Prices are good during happy hour—though the portions are definitely on the tiny side. Still, it’s a fun spot with a lively atmosphere. Just a heads-up: the bar gets super busy starting around 4:30 PM, so plan ahead if you want a seat!

Delicious! This was my first time here. Megan recommended the burger for happy hour. She was right! Great service I was very well taken care of. I had the Lucy cocktail which rivaled my usual lemon drop... I will be back! loved it!

It was our first time dining at this restaurant, conveniently located near our hotel. We stopped by during happy hour, and the place had a clean, vibrant atmosphere that immediately stood out. It was fairly busy, which added to the lively energy. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a nice glass of wine to top it off. A great experience overall—we’re glad we gave it a try!

We stopped by for their weekday happy hour (3–6 PM) and were seriously impressed. The menu had a fantastic selection of bites and drinks at very reasonable prices. No wonder it’s been voted “Best in Sonoma County” year after year! We ordered a spread that hit all the right notes: Crispy calamari with orange-chili gremolata…perfectly tender with a zesty kick Buttermilk onion rings…golden, crunchy, and addictive Poke tacos…fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented BBQ oysters…smoky and rich, a standout dish Prime rib banh mi…a genius fusion of steakhouse indulgence and Vietnamese flair The vibe was upscale yet relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re in Santa Rosa and want elevated bites without breaking the bank, Stark’s happy hour is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

Now this was truly an excellent dining experience! We came here for dinner as we were staying very close by (the La Rose Hotel is only a couple of blocks away). Our server was friendly and helpful and the venue is beautiful, very “steakhouse’ish” in décor and all the service there was great. The menu is loaded with many incredible options and some funny notes too. If you’re lucky enough to get there while they still have some of the day’s smoked prime rib, I’d suggest giving it a try! In my case, I asked about it immediately and learned they had enough for 3 more portions, so I reserved one. We started with their shrimp cocktail and I generally always ask for extra horseradish and many places have wimpy, mild horseradish – Will, this isn’t one of those places! Their horseradish was LEGIT! It was so potent, it’s the spiciest I’ve ever had, even more so than Eddie V’s Atomic Horseradish! Definitely flavorful and worked great on those perfectly steamed, large shrimp! The entrees here were incredible too! The scallops were a thing of beauty and that prime rib was incredible! The smoke on it was perfect and offered the nicest hint of flavor. The mashed potatoes tasted great in the jus too! Save room for dessert, they have a very nice dessert menu! We’d definitely return when in the area!

Short version Great atmosphere and service 👏 food was disappointment 😞 Now details: were very excited 😊 first time in this restaurant 😀 and heard a lot of good things about it 😀 price tag is on the high level and so was our expectations, got prime cut ribeye (one per person), BBQ oysters for starters and mac n cheese and loaded potato for the sides. Loaded baked potato was awesome 👍 😋 oysters and bread were good, mac n cheese was too greasy 🥴 and both steaks were disappointment 😞 way too much fat in it and it cooked the way you can hardly tell where is the meat and where is fat from the top, have to cut hope to separate chunks of fat to find some meat. Too make matters worse it got both of us nauseous afterwards 🤷‍♂️ so 2 stars because of loaded baked potato and service/atmosphere. Not sure if I will give this steakhouse another chance 🤔

Excellent cocktails and outstanding food! Service was fast even though they were super busy. Staff was very patient and helpful.

Google
Food is fantastic, petite filet cooked perfectly with a side of bernaise. We ordered sides of broccolini and mashed potatoes with creme fraiche. For cocktails we had espresso martinis and Sazeraks. Both were excellent. Decor and atmosphere is lovely.

Yelp
Great food & great service! This is our second time dining at Starks, we arrived right when they opened at 4pm on a Sunday without reservations but we were seated promptly by the bar (I do recommend a reservation because the restaurant does fill up). Our server, Riley, was so helpful in explaining the menu items to us & in helping me select from their tasty cocktail menu. I ended up selecting the Winter Break, a well balanced bubbly cocktail! The complimentary bread that was provided was absolutely delicious, I'm not usually one for bread but I ate most of it! We ordered the potato skin fondue for the table, it was definitely a favorite! For my main course I decided on the surf & turf with the steak cooked to a medium temperature, with a peppercorn sauce on the side (recommended by our server) my steak was perfect! The shrimp that came with the surf & turf was good but not out of this world, next time I'll likely just do a steak alone. All of their steaks are a la carte, so sides & apps are recommended so you leave satisfied! For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée, it was eaten so quickly I wasn't able to snap a pic! Overall, very happy with our dining experience!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I wanted to come to Starks early to go for Happy Hour. It was easy to find parking right outside the entrance to the bar and we were quickly seated around 4:30 pm. We had ordered two bahn mi prime rib sandwiches, the onion rings, and the ahi tuna tacos to snack on while sipping on their HH red and pina coolada. While the bahn mi is probably the best tasting out of all the things we ordered, we were sorely disappointed that we paid $9 for half of a sandwich. While we are knowledgeable about HH foods being on the smaller side, we couldn't justify paying that much for a sandwich with barely any meat. The ahi tacos we've had before but forgot how flavorless they are where we needed to ask the waiter for soy sauce to get any umami. Lastly, the thing that convinced us to go elsewhere for happy hours was the onion rings. After taking a bite out of one as soon as it got to our table, we quickly realized and agreed that it felt and tasted under fried, underwhelming, and flavorless. While I enjoy Starks for their steaks in the main dining room, I think I'd skip out on happy hour.

Yelp
Special occasions deserve outstanding restaurants. Stark's is my choice for holidays, birthdays, etc. The atmosphere is the exemplary steak house style with leathers and woods, and a fireplace in the main dining room. Lunch is served in the lighter brighter bar area and haz a busy hum to the room. Cocktails are perfectly prepared and served. A wine list has depth and variety. And then there is the menu! How to choose? Tiny mussels in a skillet ( as an appetizer) will always be a winner... or have tiny clams instead with bread in a skillet to sop the broth up. Meat? Fish? What to have? That truly is a problem... the best solution this day was a steak Caesar salad. A healthy serving of steak cooked to order on crispy fresh romaine with halved cherry tomatoes. Each salad is actually generous enough to share. But we didn't. The desserts were tempting, but there was also Irish coffee, which was a suitable conclusion to the birthday meal. Of course the birthday girl was treated to a cup of creamy vanilla bean ice cream. I'm sure the wish she made came true!

Yelp
I love starks! Had not been here in a while decided to go with my two sisters (who are normally picky) hoping for the best. We were not disappointed. My sister got the piña colada and I got the pear drink, which was super fresh. Their house bread here is amazing, and addicting. The sauce was my sisters favorite. The potato was a classic we all enjoyed along with the broccolini they also got an actual New York steak, while I opted to try their hickory smoked prime rib. Which was pretty good, only issue being it had too much fat for my liking but to be fair I didn't ask for a piece with minimal fat etc. The service here is great the servers were always attentive and made sure that our glasses of water were always full. When asked for suggestions they were honest about the flavor and recommendations. The spots cute and mellow and of course in downtown, feels kind of like you're in another bubble. 10/10 would recommend coming here. Have been here multiple times and I still continue to come back!

Yelp
Everything was great. From the food to the ambiance to the service, everything was delicious and efficient. Other than what's shown on the picture, we tried the tuna tacos and the calamari. Calamari was by far my favorite and couldn't stop eating it to snap a photo. Definitely would come back!

Yelp
I knew of Stark's for some time but never really wanted to drive and park on this side of down town. This Christmas Eve I was looking for a restaurant that had holiday hours to dine with the family. Luckily, Stark's had holiday hours and were not busy enough to require reservation. Pricing wise, it's about what you'd expect for higher grade meat. Most options were 16 oz or more so be prepared to eat or share. There's a plethora of good side dishes. We got the broccolini, Brussel sprouts, and truffle fries. Broccolini was pretty good, Brussel sprouts were acceptable but a bit charred, and fries were as expected. We also got started with free bread and tuna tatare. We got a ribeye and Australian wagyu new York. The new York was pretty good. Riley was a bit tough. For dessert we got the lemon pudding which was the right level if zest and sweet. Overall, it lived up to the hype and is great given the area.

Yelp
Their happy hour is the best! We've been here on two different occasions and were very satisfied with both the service and the food. We didn't drink any alcohol, but we thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour menu. The place can get very crowded--our first visit had a 10-minute wait, while the second took about 30 minutes. But in our opinion, it's absolutely worth it!

Yelp
Classic steakhouse. Incredible quality beef cooked perfectly. Impeccable service. Classy old school vibe. Nice bar with excellent cocktails and a great wine list. The house bread is an enriched puffy loaf, brushed with butter and garlic and served warm in a cast iron trivet. A nice way to start. I ordered a Manhatten from the bar, and it was exactly perfect. Made with Four Roses, just a little bit sweet, served straight up, chilled but not bruised, just the way I like em. The Caesar salad was made with whole fresh crispy lettuce leaves, tossed in a creamy dressing, accompanied by croutons made from their house bread. Anchovies added by request were complimentary, and boy were they good. The wife and I ordered the porterhouse special to share. It was perfect. Just perfect. Served with a trio of salts and your choice of a sauce. You can choose one of about a half dozen different sauces to accompany your meat. We chose the Green Peppercorn and loved it. My only note for the experience was that I didn't love the brussel sprout side dish. Sprouts served with blue cheese, apples, and chorizo. I felt that the chorizo was such a strong flavor, it overpowered the sprouts and should have been diced finer and reduced by half. Otherwise a fine side dish. Shout out to Matthew our waiter who made our dinner complete. His timing was on point, he had great food/menu knowledge, and was very personable to chat with. Really enjoyable!

Yelp
Food was really good! So surprised that everything we ordered was great! Got calamari (which had an orange chicken with a kick sort of glaze), a bone in ribeye (nicely seasoned and very tender), topped with bone marrow (two bones! So generous), cauliflower gratin (a "healthy" non-heavy version of mac or potato gratin!), truffle mac (great flavor without being overwhelming) and a prime rib (smoked flavor was so interesting!). We brought our own wine bottle and corkage isn't that much. We also were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us complementary champagne. Great place and I feel like if you were in vegas or a major city, this would have been much more expensive. So happy about this meal and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
We had a business lunch here last Wednesday and I have to say that it was well worth five stars. This was my first time and we decided on this place on our client's recommendation. The interior decor is very warm and inviting. Looks and feels like an old school steakhouse. Several of us ordered the NY steak salad. They brought some warm garlic bread to the table and we devoured it. Lots of butter and lots of garlic. What's not to like? The steak salad was also the perfect size, not too small and not too big. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was a quality cut of meat. The greens were fresh and well prepared. Service was top notch as they checked on us regularly but was not overbearing. I would definitely recommend for a business lunch or special occasion. I'm already looking forward to returning to Santa Rosa for another meal at Stark's soon.

Yelp
This is a classy steakhouse with quality food and great service. Came for lunch and had their lobster, mac and cheese, and ribeye and was not disappointed. The cocktails were also really good! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable and professional.

Yelp
All the food was so yummy! We ordered 5 different things and they were all 5/5 honestly. This was my second time dining here. For Santa rosa it is pricey but for good reason. High quality food. Service was s bit slow but good other wise. Will recommend! 5/5 Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance

Yelp
Celebrated a friend's birthday where we had a reservation for a party of 6 adults, 1 toddler and a baby and got the following: * Surf & Turf with a 6 oz Petite Filet & 1/2 Rack of Shrimp for $47 (shrimp was a bit overcooked and we would skip the sauce as it was a bit too strong for our taste) * Piña Coolada with Caramelized Pineapple, Coconut, Lime, Orange, Brown Sugar Simple for $12 * Skillet Roasted Little Neck Clams with Lemon, Chorizo, Scallion Garlic Butter for $18 * Roasted Bone Marrow with Toasted Brioche & Red Onion Marmalade for $24 * Dry Ribeye * Seared Sea Scallops with Pancetta Onion Jam and Petite Herb Salad for $36 * Broccolini with Toasted Pinenuts, Golden Raisins for $12 * Creme Fraiche Mashed Potatoes for $12 * Truffle French fries for $12 * Roasted Cremini Mushrooms, Miso Vinaigrette for $14 Not pictured: * Watermelon Cooler - Watermelon-Basil-Jalapeño Simple, Lime Soda Water for $11 Super sweet they offered a dessert but our friend couldn't have anything dairy but the staff brought out a candle at least for her to blow out while we sang happy birthday! They were also nice enough to give our toddler some pages to color.

Yelp
I recently learned about the Stark Family of restaurants from a lady i met at the Santa Rosa airport. So for my daughter's birthday i sent the the website with all the the different restaurant and she picked Stark's Steak & Seafood for the intention of ordering the mac n cheese (which she did). Parking was a tad difficult because it was a crazy rainy day. We did end up getting a spot in their lot across the street. The lot is small but we got lucky (after circling the neighborhood block a couple times) we had a reservation and were seated very close to our reservation time. the room is loud..very loud. Not in an annoying way but in an energetic way. If you're looking for a quiet dinner this may not be the place. I was wondering if there was another quieter room but i didn't ask... There is an adjacent bar room which seemed really cool and I am definitely going to try that side soon. food was all excellent. prices are high but the quality is also high. Service was efficient but I can't say it was personable. looking forward to checking out the bar side / Happy Hour

Yelp
Another wonderful visit!! Unwinding in style at Starks for happy hour! If you're on the lookout for a perfect spot to unwind after a long day, look no further than Starks. It is the perfect blend of charm and relaxation with exceptional service, delightful small plates, and a classy atmosphere. Note: Come early-it's a popular Happy Hour Destination.

Yelp
My favorite things here are the complimentary bread, served on a cast iron skillet with lots of butter and dill! I really like the clams appetizer that comes with chorizo. And my favorite steak is the 21(?) day dry aged bone in ribeye. I like the green peppercorn sauce, but I also really like the salt sampler. For sides, I usually share with my table, but I like the mashed potatoes, broccolini, and the yam fries or truffle fries are good too. One tip: I love a medium rare steak, but the medium rare here is almost too rare for me, so I ask for an in between of medium rare and medium, and it's perfect for me. I've eaten in the dining room most of the time, and it's very old school steak house vibes. Not stuffy and just casual enough so you don't have to feel obligated to dress up. But you can if you want! I recently ate here at lunch when they only seem to have the bar/lounge open. It's a more casual vibe, but they serve the full menu still. Service is always really friendly and helpful if you're new to this spot. I have to say that of all the steakhouses I've tried in the bay area, Stark's is still my fave all the way up north in Santa Rosa!

Yelp
We recently dined at Stark's Steak & Seafood, and while the ambiance was warm and inviting, we weren't too impressed with the food. The setting was cozy and perfect for a nice date night dinner, but the steak was surprisingly underwhelming. I found myself needing to add salt and pepper just to bring out some flavor, which was disappointing considering the price. I don't mind paying for a good steak, but this just was not the place. For reference, I chose the 16 ounce USDA prime rib steak with mushrooms and onions with truffle aïoli sauce. Still needed to add salt. We didn't want to make a big commotion so we just kept our steak. For a steakhouse with Stark's reputation, I expected the steak to be seasoned and cooked perfectly, but it just didn't hit the mark. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but for the price, I was hoping for more. The food was just okay--nothing that would make me rush back.

Yelp
Definitely here for HH their HH menu has some great options and the environment is cozy and welcoming. Service is top tier definitely a must to stop by. While here I had the HH burger and tried the HH banh mi both were really flavorful and good. Their table bread is mouth watering I'd go just for that

Yelp
I wasn't sure how how good is this place just looking at the building. But going inside I was pretty impressed with the place. The ambiance is really nice. Very impressive. Food is great as well. If you're in town, try and check this out.

Yelp
Our first visit this year at Stark! It is our favorite spot for a steak date, though it is far from where we live but we love their steak. Though I'm updating my review so that I have a note for the future to not order the dry aged ribeye. We ordered the prime ribeye and the dry aged ribeye and split them. We both agreed the prime ribeye was so much tastier. Not sure if it was an off day, but I couldn't eat the dry aged meat without any sauce because it had an odd lingering pungent smell. The warm spinach salad was delicious! Our first time ordering it. I l0ved the egg and mushroom, great combination! I would pass on ordering the sticky rice it sounded interesting, but it really was just overwatered steamed rice with soy sauce lol. For once we ordered the baked potato not loaded, it was good, but the loaded version was certainly better though almost doubled the price. It's still our favorite steak spot and we had leftover to take home despite being big eaters :)

Yelp
What I ordered: -Garlic Bread [5/5] -Oysters on the Half Shell [4/5] -Buttermilk Onion Rings [3/5] -Truffle Fries [3/5] -Potato Skin Fondue [4/5] _ I visited Starks on a Friday night for happy hour, which ends after 6 PM. We were seated after a brief 10-minute wait. The servers promptly took our orders, and our food arrived quickly. We shared several appetizers from the happy hour menu. The oysters were delicious and flavorful. The buttermilk onion rings, though, had too much batter for my liking and were almost the size of a donut. The truffle fries were just okay, as the truffle flavor was not very pronounced. The potato skin fondue was tasty, but the highlight for me was the garlic bread. It was perfectly garlicky and buttery, making for an excellent bite. The ambiance was pleasant, making it a great spot for a date night or a happy hour with friends.

Yelp
What can we say about 5 start service and wonderful meals that are at the table every time. Wow. Love it. Can't wait to go back. Best steak house around.

Yelp
In town for work so had dinner here and everything was really great. The service was on point, the food was exceptional, and we really liked the ambience! we got there a little bit early and they must have a really good happy hour because the bar area was hopping. Moving to the restaurant, it was a lot more low-key. The lighting was a little dim if you don't have great eyesight, but not any different than other steakhouses. The complementary garlic bread was absolute perfection.

Yelp
Everything was delicious. Service was excellent and drinks were delicious as well. It was clean and has a vintage cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
The service is super quick and the staff is very friendly! Had my 26th birthday dinner there last night and was thrilled with how good everything was. The drinks are superb and at a very fair price. The food is pricey but 100000% worth every penny. The lobster is out of this world and their dry aged steaks are remarkable! Super cozy home vibes and an excellent experience all around. This is the steakhouse that steakhouses strive to be!

Yelp
Old steakhouse atmosphere with food that is part of the old days. We loved every minute from the hostess to the server... to the food! The food was fabulous but without the other components it wouldn't be a 5. If possible I will absolutely go again. I had the surf n' turf. 6 oz filet with shrimp- yummy!!!!

Yelp
Nice steak house in Santa Rosa. It is quite loud in the main dining room. The food is very good. Our server was very friendly. The service was a bit slow. It took a while to be greeted at our table. Drinks, while good, also took a while to come out. All in all, this place is good and I would go back.

Yelp
This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Rosa. The atmosphere here is consistently vibrant and lively, complemented by a classic, simple interior with ambient lighting that allows the food to take center stage and speak for itself. The servers and bartenders do an incredible job attentively buzzing around and keeping each guest happy. I've been here multiple times either by myself or with good company, and I am never disappointed. They have an outstanding happy hour where I've tried the Prime Rib Banh Mi Sandwich, Potato Skin Fondue, Truffle Fries, Tuna Tartare Tacos, and the Oysters with a Cilantro Mignonette. It is all absolutely fantastic. They have $5 Vodka or Gin martinis, amongst other tasty, yet cheap, cocktail and beer/wine options. When I ordered from the main menu, I had a 16 oz Ribeye with bone marrow cooked to a perfect medium rare, and a side of broccolini which was insanely delicious and flavorful. Their garlic butter bread is hands down one of the best bread dishes I've had at any restaurant, ever. This is definitely a hotspot in the Santa Rosa area that I will continue to be a regular at!

Yelp
Hats off to Stark's Steak House We had an amazing evening at Stark's Steakhouse. My husband and I visited with my daughter and her boyfriend for a special dinner, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely fantastic, portion sizes were perfect, steaks were flavorful and good quality steaks with flavors that exploded with every bite. The service was outstanding. She was friendly, gave us the specials that were being offered that night. As out-of-town guests, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. We'll definitely be spreading the word to our friends visiting the area--Stark's is a must-stop for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. You won't be disappointed! Yelp
My annual review update ... Through we don't go very often, when we do, it is such a delight. Again, we enjoyed every bite as usual. The wedge salad was delish, steak perfect, potato fondue indulgent, calamari crispy and sauced just right. Matthew was the BEST and made our 34th anniversary dinner just that much nicer.

Yelp
The food is excellent, if a bit pricey; but the atmosphere is cozy and they also do carry out. We've done both.

Yelp
Starks has the best Happy Hour in Sonoma County and is conveniently located right in downtown Santa Rosa! Happy Hour takes place Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. and is located at the bar and in the seating area next to the bar. Everything on the menu is $6-$9 for food and drinks. The oysters on the half shell are a must try! The Truffle Fries have good flavor. The Potato Skin Fondue is rather yummy, and the Crispy Calamari is one of the best I've ever had! As for the drinks, I usually go for The Lucy, which is 360 vodka, lime, lemon, and simple syrup. They have a nice menu with a variety of vegetarian, seafood and meat options for everyone. The drink options are a good variety of beer, wine and cocktails.   The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The staff are very attentive and check in often to see how everything is tasting and to see if you need any refills or more food.  I highly recommend Starks for happy hour or to get a meal! All the Starks restaurants are wonderful, and they truly know what they are doing!

Yelp
A classic steak house in railroad square area of Santa Rosa. Upscale simply stated elegant restaurant, so it's a great place to get dressed up, but casual enough for everyday wear. I like they open at 4pm on Saturday for dinner service, gives plenty of time for a relaxed dinner experience and still be able to get to a show at Luther Burbank or Graton. Lots of different cuts of steak and grades to choose from with toppers and sauces. A variety of classic steak house sides available a la Carte. Entree comes with rolls soaked in warm dill garlicky butter - yum. Our order was the filet mignon - medium rare with Brussel sprouts and the steak house Caesar with ny strip and onion rings. I usually order red wine sauce with steak but the waiter recommended the green peppercorn sauce and I I'm glad I listened to him, so good! They have a variety of cocktails and a great wine selection featuring local wineries. We went with Silver Oak Cab & a Pinot from flowers (no going wrong there). Steak cooked perfectly per my order. Very enjoyable dinner, staff was pleasant and attentive. Reservations a must.

Yelp
So the service and atmosphere were great here. The food was alright-good. Let me tell you why: First off everything is al-cart and very pricey. For the side dishes a baked potato is $10 and they tell you it's big but it wasn't, just a normal russic. I got the surk and turf with 6 oz filet and 1/2 rack of shrimp...which was three small shrimp. My husband got the New York strip asked for med rare ...it was still mooing so he had to send it back but came back within 5 mins. The steak sauce taste like red wine and apple cider vinegar but used lightly was good. The calamari was VERY sweet but came with a full portion size. We couldn't finish it due to the sweetness. Our drinks...my husband got the N/A Pina Colada which he really enjoyed. I got the Poolside and sent it back. It was 1/4 the size of the wine glass served in and the cucumber over took any other flavors that were in there. Our bill, with tip was $270 for a good meal for 2....we won't go back.

Yelp
Came to have dinner here to celebrate a work anniversary with a colleague and overall this place had great service, good food, and overall very nice upscale ambiance to it! The steak had a good overall taste and above average steakhouse with their aged steak. The steak was cooked according to the temperature I asked for and the asparagus had good overall flavor. The service was excellent and the gentlemen helping us was on point and very knowledgeable and helpful the whole evening. I would certainly recommend this place while in the area and looking for a good steak. This is one of the better places if not the best I've eaten in Santa Rosa. Certainly worth your time!

Yelp
As a thank you/bday gift, my neighbor brought us here for a top notch meal. That it was! The service was a bit rough in the beginning as our server was having health issues but they brought in support and made up for any concern with extra everything and of course, the high quality food this place is known for. Stark's is known for their beef and rightfully so. We each had a different cut and all were impressed. We also got 5 different sides and each was tasty. The truffle Mac & Cheese stole the side show in my opinion but my fellow dinners all raved about the loaded baked potato. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough room for dessert! We made a pact to come back for just drinks and dessert another time.

Yelp
Love the ambiance, food was good but not outstanding. Service was attentive but the wait from salads to getting our main dishes was too long. Had the Cesar, wedge, calamari, scallops, Tuna, Lobster, Cauliflower.

Yelp
Who doesn't love a steak house ambiance? Moody lighting, fancy feels and hearty food! Got to enjoy a meal in the lounge with a good friend. The lounge gave more of a lighter vibe, while still remaining elevated based on the ambiance and meal! We ordered cocktails and wine! The mezcal drink I enjoyed was fantastic. The meal started with the rolls that were out of this world. We shared a bunch of plates including the wedge salad, ribeye, mac and cheese and fries. Everything was decadent and so good. A perfect meal!

Yelp
Last time we ate here was a year of so after it opened so 15+ years ago and I was underwhelmed to be honest. Ate there last night and things have changed for the better it seems. The dining room felt more inviting and it was much much busier but the staff handled it well in a professional and well choreographed manner. The complimentary bread was excellent but don't eat too much of it as the portions are quite large. Calamari was excellent while the Tuna Tartar was of high quality but seemed to lack a little flavor. Wedge and Caesar salads were also excellent but large enough to share. All the steaks were outstanding; Prime Filet, two had surf an turf and I had the dry aged bone in ribeye which was fantastic albeit perhaps a bit too much salt. Truffle fries were very good but two orders was one order too much for the four of us as we had them with the entrees. No room for desert. About $100 each before tip with one non alcoholic cocktail and one bottle of $60 Carignan from Mendocino County which was well priced and a nice steak compliment. A bit expensive but worth it. Lots of leftovers of course. Jason was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

Yelp
We went to celebrate my late mother's birthday. Ordered things she would have ordered. All was excellent as usual. We had the nicest server: Kelsey H who made our night even more special. We sure appreciated the hospitality. Starks is one the best of the best. We are so lucky to have the Starks here in Santa Rosa.

Yelp
Been to Stark's for years and every time I go I am never disappointed! Had reservations for 6:45pm - walked in and was seated right away. Ambiance feels like fine dining and service was top notch! Ordered filet mignon with mashed potatoes and loaded potatoes. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if you're in the Santa Rosa area!

Yelp
My husband set reservations here for my birthday online. They called him before our dinner time to confirm our reservation. We were greeted by the host and guided to our table right away. The atmosphere is a nice, warm, welcoming place. There are fireplaces throughout the building. Definitely an elegant 5 star vibrancy. Our server was very attentive. We were served with their amazing bread and butter to start off our night. Placed an order for some nice fine Sonoma grape wine. Then onto our fresh oysters appetizer which lit up my eyes. (It doesn't get fresher than this) Finally, onto our entree, medium, well-done steak, served with their amazing house sauce, along with some delicious sides- macaroni & cheese, mash potatoes, and yam fries. Everything was delicious. Every bite screamed in my mouth. Wine & steak.

Yelp
Stark's just gained a new fan. So glad to finally try this place. I've heard nothing but good things from friends. The vibe is really nice. I thought it was would kind of fancy but it's really casual. The staff here are excellent. Super sweet and helpful. It made the experience a lot more enjoyable. We started off with appetizers, which were the Potato Skin Fondue, Crispy Calamari, and complimentary garlic butter bread. I LOVED the crispy calamari the most. It had a sweet chili sauce on it which I loved. The potato skin fondue was surprisingly good. Super crispy and that cheese was a great pair. It's a wonderful share for the table since it comes with a lot and it's really filling. Also that garlic butter bread was so heavenly. I'm dreaming about it still. Now for the main course we got the ribeye and filet mignon, both the choice cuts and medium rare. I have to say the ribeye was my favorite. Delicious, juicy, tender with some fatty pieces and a large cut; so you get a good portion for the price. The filet mignon was also really good but if I had to choose I would go with the ribeye. My partner and I both agreed that the meat here was the best steaks we've had so far. It was even better than one of the popular steakhouses we've been to in the San Jose who charges double the price that Stark does. Highly recommend coming here at least once!
