This is my favorite Starbucks throughout San Diego. Ryan who is the supervisor is amazing. He keeps the Starbucks very clean he’s Professional, polite, Courteous. He make sure his staff gets your order right…I love it. Also I want to give thanks and warm appreciation to Adeline. She is AMAZING. And because of them both, is why I always show up after work, during the weekends whenever I wanna feel like I’m in a good place where I'm always welcome. this is a place to be.. This Starbucks on Miramar Rd across from the base ALWAYS hires the best people. Thanks Guys!!!

Very friendly staff, so nice & quiet atmosphere, it's not my daily place to use but I enjoyed this cosy place.

This is a great Starbucks to stop by. It has been here for a long time but always seems to be renovated and clean inside. It's somewhat small compared to other Starbucks, but there is a decent amount of seating inside and some outdoor seating in front and on the side of the building. The drive-through is the way to go! This Starbucks also has restrooms for customers. Staff was super friendly. It can be hard to find parking around this lot. Easy mid day, but if it's busy at the nearby restaurants, you may have to park on the nearby side street or around back of the buildings in the same lot.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this Starbucks. From the moment I walked in, the energy was off, and it only got worse. There was a woman working the counter wearing a mask and glasses who was unbelievably rude for no reason. Instead of greeting customers or offering basic courtesy, she acted like helping anyone was an inconvenience. Her tone was dismissive, she rushed me while ordering, and she seemed irritated even answering a simple question. Because of her horrible service I would advise anyone to not go to this location. She should be in the back making drinks since she hates her job so much.

I had an excellent Customer expirence with the young barista (Hope Severino) she was so kind and hard working and helped me out through everything and helping me get the drink “banana cold foam matcha” drink and helped me set up with rewards! It was perfect definitely coming here daily!

My work is down the street from this Starbucks and I always drive by it. Today was the first and last time I will order from the drive thru, I wish I had more time to ask them to replace my drink but I needed to get to work. Unfortunately my drink is so bad, where’s the matcha? It just tastes like lavender cream 😢

I recently swung by a Starbucks drive-through and was pleasantly surprised by their custom St. Patrick's Day menu. As someone who loves seasonal drinks, I was excited to see new options to try out. The staff at the drive-through were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience seamless. Even though it was a busy afternoon, my order was ready quickly and accurately. Overall, I had a great experience at Starbucks and would recommend their St. Patrick's Day menu to anyone looking for a festive treat.

One of my favorite Starbucks locations! Seems like everything I want is always in stock, they move through lines quickly, and make drinks/food well. I do usually go quite early in the morning when I go to this location, but nonetheless I always have a great experience. Staff is also very friendly and kind, again especially for how early I am there!

This might be the 3rd time that I have got a drink with half foam and half my drink. This is terrible

Had to write another review because I love coming to this location mainly because the vibe is always clean and organized in this spot, Lindsey and Tony were also on their "A" game as always with their service and great personalities, I had a rough day and their positive energy lifted me up again, thanks for that guys oh and the Doppio was on point with the little mini scones so good, I needed that boost before I hit my last meeting. Appreciate this location and the staff you all are always AMAZING!!!! Thank you. Joey C

I always have a good experience at this Starbucks, it is not over the top but I can't complain as it is on par with many locations. The staff are friendly and welcome you in. I come here when my car is being worked on or I need to meet with someone near by. Today I got a bagel and cream cheese and though it is not a "bagel shop" it did hit the spot. The store is decorated in holiday and stars, but there are frames around with art decorated to celebrate Miramar San Diego. Again overall I say this is a good spot, nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about either. I have seen so many Starbucks with 3 star ratings on yelp it seems, unless the staff are stellar, this is par for the course.

I ordered an impossible breakfast sandwich and they gave it to me ice cold so I went up to ask if I can get it warmed up and they said yes they will and they did absolutley nothing. there nice but how do you forget to warm up a sandwich that's meant to be warm.

Finally visiting this Starbucks when I'm not in a rush and can hang for a bit. Amply stocked shelves with reusable stuff and San Diego swag for those who collect or gift. Friendly and helpful baristas, the fall offerings are here now. There's a nice homey vibe, and they are playing yacht rock right now lol. Interesting because the kids behind the bar seem to be all under 30. Those in charge of this sbucks have rocks to color for fun and index cards to write a nice encouraging note you can leave or take. Barista-made menu on the board outside. Fun but pricey drinks. Take note though that this location closes early. Don't expect to cruise by beyond 1800 and get your fix.

Taylor was rude. I hope I'm reviewing the one right off the exit. Employees were laughing the whole time I ordered, when I mentioned it she said now they are 'scared to laugh' in a sarcastic tone. I don't get it last time I checked when someone's ordering you should probably pay attention to them and also if you're on the speaker, you could mute it if you're laughing, you don't have to deliberately show that you're not paying attention. A Starbucks coffee is now 6 to 8 dollars. I'm going to you supposedly for service and the quality and if I don't receive good service, I'm out. I don't even think I'm doing Starbucks anymore so thank you Taylor. It will actually save me a lot of money in the long run and I will start supporting local.

This is one of the worst Starbucks I've been too. Drive thru takes at least 10-15 minutes. When I have come inside to pick up a mobile order it took 25 minutes!!! What's the point of mobile ordering if it's not ready when you pick it up??? I came in today to get coffee for my coworker to perk her up, with 5 employees working, no one acknowledged me. After what felt uncomfortably like a long time I said "Hello, are you ready?" The young woman turned around and said "yes?" I told her I wanted to order, her response was "one moment please". So not only was I I already frustrated that I wasn't acknowledged, but that I would need to wait longer- I was the only one in line. I took a deep breath and reminded myself of patience and the holiday spirit that should be shared; after all I work in retail. Though as she took my order, she made me feel the I was a huge inconvenience for her. Even when I wished her a good day she provided a rude expression and walked in the other direction. When I finally get back to my office I see that here is no whip cream on my mocha and it's almost two inches short for reaching the top. YUCK! Needless to say I will either drive to scripps or UTC to get my Starbucks from now on.

My go to stop when I'm on my way to work. It's super convenient and it has drive thru but it's always packed in the morning. I just skip that line and go right inside to order it's much quicker. Or you can order on your phone ahead of time for easy pick up. They have an outdoor patio area and a good amount of seating inside. Haven't any issues with customer service here. My drinks have always come out pretty quick and I like that they don't put the straws in your cold drinks anymore. I have a reusable straw that I use instead. This location has not utilized the zippy cup tops yet. Not sure when they will start utilizing the non straw lids here. Overall convenient location on my way to work in the mornings to grab some coffee and breakfast. I would avoid the drive thru if there is a line it will be faster to just walk inside.

My daughter and I have been coming here for a very long time. Our most favorite employee is ETHAN: he's absolutely amazing! Today! For the first time, they had a female at the window with the worst attitude. Seriously if you're not happy with your job, why even bother coming in. Very rude employee: makes you not wanna come back if she's at the window. As I mentioned before, two years coming here, lots of money spent but because we loved the service. I regretted not getting my Starbucks on base this morning! Take her off the window!

Nobody ever gets our order right. Especially not the first time but these were so perfect!!! Grande pumpkin spice latte with 12 pumps pumpkin sauce with extra pumpkin cold foam ristretto with extra ice in a venti cup. Thanks so much Miramar Starbucks team.

The worst Starbucks ever. I've been ​ to this ​Starbucks location minimum 10 times in the last ​4 months every single time the order is wrong. I believe it is a ongoing joke with the employees at this location. My last incident I believe they were intentionally made wrong when he brought the correct ones out to my vehicle after a 10 minute wait he was laughing and told me to call the manager and complain he didn't give a F..k....his words. So inappropriate. Time to find something new for my sales reps.

Yo what the hell is this, you tryna save money by giving me a cup of cream with a dash of coffee??? I only go to Starbucks if there's a deal going on, but you know what I'm not even gonna try anymore.

Stopped into this conveniently placed Starbucks to get some major studying in and of course a little caffeine buzz as well. Upon arriving there was already a line out the door. After waiting 5-10 min I was able to order an Iced Grande Caramel Macchiato with an extra shot of espresso and a Ham & Cheese Turnover. My drink came out relatively quickly, but unfortunately was given the wrong Turnover and was given a Spinach one instead. Cashier had specifically written H&C too! Bummer, but I ate it anyways and a line had already formed so it didn't seem like worth the hassle. The drink was as expected and consistent to past drinks from other locations and the espresso shot gave it that extra bite. San Diego's weather is strange from that, that I'm accustomed to where it's been rainy, humid and hot- so thank goodness for the cranked up air conditioning in this place. I ended up sitting at a table next to an outlet and got to work on their free, fast Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are clean and easily accessible near the entrance. There are lots of places to eat near this location as well!

Love coming to this Starbucks!! They are always so fast and incredibly friendly! The guy with the beanie and glasses (I believe he's a supervisor) always has a positive attitude and is attentive to the customers. Even the few times that my order is made wrong, he never fails to offer me a recovery card! Even when it's busy, I love coming here because it's worth it!

Nice and neat SB with a drive thru (which Miramar Road needs). Flag inside supporting the military. Nice touch with the Marine Base nearby.

Stopped by this particular Starbucks location yesterday to grab something to help cool off - a grande Coffee Frappuccino. Even though it was about twenty minutes to closing time (on the weekends, this particular location closes at 6pm), I was still able to get my drink relatively quickly, and on a hot day, it hit the spot. This Starbucks has a drive thru that I'm sure gets plenty of business from the folks working in the Miramar area, as well as the active duty folks on the nearby Marine base. In fact, I was impressed by the honors our troops had given this location, from a map used during Afghanistan operations, to a flag carried aboard an A-10 Thunderbolt. The inside of the building is actually quite spacious, and the outdoors patio is also very large. Too bad that nearby parking isn't quite as available as I'd like, due to the proximity of nearby Savory Buffet. Although out of the way, I can see myself going inside to order a drink (or a snack) if I'm in the area.

This Starbucks is good option when craving coffee or tea around the Miramar area!~ -friendly service -drinks crafted right! -modern and clean inside -ample space with a good amount seating inside and outside -clean restrooms -tricky parking as it can be crowded because of location next to Savory Buffet -drive-thru option perfect for those on the go.. [weekday mornings are fairly busy with a rush, but aren't all Starbucks? :)] -a convenient spot to post up after being in "Beeramar", kick back and chill at this location ;P

My first time at this Starbucks, however by no means my first time at a Starbucks! I mean we go waaaaaaaaaay back, like 20 years. It's my second longest relationship. Today I went through the drive through. I ordered a the holiday turkey panini and the peppermint mocha. Holiday happiness!!!! The barista was super nice! Big smiles and just sweet. I would have give a full five stars, except when I got home to have my sandwich; it was.... a turkey pesto. I mean still a good sandwich. But by no means a holiday turkey sandwich. A reminder to alwys check your order :)

I have never been treated so horrible, like I did today. The guy taking orders in front was beyond rude and acted like I was interrupting his day. I reloaded my card, which now I regret, and then ordered 4 shots of espresso and asked for a trenta cup of ice. He rolled his eyes and said they were low and I could only get a venti. I saw a huge supply of trenta cups. When he rang up my order, he looked at me and then sighed and gave me my total. Not only was he rude, he placed my order wrong! If he hates taking orders, maybe he needs to make the drinks. If Lowell takes your order, be prepared to be treated to HORRIBLE.

I stopped in this Starbucks to unwind a bit after spending some time at Legacy Brewery near by, if you catch my drift. I ordered a Grande Blond Roast which was decent, but it had a little bitterness towards the end which made it somewhat off putting, but drinkable with a touch of honey and cream. The Barrista who took my order was very nice. I used their Wifi to get some work done and it was easy to log on and quite fast. Nice Starbucks, but they need to make bitter-less coffee..... Clean the filters perhaps?

On this hot day, I wanted to drink a cold drink and have fun, instead, Starbucks made me a whole glass of ice and I did not notice my drink

The service here could definitely be better. My mom ordered a hot latte and when it was ready the person who made it slammed her drink down on the counter so hard that the foam shot out of the mouth hole at the top. The barista didn't even look back once it happened and she continued on with the next item. It seemed like the person who made it didn't want to be there at all and just wanted to get making the drink over with. I also ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. When I took a bit out of it, I could tell that it was definitely still cold, at least part of it. It felt like it was either unevenly toasted or they only toasted half of the breakfast sandwich. I think they only toasted the sausage, egg and one english muffin while keeping the other half of it out, and then they just stuck the two halves together. I've never had that sort of problem with any other Starbucks here before, so I was pretty disappointed with this one. As far as taste goes, it's just like every other Starbucks, but the service definitely needs to be worked on.

I like this place. A lot. Natalie was my go to barista until she decided to divorce me and our Starbucks marriage and get herself a "big girl job." BOO! Needless to say, I still have Doreen my other favorite barista and a few of the other fantastic staff that fix my staple black tea latte exactly how I like it. Think it's easy not to screw it up? Tell that to my old favorite spot at Scripps Ranch with the newb baristas. I've since christened them "Slowbucks". They can turn my drink into a Big Mac and fries. I sincerely hope they stepped up their game. #FirstWorldProblems Another great plus about this location is that I almost always find a good spot to sit where I can geek out on my computer or sketch like madwoman. Free wifi anyone? So if you see a petite chick in Nikes and workout gear sketching like a madwoman, come say hi. Unless you are a crazy stalker, then don't say hi. Go away. I carry pepper spray and a retractable baton. You have been warned. Did I mention there's a drive through? Oh lucky day! I had a friend that used to complain about having "coffee bean" odor permeate her clothing on every Starbucks visit. So of course, she takes full advantage of this benefit. Princess. Now go get your fix!

This is a really nice Starbucks location, with a drive thru but also plentiful seating and ooooh that WIFI...perfect for catching up on all this Yelp reviews and photos. Coffee service here is what you would expect during crunch time...fast and efficient. Pastry case here was clean and good of fingerprints...well done baristas!! Damn me to decaffeinated hell all of you non bean favor folks...I really enjoy Starbucks and it's familial green siren laced trappings. If I want a steaming hot breakfast sandwich to stretch my waistline this place is where it's at. Thanks Starbucks for always filling my caffeine void with steaming treats and sensory overload. Good stuff here...even if it's hard to tell the address. But isn't that the point??

This place is packed in the mornings to about noon. If you're in a rush, go inside, because the drive thru is terrible. People drive in from two different ways and cars fight over who gets the righter way in line. Don't mess with people who haven't had their caffeine! Going inside is much faster, more personalized service and plenty of seating. Though I will say that last week my husband and I came here for a quick thing of coffee and i wanted coffee cake, we looked closely and there were fruit flies flying around in there. One of the barista grabbed the danish from behind the glass and gave it to a woman! I nearly gagged, there was a fruit fly on it!!! So I didn't order the coffee cake I wanted. My husband got the biscotti that was wrapped in plastic wrap that was sitting by the register instead.

went through the drive through before performing surgery and it was closed. i sat there for 45 min and it still wasn't open. seems like the opener for the store was late - regardless super unprofessional. better buzz has better service

I would give 0 stars if I could. This was our first and last time going to this Starbucks location. Jarod took our order at the front counter and was BEYOND rude to my husband and I. Idk if that's really who you want at your front counter representing your location. Also don't know if he was having a bad day or if he always acts like that, but his attitude and demeanor were not professional towards his customers whatsoever.

Slow AF! They prepare the mobile orders in the same line as in-store. It took about 10 minutes to get my drink this morning. They should learn from Phil's Coffee. Completely separate service for mobile. Disappointing.

Order several coffees. They were awful and the texture was sloppy. I asked them to remake the drinks, they did, but taste like shit and too much water in drink. Will not return. Better Buzz, here I came.

This place sucks, employees was rude. My order was made wrong. When we ask about the free birthday drink , it seems like they think we're going around to ask for free stuff and didn't make any effort to explain.

Been here a couple times now and the wait inside is never too long, but being a drive thru, the line gets way too long to sit in. All the Holiday flavors are out now. See my posted pic. Great Peppermint Skinny Mocha is on that list. Food available with baked goods, typical treats at the register and retail merch to buy Parking can suck in the lot but if you are patient, people are coming and going often. Staff was nice.

This starbucks location is awful. The staff is always so rude and they seem to have no hustle to do anything except talk to each other. Their drinks are very inconsistent. If you get iced coffee prepare to have grounds in it, because it will happen. Save your time and money and go to Better Buzz, its not even half a mile down the road.

Been here a few times before and after meetings. Service is good, but parking can be a drag. Grab your drink and a seat on the patio. Listen to the screams of the fighter jets from MCAS Miramar (literally across the street) and enjoy the sounds of freedom.

i'm not one to complain but when there's allergies involved, I need to. Being disgustingly lactose intolerant and not being able to digest almonds, I always ask for oat milk. Twice this week I have received dairy milk in my drink. After i went back the next day and told them what happened, I got a "oh..." and not offered a solution. I work and open restaurants and know customer service which greatly lacks here.

John took down the pastry s 6:30 pm and they close at 8 pm couldent see what were choosing and they never call us to stand up pick up our drinks they got cold left there they were more worried cleaning up early tgen tha customers whos maneger for this distric wow never coming back not worth the stop

Convenient location for the Miramar Road traffic warriors. Additionally, having a drive up window is an added bonus. The baristas make their drinks right (i.e. just how I like it). Trust me, I've been to enough Starbucks to know that some of the coffees they make taste like dish water. Anywhoo... biggest concern at this location is traffic. The procedure to get to the drive up window is cray-cray. You've got two lanes merging into one destination and it can cause havoc. Yes, sometimes rage between who gets to drive up to the kiosk closer. Again... warriors in need of caffeine are ones to not mess with. On top of that, you've got folks pulling out of the parking lot or crossing to get to their car(s). These are reasons why they lost a star from the 5-Star fairy. But relax... once you get your Starbucks on... your day will be so much more caffeinated!

Go here every morning on my way to work but now they are closed-I can only think they got a covid case and had to close down till June 11-hope everyone is ok and stay safe

I don't ever have any complaints about coming to Starbucks. This location in particular is very quick, especially in the mornings. Kiddos to a well oiled machine!

One thing good about this SB is that there's a drive thru. However, during peak times, the drive thru could be long. Don't be deceived though. We stopped here to pick up some coffee before our travels and the drive thru line was super long so we decided to go in and get our drinks. Unfortunately, going in took waaaay longer to get our drinks. As we exited, the drive thru was dead...

Desperately in need of a quick Christmas gift, I debated on what gift card to get my mechanic. I ultimately decided on Starbucks because everybody drinks coffee and loves Starbucks! On the way over, I stopped into this location and hopped on in. It's one of the rare locations with a drive-thru so it's a popular stop for everybody that works in the area. When I popped in, there was no line so I moved straight to the front. I had sort of a complicated order since I was trying to earn as many stars as possible toward gold status but the cashier was extremely accommodating. I was able to get in and out with my gift card in about a minute and everybody was extremely friendly. I also really liked the large, open space and layout which makes it an ideal place to get work done if you're looking for a place with pretty good WiFi. They've got a couple of nice tables outside where you can enjoy your coffee with your dog. I'm sure there's a few pups in the area that go to work with their companions so this is a natural stop for them throughout the workday. If I needed a place to work that was convenient for freeway options, this would be my choice! Food: n/a Service: 7/10 Price: $ Atmosphere: 8/10

This location is awful. The barista are rude, and nice so slowly. The drinks they make are never consistent in flavor or/and in price. Don't go here, Better Buzz is right down the street go there instead and don't waste your money.

Just stopped by this morning for my usual coffee and I just thought I would throw out that this is the best Starbucks I have made my "usual" Starbucks. Chris knows my order in the morning and service is always fast & they are super friendly!

This is only for the so called "manager" who is on duty literally this morning. If your idea of "customer service" is "talking to your employees to make sure they charge for syrup every single time" instead of listening to a customer's concerns, then you should not be a manager. I didn't want to pull up all the receipts from my app to prove you wrong that my usual drink is charged out exactly the same way when I visit this specific location before work because I, unlike you, actually care about YOUR other customers waiting behind me in the drive-thru. I hope I get that random customer survey...
