Hadn't stopped at this Starbucks before . They are so friendly and have great customer service. The barrista was amazing. Caramel Macchiato was yummy. Chill atmosphere folks + kiddos on their computers/phones taking a break. This will be my Starbucks from now on!!

Speechless!!!!! I could be on here all day talking about how great and welcoming these guys are. It’s 7:48am on a Tuesday the 12th and the ambiance is so sweet, the guys are very welcoming. They treat you like a human being. They treat like you’re Gods favorite that’s the best way I can put it! This isn’t only today. I’ve been coming to this location for more than one year and it’s always been a pleasure but the last couple of months have been heaven.

The drinks here never tastes as good as other starbucks. Today I got their new lavendar foam matcha latte. I also ordered the same drink a few days ago at another starbucks. The drink here was a 3/10. Doesnt taste that good and doesnt look like there is lavender cream. Also the drinks are prepared in paper cups. This is fine for hot but the cold needs compostable plastic. You can taste the paper in the iced drink.

Fast mobile order. This Starbucks is open later than a lot of the ones in Oakland. We went here because the one on Telegraph that was supposed to be open until 8pm was closed at 6pm. The baristas were really nice, and the drinks were well made. Good stock of whole bean coffee available. It's a little difficult to get back on to 880S.

No one responded when coming to pickup. They ignored clients even though trying talking and saying thank you to them, only the janitor said hello when just getting into the door. So weird!

Sunday morning, line of 10 due to poor management. Understaffed. And this not to blame the manager who maybe only has allowance for three employees per shift, but if you own this store, you are failing! High volume of online orders and only three people are not enough! Praise to the employees, I hope their union supports them in changing this awful practices.

This how the new and Renewed Fruitvale Starbucks location, Love it, everything is so modern and updated.

Love this location! Always a must stop at this little oasis off the freeway after work. Their drinks are always made to order and I enjoy trying a new snack when I want to switch it up. I put 2 stars for atmosphere ONLY because the last few times I've been in there, it has been almost unbearably hot. I usually like to bring my book and stay for a while, but lately I have been leaving as soon as I get my drink and food. The staff and music is always on point, so when the heating issue gets fixed, it's a 5/5 all around for me.

Best Starbucks locations 10/10 nice quiet place to study and family friendly place. The staff are friendly and nice. Waiting on your drink doesn't take long.

please fix the business hours... I came in thinking it would be closed at 7pm, only to find out in store that they're closed at 9pm!

So normally I love this Starbucks but today I am sadly disappointed...they pretty much were rude and it not as personal like they normally are... granted they were lacking my favorite staff member but still. It was totally uncalled for because they were out of everything! The girl who ordered ahead of me asked for a medicine ball boo explanation just nope we don't have it... she asked for other tea options and the lady just points and she's like umm what do you have can you tell me I can't see the teas from here. It was just a mess. Then they give me my cold brew with no ice and when we said thank you the staff just turns their backs on us mind you I didn't even complain to them about anything just took my nasty little drink and left. Next time I will order ahead so that I don't have to be disappointed.

Today. No Bueno. It's early in the morning the store is clean. I got partially greeted when I walked in but there was obviously conversation going on when I walked in between one Asian lady and the barista behind the counter so once they kind of wind down and my order was taken. I asked for was a breakfast sandwich but instead of them just popping it in the oven which takes about a minute they continue the conversation yelling across the whole restaurant three employees scrambling around talking, haha-ing,and he-he'ing hand about getting the person that's on the other side of the counter who's maybe the manager or owner or whatever what they wanted and I'm still looking at them scramble around but my sandwich not even in the oven now one of them who looked over my way around me standing there looking at her like what's going on inside yall brains at 7:30 am....girl Give me my money back. I'm all for people being friendly conversating enjoying their work day but all that hooping and hollering cross talking not taking care of the customer... take care of them so you can socialize at work. If you got a customer standing there and get them out the way so that you can communicate with each other. All that chaos....

Wow. Usually Starbucks hires people who tend to have a nice personality. Not here. Every person I dealt with over the last three days had a massive chip on their shoulder. Drinks were done poorly and mobiles were ignored. Also if you want a glass of water - which by California state law they MUST provide if asked - you MUST go through the line even if you did a mobile order. No other Starbucks I go to is this pedantic but it seems Oakland has cup issues so they need to track every cup asked for. If I was coming in here and not purchasing anything and tried loading up on venti waters I could understand - but I shouldn't be given crap by a barista when I just spent $15 on a coffee and pastry. If the store manager or district manager read this - it's time for cleaning up. You know what you are doing by just letting this slide.

I came here for my birthday drink. I Found parking right In front, and the service was fast. The cashier surprised me with a cake pop for my birthday. I love the music they were playing. I sat outside next to the pier to enjoy some sun. But I didn't like that other customers were smoking near by me, so I had to leave. I would definitely return here next time!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The young man behind the counter greets you when you walk up and says thank you my friend when you walk away. This can be a crowded Starbucks, but it's in a good location right adjacent to interstate 880. Easy on and off the freeway for southbound 880. Parking can be a little challenging. Coffee tasted good and the store was in good working order today. All in all a very positive Starbucks experience.

The service is incredibly unprofessional. This woman cussed me out after asking why their bathroom wasn't working. I then got kicked out because I asked for corporate's phone number. I told her that she needs to stop speaking to me unprofessionally and she got angry and proceeded to use cuss words at me and also refused to give me her name or any information. I will be following up with corporate this week.

Great service and it has great view near the water plus no bathroom code / clean bathroom you can also sit inside charge your laptop or phone while you wait for your drink, do some work as well and same goes for the out side. Plus if you buy coffee or ice coffee or tea you get free refill no charge come with free water too. if you stay near store. Everyone is welcome here no judging plus it pet friendly and family friendly. The staff are awesome here.

TERRIBLE COFFE, WORSE SERVICE!!!! I don't know how anyone can mess up pike, it was bad, it was watered down even with a shot of espresso.

So I came here on red cup day cuz I wanted a red cup... I did a mobile order and went straight to Starbucks. It said my order should be ready at 9am. I didn't get my drink until 9:15. It's probably the busiest day, so it took awhile. On the positive side, my coffee is nice and hot and I have a new shiny red cup.

This place used be nice back in the days . These days racism is the norm. You get treated based on your race or skin color or race Among all these workers severs,this heavy set vey big Spanish woman most of the time unhappy if not angry-which I can understand why . We frequently go there for our morning coffee and when go ask them for a refill they deny unless you proceed a receipt ,but when a white guy does the same thing ,they give him the refill with a smile seen this with own eyes. If this not discrimination then what is ?

Happy to have one near work. Staff members are so nice. Place is clean. View is great (marina in the back). Parking can be challenging though.

Terrible service came in ordered two drinks both largest and got one small and one large I told the guy making it im on a time crunch and I wanted a large not a small he told me I would have to pay the difference i didn't have time to wait around came outside to my car and a customer came out and walked up to me to let me know the guy was talking shit about me this place is very unprofessional and I reported this to cooperate they need to train there employees better I will be following up with my report

Terrible terrible. This location has the worst service. I come in during lunch hours because I work down the road. Customer service is terrible. RUDE and SLOW. The dude with the longer hair is a punk. If a employee makes a mistake don't give me attitude a lot it. And 2 times I've come during lunch to find they e closed down. Sign on the door "we'll be back". Really??? Wack

Unfortunately this is the only Starbucks in the area. I attempted to add cash to my card so I could get the points for my order, which the cashier told me afterward was not applied, and that he couldn't fix it. Then the barista got the order wrong (again, because the cashier put it in wrong). THEN when I asked about the 50% off for every Thursday order for the remainder of 2023, he said that was only for purchases that are used by scanning the app...the exact thing I was trying to do but he screwed up in the first place! I will not be returning. I asked if he could fix it and he said no, and gave me the incorrect drink as a consolation. I'm very disappointed.

Today (July 27, 2024 at around 5:30pm), my dad brought my mom, little brother, and I to this Starbucks. When we ordered, we sat down and my father kindly asked where the bathroom was. This girl kindly pointed to the restroom, which was behind him. A male employee with orange hair proceeded to talk badly about my father once he entered the restroom, saying that my dad "should've just turned around" and he talked about my dad using foul language, calling him a "dumbass," in front of my 8 year old brother. I can say FOR SURE my family will never return to this starbucks. The drinks were good, but the employees need to learn respect and patience for the customers.

This is probably the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. Long waits. Staff that doesn't even acknowledge you then serves you a cup of grounds. Awful.

I came in here yesterday and was having such a bad day. I was helped by a girl with curly hair and glasses, and she was so nice and polite to me. She saw I had been crying and went above and beyond to make me smile. I will keep coming back here if this is how all the employees are here.

The staff is great! Friendly! Sometimes they get stressed because they can get so busy! Lacey is my favorite! She's super sweet, remembers my preferences, and is really good at her job, as is the rest of the staff!

This is one of the worst Starbucks I have been to and I have been to almost them all. The staff is untrained,rude and to be blunt stupid. The most unorganized group of circus chimps I have ever dealt with ,,Starbucks has great menu and great drinks and great service AT OTHER LOCATIONS! just don't go to this one if I could give it zero stars I would. So please just ignore the one star because it won't allow me to rate it what it should be..... 0!

The woman w/ purple hair seems like she hates her life and is living in her own personal hell and its projecting by her poor service. Everyone seems to be working hard and despite of how busy it was, the other employees were still very patient and kind. She on the other hand needs to just find a new job, her negative interactions with the customers kind of made the whole place look pretty sad and down. The first time I was here it was odd but it was a short interaction so didnt think much of it, the second time just seemed like she really does not want to be here. I mean who wants to be at work but if ur gonna show up at least dont be the negative nancy around other people who are also trying to make a living.

Friendly staff! This Starbucks is located on Embarcadero cove with some seatings outside with a nice view. This used to be my study spot back in the days since there's great seating and benches. My go to drink during the summer time would be the strawberry açaí. Refreshing and tasty! I am updating my reviews based on the amount of time I spend at this Starbucks. I've been coming here 2-3 a weeks and spend a good 2 hours and up here. The baristas/ staffs are extremely friendly. They're always greeting their customers as they walk through the door. I haven't had any problems at this Starbucks yet and will continue coming.

I don't know what the fck are they doing here, but I ordered a largest size guava white tea. This retard bish gave me 1 large size ice tea (very little ice) and a small cup of the leftover, I guess they run out of the Trenta size cup or something. What pissed me off is this shit taste like straight up green tea with some sugar in. Where the fck is the guava juice in there? Because I do not taste any citricy nor fruity taste at all. Wtf, are they taking at work? Are they fcking high or something.

3/7/21 We usually end up running with friends far away from home on weekends, and usually on the way back my gf wants coffee. It's kinda her ritual. So here we were... at a Starbucks... I didn't go inside, so no clue if this Starbucks is any different than any other, but she did bring me back a... 1. Caramel Crunch Frappuccino, Medium: So, I'm lactose intolerant. Like maybe not deathly, but let's just say one time I decided to drink an entire glass of plain milk, and for 5 days straight it looked like my insides were dissolving into the toilet. You're welcome. So, anyway, why no coffee shop carries lactose-free milk is absolutely beyond me. Hell, it's probably a business opportunity to just do that one thing and advertise the f out of it, right? So, I've had my fair share of soy-based coffee drinks, and sometimes almond milk based. Almond is nearly always horrible, but even with soy usually it tastes different. Not this time! I couldn't taste a trace of soy milk, and my toilet water was normal afterwards! And yes, it's a mutha f'in frap, so..... mmmm mmm.... total waste of the morning's calorie burner, but whateverz. 10/10 5/5 just cuz it was one of the best lactose-free coffee drinks I've had! #oakland #coffee #lactosefree #lactosefreecoffee

I don't write about Starbucks a lot, if any. This is an exception. They have a gorgeous view outdoors of the water and boats. Pleasant view and sunny day, makes it a spot to grab a coffee and lounge.

Great customer service! We were greeted right after we came in. One of the employees was very patient on the first customer before me. The gentleman was having a hard time to express his order because of the language barrier. But the employee was very nice and patiently helped him. He even got a refund after they mistakenly give him 2 latte.

Omg the first time i got my matcha Frappuccino look like this. Just 1 pump sirup but very very sweet . Taste like milkshake no matcha

The is one of the few Starbucks that is hardly ever out of popular drinks. Always is good to place your order through the app. Fast and easy. I love it even more when people are waiting for their drinks and I go up to the counter grab my order and I'm out the door. I swear it never gets old.

This Starbucks Location offers amazing waterfront views, great customer service, and they dish out great tasting drinks!!! WHATS NOT TO LOVE!!!! Five Stars because of the chiLL ambiance & amazing Coffee Master rocking in out on bar!!!! [I'm so sad I didn't catch his name.....] It's not easy knocking out rows & rows of empty cups by yourseLf AND doing it with a smiLe but you made it Look EASY! TY for my Berry Sangria Iced Tea with 2 pumps of syrup... YOU DA BEST!! :D

Lacey greeted me she was very nice and I ordered a chai latte did not know they add certain things she explained to me how they made made it step by step. They were making fresh cold brew they let me know it was a little wait which I did not mind they let me know. The bf and I were bored so I mentioned that a new frap just came out; the "Midnight Mint Mocha Frap!" We're both not really coffee drinkers but went to the Estuary Cove Starbucks for fun. It's by the 880 freeway and there's a BuildZig business in the same area. Free, small parking lot and u get a nice view of the water and boats (benches outside). So, we got a grande MMMF with soy milk, light whip and added java chips (they were blended into the drink). It was chocolatey but not overly sweet. You could taste the mint (not very strong) too so it was pretty good. I think it would have been creamier with regular milk but sometimes it can upset the stomach lol. We also got a cookie straw for $1! Nice cashier & location. See below for frap description found on google. worst starbucks i've ever been to! this unfortunately is the closest starbucks to my work and after 3 horrible experiences with very rude staff I just make my own coffee at work. the girl with long braids is the worst of them all, she made my drink wrong and when I very politely told her it was wrong she very loudly and dramatically dumped the drink down the drain and didn't say a word to me, making a scene and completely making me feel horrible, as if it was my fault. I'll honestly never go back here again. toooooo many bad experiences.

This Starbucks weak af bra. You better off gettin a basic drink. Expect yo drink to be bland. No sugar no nun.

Starbucks is Starbucks. Friendly staff good experience and overly priced coffee but does the job. I only come here when I'm already out running errands. This is not an everyday habit of mine so I can't really comment on the other types of drinks they have I stick with house coffee black and it works.

Review #305 - 2019 I've been to this Starbucks on many occasions and service is usually pretty quick & friendly. Even though I've decided to boycott Starbucks for my own personal reasons, it's still hard to completely write them off because I have friends who still drink Starbucks & it's easiest to find a Starbucks to meet up at. I like this location because of the Embarcadero. It's nice to grab a drink and just walk around the beautiful surrounding. I've ordered the caramel macchiato, this was my go to drink when I was a coffee drinker, on many occasions and it was always well made. Now that I don't drink coffee, I just stick to the hot chocolate, it's perfect in the morning and on cold days. I always ask for an extra shot of chocolate mocha because it never seems rich enough when they make it the regular way. It's usually pretty busy here because I normally show up during peak hour, but I never have to wait too long. I'm sure I'll be back here again, even if it's not by choice...

*One of my favorite Starbucks location. How can you go wrong with water view?. Prime spot are the outdoor seating area when it's not too cold. *Added Bonus: This location is 10 minutes from where I work. A ++ in my book. *The barista who helped, was very patient in regards to trying to find out which level to grind the 3 bags of Starbucks Coffee Beans that we purchased through Amazon. It's great place to bring your friends to hang out or even just to be by yourself. I recommend this place mostly because of the view and how helpful the barista was.

Never had any problems at this location It's always clean and the line moves pretty quick even very busy. The baristas are very friendly and welcoming. The drinks have always been on point. Great job! . This is my preferred location since it's so close to my house, but if I ever moved I would still come back here. If any managers/district managers/regional managers sees this, you don't need to worry. They've got it handled

I just got the worst customer service. I have never had an issue before with this location. I come in 2-3 times a week and usually order the same thing this was the 1st time this lady had helped me and it seemed like we were bothering her. She was rude and did not make me or my husband feel welcomed. I did not catch her name or get a receipt as she walked away from my husband when he paid with card. Nancy has been nothing but super sweet and nice. Actually the whole staff is great besides this lady. If you see a thicker black girl with twists and glasses at the register turn around and pick any other Starbucks. There are way to many Starbucks out there to deal with Rude cashiers.

This store is extremely slow. Obviously providing a service because of the amount of people at the store but I ordered online for pick up 10 minutes before arriving. After arriving still waited for another 30 minutes. They were literally processing 1 coffee every 5 minutes. The barrista looked entitled and not willing to speed up. She appeared to have the attitude of that I'm needed so back off because I only have 2 speeds. This slow and slower. Need to order you coffee 24 hours before to be able to pick up at a reasonable time.

Pros: Great place to go if you have homework to do. I normally go to the location near UCB, but this location is closer to my gym. Parking is pretty decent if you get there early enough (8am if you're me). The baristas were standard. I had the Horchata Frapp (a bit more watery then what I was expecting) and a smoked Gouda bacon sandwich. There is a beautiful patio section outside with a nice view of the Alameda docs and the Bay. Cons: Sitting outside is at your own risk. There is a large palm tree and bugs and pieces of it tends to drift over to your table and frapp (that's just mature). There are also jumping spiders that resembles crabs. What the heck. Lastly, there are multiple smokers in the area. But it is a public outside area so oh well....

Im a huge Starbucks customer , This Location has No good energy , all the employees are Not welcoming . I asked the cashier "hi how was you today "!? And she didn't even reply she just stared at me .. AWKWARD?... & I still tipped because I'm that nice person. My drink was also watered down Double chocolate chip frap taste like watered down chocolate :/ I guess way to much ice and over blended ! The outside seating has a great view and the area is super clean !

This Starbucks is just a hot mess because it seems like the cashier was setup for failure or something. Just very unacceptable because their was total of two ppl working. 1 person was on break but should of been back because she said 10 more minutes but have not seen her and two ppl just left without helping the cashier. I have never ever experienced something like that from Starbucks at all. Needs to retrain the employees to lend a hand if they see their team is in need of help.

I've been here a couple of times The woman with the purple hair is rude. She takes too long on giving my drink and looks like she doesn't like working. One other thing the guy with the white hair was very rude he didn't make my drink on time He just started talking with his other coworker. One short girl is very rude to me and she would talk back and not give my drink right. Not sure why it takes a long time to make coffee in the morning.

I really like the starbucks here! It has a great outdoor seating and a good amount of seating inside! Definitely a great place to study, catch up with friends, or just enjoy the sun with a great view! :D Oh and thier lounge chairs are so comfy...I accidently fell asleep for a bit....shhhhhhh..... :D

The Estuary Cove Starbucks in one sense is your classic Starbucks. Two people were taking orders when we came on a busy Sunday morning, nicely efficient. You have the full Starbucks menu, albeit no Clover machine. A moderate amount of inside seating. A shared parking lot on the small side but you can also park on the street. So why five stars? Step outside and walk to the back of the Starbucks and it's clear: a great estuary water view! Enjoy your coffee and sit and watch the boats go by, see the sunset over the estuary, or stroll along the Bay Trail. This nondescript Starbucks is blessed with one of the great coffee locations in the Bay Area. Many coffee houses are forgettable - imbibing while soaking in the view here is an experience to remember.

If I could give this Starbucks Zero stars I would. The female cashier on Tuesday evening shift around 3pm is extremely RUDE. We asked for the dragon drinks and mango dragonfruit and she just looked at us said No with an big attitude. Okay fine. But when I asked why they don't have it, she just looked at me said "No we don't have it." Like it is my fault to order the drinks that they can't make. Okay fine. Then she told us it would take more than 15mins to wait for ONE frappuccino. But they have TWO baristas and only 2 customers ahead, and she told us that. We canceled order and left. I have never been experienced such a horrible customer service like this at any Starbucks. This cashier should not be in hospitality industry. The management needs to work more on their staff training.
