We had very amazing nights. The beach was almost private especially when you walk during sunset and sunrise. They have private staircase to access the beach. We were trying to get some equipment for sand caste thru whole city and ended up they have many of them in giant box! They also have griller and fire place. Good for chit chat and some s'mores after beach walk.

Honestly, my family's stay at Starfish Point was one we'll remember fondly for the rest of our lives. The location right on the ocean along the Central Oregon Coast and next to the lighthouse was spectacular! The accommodation and rooms were breathtaking--my kids and wife literally gasped when they entered the apartment and saw the views and the furnishings. But the hospitality just wrapped everything up to make it the perfect stay for us. Will gladly make a point to go out of our way to stay here again!

We weren't sure what to expect and were very happy and excited when we arrived. The host (Neil) was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips, getting us passes to the tide pools, and basically making sure we had anything we need. The location is great and the place itself was perfect for our family. We loved the big jetted tub and the beds were very comfy. Definitely will stay here when we come back!

If you can afford it, the starfish is a wonderful place to stay. The views are spectacular and the garden idyllic. The hosts are gracious and meet all your needs. It is secluded and yet close to town and all of its amenities. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

This was not my first visit to Starfish Point. As always, the friendly welcome and offer to do anything to make your visit special was there at check-in. The rooms are very well appointed, offering a variety of seating and oceans views. The kitchen is well stocked and if you need something not there, there is a good chance it is available in the lobby. Being able to take our two dogs was a huge bonus. Blankets and towels for each were provided upon check-in. While I didn't get to enjoy the evening bonfires this visit, those that did seemed to be very convivial sitting around the open fire. Upon leaving, we were greeted by the owner who was on a visit. He had found a cache of agates on the property and offered us a small bag of a variety of agates to take as a gift with us. Yes, I will be back.

There's not enough good things to say. It's a wonderful place to stay. It's very quiet and has a great view of the ocean. They are very pet friendly. Warm blankets and towels for my pups. They thoroughly enjoyed the stay, too. The staff is terrific with many helpful suggestions. The room was outfitted with great care and attention to detail. It was very clean and well cared for.

Google
Starfish Point gets a 5 star review. Great accommodations, very convenient location, owners and staff couldn't be nicer. Owner offered us 2 free steamed crabs. And oh yes, in our room was a package with supplies to make Smores at the fire pit. A big thumbs up for Starfish Point.

Oh the magic of Starfish Point! This place never disappoints. Where to start, the staff is so happy there, and it shows. I believe that is because the heart of this place is Neil, who has owned it for MANY years. Every staff member made an impression on us. Everyone was so kind, and sincere and genuine. Matt took great care getting my son set up for success to go crabbing. And then the owner cooked the crabs for us when we got back. Who does that?! Now the property, the condos are to die for. I have stayed up and down the Oregon coast, and this is by far my most favorite place. I am so happy, relaxed and taken care of there. The kitchen has everything I could possibly need. There are so many different views and nooks to enjoy your coffee or cold beverage in. The dining room is my favorite for family meals and games. And then the after hours master suite, with soaking tub. I love unwinding and ending my day there before the best slumber listening to the ocean. There are so many toys for the kids to take down to the beach, beach chairs, oh and did I mention nightly fires and s’mores and yard games! My only let down is I wish I could go there more!

Yelp
Staying at Starfish Point is such a cool experience to have while staying on the coast. My wife and I stayed here for three nights. When we first arrived and checked in, the owner happened to be there. He was very welcoming and friendly. He detailed a lot of the accommodations, and gave great food recommendations for the local area as well. The office had plenty of movies to borrow, as well as some toiletries for sale. They had candy and popcorn for sale too. And there was a very handy spice rack you could borrow from. There are only six condos on the property, so it is a pretty cozy experience, and the customer service is very attentive overall. The condo itself was great! It was very clean, especially for a "beachside resort". There's a small bedroom and bathroom downstairs with a shower, as well as a decent sized kitchen with everything you would need to cook. The dining area has a great view of Agate Beach. And the living area was cozy to relax in, with a gas fireplace to heat the place up. When going up the stairs, there's a cute nook to relax and read a book in while looking out over the ocean/beach. Upstairs has the master bedroom and bathroom. The jacuzzi tub was awesome! Maybe my only complaint about the entire condo is that the bed in our master bedroom wasn't the most comfortable, but I also admit I can be picky about my mattress. Immediately when leaving the room, there's a long flight of decently maintained stairs leading out to Agate Beach. Be prepared to wade through some shallow water to get out to the beach proper! At the top of the stairs is a patio area with barstools to sit at and enjoy. Every night, there is a small campfire and complimentary s'mores. We never saw anyone else out at it, but the wife and I enjoyed relaxing by it for a couple of nights. They have a great park-like area to walk your dog by the campfire (the condos are dog friendly!) There looked to be some horseshoe pits and some other outdoor games you could play too. The paths are all well maintained and the landscaping is pretty. Location wise, Starfish Point is close to perfect. Just outside of town, so very nearby stores and restaurants. You're right down the road from the lighthouse and a 9 hole golf course. And of course, you have Agate Beach right there to walk to! It is just off 101, so you would deal with some road noise if you're out in the park area (which is closer to 101), but you can't hear anything from your condo. 10/10 experience to be had at starfish point, I would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Lovely spot on the Oregon coast! Rooms were as described. Clean and views are amazing. I would recommend comfier living room furniture : ) But otherwise it was all good.

Yelp
Lovely location in any weather. Caught a big winter rain storm and a bright sunny day. Place was well appointed, super clean, spacious, up to date and everything worked great. Sufficient parking. Check in process was superb and smooth. Great personalities! We will definitely be back to this wonderful place.

Yelp
This place was so nice! I can't say enough. We ended up meeting the owner and he was so great, friendly and made the stay much more fun! Met up with friends there and the corn hole, roasting marshmallows and ladder ball was such a fun idea! Love it! I love that you can borrow games and movies when you aren't exploring the beach. I would stay again if we find ourselves in Newport! :)

Yelp
We stayed here for my sisters 60th birthday and we rented two rooms for the weekend. It was so much fun it's great that they have full kitchens so you can go grocery shopping and make some meals there so you don't have to spend so much going out to eat each day. The walk to the ocean is lovely and the views are amazing. We thought the owner was incredibly sweet and kind. We are looking forward to coming back again soon.

Yelp
Beware if you recently made reservations. Starfish point cancelled my reservation and will not return my deposit. They cannot rent their units out for at least the next 30 days due to a county wide ordinance. After two phone calls and an email to inquire about when I would get a refund they told me they will NOT refund my deposit. They said it was the "owner's decision to not refund deposits". Instead of returning deposits they plan to mail out vouchers that can be use within a year. I do not want a voucher. A voucher is not the same as returning your money. I would like my money back. I had to call my credit card company and protest the payment.
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
I will not rent here. I had a trip planned, but had to cancel because I was notified an hour before leaving that my children had been exposed to COVID at daycare and we had to quarantine. I called and emailed Starpoint to cancel and explained why we had to cancel. They told me that they are charging the full amount and immediately charged my card. They can now rerent this room on a holiday weekend for the full amount. A windfall for the hotel. I would never treat my clients this way and cannot support such bad business practices. If you book this place, make sure you have insyance since they won't allow you to cancel and will make twice the money on the room by rebooking!

Yelp
My husband and I just finished a wonderful 4 night stay in this hidden gem on the Oregon coast! I can't say enough nice things about this 2-bedroom condo with a fully furnished kitchen. There is an awesome captain's nook to watch the ocean and a fireplace to enjoy. The unit was immaculate! Both bedrooms were very comfortable! The jacuzzi tub was definitely awesome! The staff was VERY helpful and even helped carry a suitcase to the unit. We cannot wait to return soon!

Yelp
Beautiful location on the Oregon coast, amazing views of the beach. Staff was extremely friendly, courteous, efficient, smiling and waving every time you encountered them on the site. The property is beyond anything I expected, it was gorgeous and would definitely stay here again. My only regret is not booking a longer stay.

Yelp
I've been to a few beach hotels in the past (never a condo). You get a decent view, but the room is old and smells like the underside of a pirate's barnacled booty. Starfish Point couldn't farther from that experience. The condo is in perfect shape and fitted with most everything you need. The view is spectacular. The little nook with the 3-window view is my favorite spot in the condo. One note- at least for the condo I was in - the master bedroom does not have a door and has an opening to the room similar to a loft. If you are looking for a little privacy at night, you may have to be extra quiet or leave the champagne at home ;) Talia was extremely friendly and accommodating. She saw me unpacking stuff for my kid and asked if we need a pack and play or a high chair. When you book your stay, ask them what they have - it can make your packing for the trip a little easier. Not only is the condo great, but the grounds are awesome as well. They have a deck/bar sitting area with another great view. Additionally, they have a nice little grassy area that has lawn games and a fire pit that they light every night. This isn't just a place to plop your head to sleep at night. It's an experience, and it's worth every cent!

Yelp
The property is Amazing! Unfortunately the manager is terrible! After posting a really positive review on Booking.com the manager chased us down while packing up our car to checkout because he wanted a perfect review! It was insane and inappropriate! He showed us our review and told us that he thought the site made a mistake. I DID rate the value as 3/4. Other than this contact with the manager everything was delightful.

William D.

Yelp
We booked and paid for two nights. During our first night, I had a medical emergency causing us to leave before dawn for emergency room visit. I called Starfish point as early as possible to explain the hurried departure. I waited but dismayed that no refund was given. I just called asking about why. I was told their policy was to not give refunds no matter the issue. This is unacceptable under the circumstances! Rating of "ZERO"

Yelp
Stayed here last minute and was treated like family! Beautiful place with awesome Beach Front and views! So much for the price! Had an amazing relaxing time... Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Newport! Aaron and Darcie are the best hosts ever. So sweet and kind! Thank you for the best weekend!

Yelp
Our favorite place to stay when visiting Newport, Oregon! Truly a relaxing atmosphere. Great hospitality, accommodations and location. You will not be disappointed with any room you choose. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This place is fantastic! Aaron is so helpful and friendly! He is flexible and checks on you to ensure safe arrival. The condo is spacious, well appointed with helpful and thoughtful additions. There were make up wipes as well as dark hand towels for make up removal. The space has an incredible view and Aaron provides evening festivities for the whole family! There are thoughtful details like pens for driftwood to leave a keepsake behind. Exceptionally clean, beach toys for the kids, candles around the GIANT jacuzzi in master suite, accessible beach, coffee pot and coffee necessities, several different outdoor seating areas ...I literally cannot day enough about the wonderful experience there!! Will surely be back!!

Tatiana B.

Yelp
We stayed at the gorgeous StarFish for our 10 year anniversary. It was the best hotel we ever stayed at on the coast. The views were to die for! The condo was homey, clean, spacious and just amazing all around! Our unit had 2 large bedrooms with baths, jacuzzi, 2 balconies, a full kitchen with EVERYTHING in it (even measuring cups!), gorgeous dining room, living room with cozy fire place ... i just don't have enough good words to describe it all! Aaron and staff were great! The courtyard was very nice: fire-pit area set up with all the s'mores fixtures on the house. We just couldn't help but feel at home for the entire duration of our mini-vacation. Will have to always stay here every time we go to the coast now! If you want to experience a true 5 star hotel, stay here!

Yelp
I had the best experience here. It was off-season, the management was on vacation, and the owner was looking after the place. He gave me a great rate on probably the best unit in the place (#5?). It was basically a townhome with master bedroom in a sort of a loft style, extra bedroom downstairs. The views were stupid-beautiful. Hit the whirlpool tub, crashed, and woke up to the most beautiful sunrise over the point out my window. The owner recommended coffee across the street, which was tasty. If you play/sing a song on their little stage, you get a free drink. I should have, but I figured it was too early to put them through that. I can't speak for the regular season or the normal management, but if they behave anything like what I experienced, this place is the best. Decent rates, AWESOME views, etc etc.

Yelp
Our first trip on the coast and had the puppy along. Booked 2 nights into unit #1. There was a distinct smell of bacon lingering in the kitchen, but otherwise the unit was clean. The furnishings and cabinetry feel dated and need updating. Kitchen especially. The wicker chairs ' arms in the ocean viewing niche were scratched and gouged. The stairs to the beach were also sad looking. However, the unobstructed view from the condo is beautiful. We've stayed in 'luxury' condos domestically and internationally, and I have a hard time describing starfish point as luxury. Location is 5 star, but the unit itself was a disappointment, thus the three star review. I didn't have a coupon, so paid the $285 per night + dog fee. Ouch. Aaron the manager was friendly. We didn't have any special needs but I'm confident he would be helpful.

Teri B.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at The Starfish Point this past week and were very pleased with the property, staff and amazing view. We definitely will be back. Took our 6 1/2 month old puppy on her first beach trip and she had a great time. Teri Burtis and Neal Pederson

Yelp
When renting a two bedroom condo be prepared to pay an upcharge if anyone actually uses the second bedroom. The rental fee is for two people only. Petty nonsense. Bait and switch. It's a nice place but this policy of theirs is bush league.

Yelp
We stayed here for anniversary in 2014. We loved it so much we knew we would be back! So this year we came back for thanksgiving weekend. We brought our daughter grandson and 2 dogs. They gave us a great deal on the room and reduced Pet fee too. Very friendly staff. So accommodating for anything we needed. The kitchen was so well stocked we cooked thanksgiving dinner in it! View is gorgeous. Beach access and lovely grounds. Oh and the jetted tub is heavenly!

Yelp
Good value for a family of 4 versus a chain hotel, and the views & beach access elevate it far above. Stayed in #6, wasn't expecting quite so may stairs :) but wow the views were awesome. Both levels of the condo had turret rooms with 180 degree windows overlooking the ocean/beach. What a peaceful place. It's a hike down to the beach, but it's a must. Wish we had stayed longer. Downers: coffee pot but no coffee? Get that even at a discount motel...Beds not that comfortable.

Yelp
My experience trying to book a room at Starfish Point.. Wow. I am completely and totally in shock right now. I have never received such rude and horrid customer service as I just experienced from Michelle while just calling to reserve a room. Let me stop shaking so I can continue. We are coming from Seattle for Christmas break with our kids. We have the luxury of grandparents in Portland to watch kids for my husband and I to get a rare night away. Our plan was to stay December 27. I checked out Groupon and found Starfish Point, which looked lovely! I scoured the fine print looking for blackout dates (yes I get it's holiday time so naturally blackout dates are a consideration- there were none listed) I checked online, 2 room available! Perfect. So I bought the Groupon. And then happily called to book. I got Michelle and asked to book December 27 with our Groupon. The response basically went.."well, no, we can't do that date. That's right in the middle of holiday time." Me: Ok, I understand that but there are no blackout dates listed. Michelle "Right, but that's right in the middle of Christmas, that's basically a $300 room that you are getting for $139, you can't expect to get that price. Me: ok, right. But nothing said I couldn't book. Michelle: "Well, you can't expect to get that price, it's the holidays. I suggest you book at another time or get your money back, you come at a different time" Me: No, we're coming from Seattle. This is the only time we will be in the area while the deal is still good" Michelle: "Seattle? That's not far, you can book for another time"...she was getting upset and muttered something about calling Christine and telling her this isn't working out. Ok. At this point I have kept my cool. But now she is taking it to another level. I told her she doesn't know my situation, I have kids, a job. I mean really, how can you have the audacity to tell a potential guest coming from out of state VERY rudely that I can just easily be able to come another time? Flustered and horrified I told her she was being very rude and that I was reporting her and hung up. I am pretty soft spoken person but at this point I am red faced and fuming. My husband was sitting next to me while this was going on and heard that whole thing. He decides to call her back and figure it out (forever the peacemaker) So he is calmly talking to her and then all of a sudden his voice rises and I hear, "my wife imploded??? Really? You are telling me this right now!?" Ok, so this woman is bad mouthing his WIFE to him on the phone? Again, I am completely shocked at what happened tonight. I have never experienced anything like it. I bet if you pay full price you are treated like royalty, according to the other yelp and tripadvisor reviews. But buy a Groupon, follow the rules and expect to be treated like garbage.

Yelp
This place is simply Amazing! My husband and I stayed for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and are so glad we did! Upon arrival we were met by Aaron who is extremely hospitable. When we walked into our condo the music was playing. What a special touch! The place was very very clean and felt so homey! Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We brought steaks to cook and Aaron showed us the grill to use and even supplied the bbq tools. There is awesome beach access. We walked down to Nye Beach from our hotel to eat at Nana's (which I highly recommend) About a 2.5 mile walk. When we let Aaron know we were waking there he offered to pick us up if we got too tired to walk back. Such a sweet offer! I highly recommend the Starfish and definitely will be making another trip. Maybe make it an annual birthday event!

Yelp
So - it was years and years ago but I'd love to see some others go check it out. This is a hotel/time share - no amenities when I was there but it's my understanding that they now do family bonfires and what not. The "rooms" are really more like condos - my parents and I stayed in a two bedroom townhouse style dwelling. It had two balconies (easy access to toss grapes at the seagulls), a jetted tub, and easy beach access. Off season used to be around 80/night. Go check it out!! Tell me if it still lives up - I'm planning a trip down to Oregon in a few months and would love to know!

Yelp
I recently had the opportunity to stay here for 3 days and it was so relaxing and wonderful. Starfish Point is a small collection of condos that are available for rental that overlooks the ocean. I dealt with a Roy & Danielle to make our reservations and they were the ones who helped us when we checked in (and their dog, Niles). Roy and Danielle were very helpful with any and all questions that we had and always had fabulous recommendations as to where to go to eat. For damn good fresh seafood, eat at Local Ocean Seafoods in downtown Newport, their oyster shooters are the best I've ever had. I was in Condo #1 and we still had a gorgeous view. Our captains windows opened up completely and I spent a couple of hours just sitting in front of them listening to the waves roll in. Eating dinner in front of the fireplace, watching a movie and listening to the sounds of the surf while enjoying time with someone special made it all worth it. The condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and if you need more equipment you can always ask the front office if they have it. The jacuzzi tub upstairs was very nice but be advised that hot water is limited but if you plan it right you have just enough. A walk along the beach at low tide yielded some treasures to take home with us, as well as just admiring the creative handiwork of other tenants (seaweed teepee anyone?) Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I can not say enough great things about the Starfish Point. The condo is beautiful and very well maintained. It has everything you need to feel at home. The grounds are beautifully kept, the views are amazing is and pet friendly. Aaron is very friendly and we look forward to seeing him when we arrive. I would HIGHLY recommend this for a relaxing getaway! Can't wait to book again. Thank you!

Yelp
Very impressed! From the friendly staff, amazing views, close proximity to the beach, and comfortable accommodations it was home away from home! Smores provided in the evenings, games and movies to borrow and a full kitchen in each unit. You won't be disappointed!

Ruth R.

Yelp
We picked this place after some research on trip advisor for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. The views were spectacular and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have already booked a return visit for our first anniversary and want to make other trips with friends and family.

Yelp
We found this place randomly during the off-season and were fortunate enough for Michelle to offer us (probably) the best room that the Newport area has to offer! Views were amazing, all amenities provided. We were blown away! It was such an amazing surprise and we would recommend it to anyone. Reasonable off season rates, beautiful townhouse style loft with amazing master bedroom. So happy we lucked out and got to spend the weekend here! Thank you so much!!

Yelp
We came here for my birthday and it was the best birthday trip ever! This place was beautiful and comfortable. Amazing ocean views throughout the whole condo. Loved the beach being right at your feet and the staff was so friendly! Fire pit and complimentary smores every night was the cherry on top for my daughter. Scamper the cat was my cherry on top I can't wait to come back! Just might have to make this a birthday tradition!

Yelp
What a wonderful place! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was amazing; it was equipped with a jacuzzi bath, two bedrooms and baths, an incredible view, and a bouquet of fresh flowers. We can't wait to return to Starfish Point for our next stay!

Yelp
Stayed 3 nights with 3 other friends and what a delightful place! We had unit #5 and it was perfect. It was a condo/villa that had everything you would need. Matt, one of the employees greeted us upon arrival and helped bring in our bags and food and told us all about the place pointing out all of the upgrades like granite countertops in the kitchen, newly travertine tiled Master Bath with a jetted tub and fresh paint throughout. The view of the beach/ocean was spectacular from every window! The "upper room" as we called it was very nice. It actually felt like we were in a lighthouse. We moved a couple more chairs into it and with a small table in the middle we were able to sit around and knit, read, eat snacks and have a glass of wine and with the window open we could see, hear and smell the ocean. Lovely room! Bedroom and bathroom (with a walk-in shower) fully equipped kitchen, dining room and a living room with a hide-a-bed in the couch. Upstairs was the Master Bedroom/Master Bathroom. There was a huge jetted tub with shower but no shower surround. And although it was private to the outside world, if someone walked upstairs...you were totally exposed. Great design for younger people...not so conducive for my friend who was 85 yrs. old since you had to go up 2 steps then down into the tub. Getting in and out of it was ok since there was a grab bar to help. Again...not so great for someone without the ability to hold on and pull themselves up and out. The Master Bedroom was huge and faced the ocean with a King Size Bed and very comfortable mattress. Bar-b-que grills were available to use as was a firepit area with another grill located in a beautiful lawn area with Adirondack chairs for you to enjoy the view of the ocean and grounds. Our first day was beautiful and sunny so we went into Newport to the Aquariam...a must do. Stopped in a nice quilt shop where the owner was very personable and helpful. Topped off our day with a bowl of clam chowder at Mo's. The following day was a bit dreary so we drove up the coast to the Tillamook Factory stopping along the way at some roadside stores and picked up some local trinkets...what a beautiful drive. Also drove to see the Octopus Tree...wow! Amazing! The last day we went up the coast to Gleneden Beach to a local yarn shop called "In The Wind Yarns" owned and operated by Janet Swanson. Lovely store with beautiful selection of everything knitting related. I had to choose a price range so I picked $$$ which said pricey but that is subjective. The 3 night stay was split between 4 of us and it came to $145...so not bad! Since there are only 6 units to rent I would highly suggest calling early for reservations! Worth every cent! We would like to make this a yearly vacation! I highly recommend this place! Thanks to all at Starfish Point for a most enjoyable stay! Perfect for a girls reunion! I can't wait to return! Yelp
We drove up the coast from San Francisco, and this was our favorite spot and we highly recommend it. It was so nice to be able to cook dinner in the well stocked kitchen watching the sunset, and finish the night in the jacuzzi tub. We absolutely will be back.

O! M! G! This place was amazing!! We stay at luxury resorts regularly at this is at the top of the list. The accommodations were clean and picture perfect. The staff and owner were friendly and very nice. The view are amazing. The unit is set up with a full kitchen with all of the needed items and oils and seasoning is available at the office if needed. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub and shower. The living room has a fireplace and the radio station that the stereo was set to was perfect. My favorite place however was the little alcove with the 270 view. It was perfect for watching the sunrise while drinking my morning coffee or watching the sunset with a glass of wine. The outdoor areas are beautiful. There is a garden area with a fire pit and the rooms come with the makings for s'mores. There is a staircase down to the beach and they supply you with beach towels and sand toys for the kids. And on top of all that they are pet friendly with a (believe it or not) beautiful dog walking area. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay. Will definitely be back. Thank you Neal and staff for a wonderful experience.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! I saw the sign driving down 101 and immediately booked it. The condo was beautifully and comfortably furnished with all the comforts of home. The views from every room were incredible. My boyfriend and I spent many hours sitting in the viewing alcoves just staring out at the ocean. The candy dish filled with salt water taffy and tea light candles throughout the house were a very nice touch. The firepit and front yard were very relaxing to lounge by at night. They are even thoughtful enough to provide everything you need for s'mores! I loved that the walkway down to the beach was lit at night. I was able to meet a couple members of the staff and they were both very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again.

Yelp
The property was breathtaking, however the interaction with Aaron the manager was insane to say the least. He called me a liar, and accused me of stealing the room from under another guest as we booked through booking.com. He was yelling and saying that he tends to get excitable. For someone in the service industry he has no people skills. I felt verbally attacked and threatened. We traveled from Vancouver Island to the beautiful Oregon coast, this was the only negative interaction on the whole trip. I would never in a million years stay at this location. Aaron is aggressive towards a group of women, intimidating and unhinged. Terrible experience. After explaining that social media is powerful, he changed his tune and was apologizing profusely. Too little too late.

Yelp
Starfish point is the BEST place to stay along the entire Oregon coast. Beautiful clean rooms and the staff is so genuine and welcoming. The view from the rooms is spectacular and couldn't possibly get better. They offer full kitchens, fireplaces, in room jacuzzi's, comfy beds etc. The salt water taffy was a lovely surprise to find; that along with being pet friendly allows for anyone to stay here. I would recommend Starfish point for any occasion (honeymoon, family vacation etc.). Book here today! You won't regret it :)

Yelp
Stayed here on a whim during the off season and absolutely love this place! Staff was friendly and helped us with any questions or concerns we had about the area. The townhouse style makes me feel like it's home away from home. The view from our unit was spectacular. Enjoyed watching the waves crash onto the beach for hours from both the balcony and jacuzzi tub. Cannot wait to stay again.

Yelp
We were only here for 2 days, but were really pleased with our stay. The access and view of beach and lighthouse was great. Everything was extremely clean. The bed and sheets were great. We slept so well! Loved that we could leave windows open for fresh breeze. Sat on our balcony and saw whales off of the point. Highly recommend. And the night time fire pit with all of the S'more makings were a great way to end each day, especially with a good glass of wine. Beautiful grounds with pretty landscaping. Quaint and peaceful highly recommend. Aaron and his staff take pride in their jobs. Thanks for an enjoyable visit!!! We were in Unit #1 by the way, which I recommend.

Yelp
I made a reservation on Wednesday November the 23rd. On Thanksgiving Day, I received an email saying my credit card did not go through. You cannot complete a transaction WITHOUT a confirmed valid credit card. I complete my reservation one day, but the next day suddenly the "card didn't go through?" And today I attempt to make a reservation for the same time frame, and now not only is there nothing available, but the prices for hotels in the area have conveniently gone up more than $500 per night. Sounds to me like the hotel "cancelled" my reservation so it could make more money by jacking up the price. At no time did anyone reach out to me to help me resolve the matter and keep my original reservation. I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, but based on this horrible experience I will take my business elsewhere.

Yelp
We just stayed here for the first time for a couple of nights. It is a great, clean 2 story condo with terrific views of the ocean. It is well equipped with everything we needed. I enjoyed the large jacuzzi tub with an ocean view! There is a little private beach area to walk or take the dogs out for exercise. Their customer service is exceptional and personalized with only having 6 units. Everyone on staff was so nice and friendly. As soon as we checked in, one of the guys just appeared and took our big heavy cooler downstairs to our room. That was much appreciated because we didn't know that unit 6 is downstairs. Units 5 and 6 are the premier units with amazing views. We didn't have a chance to see the other rooms, but I could see they had more limited views, but probably still amazing. Michelle, the office manager, was very helpful and even offered us another night stay at a much reduced price. Unfortunately we needed to get back home. Hopefully we'll have another chance to visit again soon. Thanks Michelle and staff!! Keep up the great work!
