The Best Hot Chicken In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Korean fried chicken is a beautiful thing that both K-Town residents and frequent visitors hold near and dear to their hearts. And Stark’s Hot Chicken is an example of Nashville and Korean-style chicken fusing together to create something unique yet familiar, but still undeniably delicious. Their chicken’s dry rub forms an extra crispy skin in the fryer, while the meat remains tender and juicy underneath. Their sandwiches consist of pillowy brioche buns, hot chicken, briny coleslaw, and spicy mayo that’s the perfect balance between savory and sweet. Stark’s also serves a delicious spicy mac and cheese on the side with lots of smokey paprika and Korean dishes like hobakjuk (pumpkin soup) or popcorn chicken with rice cakes in gochujang sauce." - sylvio martins

Google
Ran into this gem unexpectedly while getting some new glasses nearby. I was blown away by the quality of the food. I had the hot sandwiches. Spice level was great, fries were perfectly crispy. Taste was amazing. I loved the sauce they give you on the side. Favorite chicken sandwich spot moving forward.

Google
Very good chicken and the fries were fantastic too. Good prices, staff were cool. They confirmed meat was halal but I didn’t see any certificate or anything for anyone who wants to see that before eating.

Google
The breading on the chicken was delicious. Spices are great and the specialty sauce is delicious. The waffle fries are fell fried and have a pleasant semi crunchy exterior with a mushy interior. Service was ok. You interact with a screen and order through there while the cooks prepare your food. No complaints if you know how to use the screens. The location is not really comfortable for eating on site. If you plan on getting to go this place is a good safe choice.

Google
It's a small place. They have about 5 tables. They are comparable to Dave's chicken. I ordered the chicken tenders meal. The tenders were pretty good. Good amount of spice and hot. Good, decent size tenders. Their sauce choices are limited to their own special sauce. You have to pay extra to get other sauces. That is weird given that their prices are pretty high already The crisscut fries they served me were a disappointment. It seems like it was cooked a while ago. It wasn't even warm anymore. The person working there didn't even have work clothes on. Was wearing slide sandals. The place has decent parking, but it becomes busy with all the other businesses around it The food here is okay but very similar to other spicy chicken places.

I Love Food C.

Google
The Service: Thank you Romeo for the great customer service! He is very efficient. The Food: I have been craving for fried chicken for quite some time. Super excited to try their chicken sandwich & wings. Sloppy Cheetos Fries - Great combination & texture. Crunchy cheesy fries! The sauce is very addictive. After first bite, I can't stop! Sandos with Waffle Fries - They are very flavorful. OMG! Their waffle fries are to die for. Wings - So crispy outside and moist & tender inside. Heat levels.... from Original all the way to "STARK HOT"!! The Parking: Plaza parking lot (free)

Google
Found this place in a busy area and found it to be pretty amazing 😍 The chicken sandwich was super fresh , crispy , juicy and satisfying. Korean bbq chicken was awesome, huge quantity , authentic on flavor and i am definitely come it for again. I also had the chance to try the wings here and it was pretty hot and good quality wings. The staff is amazing and keeps checking up on you if you need extra sauce/napkins which i feel make the difference on good hospitality as well . Coming back for sure.

Google
I really liked their hot chicken sandwich. I ordered a medium and it had a nice, delicate crunch with a little bit of sweet mixed into the spice. I also ordered the Korean BBQ popcorn chicken dish. Albeit a bit overly sweet/saucy, it was a pretty satisfying dish. The popcorn shrimp also contained these tiny tubes of starch that I initially thought were potato fries, but after biting into it realized they were something different. It had a spongy, dense taste to it that was a nice departure and needed carbohydrate addition to go along with all the protein. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and would definitely come back here if I'm in the area.

Google
So I wanted to try something new yesterday and I went to Stark’s chicken. I was definitely disappointed in the food quality , the fries taste old and if they were fried in old grease. They weren’t waffle fries as advertised. The chicken wasn’t a strip more like an overcooked chicken breast. The chicken seasoning was okay but the chicken itself was completely dry and overcooked like I stated. The chicken also seems like it had been sitting there the entire day definitely wasn’t fresh to order. For the $17 I spent I could have went to Dave’s Hot chicken. I should have known something wasn’t going to be right when I got my food within 3 minutes after I ordered it.

Yelp
Location was easy, lots of parking. Small dining space. But the food is . This place stays on the list!

Yelp
This place sucks now!!! I've tried so many hot chicken places in this city and Starks was once my top 2 favorite hot chicken places and now it is trash. The buns are now hamburger buns, and the patties are literally McChicken's from McDonald's. I will never order from this place ever again. The fries are good, but every time they show up, they are just cold and soggy. Nothing about this place will ever have me come back anymore. It went from a top place to order from to now the last place I will ever order from. The photos are all lying to you as well! It is not a big chicken tender anymore. It is a chicken patty which is thin and sucks. Terrible food now. Hope you don't waste your money too. This is what happens when you change the way you make the food you once started with. WORST HOT CHICKEN PLACE IN LA NOW. Never again.

Yelp
Came on Thursday afternoon, no line or other customers. But service was quick and Workers were nice. We dined in and they gave us an extra sauce for free. Chicken Sandwich was piping hot and delicious. I got mild level spice, and thankfully was not spicy. The seasoned sauce paired well with the chicken.

Ben D.

Yelp
Food - Delicious flavor and chicken quality was great. Highly recommend the popcorn bites of any flavor. Service - Amazing service. Cook and owner were very polite and generous. Would return just for the customer service. Ambiance - Nothing to write home about. Hole in the Wall kind of restaurant with minimal seating. Calm music playing. Overall, would return again!

Yelp
This place is honestly one of my favorite chicken wings to get in Ktown. Plus, they're open until 2 AM so if you're hungry or at lock and Key, this is your place. I always get the fried wings in hot, sweet Korean sauce, and waffle fries. Usually, it's still hot when it gets to me if I'm ordering. The chicken is very flavorful and if you like spicy food the spice does hit, which is nice. It's nice to mix it in the sweet Korean sauce because it's sweet and spicy as well so it's just a nice addition. But the chicken is also just as good by itself. And who doesn't love waffle fries?! When I have gone into the store Great and the people were friendly. The ambience is very casual there.

Yelp
Alright, time to stop gatekeeping this... I'm going to be honest, I always go into hot chicken spots with low expectations because they feel overdone and not done very well.. but let me tell you, my expectations were blown out the water here! Their hot was not only heat, but such good flavor Def a top three for me in terms of hot chicken. Now, what also impressed me was that the other menu items didn't suffer in comparison. Everything we tried tasted like it was carefully crafted with flavor & uniqueness in mind. You can check below what all we ordered & I will vouch for everyone of the items Also, they have a parking lot in K-town, such a rare gem. FOOD: Hot Chicken Sandwich Medium Chicken Sandwich Korean Sweet Popcorn Chicken Sloppy Cheeto Fries Mac Salad

Estele K.

Yelp
Food 4/5: EVERYTHING IS REALLY GOOD EXCEPT FRIED CHICKEN WINGS. The chicken sandwich is INSANELY juicy... The kimchi fried rice - creative and delicious. Wings are not as juicy as you expect them to be Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5

Tough C.

Yelp
I got their sandwich combo and it was very good. Minimal wait and the fries were cooked very good.

Yelp
Thought the cheesy fries were too sweet. Not sure what the sauce was, but it didn't work for me on Fries. I gravitate towards savory and salty flavors, not sweet. Nothing special about fries. For the price, honestly, McDonalds is better for me. Chicken wings had great flavor, came out hot. I got Extra hot, and it was too hot for me, but the flavor was there, Nashville style seasoning. However, got the Wings, and I thought they were going to be "full" wings. They were not. They were cut / buffalo style. This place is alright, but it's a bit pricey (as I suspect most places are now) but there are better options right here in K Town. I would have done 2-1/2 stars if it was possible.

Maja H.

Yelp
Looks like a dive from the outside, but has really good chicken. The waffle fries are extra crispy.

Yelp
This spot's been on my radar for a while since it's pretty close to home, so I finally decided to give it a shot. Honestly? It didn't quite hit the mark for me. With so many great hot chicken options in LA--places like Dave's Hot Chicken and Howlin' Ray's setting the bar--it's tough out here, and Stark's just felt a little behind the curve. The chicken itself was thin, which wouldn't have been a huge deal if it packed a punch flavor-wise. It was definitely spicy, but the flavor didn't run deep; it was more heat than anything else. I kept waiting for that juicy, seasoned bite, but it never really landed. Fries were pretty generic--think frozen waffle cut--and the pickles were limp, missing that nice crunch that helps balance the spice. Maybe some folks are into that style, but for me, it was kind of a letdown. I wanted to like it more since it's a neighborhood spot, but when you've had the heavy hitters in LA, you can't help but compare. Underwhelming overall, but maybe worth a shot if you're nearby and curious.

Yelp
Well to start off, there's a good amount of parking in this little plaza, but it's tight AF. The chicken joint is small with only three tables (8 chairs). Definitely not meant for groups. I've been here a couple of times and the first was not so lucky. Their fryer was broken yet they kept receiving to-go orders and even a few walk-ins. I patiently waited for about an hour just because I drove from Orange County and really wanted to try their chicken. Whoever was working that day was so apologetic about everything and seemed stressed. No worries understandable. I told him that I would be back another time. Homeboy even offered to give cash, but I ain't gon take money like that especially since it's not that big of a deal LOL. Fast forward to me and my partner being back. Still the same tight spaced parking and they seemed busy with all the walk-ins and to-go orders. But this time, their fryer was working! It was a different worker this time and he was also nice. I placed my order and waited probably about 20min for food to come out. Key thing is being patient here because they seemed to be short staffed. Looked like one guy in the back cooking and one in the front to take orders. Food was alright to be real. Ordered 2 sandos with fries, sloppy Cheetos fries, and Korean sweet popcorn chicken. The chicken wasn't as tender as I imagined it to be, hot cheetos were stale to the bite (tried to pair it with the cheese sauce as much as I can to not waste *sad face*), and Korean popcorn chicken was too sweet.
google avatar

Janna C.

Yelp
Get the Korean Sweet Pop Chicken -- juicy little bites with yummy rice cakes in between! Everything else was okay but I would come back time and time again for these tasty nuggets! Tip: If you check in on Yelp, they give you a free side of Mac! The tangy bbq was good for a honey bbq. The sloppy parm fries were drenched in nacho cheese and topped with so much more. I probably wouldn't order them again unless I was with a group because I could only have a few. Their ranch was great, as well as their comeback sauce. The workers were so nice and the inside was clean. Only a couple small tables for sitting. Parking was a bit tough during lunch hour.
google avatar

Mandy A.

Yelp
Was craving fried chicken, so tried Korean sweet chicken. The review was good, I was expecting more, unfortunately, it was too dry and too sweet. The plaza has good parking, the restaurant is small and casual.
google avatar

Ron R.

Yelp
Very good chicken! Definitely support the local chicken spot in Kyown! The chicken is juicy, hot, and spicy. All their combos come with fries. They have chicken sandos and tenders. You can even grab a combo with one of each. Choose your chicken heat levels from original (no spicy) up to Stark Hot. They also popcorn chicken. Options include Korean sweet, buffalo, and tangy bbq. Don't want basic fries? Then get them sloppy. Sloppy Bacon, Sloppy Cheeto, Sloppy Sugar Parmesan or grab waffle fries instead. They also have wings, Mac salad, and Cole slaw. It's good service but they charge for sauce, which is disappointing. However, overall it's very good and you should give it a try!

Rania

Yelp
OK while this food was amazing and great. I would suggest that you order really ahead of time because the food took like a long time, but it was so good. It was spicy, flavorful, crunchy. The burgers were amazing. They were what I would recommend to anyone trying.
google avatar

Yelp
Yummy yummy in my big tummy! This was soooo good and I thought it was the perfect portion size, spice, and flavor. There is one self order kiosk which was convenient and there was a limited amount of seats on the inside - very small. We got the wings with medium spice, a tender with stark's hot, popcorn chicken with the korean sauce, and the macaroni salad! Our favorite thing today was tied between the popcorn chicken and the wings!! I was nervous that the popcorn chicken would have been really sweet since I know korean friend chicken usually has that taste but I was pleasantly surprised by how perfect the flavor was and it didn't have an overwhelming taste - just perfect! The wings that we had gotten with medium spice were so good as well. On the outside, it was nothing special and just looked ordinary but on the inside - wowwwwww it was juicy, soft, and so flavorful! We dipped it in the comeback sauce and the ranch which helped bring more flavor. We also tried the tender in their signature spice and it couldd be hotterrrrr considering it was the top level heat. Definitely worth a try! We also tried the macaroni salad and it was alright, nothing crazy - good to reach for when the chicken gets a little toooo hot. Overall, we will definitely be returning!

Yelp
This was the place that made me fall in love with hot chicken and I'm back again. I can truthfully say that I have not had chicken as juicy as Stark's. I don't know what kind of magic they work in the kitchen but they keep the chicken so tender while still making the outside crispy. Now, it's not the crispiest I've had but it retains all the heat from the chili powder and it packs a flavor punch. I tried both the sandos and tenders and you can't go wrong with either. The sandos just use the tenders but it comes in a soft pillowy bun instead of toast. Their waffle fries also amazing. They coat it in some sort of batter and then fry it because it has an extra crisp unlike any other waffle fry that I've had. I also loved their wings from last time and although it was just as good this time, I feel like it may have gotten slightly smaller. I would still put these as some of the best wings I've had though. I also checked in on Yelp to get a side of their macaroni salad which is a refreshing palette cleanser. The parking lot was pretty packed since it's small and the same goes for the size of the restaurant. There's only a few tables because most people take it to go.
google avatar

Risa Y.

Yelp
My daughter and I love hot chicken. What makes Stark's chicken delicious is the thick and crunchy breading. We ordered the wings, strips and a burger. Their burger was so delicious with the right amount of sauce and coleslaw with pickles. The tenders were juicy, flavorful and crispy on the outside. We always go easy on the spice level and shy away from ordering the spiciest, but I think we are definitely ready to go for the Stark Hot next time! A very casual spot located in a strip mall parking was very easy. You order at the counter and the food comes out pretty quick!
google avatar

Aisha G.

Yelp
It was very easy to order using the touchscreen menu and the food came out pretty quick. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich but I couldn't taste the spice so I was a bit disappointed by that. The fries were overcooked. They tasted very hard & oily, didn't have much flavor to it. The chicken sandwich overall was decent and had a good crunch to it. The comeback sauce & Korean sauce helps add flavor.
google avatar

Regina K.

Yelp
I underestimated their spice levels and the medium ended up being way too hot for me! Despite the heat, the wings itself were fried perfectly for that crispy skin and juicy meat. I would get the wings again in a mild spice next time. The Korean Sweet Popcorn Chicken is a good choice to balance out the spicy flavors with its sweet glaze. The Sloppy Cheeto Fries were covered in ranch and an orange sauce that made it very flavorful and delicious. All the items that I got were great and I would recommend this spot the next time you're looking to satisfy your hot chicken cravings! There is free parking in their lot.
google avatar

Eveline L.

Yelp
It's my first time here, and i tried their chicken sando, fried wings, and popcorn chicken in Korean sweet sauce. I have to say that their fried chicken doesn't get any crispier its crunchilicious!! If you're in the mood for really spicy, you can also choose your spicy level for everything. The only non spicy thing I ordered was the Korean sweet popcorn chicken, which is boneless and easy to eat (the owner even threw in a few fried rice cakes in there!) Needless to say, I'll be back to try more items next time~
google avatar

Margaret P.

Yelp
Looking for a fried chicken sandwich in Ktown? Make Stark's your spot to go to if you're looking for a chicken sammich fix. The flavors aren't as hot as some others, which is good for me! I ordered the mild, but honestly, I could've gone for medium or hot -- I was just a little scared considering some other places have a reaaaaalllyy spicy medium. It's a small shop with seats no more than 20 I think inside the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable as well and staff was super informative on what items they'd recommend! They also have some Korean fried chicken items for you to try as well!

M F.

Yelp
We came here strictly for the waffle fries and they did not disappoint! The employee was nice and the price was good. He made it fresh for us. The place was very cute and there was lots of parking. The waffle fries were fresh, hot and crispy and came with house made sauce. We definitely need to come back and try the rest of the menu!
google avatar

Scott J.

Yelp
If you're looking for a classic and spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich, look no further -- Stark's is solid and so tasty! I've had this twice now via Postmates, both times the sandwich arrives hot and full of flavor, and the insane waffle fries are crispy and delicious. They don't have a lot of food options here, but the few items they offer are excellent. They've got varying spice levels for the sandwich, all served with a tasty slaw that adds the perfect texture to this sandwich. They've also got a secret sauce that's amazing to dip those fries in, and to add a little extra heat to your Sando. 5 stars for both food items, this spot is SOLID!
google avatar

Joey M.

Yelp
Drove by this place and looked at menu and looked pretty good. This place did not disappoint, chicken was juicy and tender and the sauce was not over powering. Small spot but worth trying at least once. Going to come back and try the popcorn chicken and the Korean popcorn chicken . Staff was awesome and very polite and professional.

Yelp
This place randomly popped up on my IG feed and looked pretty good so I decided to give them a try this past weekend. The food looked great in pictures, it's local to me, and there's parking, so we were off to a good start. I get there and it's empty. The 2 guys there were friendly enough, so no complaints as far as customer service goes. Although, you place your own order on a screen they've got there, so not much interaction. I got my food pretty quick and was on my way. Portions are good, but sadly, the food just isn't good. The chicken wasn't fresh, nor flavorful. So much so, that I'm pretty sure it was just reheated. The fries could've used less seasoning, but were decent at best. Unfortunately, I won't be going back. For the price, it doesn't make sense to, when Dave's is just down the road. And speaking of price, for some reason it's more expensive to order on their website, than in the store.
google avatar

Richard L.

Yelp
I drove all the way across town to try this chicken. The fact that it has good flavor I really didn't like the texture as much as some of the competitors on the chicken battle. The girl behind the counter was very nice and cordial. But for the prices that this place is charging I personally felt the chicken should be better. I actually felt the chicken may have been a little overcooked and should have been more tender. I wish Starks good luck.
google avatar

Steven R.

Yelp
Absolutely DELICIOUS! Shared the macaroni salad, buffalo popcorn chicken, and a mild tender with fries meal. Everything was great! Want to thank them for knowing that mild can have a little bit of spice to it and not be bland! It was all perfectly cooked and I'd 100% comeback again!

Aquaamariee M.

Yelp
This place is amazing me and my husband come at least twice a month here . Hands down better than Dave's & byrds hot chicken . Also well maintained area and nice staff ! Definitely Recommend !

Yelp
Honest Review, Service was quick. Restaurant was clean. They had good music, like Tyler The Creator playing. I ordered by the kiosk screen which is convenient for both parties. There was two people working guy in the back who was making everything was working efficiently so I got my order with no delay. I got the combo with 2 burgers and mac and cheese. Burger and fries were really good! Only thing about the fries was it wasn't too much for the price. The burger was big definitely full filling they give good amount of chicken. Mac salad is alright for me a lot different flavors just kick randomly so I'm usually not a big fan of that. I would give it a 7/10. Would def come again!

Yelp
If you've been looking for a new hot chicken sandwich place to check out, @starkshotchicken is definitely bringing the HEAT to LA. You can't go wrong with any of the options on their menu- their chicken is meticulously breaded and fried to tender perfection, and everything pairs so deliciously with their secret sauce (which is absolutely ). Currently, @starkshotchicken offers a variety of super affordable combos with their chicken tenders and sandwiches, which you can customize to your preferred spice level, as well as a la carte items such as their fries menu and this delicious Korean sweet popcorn chicken featured here. If you're in the Ktown area, definitely make sure to check out their affordable combos (and no wait times), and support a small, and immensely well-deserving business!

Gerardo M.

Yelp
Oh my god I have never had food this flavorful and delicious in my life. They don't have this in OC, the owners were very friendly as well. Super chill location too. Both the sauces were excellent, what I assume to be their comeback sauce had such a unique and delicious flavor that I ended up DUNKING my fries in them. Chicken was juicy, the little rice cakes had these crosshatch cuts in them which gave them a fantastic slight crunch on the outside. Fries were bomb too. Will absolutely return. THANK YOU!
google avatar

Juanwen C.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem serving mouthwatering Korean fried chicken bursting with flavors! I absolutely couldn't resist their Korean popcorn chicken, two Sandos with perfectly crispy fries, and their sloppy bacon fries. Located in LA, there is enough parking spots in the lot, a clean indoor dining area, and fast service.
google avatar

Yelp
Upon arriving at Burbank airport late at night, we were hungry. Not many places were open but this place was! I must say there are tons of chicken sandwhich places opening up. I haven't heard of this place before but we decided to try it! I got the chicken sandwhich with fries combo. It was decent, maybe a 6.5/7 on a scale of 10. Their orange sauce tasted like it had cole slaw in it which was different, with a tangy twist to it. Pretty average place! Workers were nice as well. However, their restroom could be a bit cleaner. Other than that, decent place but can't beat howlin rays!
google avatar

Cassandra Y.

Yelp
Sloppy Cheetos Fries~ great combination & texture! Crunchy cheesy fries. My first time trying their wings.... OMG! So crispy outside and moist & tender inside. Their fried chicken never let me down!!
google avatar

Jimmy P.

Yelp
I randomly stumbled upon this place while walking around my apartment and it's in an odd plaza but man I love their fried chicken. The warning I have to give you is that their spice is actually quite spicy. If you normally order a medium spice I'd suggest a mild. I still go crazy and order a hot/medium though. Their chicken+fries is also pretty good and the price is pretty cheap in my opinion. Food quality: 5/5 my fav fried chicken place in SoCal. I wish they opened one in orange county. Price: 5/5 affordable for LA standards Service: 5/5 friendly staff I come back here everytime I'm in ktown
google avatar

Chelsea B.

Yelp
Ordered the Sando & tender combo and it was too good! The waffle fries were the right amount of crunchy and the perfect amount of seasoning! The food is freshly made. The staff do a good job with up-keeping the location's cleanliness!
google avatar

Taj T.

Yelp
Combo 1: Great price for the amount of food. Loved that the sandos are a manageable size. So many hot chicken places give you a huge hunk of chicken that barely fits between the buns. The mouth only stretches so far! The sauce is so good and the brioche buns are soft. Waffles fries are perfectly breaded, seasoned, and fried. Not too greasy! Stark Hot Tender wasn't the spiciest I've had in LA. No flavor, just a lot of burn. The good thing is that the burn wore off after a few minutes, but boy did it make me sweat. Rolled into the white bread though definitely tamed it. Korean Popcorn Chicken was battered and fried perfectly. It is quite sweet though, more than I prefer. To share with others though it's perfect.
google avatar

Eunice C.

Yelp
Ordered through a delivery app but food was still hot when we got it. A pretty good hot chicken place, love the waffle fries and the sliders were better than the tenders in my opinion. The portions were pretty big so I was full after just a slider and fries! The slaw is super thinly sliced on the sliders and the pickles add a nice flavor too.

Yelp
I've been seeing this all over social media and I finally had time to venture out here to try Starks myself. PARKING: Free in the plaza it's located in. SERVICE: Food came out in a timely manner and the lady who recommended us their top sellers was super sweet! COMBO #1 (2 CHICKEN SANDOS & FRIES): These were fried to absolute perfection! Fried crispy on the outside, while still staying tender on the inside. Ordered this in mild and it wasn't definitely stays true to the mild. Their waffle fries are also boast-worthy. Would get this again! COMBO #2 (2 CHICKEN TENDERS & FRIES): Just like the sandos, these were also fried to absolute perfection! I would get this if I'm not as hungry and get combo #1 if I was starving. Or you could share a SANDO and a TENDER when you get one of each combo...that's what my mom and I did. (: KOREAN SWEET POPCORN CHICKEN: I was shocked to feel how heavy the box felt, definitely a generous portion. Would highly recommend sharing this, might be a little heavy to have on its own. Like its named, the sauce is a little on the sweet side but I don't mind it. I also liked how they added some Korean rice cake (ddukboki) to it too, which was a nice complement to the fried popcorn chicken. This was also a nice complement to the spicy flavor of the combos. Highly recommend coming here, already looking forward to coming back myself! (:

Yelp
Not bad just nothing too out of the ordinary. Lots of these "hot chicken" spots have taken over LA which I'm not against. Tried the combo with 1 tender and the sandwich. Sandwich was good had a nice sauce and I had the sweet honey sauce on the side which I definitely enjoyed. Tender was just whatever, nothing special not bad but no unique flavor just a normal tender. The sauce really saved the day there lol. Had this as a picked up order was ready and easy to grab. Parking in the lot can get busy at times (I learned the hard way but bless 10 minute parking) so plan accordingly. Not a bad spot to try and I'll most likely return to try other items but only if I'm close by already since this is pretty far from my place.

Yelp
Overall: 3.4/5 (Ubereats delivery) Fries ($4.99): My brother was craving waffle fries and on Ubereats it says that waffle fries are back due to popular demand but guess what? We ended up getting regular fries instead which were alright. They weren't very crispy and we're more on the starchy side. Extra Sauce ($0.59 each): We got the comeback & Korean Sweet sauces. Both were good sauces and honestly didn't taste too different from each other since they have a creamy base. The sauces were great for dipping our fries in. Combo #1 ($17.99): This combo comes with 2 sandos and waffle fries. We did not get waffle fries and got regular fries instead. For the sandos, we got mild and medium heat which did not taste that different either in terms of spicy level. Both were pretty mild. The sando was okay with the mild Sando being better because it has more flavor from the coleslaw and sauce. Popcorn Chicken - Korean Sweet ($16.99): I've noticed that many Korean restaurants make their popcorn chicken the same and even have the same sweet Korean sauce. For Stark's Hot Chicken, their popcorn chicken's crispiness is on par but the flavor isn't quite there yet. However, they do give more chicken than other places like Dogs Chicks and reduce their rice cake amount to literally like 3 pieces.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem.. tucked away in a small strip mall is this delicious Chicken spot. i love chicken wings and i was excited to try this spot after one of my girlfriends invited me to join her. They have a self service terminal you can use but we opted for actually talking to a person. ok the wings with no spice was just amazing, so crispy and juicy. the chicken sando was just as good and huge enough to share.. the last item was some boneless chicken with Korean sweet sauce. i love my wings to be bone in but these were also delicious. i will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Love this place! If I order chicken from anywhere in k town it's always here. I've never tried their other sides but the chicken Sandos and fries are crispy and don't lose their crunch even if you're ordering delivery. 10/10

Yelp
ORDERS: - Combo #1 (2 Sandos w/ fries): delicious and stuffed sandos! Chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Love how everything in this sando comes together. Also, their sauce paired with this is super delicious. Waffle fries were crispyyy and flavorful! - Sloppy Cheeto Fries: seasoned well and mixed well. Fries were soft and crispy and the addition of the Cheetos enhances the flavors. Just wish some of the Cheetos weren't stale. - Korean Sweet Popcorn Chicken: the best popcorn chicken I've had! It was like orange chicken but Korean styled! Love how they drenched it in sauce and the meat itself was very meaty. - 2 @drinkcalypso lemonades: refreshing and naturally flavored. Perf for a hot day

Yelp
I ordered the chicken sandwich with waffle fries. These chicken sandwich shops are all different with their heat levels. I asked the young cashier what he recommends because I can handle some hot chili. He suggested the HOT level but I went with the VERY HOT and there's the top tier STARK level. I should've listened to him because my mouth, tongue, and lips were on fire.

Yelp
Ordered the 2 sandwiches and fries combo, and I must admit the food was really good. The fries were well seasoned and very crunchy. Sandwiches were a great size, chicken was seasoned well. Ordered a mild and will say it had a little bit more of a kick than what I anticipated but it was really nice. Along with that, I got some of the house sauce which was good but I will say, their ranch was 10/10. Service was nice, it's a nice and cozy little place to eat if you don't want to take out.

Yelp
Allright, im just going to come out and say it. This place is way better than Daves Hot Chicken. Located on Vermont and in a plaza, Starks is really underrated and a bit on the outskirts of ktown. I always found Dave's to be very dry and lacking flavor with their slider combo. Starks fulfill that missing piece that Daves has been lacking. In my opinion, Starks has way more flavor and packs a better punch with the seasoning and the coleslaw that goes inside the sliders. It comes with a side of sauce but i barely used because the sliders already have so much flavor. The waffle fries that it comes with is so crunchy and fresh! Waffle fries over regular fries. I will be back at this location as a regular customer. Congratulations Starks Hot Chicken, you won the chicken slider debate for me. Limited seating inside, FYI. Hopefully they dont get too packed. Went on a sunday evening and it was not busy at all. Free parking available and they do delivery through uber eats.
