"A Starbucks representative confirmed the location at 630 K Street in Downtown Commons closed for good on May 20. The Sacramento Bee reports it was one of the first unionized stores in Northern California; no reason was given for the closure." - Dianne de Guzman

It's about as good as your average Starbucks, but just a half a year ago they had all of their furniture available to use to the public and now everything's sealed behind this ugly wall that is supposedly for renovations and now there's nowhere to sit and hang out so you can't even use it as a cafe or a place to study you can only merely get your drink and leave nowadays and it and it just seems like an anti-homeless "solution" that just ruins the experience for everyone else

I absolutely had to review this location because of their new Mercato food offerings that are apparently being tested in only a few small markets. Wow... Just wow!!!! I first tried the grilled cheese and was blown away by the flavor and texture. As the sandwich is heated up, the cheeses melt and crisps into the amazing sourdough bread. The end result is a crispy delicious sandwich, guey with cheese in the center, bursting with flavor at every bite. Next, I had to try their Almond Butter Strawberries and Jam on Wheat sandwich. Also warmed in the oven, this sandwich is a PB&J on steroids. They literally pureed fresh strawberries. I can't wait to go back and try their other Mercato offerings!!! A picture is worth a thousand words, so look at the attached pictures, get hungry, and be sure to stop in and try out these new offerings!!

There's never a day I don't come here! Seriously! The baristas here are very social and it's a fun experience talking to new people who come by. I've met a lot of friends here and the Reserve espresso makes the experience even more fitting!

Saw that they opened not too long ago. This place made me smile even if it was packed today being as there was an event at the nearby Golden 1 Center. Actually, most everyone there did not mind the wait. We got to try their seasonal creations. The Staff are great and they even apologized for the wait. If one comes here to actually try the Reserve items, please enjoy the wait. There is an art to proper coffee making. It is meant to be sipped not gulped and enjoy it.

Very hip atmosphere. Makes me feel like I live in a big city even though I don't :) Great service, tasty drinks. Coffee tasting looked very attractive - I want to do it one day and feel like a pro :)

I normally find Starbucks to be acceptable but not extraordinary coffee, and this is no exception but the ambiance of the reserve location and the extra menu options are quite nice. I had a nitro dirty chai, it was good and I would have it again, not quite the same kick as the regular nitro cold brew though.

Traveling, first time on a walkabout throughout Sacramento. Went into this Starbucks. The staff were professional and friendly. There were a multitude of items that were missing from the food options . More than half of the menu items actually. I was shocked.

Nice people, relatively quick service. No power outlets to juice a laptop while you work, courtesy some people setting up camp all day long, which is a bummer. Otherwise it's stayed nice and clean since it opened, which is great.
