire better staff and TRAIN well the young students & staff you hire who act like they don't even want to be there. Horrible service & management!!
