Starbucks Reserve - Empire State Building

Interesting place if you are close to the Empire State building. They have cocktails and some creative coffee drinks and some pastries. I do not think is expensive compare to Manhattan in general. Service is attentive and kind but seems a little slow in the positive side you do not feel pressured to order or leave as you finish.

Stopped by after having dinner nearby. It was busy but still had tables available without reservations. The seasonal cocktails were delicious and really enjoyed the flights. If you have a Starbucks card, you can use it to pay for the bill. Service is slow but it was busy.

Sadly I can’t say I was incredibly impressed with this Starbucks. My husband and I stopped by here thinking it was the same as the Starbucks Reserve Roastery. It took 30 min to be seated even though it seemed there were plenty of tables available. We ended up at the bar with a bartender that frankly seemed annoyed we were there (the young lady that subbed in for him briefly was delightful and I wish she would have stayed). Both of us got the martini flight and ordered food. While the flight ($30) was fun I don’t think I’d order it again. We like the espresso martinis I make at home much better. We were almost completely done with our martinis before we got our food. And that was after someone who was seated almost 30 min after we were asked about the status of their food. Food was sub par. My avocado toast ($10) was hard and cold. My husband’s pizza bites ($18) looked like they were from Pizza Hut or Dominos and were also not very tasty in my opinion, but at least they were warm. Definitely not worth the $100+ we paid. But, it was a different experience than most Starbucks.

Wonderful restaurant! I like the holiday samplers and Olive oil cake. One more thing, my wife got the wrong dish, they sent the right one later and said that meal was free.

Cute place to work, my only observation is that the music was a bit loud. The coffee was great and tasty, the Prosciutto and Fontina on Cornetto is not the best choice to order warm pressed. .

It’s a good place to hangout after your tour to the top of Empire state building as this Starbucks offers a little extra in comparison with other branches. They have wide variety of pastries, baked goods, beverages and a lot more along with live barista experience. It was closed when we visited. The food didn’t seemed fine (chocolate croissant and chocolate chip cookie). Will try to visit again during the day for better experience. The staff didn’t seem very friendly especially the ones at the counter.

Very loud music vs other global locations made it difficult to hear staff, and take a work call between stops on my route. Brûlée latte wasn’t caramelized. Brioche was dry. Coffee flavor was good but far too sweet. Great merchandise. Great staff, but far different than Seattle location.

I came here with a friend the other day for the first time. I’m a huge Starbucks fan and the concept of a Starbucks with better selections of food and mixed drinks is spectacular. There are two floors where you can get foud ands drinks. The upper floor on street level is the prettiest with ltbe nicest bar. The one a floor below is the more basic looking bar and “restaurant” but is definitely less peopley and much quieter so we went to that one. You order from a QR code and they bring out your drinks and food. My drink was the Creme Brûlée Eggnog and was delish. The coolest thing is watching them use a culinary torch to caramelize the sugar on top! My friend thought her Pumpkin Latte was too sweet and the barista was so nice and brought another on the house. However that one was just watery. My friends first language isn’t English so there was some confusion. Just order Less syrup (one less “pump” of syrup is my advice in future. There are NO charging outlets here at all on purpose but I’m pretty sure that’s so people don’t knock up all the seats with laptops. Bummer if your phone needs juice though. Overall a good experience and will be back.

Another Starbucks Reserve on this trip. Located right next to the Empire State Building. This is not the roastery, that's the one in Chelsea. This location has art deco inspired murals, tons of good merch. Decent sized dining area downstairs with one bar & tons of seating. Scan QR code and orders will be delivered to your table. We got a few refreshers. An affogato & a some lattes. Love that there's options for decaf / hot chocolate affogato. Limited food menu - breakfast, brunch, pastries, pastas, & salads. Service was okay.

This is actually a secondary Starbucks Reserve location for NYC. The one in the Meatpacking District is the original one and is larger too. However, this Empire State Building location is fine for those who don't want to travel over there. It consists of three floors and is worth a look if you're a Starbucks fan. As soon as you enter, the lobby floor is the retail area. You can buy drinks and snacks like any other Starbucks. But they also have a lot of other merchandise for sale like mugs and shirts. The basement is where they hold classes for coffee lovers, which they call their "signature experiences". These classes include such choices like how to make an espresso Martini or a coffee tasting class. The second floor is where most tourists will head. This is their coffee and cocktail lounge. It's a full service restaurant. The food is mainly small bites like avocado toast or dessert. The drinks are what make this place stand out. You'll find a huge menu of coffee drinks, with and without alcohol. Many of these drinks can only be found here, such as the Toffeenut Bianco Latte or the Whiskey Barrel-Aged Cold Brew.

If you stop by the Empire State Building and are a fan of coffee I would definitely stop by the Starbucks to either grab a coffee or hit the second floor to grab a coffee inspired cocktail! It is a very chill atmosphere upstairs and is definitely a chill cozy vibe. Everyone working is awesome, the bartenders working on the second floor make some good drinks!

In my trip to New York City for 2024, there was one stop I knew I wanted to make before I headed back home. Every year ever since I first tried a Starbuck's Peppermint Mocha, I made it a personal holiday tradition to order a Peppermint Mocha from them in some form. It's that holiday drink that brought me over to the Starbuck's camp back in 2010. This year, once I had learned about Starbucks Reserves and what they offered, I knew I needed to go! As it turns out, we have it right here in New York City! Good thing I was already planning on going to Brooklyn when I learned about this location months ago! And yes, I am having alcohol the afternoon after a night of heavy drinking at the Avant Gardner. What are you gonna do, sue me for it? This particular location is at none other than the Empire State Building! And no, we don't have King Kong fighting fighter planes on top of the building here. But what you do have here is a Starbuck's that is a special experience, and this was the perfect way to wrap up my trip before heading back to Connecticut. The cocktail lounge is at the second floor. Upon checking in, you will be told that your wait will be about 45 minutes, so make sure you don't have places to be if you wanna come here. But for those who stay, you might get seated sooner. I was seated at 1:29, 25 minutes after I was checked in here, and I was able to be seated at the bar. Right away I was given a glass of water while I pondered over what my decision would be. I will say that dessert was originally not going to happen (spending close to $200 at a night club in Brooklyn will do that to ya), but I did decide to do it after the main course. So, I decided on three things: the flight of holiday espresso martinis, the salmon and cream cheese sandwich, and the chocolate ganache brownie. I'm SO glad I did this! So first, let's review the sandwich. The salmon to cream cheese ratio is well-done, the croissant it is served in is buttery and delightful, and the arugula that is also in the sandwich helps accentuate the flavor even more. Definitely a recommended item for your lunch. The brownie was divine and will melt in your mouth warm. Mmm Mmm good! Now in the flight, you are given the Empire State Cocoa, the Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martini, and the Eggnog Latte Martini. The Eggnog is rum-based while the other two are vodka-based. I will say the Cocoa did come off a little on the bitter side, but still really good to have. Just I probably wouldn't have liked it as much if I had just done that. The Eggnog is sweet, kind of like drinking your favorite ice cream. It is definitely a dessert kind of drink and was the sweetest of the three. The Peppermint Mocha one was the most balanced of the three. There were notes of the bitterness that the Cocoa had, but it still had that iconic Peppermint Mocha taste that I have always come to love that only comes for the holidays. It is well worth the $35 the cost asks for. And the employees? They are very attentive and they come off as a very fun group. They make jokes at each other that keeps the atmosphere playful, but the work they do is genuine and it's that perfect balance between work and play. I had a lot of fun watching and listening to their banter. It's New York City for crying out loud! People don't need to be boring 1000000% of the time! So I live the live a little attitude we have going on here. Down on the ground floor, you can see a kind of gift shop you can buy souvenirs in. I actually almost bought something from here, but it was about deciding what souvenir I would bring back to my mom and I couldn't really decide on it here. I did catch wind that there is a tasting room (or something along those lines) in a lower floor, but I didn't go. It was getting to be time to go home by the time I left. But I did make my exit by going to the main entrance of the ESB. I totally took advantage and took pictures in there, and it is just surreal being inside the Empire State Building. And so, Starbucks Reserve, I present to you your 5-star rating! You've earned it!

Came here to meet up with some family members who live in the city. The Starbucks Reserve is located on the ground level of the Empire State Building. The place was packed when we arrived - We went on a Saturday. My husband and I tried the pistachio raspberry tart and it was as delicious as it looked! The flavors complemented eachother and it wasn't too sweet. The first level is like your average Starbucks, however with a way larger extensive menu of baked goods and 100x the merchandise and things to purchase. Upstairs is their Coffee & Cocktail lounge. There was a long wait up the staircase and when we got to the front they said 30- 45 minute wait and we had dinner reservations so we opted to go elsewhere. I definitely want to go back to try their espresso martini flights - they have a trio of more "regular" flavors and a holiday themed one with their peppermint mocha coffee & other options. Both sound yummy! They also have some delicious flatbreads that the regular Starbucks stores don't carry. In addition - in their lower level, they offer different "experiences" like making espresso martinis and coffee tasting experiences. When I visit again and go to the coffee bar & lounge, I will revise/add to my review!

Super spacious and well-kept Starbucks Reserve. It actually feels like an upscale coffee shop with the seating along windows only and most of the floor use for merchandise displays. There is an upstairs and a downstairs table service cafe. I would definitely take business or non-business meetings from here.

Popped into the bar at Starbucks Reserve after wrapping up our Empire State Building tour as we were parched. I don't know if they were just short staffed or what, but 45 minutes to get two martinis and a glass of Prosecco seemed ridiculous. The ambiance is just okay and my MIL ended up having to get our own bottle of water at one point. The Egg Nog Espresso Martini was delicious. The thick whipped cream on top was delicious. But the service was pretty bad.

We visited a Reserve Roastery for the first time while in Chicago and it was amazing so we definitely wanted to stop in to more. The New York location is much smaller with different levels albeit with a large, tall open layout. It was a little difficult to differentiate what the differences between the two main coffee counters on the mid and lower level were or if they served the same thing. Regardless there are plenty of food and coffee options at either counter with a wide variety of brewing methods available including siphon. There was also a dedicated area upstairs that is a bar and serves alcohol. We had the seasonal espresso martini flight which included a classic, pumpkin spice, and pumpkin spice chai. In general, everything is tasty but fairly expensive. I also asked specific coffee brewing questions for the bag of beans I purchased and I did not get a helpful or straight answer which was not a good sign..

The espresso martini...honestly really good. The egg nog one was reallly good. Ambiance was great and less crowded than the meatpacking district

I was really excited to visit this location. I have been to the Seattle and Chicago locations. Location: This is located on the 2nd floor of the Empire State Building. There are about 4 floors. Decor: Cute and simple. They have you're normal Starbucks feel with the added Winter Wonderland element. We went to the 4th floor for the cocktail area. We put our name on the waiting list and were informed it would be 45 min. We waited about 30 and were seated. When we approached the host, we were informed that they were short staffed. Service: Our server came to take our order. We ordered the holiday espresso flight as well as a cheese board. Came promptly. Tables are extremely small. We had to place water cups and bottle on the floor. After that we didn't see our server for awhile. We had to waive someone over for another drink. Apart from that, no one check on us. No one cleared our table. Servers were off to the side of the room. Clustered and not really working the room. We had wait awhile before we were able to pay our check and leave. Honestly really preferred the Chicago location. They seemed to have an organized system. Not sure what happened with this location.

After an awe-inspiring visit to the Empire State Building observatory, we stumbled upon the Starbucks Reserve in the basement--and what a delightful surprise it was! We decided to indulge in the Caramel Mocha Drizzle Affogato at the Experience Bar downstairs. Sam, our barista, elevated the experience by not only preparing our dessert but also explaining the intricacies of the flavors involved. Watching Sam pour the rich espresso shots over the creamy ice cream was a treat in itself. The affogato was incredibly smooth and indulgent--absolutely the best way to cap off our day. The ambiance of the Experience Bar was cozy and sophisticated, making it a perfect spot to unwind after the bustling energy of the city above. If you're visiting the Empire State Building, don't miss this hidden gem. It's a fantastic place to relax, savor some exceptional coffee creations, and soak in a unique atmosphere. Highly recommended!

After wrapping up work on Friday, I was thrilled to finally visit the Starbucks Reserve. I couldn't wait to try their espresso martini, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. My husband opted for two double espressos, and he had no complaints either. The atmosphere was magical, with the place decked out like a winter wonderland. The energy was vibrant, with everyone clearly enjoying themselves. We shared some delicious desserts and savored our drinks together--it was such a delightful experience. I can't wait to go back and do it again!

Had no idea that nyc had multiple reserves and honestly I was hoping for the main big one because I been to Chicago and Tokyo. And I want to do them all but it was still a cool experience because it's in the Empire State Building and it has a lot of the reserve only vibes minus the roastery The bartender on the floor we ended up at was super friendly and funny and it wasn't crazy busy shockingly which was great for personal service The drinks were amazing

Such a cute spot to enjoy while in New York! Came here specifically for the holiday flights and they were tasty and smaller than I expected. We also got the regular flight so it was nice to compare. They ran out of the charcuterie board which was disappointing but we got the polenta fries which were good.

Great Starbucks reserve in midtown with spacious sitting area. We got the whisky affogato and it was super delicious!

On a mission to visit every Starbucks reserve Roastery and while this isn't a Roastery it was too unique to pass up as it's inside the Empire State Building. Lots of cool merch and they even had a margarita flight with the refresher flavors that you can only get in this location! The strawberry açaí and mango dragonfruit were our favorites and loved the inclusion of the freeze dried fruit. There are 3 levels - the main floor you enter is the merch/main counter, top is a huge bar/lounge, and the bottom is a tasting room and much quieter, good for doing work. Super unique and definitely worth checking out!

You had me at hello! By far one of the most fun things we did on our trip! We wanted to go for so long and we didn't know there was a location here! You walk into a beautiful centerpiece showing the Empire State Building. And then there is a staff member with a sample for you. He explained all about the sample and about the store. We were so excited, seemed like most people were there to drink and leave. There are 3 floors. The main with the traditional, store and drinks. The top is a bar with coffee and alcohol ! How fun!!! And the bottom floor is a restaurant!!! It serves all the food and new drinks, the reserve stores have items that regular stores do not have. We ate down stairs and had an amazingly fun afagato flight. 3 different kinds of icecreams with espresso shots. Amazing. Gender neutral bathrooms! Just an epic experience.

I feel like the drinks here are charged at a slightly more premium than at a normal Starbucks. Overall, I think it could be a cool experience to bring out of towners. They had all sorts of pastries and savory snacks that they wouldn't have at your normal location. I'd skip the latte and maybe try the espresso bar next time.

The Lounge at the Starbucks Reserve is great. It is spacious and the staff is nice. The bathrooms are clean. When I went there was a hostess that seated people at tables or you could sit at the bar. The menu when I went was new and different than the Reserve Roastery in Chelsea. I had the Whiskey barrel aged malt. It was very tasty. It seemed like a strong milkshake. My understanding is that it has no alcohol. I was wondering why I didn't get carded/IDed. The staff was pretty vibrant and funny. When paying, they tell you that tipping is optional.

I loved everything about the atmosphere and especially how I was directed to check out the third floor that had a seating area where I could enjoy the view while my husband drank his Starbucks reserve coffee and I could use my fancy new Starbucks Empire State Building Miir water bottle (-$40). My husband and I arrived on the 3rd floor but the host would not let us sit beside the windows as he said that was for customers who were ordering from their 3rd floor coffee and alcohol bar. I kindly told him we purchased nearly $50 worth of Starbucks items on the street level floor and one of the baristas told us to sit on the 3rd floor since the view was nicer than the below level area and especially since the street level seating was all taken. Sadly, we were not allowed to sit beside any window with a view so in that sense, this was not a pleasant Starbucks Reserve experience. Money spent by customers should be appreciated or at least don't tell us to go to another floor only to be lectured by an unkind host who really should've taken better care of customers spending $50 for 2 items at the same store he's employed at.

I stopped by the reserve to grab a cocktail on the second floor a couple days ago, aside from the price ($23 pre tax and tip ) my pumpkin spice espresso martini was delicious. The ambiance is really nice and relaxing and I got a bit of work done while enjoying the drink. I sat at a table by the window so got to people watch a bit which was fun. The restaurant wasn't super busy so I was seated very quickly and served right away. Overall a fun little experience in the city. Ill have to go back again to try the food menu.

Would've thought this ended up as a 3 or 4 star review, but I'm going to have to give my visit a 5 star rating. We popped in here as we were waiting for a lunch reservation and the experience on the basement level beat my expectations. We were well taken care of by our waiter. When you order for here, it's essentially like a sit-in dining experience. I had the Oleato latte with oatmilk and was blown away by how great the drink was. I was originally skeptical of the olive oil combination, but non-intuitively it pairs nicely with the espresso and oat milk. With the touristy nature of the area, I was expecting it to be jammed pack, but on the basement level, there wasn't an overcrowding amount of people.

At Starbucks Reserve, we relished the espresso martini flight and refreshers margarita flight. The espresso martini flight was rich and bold, combining deep espresso flavors with a smooth, spirited finish. In contrast, the refreshers margarita flight was vibrant and refreshing, blending the lightness of Starbucks' signature refreshers with a tangy margarita twist, allowing us to experience a range of flavors and making our visit truly enjoyable.

Starbucks Reserve Coffee and Cocktail Lounge offers a chill vibe that's perfect for relaxing. The Whiskey Cloud cocktail is delicious--smooth and perfectly balanced. The service is attentive, making for an overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended for a laid-back start to the evening.

Hi, like many I have been to Starbucks many times and most people are familiar with them. I thought this was worth a quick review because it is a Starbucks reserve and a slightly better and elevated experience. These stores seem a little bigger and have a wider menu. I usually get the same chai tea order (which is always good), but the food was a little better here. I had the prosciutto and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun and then a chocolate pastry. Both were great. Service was decent. This was very busy, so not much they can do about that.

If my rating was just for the flavor of the coffee itself, I would've given it five stars. I haven't tried the food so I can't rate that. This place lost a star just due to the prices. Even for New York, this place is expensive. I just paid eight dollars for a 16 ounce cup of black coffee. You can spend over $50 for a small bag of beans. That being said, the coffee is really good. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. Definitely worth a visit, just don't expect it to be an inexpensive one.

At around 12:30 we popped in this Starbucks because we really just wanted to try the special menu and get a cocktail. First we went upstairs and put our names on a wait and we're told 45-60 minutes and gave our phone number. We then explored downstairs where there was no wait but we were told there was less stuff so we just sat at a table and ordered some special coffees since we both were stuffing from caffeine headaches. I got the eggnog creme brulee latte and my husband got the cold brew malt. The drinks took like 30 minutes and hich had me stressed for our reservation but they were delicious. We were told our barista would come by for payment but no one did so my husband went up and was able to pay at the bar. After that we walked around a little and when it was definitely over an hour we went upstairs to check in our reservation. The guy was very nice and I got the impression our number was lost and we weren't getting called but he remembered us immediately and sat us. We waited for about 29 minutes before we asked the host if someone was gonna come around. He then went to one of the servers behind us and asked her to take us. She was nice and took our order right away. I got the holiday express I martini flight and my husband got the whiskey cloud and we got the pizza bites to split. Every thing was super expensive and mediocre. I would never go back but atleast I can say I experienced it.

Came here with my family--first time ever for all of us. It's on 3 floors--you can make a table reservation. They have coffee blends here not available anywhere else--including the Empire State Blend. Food is good--not great. We had the pizza and some other bites. No one comes here for the food. They have coffee/alcohol drinks. Service is very good. Umm..here is my overall impression: If you have money to burn, are a Starbucks Fan and in the area for something else--come here and relax--you will enjoy it. If you are traveling far to come here, expecting an incredible experience, or thinking the food here is wow..you may be disappointed. I would definitely come back if in the area for business or another event, but not just to come here. Also not a bad meet a date spot that likes coffee too. I was glad that I had the reserve experience.

I was on a mission to visit this one of kind Starbucks to try the exclusive Oleato latte. This drink is made with olive oil which is some of the best imported from Italy. If you can find it, make sure to purchase a bottle of the orange or lemon olive oil to drizzle over your ice cream. Located on in the Empire State Building, it's not hard to find and is right on 5th Avenue. There are 3 floors that are designed either modern decor that give you sense of comfort. At this Starbucks you can order alcohol infused coffee drinks and food entrees that cooked on site.

This is definitely the Disneyland of Starbucks with the beautiful and large space for dining as well as going to the other floors for tastings. The array of food choices is by far the largest I have ever seen at a Starbucks. Very easy to find right off 5th Ave. we were there about 8am and did not seem to be very busy and was not congested. The usual coffees and cups got sale. If you have never been, stop in and take a look just to say you were there.

I like Starbucks. Did I ever wish Starbucks become a bar? Not really, but I can see the allure. This my first time visiting any Reserve location and it seems kind of swanky. I love the Empire State themed mugs and ended up loving their coffee aged in whiskey barrels, it was really good; not too sweet and tasted kind of spiked. :) We didn't stay to enjoy any light fare, but the vibe is swanky and boutique-y. If we weren't starving, we might have stayed and tried all things Reserve related. You can always buy tickets to one of their classes for coffee brewing or cocktail making. I think it'd be fun to have a date night here.

I visited the Starbucks Reserve a few days ago and it's very nice. It's definitely a tourist attraction in the Empire State Building. I ordered the new Tropical Citrus Iced Energy drink and it was good. I also decided to go upstairs on the 2nd floor and there's a very nice lounge area with a bar. They serve cocktails and small bites upstairs. I will definitely come back to visit the lounge. I enjoyed my drink and the customer service was quick and easy. If you're ever in the area you should check out the Starbucks Reserve.

The ambience was very calming with a New York flare. The mood of the restaurant had a great vibe with low lighting. The customer service was very friendly. All the staff had a smile on their face and were very helpful with the menu options. The avocado toast was delicious. You can tell that the avocado was fresh made, but they added a little too much salt on top, but everything else was devoured.

The reserve was a really cool experience, and we loved the espresso martinis. The croissants tasted great too, but definitely overpriced. It can get really packed to be prepared to wait in line and there is limited seating.

My friend and i did the espresso martini experience and I'm not sure it was worth even close to what we paid. Of course the guy who ran the 7pm class was amazing ( forgot his name) but i was not wowed by the experience. The instructor gave us a little history of the espresso martini and all the tools. We got to make our own and have some bread that paired well with it. The martini flight we made was awful. Orange, lemon and spicy. They should have had seasonal pumpkin or we should have been able to have picked our own flavors.! The flavors were horrible and the class was like less than an hour. We ordered another flight after the class and it was close to 40$ for 3 LITTLE martinis. This was a ripoff. It was nice that it was just us 2 tho!

This is such a cool location. You can get food/dessert, there's a tasting experience AND a full bar?! My friend and I got an espresso flight and it was delicious. After the suggestion from the bartender we paired it with the brownie and it sent us in a chocolate frenzy. The bar was quiet and peaceful. AND they have a happy hour?!

From the decor to the food, the second floor of the Starbucks Reserve makes you feel like you're at a fancy restaurant. The coffee and small bites were tasty, the staff was super friendly and the vibe was just great. Loved it!

This location needs to revamp the way they do their waiting list. Multiple tables remained unused with a half hour wait time- (see picture) The quality of the regular sized espresso martini is phenomenal. I wouldn't recommend the flights though. We didn't feel we got our money's worth since they were 50% whipped cream. It's much smaller than it looks and you only really get three sips out of each of them for $35.

This is hard to write, and it's not just because I have a glass splinter in my index finger. My first Starbucks Reserve experience in Seattle was pretty impressive. So I willingly admit my distaste for this location is based on the limited wow factor and by comparing the two, although the three murals are impressive. Level 1 is your basic Starbucks squared: to-go drinks (the typical menu plus exclusive signature drinks) and giant gift shop. Get the yummy, fresh-baked Princi pizza, which I enjoyed in Seattle but you can fuggeditaboudit being on any Best Pizza in NYC lists. For a Starbucks fan, there's not much to dislike. Unless you hate pretentious commercialism and people. Level 2 is the quieter, more mature Coffee and Cocktail Lounge, a full bar with espresso martinis and Negronis. (Tell your out-of-town in-laws it's just a drink!). The Concourse (French for "basement") is "a cup, a bite, an experience" (Starbucks for "restaurant"). It didn't appeal to me, but it was dark and free of windows, which I do like. Like a Speakeasy. Apparently they have "immersive, hands on Starbucks Reserve Signature Experiences", but that could just be code for liquidpooping out your Oleato. [Update: The experiences, which require reservations and tickets, are private workshops with baristas and mixologists providing lessons of crafting drinks the art of tastings, and the science of mispronouncing people's names]

The Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building location always leaves me in awe. When you first walk in, there's a gift shop section where you can pick out from a variety of different mugs, cups, glasses, and other Starbucks products that you can't find at your local Starbucks. They are specifically unique to the Reserve. There is also a large variety of cafe goods and small bites (ie: croissants, tiramisu, sandwiches, etc) that you can't find at local Starbucks locations. Lastly, there is a section to order your coffee/pick up station. When you go downstairs onto the first floor, there is a huge dining room where you can order food off a QR code menu, and have it served to you which is very cool and special. There is a third floor which I believe is the bar section for espresso martinis, however it was closed that day, so I didn't get a chance to see it. The staff is a mix of friendly and uninviting. For example, the workers who offer free coffee samples are very enthusiastic for customers to try it. Whereas some workers look like they don't want to be there. Service rate 6.5/10. Overall, if you're a Starbucks lover and wanted to get coffee/food, or an NYC souvenir, I would definitely recommend checking this place out for sure!

tl;dr - Starbucks restaurant, Experience Lounge, not much seating in main store I was originally going to pass on going in but I'm glad I stopped by. It actually has a the first Starbucks restaurant upstairs and an Experience lounge downstairs. If I had more time I would have sit down and gotten some drinks in the lounge. The main floor is pretty nicely laid out but doesn't really have much seating. The drinks are fairly standard for Starbucks.

I really want to like this place because I work in the building and it's convenient, plus it's a "Starbucks Reserve". It definitely does not live up to its name. Never had a good drink at this location. The Caprese Sandwich is a joke. Three small thin slices of mozzarella covering half the bread with three thick slices of tomatoes and the bread is soggy. Also, staff is not very friendly. The place is always empty.j

Really enjoyed this with my daughter, who is a big Starbucks fan. Food was unique and prepared really well. Great polenta fries, olive oil cake, and drinks-all were fresh and prepared expertly. They were out of a few items on the menu but we got there pretty late in the day. I would return for a full meal or casual drinks and a snack. Good vibe and friendly staff.

Food - they offer more food here than your run of the mill Starbuckey. I usually make it a point to go to any nearby Reserve as they do have better food offering. Such is the case when they had a brioche bread with Salmon. Soo good!!! They also sell specialty coffees that is especially roasted for them or this particular Reserve. The empire roast if I may since this is in the Empire State Building. Goods - they sell mugs specifically for the Empire State of mind as well as other products specifically for the NY market. From mugs, tumblers, shot cups, shirts, etc. get your tourist on! Ambiance - i know this reserve has a second floor and maybe even a 2@3zrd floor but i didn't have enough time to venture although I wish I did! Verdict - anytime you have the opportunity to go to a Starbucks Reserve, do so. And also make sure to visit this site

Good section as far as reserve slot. Misses the ball on being a special "third space". No real seats, just in and out. Customer experience is ok I guess. But if the furniture is nice

First time visiting Starbucks reserve location. It was nice and clean and looks like typical Starbucks but with a lot more selection in items, food and specialty drinks. The staff were friendly and I ordered iced Hazelnut Bianca latte. It was one of most delicious latte I've tasted. It's definitely worth a visit if you're a Starbucks fan.

I LOVE this Starbucks Reserve. I love Starbucks Reserves in general for their delicious drinks (the hazelnut bianco and the whiskey barrel aged cold brew are amazing) - so underrated. But the experience room in this location is top notch. Perfect ambiance for a nice conversation while sipping on a yummy refreshing drink or to get some work done. There are always tables available. The one caveat is there are ZERO outlets. I think this is a new thing Starbucks is implementing to drive profit or something but as a regular coffee shop studier/worker prepared to pay the hefty ~$10/drink at this establishment, I'm not a fan. If you plan to work here, come with a fully charged laptop.
