I was genuinely disappointed with my recent experience at this Starbucks. Although there is a sign regarding parking restrictions, I live nearby and have always trusted this area as a safe and familiar place to stop in the event of an emergency. Late at night, my vehicle suddenly suffered a serious coolant leak, and I had no option but to pull over immediately to prevent engine damage and avoid creating a potential hazard on the road. I left the car temporarily, unoccupied, to deal with the situation appropriately and safely.
I contacted the staff afterward after a few days, and while a couple of them made some effort to engage, it quickly became clear that they have no real authority or ability to manage the car park. The issue wasn’t with individual staff members, but rather with the complete lack of proper management and procedure. There was no clear structure for handling emergencies on-site, and no one seemed prepared to take responsibility or offer practical support.
Given that this happened at night, when the car park was not busy, I expected a more pragmatic and reasonable approach. Instead, the response was confused and unhelpful. For a company of Starbucks’ size and reputation, the inability to manage their own parking area in such situations is frankly unacceptable.
What should have been a straightforward emergency stop turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience, leaving a lasting poor impression of how this branch is run.
