This is my favorite restaurant in Florence. The menu is varied and everything is delicious. It’s a great option for lunch or dinner. The desserts are fantastic and I’m always sad when I’m too full to order one. My favorite dish there is their crab cake entree. It comes in a lunch or dinner portion. The biscuits they bring you before the meal just make your mouth water because they are so good. If you’re looking for an exceptional meal, you need to visit Starfire Grill.

This is one of my favorite places to eat when we come to florence, South carolina. We made reservations for 4 on a friday night at seven pm We arrived exactly on time, and we're seated within ten minutes. Our friends joined us a couple of minutes later, and our server showed up promptly within five minutes. She had served us the last time the four of us were here, so we were excited that this was going to be a great experience based on our last. That would not be the case. We placed our drink order for 4 margaritas. And ordered a pizza dip. About ten minutes later, our waitress brought us waters and biscuits. Another ten minutes later, the pizza dip arrived, but still no sign of margaritas. When she brought the margaritas after a total of a 30-minute wait, we placed our dinner order. The boyfriend ordered surf and turf and opted for a dinner salad instead of the broccoli that comes with it, his best friend order the marinated ribeye and also replace the broccoli with a dinner salad, his wife ordered a grilled chicken salad, and I ordered the santa fe spicy chicken salad. 20 minutes later and without our server returning during that time, our food was brought to us except for 1 dinner salad. The gentleman who brought it accidentally gave my santa Fe chicken salad to our dinner guest, Donna, as I waited on what I thought was be my salad. Everyone began eating, and in a couple of moments, my salad was brought out. The boys never received their dinner salads until they mentioned it after the entrees were delivered. Donna and I were halfway through our salads before she mentioned that hers was spicy, and I mentioned that mine was bland and we realized that we were given the wrong salads. The restaurant was extremely crowded during the first hour we were there, and there was a large party of thirty or so that were sitting beside us, which slowed down the efficiency of the staff, and they were also one waitstaff shorthanded. Although the service was less than stunning because of all the above mentioned the circumstances, the food was good. Our waitress, as always, was just lovely, and it won't deter us from coming back. I will, however, consider not coming on the busiest night during the busiest time.

Very pet friendly with seating on the patio! 🐶❤️ My Mom and I went here for lunch and received 5✨️ treatment from everyone as they warmly welcomed my Mom's cavapoo Kadee at the outdoor patio seating! Our waitress Zoey(spelling?) was friendly! All other staff was warm and welcoming, including the owner. 😊 Mom had the lunch Chicken Kabobs, and I had the Gyro Platter that came with the Rice Pilaf, Greek Potatoes, and Greek Salad, which was incredible! The outdoor seating was enjoyable with the breeze. Going just after 11a was a good time as we were the only ones on the patio. So if you're not big on crowds, that may be a Saturday lunch option. 😁 Looking forward to our next visit! 😋❤️

We enjoyed this place so much, we had dinner there 3 nights in a row and invited friends to go there too. Lexi, our server was top notch, friendly, and attentive. She's a model employee for service with a smile. The food, had Athenian Chicken, Bourbon shrimp and Chicken, was fresh and delicious and the came out at the right temperature each time even with a large group. Gordon Ramsey would be proud. Looking forward to returning next year when we have our convention again. Thanks for making our first trip to Florence enjoyable 😁

Google
First time here and OMG so good!!!! We will definitely be going back on date night!! We didn’t have to wait to be seated, waitress came over right away to take drink order gave us time to look over their menu which by the way is huge!! A lot to choose from for sure! The food didn’t take long to come out.

This was our first dining experience at this location. The atmosphere was very inviting, casual, and newly renovated. Their service was spot on once the right person came along. One young lady was super busy, passive, and unable to assist with general questions or to take our order. The next lady was super friendly, helpful, and patient. The food was okay. There were a lot of items being microwaved prior to being sent out. Seasoning was a hit or miss on various items ordered. Overall, our experience was okay. There is a possibility we will dine again in the future.

Google
The food was fine, but the new owner has absurd charges. For a party of 3.. there was a 22% automatic gratuity charge added into the gross bill total, then a 8% tax on that total, then a 2% hospitality tax, then a 4% charge for using a card. Then they ask for a tip in addition to that! The food alone was $71 but with tax and fees it was $97! Edit: Your fact check is wrong and you missed the point that these are high charges.. higher than any other restaurant iv been to in town. See attached receipt. 22% x $70.90 = $15.60. That was the 22% gratuity charge on my receipt. Subtotal amount $86.50. Then it shows the 8% tax and 2% hospitality tax, which makes it look like it was a part of the subtotal but reflects the pre-gratuity amount, that part you said is correct. And after we paid that bill with gratuity included, the receipt leaves space for adding a tip with a new total. We ended up paying over 36% in taxes/gratuity and our $71 meal was $97 for 3 people. 22% gratuity, 8% sales tax, 2% hospitality, 4% processing. ($70.90 x .369 = $26.16 (26.16+70.9= 97.06)

Had a late lunch/early dinner at Starfire Grill in Florence, SC. They were closed for a while due to a fire. My husband always likes to dine here when in town. We actually went somewhere else, and when Rich found out Starfire was back open, we left and came here. Upon sitting down, he was reminded of the fresh biscuits with honey, that they bring to the table. Take note of video....lol. He thoroughly enjoyed them!! It was my mom's 1st visit, and our server had to bring two rounds of biscuits. I had the cheeseburger sliders with bacon and broccoli 🥦. The two sliders had regular patty size meat, appreciate that it was just enough for me. Yum!!! Everyone agreed that the broccoli with lemon was delicious. Mom had the patty melt. It was a bit too much cheese for her, but if you like cheese, get it! Rich had the Greek potatoes and onion rings. Nicely sized, generous portion and the onion used were Vidalia onions! So we all left full and enjoyed the meal! Can't leave out her server, Carrie. She was an excellent server. Knowledgeable about menu, attentive, friendly and would ask for her next time we eat there! Glad you're back open Starfire! See you next time!

Jeff B.

Yelp
Amazing food and Service. McKenna was our server and she was awesome. This was our first time here and we are definitely coming back. Make sure to bring a big appetite. Plenty of choices for everyone from the menu and a great relaxing atmosphere. Great job Starfire!

Leigh L.

Yelp
Came here for lunch today and chose the gyro which came with fries. The gyro was packed full of meat which was so flavorful. The restaurant was busy but the food came quickly. Overall I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Regina E.

Yelp
The food is great ! It's hard to find good Greek food and the gyros / lamb are excellent. They also have amazing desserts. Nice place for date night, dinner w/ family or gatherings

Robert H.

Yelp
My first experience at Starfire Grill was wonderful (for me and my kids). The staff was incredible and attentive, the food was amazing. I really like the atmosphere as well. It's not cheap, but I felt like I was getting good quality and good tasting food as well as a good experience for the price. The owner even came by and talked with me. In the big chocolate dessert at the end just put it over the top

Tina C.

Yelp
This was so delicious. It arrived quickly and was nice and hot. The souvlaki was juicy and flavorful. Warm, soft Pita bread to dip into the tzatziki sauce, and the fresh Farmer's Salad was nice and crispy, which gave a refreshing touch to the meal. A big plate of food for a lunch portion, so big I took half home. Definitely recommended Startfire Grill

Brendan M.

Yelp
I have been going to Starfire for probably 20 years and was always amazed at menu, service and selection. My last experience left allot to be desired. I am not sure I will go back ,service was poor and inattentive. I paid $16 for a hamburger which was not very good. They had a fire reopened and have minimized the menu selections . This is not the same as the restaurant was before. Ambiance lacks now it's to open and makes for a noise experience. I was on a bench seat and the person on the other side of bench was moving around. It was very disturbing. Not an experience anyone would wish to dine. Improvement needed. I hope they do because the change has been for the bad.

Anne-Marie E.

Yelp
Delicious! Lots of menu options. Sat at the bar & had attentive service. It was busy but the noise level was fine: the TVs had no sound & background music was just that - background. Recommend!

Elvis D.

Yelp
Bunch of us stop by after a bike ride. The service was good. The food not bad but Can somebody explain to me how a famous Polynesian chicken plate from $19.65 with a glass of sweet tea ends up costing $32 for lunch? It seems like you get nickeled and dimed to death. Sales tax8% hospitality tax 3% If you have more than six people gratuity fee %. Credit card or debit use fee 3.99%. What next or did forget to charge me parking fee??

Wayne G.

Yelp
They are reopening after the Fire in a few days. Very excited for the big salads, Greek chicken, and huge onion rings!

Gab Y.

Yelp
I would love to give this place five stars, however, finding a strand of hair in my chicken salad is not appetizing and I tend to get sick from their chicken salad for some reason and it's unfortunate because it's tasty. I see the parking has not improved and drive thru is very slow. That needs to be worked on because I've seen an accident. This place is it built for pick up trucks and SUV's. It's hard to get in and get out.

Susan P.

Yelp
My sister and I had eaten here before. We got the chicken salad plate and fruit about a month ago. We were very disappointed in the taste of it.

Martha S.

Yelp
CLOSED!!!!! Fire in kitchen. No telling when they will open. Wondering if they do,will they have real butter then????? Lol

Em B.

Yelp
I can't say enough about the improvement Starfire Grill has undergone since new owners took over. Food is greatly improved and the staff is top notch. We had dinner there tonight and the young man who helped us was fantastic. He is a college student at S.C. State studying Agribusiness and we enjoyed getting to know a little about him and he gave us first rate service. Thank you for a great night!

Will K.

Yelp
This is truly one of our local gems! This family owned business is a blessing to our town and surrounding area. If you're not from here, try it. You will not be disappointed! All of what you would expect from a well-run restaurant.

Dominick D.

Yelp
This was the second time we ate here. The first time we both had the gyro platter and we both were very happy with the meal. We visited again last night. I decided to get the ribeye and my girlfriend got the gyro platter again. The food came out and the steak looked amazing. Unfortunately the first bite was a shock! It had some sort of sugary rub on it which totally masked the flavor of the meat. I decided not to say anything and just hold my breath and eat it. I became nauseated by the sugery taste and couldn't finish. Sadly the steak was perfectly cooked and could have been a really great steak. I told our server, who buy the way was amazing, and she seemed genuinely concerned. I would suggest that the owner would give a choice on that rub, because in my opinion suger does not belong in a ribeye, in fact, any steak, period. I'll go back again but will never order the most expensive meal again.

William G.

Yelp
It does say Mediterranean & American cuisine but wish the Med. portion was larger in menu. It really sort of mish mash of everything on menu. $11.95 for Original Gyro is ok, the gyro is large and tasty, other half plate covered w oregano fries, not my thing. My wife had the teriyaki chicken & shrimp. The presentation was great but upon further review 5 shrimp, too much honey slathered on we're talking diabetic overload here. My beer was fine but hey it's a bottle, no draft choices. My wife's pursuit for a great Mojito was not fulfilled here. The service was pretty good no complaints there, the bill to me doesn't reflect superior food. IMO only go here if want to spend a lot of money for just ok food.

Lee W.

Yelp
Service was excellent! Food did not match the service. My souvlaki was beyond overcooked! I had trouble getting the meat off the skewer. It had great flavor, but I may as well have been eating shoe leather. The biscuits were good!

Elle H.

Yelp
Food is heat! My favorite is the chicken kabobs and who can forget the broccoli cornbread?! Love the rice pilaf. Service is great. Ambiance is great. I am a routine customer here.

Tyrone B.

Yelp
After a long day as a driver, I only want great food and service. I was overly impressed. I was greeted warmly with welcoming smiles. Sat immediately, and that's was only the beginning. Sydnie was my server this evening, from her first smile and words I new it was going to be a grand experience. Sydnie was knowable of the menu and even gave superb suggestions. My salad was perfect, super fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and extremely organized. I'll definitely try to stop here again if I get another load out of or to Florence SC.

Phyllis T.

Yelp
This was a great find off the highway for early dinner. Menu was varied. Plenty of friendly staff. Food was delicious and desserts to die for. Lots of take out going on too. Don't miss it!! Take the extra couple mile drive.

Cynthia F.

Yelp
Excellent wines by the glass . I enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio from Italy. Loved that there are two separate menus, American and Greek. So many choices! Both menus are extensive. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. We loved our server McKenna. Had the seared tuna entree served rare with rice pilaf and sauteed vegetables. Best item was the sauteed vegetables: carrot shavings, mushrooms and broccoli in a sweet and sour Asian sauce. The rice pilaf was very tasty but I would have preferred plain white rice; the pilaf tasted like it had a high butter content, and I prefer to eat light. The tuna was fresh; loved the large amount of sesame seeds on the tuna. Husband enjoyed his glass of Quilt cabernet and his salmon entree. Served with lemon potatoes, feta cheese, olives, wilted greens, "lots of stuff." Obviously from the Greek menu. He loved this dish but wished the salmon had been cooked a few minutes less.

Jenna S.

Yelp
Come here for SALAD SALAD SALAD SALAD!!!! They have the largest salad selection I have ever seen!!! I got a small Greek salad. It was still a big portion. I had to take half of it to go. Added the grilled pork --- it was like pork steak!!! High protein. The side biscuit was the best biscuit I've ever eaten. Quick and friendly service even during lunch hour. Highly recommend for healthy options, friendly service, high quality ingredients.

Linda R.

Yelp
Sorry this place has a fire and is currently closed..,we enjoyed the food in previous visits, and hope they will open again soon.

Robin C.

Yelp
I ordered the turkey club on a croissant it's the worst thing I've ever eaten the meat at was some kind of fake lunch meat it was slimy and 17.95 I was appalled they had the audacity to call this a club sandwich never again they sucked

Dorothy C.

Yelp
This was a disappointing lunch pickup. This was my visit order under the new ownership and let me tell you, nothing is the same. First, I ordered the chicken salad pita, not difficult, but the staff after opening the window made me wait a very long time. New ownership, new staff. When I was handed the receipt, I was shocked at the total, and then the additional charge for using a credit/debit card. The old establishment never charged loyal customers a fee for using plastic. That is why they were in business for decades. Now to the food. The chicken salad is not the same. It is not homemade. Could not find any chicken because it was pulverized and tasteless. Not to mention the pasta salad looked the same as the old recipe but was dry. There was no olive oil dressing. With so many restaurants offering chicken salad, homemade chicken salad of quality and taste, the new ownership may find it hard to compete, since few restaurants charge an additional 3% for using plastic.

Rusty H.

Yelp
I love Starfire and I'm so glad you're back now and we order for y'all now. I love y'all sandwiches. I love your spaghetti so good everything so good at Starfire I can't do nothing wrong. Everything is just so delicious there and I'm glad y'all are back now.

Chris C.

Yelp
Stopping in Florence on our trip north, looking for someplace close to the hotel, casual, good menu. Our Yelp search yielded Starfire Grill. Greek menu, which we like. Pretty casual place, food was very good. Odd, it was almost like fast food with a drive through, never seen drive through Greek before! We sat inside, both enjoyed our chicken dishes and shared a Greek salad. Only annoying thing was the loud yelling of (I think) the expositor. It was pretty constant!

Stephania L.

Yelp
I miss this one so dearly. Months ago it closed due to fire and I've been praying they will return. If it does, you'll need to try them.

CT H.

Yelp
Everything at Starfire is outstanding. Wings, gyros, spanakopita, souvlaki, Louisiana chicken, broccoli cornbread. The salads are also wonderful.

Princess H.

Yelp
My husband and I frequent Starfire Grill several times a month and the food is always hot and fresh, cooked to order, the wait staff is amazing, and they have an awesome dessert menu. Some of my favorites are the chicken and shrimp stir fry and the pizza dip! It's a great staple in Florence.

Bob S.

Yelp
Did an overnight stay in Florence and a friend turned us onto this place knowing we like Mediterranean food. My wife loved the souvlaki and I enjoyed their gyro. Our server was courteous and attentive.

Debbie D.

Yelp
We came in after driving from Florida. McKenna our waitress was outstanding! Our food was absolutely delicious. Whenever we are back in Florence this is where we will eat and ask for Mckenna!! Debbie & Jeff Dylla

Amy Lauren S.

Yelp
Starfire used to be my favorite restaurant in Florence, so it pains me to update my review and take away so many stars. I work in Florence occasionally and lived there for years, and it was my go-to when I wasn't sure where I wanted to eat, due to the variety of foods and quality. On my last visit, the food nor service were up to the high standards I expected at Starfire. I ordered the spinach salad with the goat cheese fritter, one of my favorites, without the bacon bits. The salad no longer has broccoli or dried cranberries. It was spinach, mandarin oranges, onions, cherry tomatoes, and one fritter, for $11.50. I didn't add any proteins (which are an extra $4-5), and the portion was just larger than your average side salad. Our service was poor. Yes, we had to wait on our food, but I'm used to waiting here- and it's usually worth the wait. I asked for extra dressing but the wait staff never brought it. Drinks were not refilled. I was also with two coworkers, and the server asked if we wanted our checks all together. When we said we wanted them split per person, she gave us an ugly look. I thought I was the only one who noticed "the look", but my coworker mentioned it as well. Starfire has affordable lunch specials ($9.95), but unless you order from that menu, the food is pricey for what you get. Florence's dining scene has upped its game in the last few years too, and I'll explore other options the next time I'm in town. Those biscuits are still delicious, though.

Genevieve V.

Yelp
Starfire is a place that I forget about, but I always enjoy when I go. I met a friend for lunch and got the greek chicken. It was delicious! The biscuits were so good, I asked for extras. Beware that it's the type of place that you see people you know, so dress accordingly, but thats because the food is good and always solid. The only real con is that its a little on the expensive side, but worth it for donsiarncy.

Bob E.

Yelp
Food, service and speed were excellent! We've gone back several times since we moved here in June of 2022

Ashekia P.

Yelp
I was highly disappointed in the lack of service and acknowledgement.. We were the only African Americans in the restaurant beside the chefs in the kitchen, which is never a surprise for us in this town, but the lack of acknowledgement was appalling.. We were informed that Jaylan was our server and had to say her name for her to even greet our table. She informed us that it was another waitress that we noticed previously looked in the direction of our table but she too failed to greet us. We are highly disappointed that in 2022, African Americans are still treated as if our money is not Green! Don't worry, we will not make this mistake again.. Others beware!!

Avery M.

Yelp
Hey Y'all I do not make it a habit to give such low reviews to local establishments. However, the experience I just had was no exaggeration the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We ordered one of the chicken dishes, and it came out dry as a bone. We were perfectly fine with eating it and going about our day. However the waitress asked how the food was. We told her that it was quite dry, and she said that she would fix that for us. A few minutes goes by and she brings us another plate of better looking but still dry chicken. The waitress asked if that was any better. We told her it was still dry but would be happy to eat it. A few minutes later the manager comes by, and asks what the problem was with the food. We explained that the food was dry but that we were happy to eat it. The manager all of a sudden became very defensive and had an attitude with us. He claimed that he picked out that chicken himself and there is no way that it could be dry. Taken back by the managers response we picked up the chicken and showed him. To this the manager responded "Do we have a problem? Because me and you can have a problem if we need to". Never in my entire life have I been spoken to like this at a restaurant. This manager was disrespectful, had an attitude, and escalated the situation. He ruined our evening over some chicken that we were very happy to eat and were not planning on making a big fuss over. However, I would like to say thank you to our waitress who was nothing but kind to us and very understanding. She was the best part of the experience.

Beth H.

Yelp
If you're reading this, trying to decide where to eat, stop here! Yelp to the rescue again!! Searched for a dinner spot, that wouldn't take us too far off our route and found Starfire Grill. It was about the only place around that wasn't fast food or BBQ. An hour before closing, the large dining area was starting to clear out. By starting I mean making the procession of heading to the door but not before saying hello to each table, as everyone knows each other. So it was no surprise to hear the ladies at the next table ask each other if anyone knows who we are, and each visitor the same. Ha! Hilarious. The dining room is huge, and freezing cold. Loaded with tons of comfy booths. We sat, gave a drink order and the waitress asked if we wanted biscuits. I think I scared her because I asked what are biscuits? I might as well have been an alien. It was a Greek place; I wasn't expecting biscuits at 8:30pm. So glad we said yes - they are the best biscuits ever. Large menu. I was hard pressed to decide but also noticed that this Greek restaurant wasn't that Greek. Aside from salads, kabobs and spanakopitas, the rest of the dishes were American. So something for everyone. Ordered the spanakopita appetizer - they are very close to mine. Almost but not quite. Super surprising as I've never come across others that make them the same. The meatloaf was fantastic. Sliced and pan fried before laid atop mashed potatoes w gravy. A side of cheesy broccoli too. Hubs was happy. I opted for the sesame encrusted tuna, that came with a large salad and few wonton crisps. Everything was so good and well made, but the best was dessert. The cheesecake. We've had cheesecake from Seattle to Chicago to NYC and this tiny town Greek restaurant has the absolute best plain vanilla bean cheesecake we've tasted yet. Worth the three mile trek off the freeway for a real meal.

Jack F.

Yelp
Been here before. Will come back. A bit pricey for a diner, but the Greek food is great tasting and ample portions.

S H.

Yelp
Best food ever, but...the biscuit situation is puzzling. Biscuits circa 2018 were thicc, the 2021 year model is just sad.

Allison M.

Yelp
Local favorite Bc it's so great with a wide variety of delicious food from Greek to comfort southern favs with a twist! Leave room for dessert- the key lime cheesecake is worth the fat!!!

Scarlett S.

Yelp
Matt Jordan served our table tonight and was johnny-on-the-spot with our orders and our needs and most of all his pleasant nature each time he came to our table. A 5-star experience!

Clair D.

Yelp
I've only been here twice, since I don't live in the area. Otherwise, I'd be a regular! The owner lady is always there and it's nice to be greeted by her. Waitresses are friendly and prompt! The waitress started by offering us biscuits. These are not your fast food biscuits. They are very good and definitely taste homemade. This last visit I had the Grecian chicken, but it was a hard choice with so many yummy offerings! Definitely a great choice! It's a greek seasoned chicken breast, topped with greek olives and feta. Yum! The grecian roasted potatoes are perfect! And it's served with authentic, Greek Tzatziki Dip and pita triangles! Oh, but wait! That's not the pièce de résistance! No, you must try a dessert here! My friend and I split a bananas foster cheesecake. All I can say is you should, too! It was beyond delicious!

Keith J.

Yelp
It's the best family Mediterranean /American restaurant in the area. Great food great staff. The best cheese cake in South Carolina.

diane p.

Yelp
Well worth the short drive from I95. We were traveling south and like to try new local places rather than chain restaurants. I had the Polynesian Chicken Salad and my husband had the Shrimp Po Boy. Both scrumptious! We sat at the bar. Brittany and Becca were so friendly making sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Delores C.

Yelp
This is a place I would like to come back to so I could try other dishes, particularly the Greek specials and the desserts. Hubby and I walked in around 6:30 pm on a Tuesday night and were seated right away even though the place was busy. Our server was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the chicken madeira and the grecian chicken, hefty portions, around $17 each. I love the combination of feta, greek olives, tomatoes, oregano, and prepare it at home sometimes on shrimp, fish, and chicken. I sometimes add spinach. Here I was expecting a larger chicken breast with crispy grilled skin and a bit more sauce like at home. Instead it was a flattened piece of breast, still moist though, and tasty. It could have benefitted with more tomatoes (there were 3-4 grape tomatoes, sliced in half) sauted a bit, and melted cheese, instead of a few cubes on top. I would have passed it under the broiler for a couple three minutes. I still liked it. Hubby's madeira chicken was so rich with lots of gooey cheeze and madeira sauce. Delish. We also had a glass of Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay ($10). But oh man, the cheesecake we took back to our hotel was awesome. The kind that even though you're not a cheesecake fan, it is hard to stop eating it. We had the turtle cheesecake, with the rich chocolate ganache, candies pecans on top, and thick flavored whipped cream. Even the graham chocolate crust is worth writing about for it was thick and crunchy and moist. The other desserts, I would have tried the Bon Bon, but it wouldn't have traveled as well, had ice cream. The caramel cake too, we both wanted it but it too had ice cream, not good for take-out. Hope we can return to the Starlight on a future trip!

Linda C.

Yelp
I found Starfire after a quick Yelp search while driving down I-95 from NC to FL. We arrived during a very busy Saturday dinner hour so we sat at the bar. I was impressed by how well-staffed the dinner hour was, the good humor of the staff and the attention to cleanliness I witnessed. Plus, the food was so good, we also stopped for lunch on our return trip a week later. I wish we lived close enough that we could go just for dessert - their caramel pound cake is amazing and there were lots of delicious-sounding ice cream desserts.

Mary S.

Yelp
My husband and I split. Filet Mignonette and Crab cake meal. We had the cheddar mashed potatoes and a side salad. We started out with homemade fresh biscuits and a yummy tossed salad, more than enough for the two of us. The filet was a little over cooked, but was not dry at all. I like mine med rare and it was more med but too good to send back. The crab cake was wonderful. My husband said the crab cake was better than any he had ever had. We were out with our friends and the meal was just as good. A nice evening out made even better by the excellent service we got from our server Michele! Thanks everyone

Lori S.

Yelp
I was very disappointed with this place. It was packed with locals which is a good thing but the food was mediocre and the service was not good. The wait staff was friendly but we felt very neglected as service was very slow. THe thing which really bothered me was that the waitress did not take away the dirty plates from us before she served dessert. I noticed that was the case on every table. I think its gross to have to look at your dirty dishes while you are eating your next course. Maybe its a northern thing but i cant remember a restaurant that does that. Prices seemed high to me as well. Would not return.
