Stardust Lodge

Thank you Stardust staff and Kenny for making my stay a wonderful experience. I have always enjoyed my stay here. Every room from a studio, a 1 bedroom or a 2 bedroom has always been extremely clean. The beds in the 1 and 2 bedroom units are very comfortable. |The staff in front office are so accommodating, friendly and nice….especially Kenny! He is wonderful and my favorite ! |Their units have a kitchenette and a full size fridge. This is wonderful when you want to bring your own food to grill. ||This place is great for families as there are 2 pools available and a rooftop terrace with a lot of bbq grills. Breakfast is provided daily. The kids love the donuts! There are bikes available if a family wants to go out for a nice ride. || By the way, the Stardust is conveniently located near lots of restaurants, pubs, live music, shops, beach, casinos, and all within walking distance!|Every time I visit, I leave wanting to return again soon. We stayed at the Stardust Lodge for 2 weeks, 2 adults in a 1 bedroom unit. We have stayed at the Stardust before and continue to enjoy our stays. The unit is very clean and housekeeping works all week long deep cleaning units. Since the seasons were changing from summer to fall, floor fan units were not needed anymore. Housekeeping was vacuuming each unit before storing for next years guests. They removed rugs from rooms and were beating them with brooms and letting them air out on balconies.||The 1 bedroom unit has a king size bed and a sleeper couch. The kitchen is small but sufficient. No oven, but microwave, dishwasher, 2 burner unit, pots, plates, utensils, coffee pot, blender, etc. The Stardust does provide complimentary breakfast in the mornings (donuts, waffles, hard boiled eggs, bananas, oranges, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, apple juice). You can pick up breakfast items and eat in your room or in the activity center which has tables and chairs. ||The Stardust does have daily activities available (see photo), some pay and some free. There is always fresh popcorn available in the front office. 2 hot tubs and 2 pools with one pool closed during the winter season. Bicycles are available during summer months. There is not an elevator and 2 floors of units. WiFi works well. ||The staff are very friendly and ask how we are doing, how can they help, etc. Thank you to Lizette, Alex and Victor in the activities center. Gaby in the front desk was nice and friendly. Marcos was a member of the maintenance team and he provided education on local bears and waved to us daily. ||The location is great. Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, Target, local stores, casinos and hiking areas. We hope to return.

Don’t let the retro look deter you from this amazing place to stay in Tahoe! It’s been one of our family’s favorite stays with lots of memories made! It’s a great central location near all the shops and Heavenly gondola and has all the amenities one would look for and want! My kids had their fair share of popcorn and hot chocolate! The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, air conditioned, nice shower, and great service from all staff we interacted with! I would absolutely come back and highly recommend a stay!

I stayed at the Stardust for a week, with my daughter, 3 grandsons and wives and 4 great grand children. We all had a wonderful time, especially the children. they loved swimming in the pool and the lake. We were able to walk to the casinos, lake, movies, restuarants, shops. and to get groceries. The staff is courteous and helpful. They also have a BBQ, live music entertainment, bingo, and other activies throughout the week

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stardust Lodge. The location cannot be better. The resort has many amenities and there is attention paid to many small details to heighten the experience including the continental breakfast, two swimming pools, and many activities for families. The staff was very attentive and willing to help as requested.

It has truly become the most cherished week of the year for our entire family – now spanning three generations!||From the moment we arrive, Kenny and the incredible Stardust Team go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. They are always so accommodating and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that every request is met with a smile. Their warm hospitality plays a huge part in why we keep coming back year after year.||The amenities at Stardust are absolutely perfect for both kids and adults. Whether it’s enjoying the pools and spas, taking a bike ride, participating in fun daily activities, watching movies together, enjoying their complimentary breakfast or BBQ evenings, there is truly something for everyone. These simple yet thoughtful touches make every day special.||Most importantly, the Stardust Lodge has given our family a place to create awesome memories, and we are so grateful for that. Overall a great stay. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything. We walked to almost everything including hiking trails. If there was a downside it was the heat wouldn't turn off in our room but we managed. Also, the bedroom had AC which we didn't expect. This is a great place for 2 people, we had 4 which was a little crowded but still doable. Great place!

Pros: Great location - very walkable. Clean rooms, clean pools. If you like doughnuts, you'll enjoy the breakfast. Nice staff - cute dog in the lobby. Cons: LOUD. Housekeeping starts working at 7AM, slamming doors, pushing carts, talking loudly, playing music, and they do not stop until nearly midnight. It sucks to be woken up every morning at 7AM while on vacation and kept up because of housekeeping. Other than the noise issue, we had a good stay. If we stay here again, it will only be if we are guaranteed a room on the opposite side of the building away from housekeeping headquarters.
