Ok. My family and I used to come to this Starbucks so often, the staff would treat us so so so nicely, and we'd bring the small dog of ours outside to hang out with us. Such a nice atmosphere. But yesterday, I walked in and was immediately greeted with a "No dogs allowed" by a barista that looked to be in her early thirties/late twenties. I asked politely if I could order and wait, but she just continued saying "You can tie him outside and order, but we cannot have him inside, It's a health violation" so I went outside, and contemplated where I should tie him. There was, in fact, no safe place in my opinion for him to be tied, for there was a busy street RIGHT. ACROSS THE STREET. I didn't feel safe having him there, so I went back inside, and please let me tell you that my small dog was in my arms and away from any food. I made sure of it. The girl gave me attitude, bad body language, etc. And said
"I told you he can't be in here." I said "But he is a service animal." He was in fact an emotional support animal, but I was embarrassed and flustered because of how much of a scene she made, I didn't say so. Not to mention she misgendered me, twice. I'm a girl, She/Her/Hers.
"Just make HIM the thing"
"Just make it for HIM"
I literally just wanted some whipped cream for my doggo and a small water for myself. It would take 3 seconds, tops, for the trained baristas to just make it and I would leave. There was no seating available anyway. Overall a very upsetting experience. It was that girl with the brown/orangish hair that really annoyed me. Otherwise Starbucks is a nice place. I hope she doesn't do that to other customers. I'm so so sorry for having to leave this amazing place one star, but this girl's behavior is so terrible.
