Howard Schultz Should Not Run for President in 2020 | Eater

"Under the leadership of its longtime CEO (serving 1987–2000 and 2008–2017), this Seattle-born coffee chain grew from a small shop into a global powerhouse — its stock rising roughly 21,000% between the IPO and the CEO’s most recent departure — and became known in the restaurant industry for unusually generous employee benefits: part-time workers qualify for health coverage, it offers a leading parental-leave policy among major chains, provides paid sick leave, and funds four-year degrees for employees without bachelor's credentials via a university partnership. The company has also pursued progressive initiatives such as pledging to hire 10,000 refugees and introducing more “inclusive” holiday cups, but some efforts misfired publicly: a 2015 “Race Together” campaign was widely criticized as ill-conceived, and a 2018 incident in which a store manager in Philadelphia called police on two Black men produced a major PR crisis and broader controversy; several initiatives have also attracted conservative backlash." - Whitney Filloon

Made my coffees perfect. Super kind staff. Clean store. You guys are awesome! Staff, service, and coffee - 5 stars Location - 3 stars The location that they build this store isnt the best, I have a feeling it will be difficult to get in and out of this drive way during heavy traffic, other than that, the store is great!!!!!

This is my second attempt trying this new Starbucks since it’s walking distance from my house and not satisfied at all. My daughter has a service pet and they turned me down literally instantly. The minute I walked in instead of creating me and saying sorry no pets allowed it was like she was disgusted by my pet and just turned us down as to other Starbucks never had an issue & when you walk in no one greats you as to other ones and when I left I said thank you for my mobile order and they don’t say your welcome or nothing just horrible customer service experience. I’ll drive my 6 min to my normal Starbucks than attempt to give this one another chance

This place was trash. Placed a mobile order 6 minutes up Rt 130. Travel the 6 minutes get to the store. Order wasn’t ready, ok no biggie. Stand there for 5 minutes. I’m 1 of 2 customers in the store waiting for service mind you. Finally a young lady asks me “are you waiting for pick up?” I say yes and give her my wife’s name being that my wife placed the pick up order. She says we’re working on it. I say ok. 1 girl making drinks for drive thru. 3 standing there as best I could her debating whose going to take out the trash. 2 more sitting down in the lobby………10 minutes later I finally say ladies come on! Cuz at this point they’ve congregated into a semi circle talking about wiping some thing down. I say you’ve got 2 orders on the board in progress. I’ve been in there at minimum 13 minutes ( almost 20 minutes since the order was entered online). They than look at me like I’m an imposition to their existence and says we’re changing shifts as if that’s a reason to not take care of customers in a timely manner. The same girl then asks me what was the name. While another stares at me and shakes her head like she’s the wronged party for being called out for poor customer service. Once I saw her face I told them to forget it and thanks for their time. I have no problem if there busy and it takes a while. I don’t even mind if your taking your time talking while working. But ignoring orders the only 2 orders you have on the board for more than at that point nearly 20 minutes! Trash. I know it is a new location but do better! Btw. Ordered 2 cold brews and 2 cake pops……….
