Google
For the Starbucks near gate c95. The worse girls working at the counter. Asked if they were open, and they just stare blankly at us. So we decide they’re closed since they literally stare at us and say nothing with the back turned. We are Asian, but as soon as more non Asian people arrive at the terminal, they immediately assist them. Going back again, trying to order drinks they disrespectfully say “what else, what else”. Lastly, ordered a pumpkin drink, that just tastes like sour coffee. Great place to get treated with silence and “what else” if you’re Asian.

Google
Friendly staff working and made coffee quick with a friendly message on the cup :)

Google
Ordered and waited and waited and waited. Many other people ordered behind me and they were served before I was along with "friends" who would come in. I waited for 25 minutes for 2 drinks. Good thing I wasn't in a rush for my flight.

Google
Line is awfully long due to understaffing. Came here several times, only ordered once.

Paulus Die Boskabouter

Google
Good brew and the guy with the beard was helpful and friendly. Fast ,friendly service.

Jess

Google
Bad they made my order wrong but refused to remake it

Felicia He

Google
Fast service and friendly staff. They have a good selection of food items as well.

Google
Short you on your coffee. A solid 3 inches of empty space every time

Yelp
It's a Starbucks, at a airport; they serve decent coffee. I got a black coffee drip and it tasted fresh.

Yelp
This location was out of many items, the oven didn't work, so no sandwiches, and the only barista working was kinda rude.
google avatar

Yelp
The worst service ever. Got the order wrong, line a mile long, definitely still lit from the night before gossiping. Was kind and patient and they were honestly assholes.

Yelp
This Starbucks is located near Gate 123 and is very busy. I would order ahead on the app to skip the line. They have one person taking orders on two registers but multiple people making food and drink orders. They accept the Starbucks app but if you're a rewards member, it is $.59 for a refill on coffee. I ordered the Elphaba's Cold Brew and thought it was interesting. I liked the peppermint flavor as it is not overwhelming but I would pass on the sprinkles as it is a bit hard/crunchy.

Yelp
I had such a pleasant experience at the Starbucks before our flight to Mexico. Even though it was really early in the morning, and there was a huge line of people waiting, our server was so pleasant. I appreciated this so much. The airport is such a hectic environment, and it meant so much that the cashier went out of his way to be sweet , not just with me, but everyone in line. I wish I got his name, but he was fabulous. I ordered the lavender oat milk iced latte. I actually loved it, and I saw them ladling in the purple lavender syrup. I thought it went really well with the oat milk. I didn't notice any kind of soapy flavor that can sometimes come with lavender. Would definitely order again! Someone else pointed out in their review and photo - the cups and products were really nicely organized. It just seems like the staff had a really good handle on this location.

Yelp
Worse Starbucks in the world. Sullen, slow staff who make incredibly bad coffee--usually same quality at all stores but this one manages to screw it up. Disgustin.

Yelp
Giving this spot 4 stars because it's what I expected for an airport Starbucks. They had exactly one table to sit at, the rest of the seating space is just a bench without seating. It's super loud in the space because of the foot traffic - lots of orders and customers. Definitely not the chill Starbucks vibes you'd get at a non-airport store, but that's what I'd expect. We got a pistachio latte, and it was quite good. Not a lot of pistachio taste so I wouldn't get it again, but it was nice and foamy.

Yelp
Starbucks at Terminal B, gates B40 to B47, offers a reliable coffee fix amidst the hustle and bustle of morning travel. While the morning rush can lead to long lines and slower service, the boost baristas are commendably efficient and courteous. Despite the overwhelming number of travelers, they maintain a pleasant demeanor and ensure orders are promptly fulfilled. A testament to their dedication and professionalism.

Yelp
Ordered the tomato and mozzarella with pesto sandwich. This is how it came.... Only one tiny piece of tomato in the whole sandwich. Of course I'm in my car heading home when I noticed I'm not seeing any tomato. I understand your sandwiches come pre-made but somebody needs to check the people at the warehouse who are putting these things together because they're not doing their job.

Yelp
We don't usually get scolding by any Starbucks barista. Well, I did just now, by barista Rahjeeya. It's always a long line to order at this location, and when we finally got to order, we said the order, showed employee badge for discount, then we were told by Rahjeeya to hold off, as she was not ready to hear or accept any information. After we're finally allow to speak, she wanted us to pay up, however we wanted to make sure the amount she charged was including the discount before we pay; because she never showed her acknowledgment of the discount or confirmed our order. When we asked her if the total was after the discount, she start to complain, and scolded us that we should not bother confirm as she saw our badge of course she will give us the discount!! She never said a word, and when she opened her mouth she scold her customer! No one is mind reader here! I know it's the morning peak for coffee, and maybe lots of customers give her the pressure, or she had some family matters, ... I don't know, plus she had been nonstop taking orders, but it would be professional to keep your emotions with you and not pass down the bad vibes to your customers, for them to also start their days with negative energy. Thank goodness the drink was made by other barista, and it tasted like Starbucks! Therefore this place is from zero star to one star. There is another Starbucks in terminal C. However that one was always no line, and a lot less people. Reason I think: 1. Locates at Departure check-in lobby; everyone is busy checking in their luggages and rushing to TSA. 2. At TSA, no liquids is allowed to pass. So you don't see any one has coffee or water bottle on hand. And after passing TSA, every Starbucks goers rush to this location, and creating long line, and possible bad vibes...

Yelp
Barista was so on top of it! She was working bar and training on register at the same time and killing both.
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
The server was so rude - she was rolling her eyes the whole time and it looked like she didn't want to work and throwing kids and junk like what a idiot
google avatar

Rick G.

Yelp
Seriously. LOUD music through a busted speaker at 5:58 am! And they were already having trouble saying names over the noise with 35 people trying to hear. What is it lately that Starbucks employees play the music for themselves and not the customer?
google avatar

Yelp
DO NOT FOR ANY REASON GO TO THIS STARBUCKS! They were not kind, not efficient and not running a good business. I got my salted caramel creme cold brew in a snap and was impressed but a baked item out of a case and then it's the wrong thing? It shouldn't be so difficult. Disappointed for sure.

Yelp
Lovely baristas I love how they get to know you. Place is nice relaxing and calming. You get your drink to go or sit and relax on your laptop or read a book

Yelp
Yelp has been acting up lately. I've added this Starbucks in a few times now . This is for the Starbucks at Terminal B post security and next to Champps Americana. It used to be a Hudson News until 6 or 7 months ago. Anyways, this is a nice little option for a grab and go before your flight. No seating is available, but gates 40-47 are just a few minutes away. Believe they open at 5 and close at 10 in the evening. For my recent visit grabbed a iced coffee with a red eye ( shot of espresso) and a cup of oatmeal. The young lady behind the register caught me taking a few photos and adding them in. She said, if I'd known you were taking photos I would have smiled more. Busted! All three of the folks that work here, ( at Terminal B once again) are fast an efficient. The best option for caffeine in this area. And service with a smile. Nice way to start the day.

Yelp
The service at this starbucks was just bad. Very slow line, lots of people waiting to order and to get their order.

Jessica B.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. Worst Starbucks ever. Ordered ahead for a nitro cold brew. It was about 1/2 inch of coffee with all foam and they told me that's just how nitro is and to take it. When I said no (1 I order nitro all the time and 2 I've bartended and poured many nitro beers) all of them started badmouthing me. I don't expect much from an airport Starbucks but wow.

Yelp
This is a decent Starbucks that works. Nothing out of the ordinary in my opinion. I think it's probably the only good coffee place in Terminal C. Price may be spike up a bit but it's almost the same as your typical Starbucks. It can be a bit tight in there and longer line but the staff moves. There are also a few tables in there if you have a bit of longer layover. They are located on the outside main corridor once you pass TSA security.

Yelp
By far the WORST 'bucks I've been to ! 1) I was rudely informed they don't stock matcha 2) I was taking aback by the bickering employees, who were telling each other to "shush and do your work" and other rude things . 3) they told me that I couldn't use my Starbucks rewards at their location...harshly. 4) the drink was awful! It tasted like water and Splenda. I threw the whole thing in the garbage I'm not sure if it's the airport vibes or what, but this was a major no for me.

Miguel M.

Yelp
Service is horrible. 4 workers all chatting. Long line. Everyone was walking a walking. Won't go back. Good coffee in terminal. The Starbucks brand is going south
google avatar

Lily W.

Yelp
5 people "working" mostly talking to each other. No sense of customer service. Worst Starbucks of them all. Took 15 mins for a coffee and iced espresso with only 2 people ahead of us in line. Manager didn't manage employees one bit. This location was in terminal c near security.
google avatar

Edward R.

Yelp
3 associates behind the gates,Rap blasting and 5 customers waiting for their caffeine fix. No dice folks and 10 minutes after opening time gates still remains closed. Really not worth it for overpriced, overhyped coffee. Welcome to Newark you all .......We're doing you a favor by just showing up...Chill.

Yelp
I went to this Starbucks this AM. Everyone was very upbeat and awake for 7:30 am which I appreciated. The barista was fast but the food took really slow which makes no sense!. The cashier was super nice and went out of her way to put ice cube in my water bottle so I would have extra cold water. There were a lot of People working but only two registers so it limited the flow of things. Overall I wanted to cry of joy when I saw the Starbucks in terminal b - thank you ewr for answering our prayers- java moon and all these other places are horrible !

Yelp
These ladies need an ATTITUDE CHECK Wow. They are so rude here, I had to order my drink twice before they actually gave it to me then when I told the lady that she didn't make my drink she said EXCUSE ME?! and then I repeated myself then she was yelling at the other ladies behind the counter saying they were the nasty ones. Glad I'm not coming back here. Can't find hospitality around here.

Yelp
This is definitely the worst licensed Starbucks in airports I've been to. This place honestly is a disservice to the Starbucks brand. They open at 5 a.m. and the crew working was pathetic. No hi, no hello or smile from the girl taking the orders at the register. There was another crew member inside who was hovering over the pastry display case (she was most probably the manager or crew leader) who was very rude and condescending. She was talking out loud and talking down to the girl at the register and people waiting in line that we better not expect to order breakfast sandwiches since she can't accommodate that. By the way, the trick to that is to turn the warmer/toaster oven on as soon as you get there and not wait until you open at 5 to service customers. The barista never made eye contact. Honestly, if I had to work with the lady barking out at customers, I wouldn't look up either. Teamwork isn't practiced at this location. My simple order took a good 10 minutes for them to fulfill. Honestly, skip this location if you can.

Emily Q.

Yelp
I wish I could give zero stars. Everything about this location was the complete opposite of what I'd except at a "normal" Starbucks. Ridiculously slow service, with no sense of urgency at all. Also I wasn't able to use my Starbucks Rewards card because the system was broken? I'd say more, but I won't even waste my time. Go to the little grab n go at the other end of the terminal. Don't waste your time.
google avatar

Sena M.

Yelp
Come on Starbucks, I ordered an ice coffee with milk and then get charged for substituting soy. $0.70 for 1 oz of soy milk is a little over the top. I questioned the barista and she said that was the way it's supposed to be. It's not. HMS Host, quit being cheap.
google avatar

Tony M.

Yelp
I enjoy a good Dopio (double espresso) first thing in the morning. One of the things that I enjoy how about this Starbucks is that even though the line is long it moves progressively! I find all of the staff to be extremely positive and welcoming. Some of the other stores in the airport could really benefit from the example these baristas set
google avatar

P M.

Yelp
No customer service. Refused to accept my Starbucks Free Coffee voucher as a new Gold member. Said "They are no part of Starbucks". Lol Kid you not. Also refused to give me name of store manager.
google avatar

Ashar A.

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite Starbucks locations. It's a must stop for me every time I'm traveling through Newark airport. The staff is super friendly and always puts a smile on their customers' face. The line is usually long but they move through it pretty quickly and efficiently. I like coming here a lot even when I don't really want Starbucks I grab a tea or an açaí refresher. There are no designated seating specifically for this Starbucks but the airport has plenty of seats.

Bert M.

Yelp
The three immature young men behind the counter are not trained in customer service. They're absolute clowns and act like they're too cool to help you. It was laughable that I was at a Starbucks and not Some fast food restaurant.
google avatar

Sasha F.

Yelp
Poor customer service. The gentleman working at the register this morning was inattentive and rude. Will not order food or coffee from this location again. (Terminal B servicing Delta)
google avatar

Alla R.

Yelp
Awwwful... Charged me wrong Made my drink wrong Remade drink incorrectly again Spilled it Made it a third time incorrectly I work at Starbucks in LA so I know what's acceptable and what's not in this work environment... My barista wasn't wearing an apron or a hat, had nail polish, and too much hand jewelry ‍
google avatar

Anthony K.

Yelp
Poor service order cup if small coffee asked for cream and sugar in it that tell me there's a bar. For 3 dollar cup of coffee I expect for three barista ms doing nothing behind bar to do that. I paid three dollars for 50 cent worth of service won't repeat
google avatar

Mumum N.

Yelp
Employee they are very rude they kept yelling on passenger who stand on the line not saying anything wait them to open. They were already late to open
google avatar

Andrew D.

Yelp
5 employees behind the counter and 3 customers and yet it still took 15 minutes to get my drink. It's amazing standing here and watching how slow the whole entire team works. Typically it's one employee that's taking their sweet time but not here. As a team everyone is just taking their time. Not sure how they will perform when it's actually busy. This location is smack down in the middle of terminal C
google avatar

Els S.

Yelp
Every single time (I attempt to give this SB a chance) it doesn't disappoint in getting the WORST customer service at 6am connections. This place is in need for some MAJOR customer service training. Starting with everyone's attitude, talk to your customers when they approach you at the cash register - don't just stare in blank space. Mind you there's probably one barista who at least looks like they want to be there - the rest are just so awful.
google avatar

Lauren E.

Yelp
Incredibly hard to find and service was not very fast. It's the only decent coffee in Terminal C, and it's hiding downstairs. There's some merch set up if you need an New York mug (which I was on the hunt for as I forgot in the city) so that was a plus. There's a few tables too if you want to sit for a bit. Not the best Starbucks, but definitely not the worst.

Natasha D.

Yelp
Starbucks at terminal B post security, really slow service, only two employees and a lot of costumers, both employees had a bad actitud, I order a strawberry açaí and when a told her with little ice please, the cashier kept mumbling under her breath and rolling her eyes back, and the other lady was such a mess, she made other people's orders that came after my before mine, I mean if they don't like their job it's not my fault but they should learn how to treat costumers, terrible service.

Miguel A.

Yelp
Terrible customer service, needs training because can not make a correct order. Work ethic was horrific

Nicole D.

Yelp
Very unprofessional staff. 2 staff members were sitting and loudly arguing with what seemed to be the manager. 3 ppl standing at register, no one greeted me. Had to ask if I could order. Asked for my drink to be fixed, worker didn't even look at me and grabbed drink from hand. Have been in industry for a very long time, no professionalism.
