Starfield Library

The Starfield Library inside COEX Mall is a truly special place. It’s huge, open, and impressive, and you can access it from different sides of the mall. The space feels iconic the moment you step in. The library is open and in two-floor space, with elevators and escalators connecting the levels. There’s a Starbucks inside, so you can grab a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. Normally, there are many areas to sit, read, study, or just pause for a moment. It’s also a very instagram picture friendly place, with lots of beautiful spots for making pictures. That said, it’s unfortunately very overcrowded. If you want to enjoy it in a calmer way, you really need to come early on a weekday. On weekends and in the afternoons, it’s extremely busy, with many tourists and visitors. It can get noisy, and it’s hard to take nice pictures or find a quiet corner. Right now, because of the crowds, most all of the seating and reading areas are closed, which honestly made me a bit sad. It takes away from the original purpose of the space as a place to read, study, and slow down. Still, it remains an impressive and unique library, and if you catch it at the right time, it can be a beautiful experience

Absolute must-visit if you are in Seoul! It’s such a unique and pretty space. the massive bookshelves are breathtaking and make it a perfect spot to take pictures. I love that it’s located indoors within the mall, so it’s a great escape from the weather. Despite the hustle and bustle, you’ll see people reading and studying, giving it a real library feel alongside the nearby coffee shops, restaurants, and stores. A truly iconic landmark!

One of the rare sight to see and should be followed by everyone as it maybe their culture but i had to admire it as this is a modern type of library thing combined in a settings of being inside of a mall but it is still filled with kids and parents who are teaching and read together with a very mixh beautiful bonds. The youth also do their own stuff and readings. Well due to its magnificent architecture and layout, it cant be denied for tourists flocking to be here and take the picture of it. My advice to the tourist, be polite and don’t disturb the locals as for them itself a daily activity and for us its a trip. The overall atmosphere was chaotic as we visited during the public holidays and everyone was rushed in and packed over. The settings ans architecture was amazing to see as the stacking of racks was very much thoughtful. For some people mentioned there is nothing to see because it should be as its a library and we should consume the materials and not just trying to to get a shot. Overall a fun place and thoughtful ones to visit with your family and friends

COEX Mall - Gangnam District (Seoul) This is definitely a readers paradise‼️ Someone who appreciates a good book, “Starfield Library,” is a perfect spot to disappear for a while in books. It was so big, multi-level, offering books galore. I could have spent all day here. But, it does get crowded since it’s a popular spot. They offer Starbucks inside this library and other coffee shops nearby. This is definitely a readers paradise‼️ I’m looking forward to returning here soon. Maybe get here early enough to beat the crowds.

The library is absolutely gorgeous and goes up to 13 meters high. A must visit while you’re in Seoul and make sure to walk around downstairs and check about the huge mall. There are plenty of coffee shops around. Also check out the complex outside, there was a music festival happening right next to the building the night we went and made it so much fun.

A tourist haunt - everybody wants to take their selfies and wefies here! The Starfield library is one of its kind. I don’t think anybody buys any books here. There are members of the public who use their tables for reading and doing their work. There are also cafes around. Overall, a just-go for all visitors to Seoul! Highly recommended! Thumbs up!

Such a beautiful library (honestly forgot it was one with how big it was). I went during December so I was dressed in layers and a big jacket but when we went inside the mall, it was quite hot with the heater😂 And during Christmas, they have the beautiful Christmas tree! With this, it’s definitely more crowded so lots of people are taking photos, but there are plenty of spots to sit down and just chill

What to say! We visited back in November and felt like it was Christmas already! Such a stunning visit with plenty of opportunity to take photos. Books used are real and not a just for show or decoration. This definitely has the WOW! factor. There is also local shops nearby so you can grab a hot drink and admire the views! Definitely worth a visit ◡̈
