I've consistently had bad experiences with the service here, but I decided to give it another try since I needed a drink. Unfortunately, it was disappointing once again. I believe I was served by the same Ethiopian lady as before, and the situation repeated itself.
After I placed my order, she kept staring at the tipping screen, making me feel extremely uncomfortable—almost as if I was expected or obligated to tip. I did tip her during my previous visit, but this time I didn’t, and she reacted by snatching the receipt from the machine. I was honestly shocked by that behavior.
Customers should never be made to feel pressured to tip through stares or attitude. You never know someone’s financial situation, and tips should be earned through great service—not expected
