This is a place I would like to come back to so I could try other dishes, particularly the Greek specials and the desserts. Hubby and I walked in around 6:30 pm on a Tuesday night and were seated right away even though the place was busy. Our server was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the chicken madeira and the grecian chicken, hefty portions, around $17 each. I love the combination of feta, greek olives, tomatoes, oregano, and prepare it at home sometimes on shrimp, fish, and chicken. I sometimes add spinach. Here I was expecting a larger chicken breast with crispy grilled skin and a bit more sauce like at home. Instead it was a flattened piece of breast, still moist though, and tasty. It could have benefitted with more tomatoes (there were 3-4 grape tomatoes, sliced in half) sauted a bit, and melted cheese, instead of a few cubes on top. I would have passed it under the broiler for a couple three minutes. I still liked it. Hubby's madeira chicken was so rich with lots of gooey cheeze and madeira sauce. Delish. We also had a glass of Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay ($10). But oh man, the cheesecake we took back to our hotel was awesome. The kind that even though you're not a cheesecake fan, it is hard to stop eating it. We had the turtle cheesecake, with the rich chocolate ganache, candies pecans on top, and thick flavored whipped cream. Even the graham chocolate crust is worth writing about for it was thick and crunchy and moist. The other desserts, I would have tried the Bon Bon, but it wouldn't have traveled as well, had ice cream. The caramel cake too, we both wanted it but it too had ice cream, not good for take-out. Hope we can return to the Starlight on a future trip!
