Starfish Point

There's not enough good things to say. It's a wonderful place to stay. It's very quiet and has a great view of the ocean. They are very pet friendly. Warm blankets and towels for my pups. They thoroughly enjoyed the stay, too. The staff is terrific with many helpful suggestions. The room was outfitted with great care and attention to detail. It was very clean and well cared for.

We weren't sure what to expect and were very happy and excited when we arrived. The host (Neil) was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips, getting us passes to the tide pools, and basically making sure we had anything we need. The location is great and the place itself was perfect for our family. We loved the big jetted tub and the beds were very comfy. Definitely will stay here when we come back!

One of the most beautiful and thoughtful places I have ever stayed! Owners we wonderfully kind and helpful. Everything you could think of needing was there including cooking spices, games, DVD's and chairs for the beach. My family had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back !!

We had a delightful time.... the ocean view was A-m-a-z-i-n-g! It was a darling two bedroom- the master was upstairs with a huge jacuzzi tub. The many windows and skylights let in a lot of light so it was airy and comfortable. The gas fireplace took off the chill in the evening.|The host had left a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the coffee table.|What we loved most was the alcove with two chairs and coffee table that held a pair of binoculars and the view was fantastic.|The back deck had chairs and stairs down to the ocean.| |My sister brought her little dog and they were more than accommodating. Even had a pet area outside.| |They even had nightly bonfires in a little park area and provided everything for 'smores.| |I would HIGHLY recommend it!

If you can afford it, the starfish is a wonderful place to stay. The views are spectacular and the garden idyllic. The hosts are gracious and meet all your needs. It is secluded and yet close to town and all of its amenities. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Gushing here, but I hated to leave! Unit 4 was so perfectly appointed, everything one could ask for! We stayed in and cooked so we could just relax and enjoy the spectacular views, then headed down the stairs to the beach for a long walk. The jacuzzi was amazing, and the wall “fireplace.” Binoculars were provided and we got to watch a bald eagle swoop past and onto the beach, followed by 4 hawks! I cannot wait to return. The bed was so comfortable with high quality sheets, blankets, and the softest towels… and everything was spotless. The grounds are beautiful too! Thank you Dagne for being so caring and kind when we arrived. We have a new favorite and it is Starfish Point!

This was not my first visit to Starfish Point. As always, the friendly welcome and offer to do anything to make your visit special was there at check-in. The rooms are very well appointed, offering a variety of seating and oceans views. The kitchen is well stocked and if you need something not there, there is a good chance it is available in the lobby. Being able to take our two dogs was a huge bonus. Blankets and towels for each were provided upon check-in. While I didn't get to enjoy the evening bonfires this visit, those that did seemed to be very convivial sitting around the open fire. Upon leaving, we were greeted by the owner who was on a visit. He had found a cache of agates on the property and offered us a small bag of a variety of agates to take as a gift with us. Yes, I will be back.

There are a lot of options for stays on the Oregon Coast, and we’ve been to plenty… but I’ve never asked about a future stay during check-out at the other places we’ve been. The Starfish staff are amazing; everyone we interacted with was kind, courteous, willing to share, and so friendly. The rooms are super clean, the kitchens are easy to use, and the space available to spend time with family is top-notch (the grounds are GORGEOUS). The trail to the beach is steep but well-maintained, and once you get down it’s like your own private cove. The nightly firepit is something we regret missing out on (it’s ok, we’ll be there again soon!), and we’ll be sure to play some cornhole next time too! Thanks to the staff for such an incredible few days!
