"A sprawling outdoor beer garden with 24 tap lines just landed atop the Tysons Corner campus of credit card titan Capital One. The 2.5-acre sky garden and public park dubbed The Perch is centered around Starr Hill Biergarten, a 5,000-square-foot bar and lounge with an adjacent amphitheater and lawn seating. Draft lines are filled out by ciders, hard seltzers, and the same popular brews made at Starr Hill Brewery’s Crozet, Virginia facility. An opening list of bar bites includes fried cauliflower, salads, burgers, and pulled chicken sandwiches." - Tierney Plumb

Great rooftop to drink, chill, enjoy video, eat, and do activities. Big screen tv for sports and smaller tvs for sport viewing At the top of Wegmans. 2 hours free garage parking then pay thereafter Starr HILL brewery offers draft, cans, wine, cocktail, and meals. Good service and options Recommend for socializing, dating, and relaxing It is a great use of urban space: a mixed use building for hotel, shopping, working, and socializing. That is the future of the urban center. Also has a very clean bathroom

Great ambience, friendly service, and surprisingly kid friendly on a Friday afternoon. They have a ton of bartenders so you can get your drinks fast. If you order food they text you when it’s ready. Kids are normally running around on the bocce ball areas and the other places for them to climb. They also have live music and the kids play in front of the stage which is fun. Overall a very cool place.

Great atmosphere, great beer selection. Live bands start fairly early, so you can enjoy some music before it gets really busy after dark. Steps from the McLean Metro. Not a big food selection, just a few pricey food trucks. Great place to meet up with friends or take a date. A fun, must-visit brewhouse if you are in Tysons Corner!

Love it! Great atmosphere. Friendly people. Good food options. Good music. Probably crowded at night but nice during the day, plenty of space.

SerpAPI
Great ambiance, nice live music, friendly staff, GREAT beer selections, my group ordered the giant pretzel, burger, Braswirst and pulled BBQ Chicken. I tried them all, the pretzel was ok the burger and bradwirst were DELICIOUS but the bbq chicken wasn’t. Food portions compared to the price not so good. It was also disappointing to not have friends with the burgers instead there was kettle potato chips. Oh and I hope they get the parking validation and we ended up paying $8 for parking. Overall, it’s a nice beer garden definitely coming back but not eating there again.

We first came here before their grand opening and it was awesome. We have since been back several times and we have loved the atmosphere, the beer, and the food. I'm glad they're here in Northern VA!

I really liked this place - mostly outdoor rooftop place with some covered areas. The live music has been great each time I've been. I went with a group and the people who got cocktails liked them. I like their beer so was happy with what they had on tap. Service was quick even though it was pretty busy on a Saturday night (despite the area). Would definitely go back.

Yelp
Food: bartenders were great. My friend orders nachos and we devoured it so fast that I forgot to take a picture. Highly recommend! Service: wonderful bartenders! And huge shoutout to the manager. He's awesome!!! Ambiance: this review is for the BREWPUB. Large two level Brewpub on the street level of the Capital One Hall. It is very clean and plumage the friendliest staff. I really cannot say how much I love them.

Yelp
Starr Hill is a cute biergarten located in Tyson's at the top of the Capital One building. We got there on a Thursday night, and they had a punk cover band playing so loud that you could hear it from the metro. Unfortunately the singing was not very good, but the punk pop music was still a good vibe. The place was packed, so it was hard to find a place to sit. We ordered a round of crushes (orange and pineapple), and both were good. We also split a pretzel that was delicious. We had a really fun time listening to music on the lawn. They also have a corn hole area, but you are not allowed to bring drinks over there. I would check out Starr Hill if you are looking for a fun and popular brewery in VA.

Yelp
This roof top bar "The Perch" caught great breeze despite the hot temperature. It is spacious and open, with a stage for the live band, as well as had corn hole and putt putt. The food was ok, I thought the burger was too well done; but it was a big serving, and the fries were typical. It was better with hot sauce. The potato salad was a better alternative to fries. The mango mule tasted good, the regular mule was also good. The service was quick, and they kept the restrooms clean.

Yelp
The best spot for beer and live music in the outdoors!! Really fun and great for all ages.

Albani C.

Yelp
When it gets crowded, it's not great for group events since reservations are not a thing. However, the covered and uncovered option is nice. Food was a bit overpriced but solid, especially the sliders, chicken tenders, and fries

Jen J.

Yelp
Great venue for families! Lots of places for the kids to run around and a nice spot for live music. A beautiful garden, terraced seating for the live music, and corn hole. Mini golf for an extra price on the other side of the roof!

Yelp
I was back at Starr Hill Biergarten this past Thursday afternoon with four others for a happy hour. Either my standards have gone up or the quality of the food here has gone down (realistically, probably both), but I was left pretty unimpressed with my experience this time around. To order, you can go up to the bar to get a drink or food, but have fun trying to read the menu on the screen. Even if you have 20/20 vision or better, you'll definitely be squinting. Also, there's no price tag next to each item, so you have no idea how much anything is. We got a few appetizers to share along with drinks. SOFT PRETZEL STICKS (x4) These were soft, but in the way where it felt like it came straight out of the microwave. The salt was unevenly distributed on each pretzel, so a couple of us had to scrape some chunks off. When we lifted each stick from the food wax paper, we noticed that some of the checkered red dye imprinted on the pretzel. I'm sure the dye is safe for consumption, but really not a good look. The beer cheese was more orange than expected and definitely an acquired taste. I didn't like it much in the beginning, but I found myself enjoying it more as I continued eating. FRENCH FRIES Pretty standard, they're definitely on the saltier side. They're pretty soggy but nothing ketchup can't save. Again, I have pretty low standards for fries, so I'd eat anything as long as it's edible and can be saved by ketchup. CHICKEN WINGS Each order comes with eight pretty saucy wings. The sauce was on the sweeter side. The wings were enjoyable and the meat came right off the bone. I'd recommend these for an appetizer. We got a variety of drinks and I was able to try a non-alcoholic hot cider (not too sweet, and it was perfect for the windy afternoon) and a raspberry sour. It was fruity but not as juicy as I'd like, but it was a favorite among our table. Seems like some of the cocktail making here can be inconsistent. Someone got an old fashion and depending on the barista, it's either half empty or filled all the way to the top.

Yelp
This place is an adult Shangri-la, I am so mad that I did not know about it sooner. The rooftop location is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is just fun, with lots of space and things to do for adults and kids as well. Plenty of space for your dogs, and a stage for live music. I honestly do not think there is anything not to like. The food is perfect bar food, don't come here expecting a three course meal, but you can get wings, nachos, sliders, fries, etc. I ordered the nachos, sliders and fries and was surprised at how big the portions were, you definitely get your money's worth and the prices are very reasonable. The selection of beers is pretty good and on a Friday evening I did not find myself waiting in line for more than a couple of minutes each time I had to go to the bar. The orange crushes are good here also. The bartenders are very friendly, there is plenty of room to chill. It looks like you have to have reservations to sit on the couch section which is not very big, but there are plenty of chairs and tables to sit with others if you don't mind that. I have nothing bad to say about this place. If anybody complains about the prices they must be from the Midwest or something and don't realize how expensive it is in the DMV. I could not believe how little I spent in comparison to other places with less to offer than here. Will definitely become a regular here for the summer.

Ashley C.

Yelp
The Biergarten is a great space. Plenty of seating and well-kept outdoor space. I went with all my friends who have kids, and there were lots of choices for them to run around. The food service took awhile even though it wasn't very busy when we were there. The beer is fine, but not enough to bring me back. The food truck concept looks cool, so I'd be interested to see what it's like when they are open.

Yelp
Starr Hill is an absolute gem! How have I been missing out on this place? The perfect blend of a lively biergarten, family-friendly atmosphere, and a stage for live music creates an unbeatable ambiance. It's the ideal spot to gather with friends, family, and the dog! The walk-up bar and food service style adds to the casual charm. I had the sliders, and a couple of cocktails and they were pretty great! There is a kid's playground on the premises along with cornhole and putt-putt. Something for everyone!

Aarti B.

Yelp
Great rooftop brewery with 20+ beers, ciders, and seltzers on draft overlooking the beautiful lush gardens and live music at The Perch. The biergarten has ample canopy seating with long benches and tabletops, perfect for groups! You can't make reservations. They have a strict policy of no outside food or drinks. The ambiance is very casual and there's no table service. Rather than ordering through a QR code, place your order at the bar and then you'll get a text alert when the food is ready for pick-up at the long table closest to the bar. The line is always pretty short and you can get a drink within 5-10 min, the food takes longer and even up to 1/2 hour for fries. I would stick to the beer on draft, the cocktails can be hit/miss depending on the bartender, the draft drinks tend to have better consistency. The Wildberry Mule cocktail and Pina Colada Sangria and Peach Seltzer on draft were my picks while the Bourbon Smash, Passionfruit Mojito, Pina Colada Mojito, and the Passionfruit Seltzer were misses. On the flip side, the bartenders poured a generous amount of Prosecco for Mimosas, much appreciated! The bottled Angry Orchard apple cider is generally my go-to. There's always a mocktail on the menu (came in handy when I was pregnant!) The menu is very limited to simple bar food (bbq pulled pork sandwich, burger, grilled cheese, hot dog, fries, kettle chips). Wish there were more vegetarian options like charcuterie board, hummus and crackers, nachos, mac and cheese, etc. While I give credit for having a Veggie Burger on the menu, it's sad and disappointing. It has a very smoky meaty flavor (from the grill, not the patty) with lackluster toppings - the vegan cheese is disgusting. I would swap out the kettle chips and pay the upcharge for fries. The doughy pretzel sticks are quite salty and a step up from the movie theater. They are good for absorbing the alcohol! My biggest issue with the fries is the tiny ketchup packets make such a mess! I wish there were dipping sauce cups with a large ketchup pump. Despite these minor complaints, I love coming here with family and fries. So glad The Perch opened up, Starr Hill Biergarten is a great spot to kick back and relax with a beer or 2!

Yelp
Remarkable setting to enjoy a brew. Would absolutely return. This is urban design ingenuity at its greatest.

Yelp
Such a great outdoor rooftop spot to hangout at when the weather is nice! There's food, drinks, and it's family friendly. It's a great spot to catch sport games and hangout with a group of friends I can't wait until it warms up again so I can go back! I also really like that the perch put mini golf spot is right next to it.

Yelp
It was my first time here, but not my last. It was very crowded on a Tuesday evening. I was there as part of one of my meetup groups, and I enjoyed myself, but seating was difficult, and I ended up on the ground in the grassy area between the bar and the stage. It was also hard talking to people since there was drag bingo. Sure, it was nice entertainment, but that's not what I went there for. It was very crowded on a Tuesday evening. It was also hard talking to people since there was drag bingo. The food was okay. The ordering system was fine, except the guy taking my order didn't know what he was doing and couldn't hear me. He took down my phone number wrong, so I never got texted. After 20 minutes, I had to go check on my food. It was cold, as it had been sitting out forever. Please train your employees to verify the correct number and name before someone leaves the ordering/register area. I got a Mixed Berry hard seltzer, and it was awful. Again, the guy wasn't listening and gave me something else. I will go back, but I will make sure my order was heard and that my phone number was entered correctly. I look forward to seeing other areas of the perch when I return. Parking was super easy, and the first two hours were free, which is very nice. I recommend a visit here. I will be back.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Starr Hill Biergarten and I was really pleasantly surprised. What a cool place! Eleven floors up to a big outdoor play space with views of the Tysons Corner skyline. It's December, so not much happening outdoors, but the small heated tent was cozy, warm, and festively decorated. The beers were great, especially the Warm Up Spiced Winter Ale. Service was friendly and prompt. We ordered food and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap was excellent - just the right spice level, proportion of ingredients and firmly wrapped. The fries were tasty too, and my partner liked the brat.

James H.

Yelp
Went back here for the first time in almost a year and had a great experience. Lots of seating space for groups or couples. Turf for kids to play around and sit. Plenty of beer options and food options that are easy to snack on as well. Live music on the stage or they play whatever game is on the big TV. Just an overall fun spot. I believe there's also a putt putt course on the level which would be fun. Service was quick for drinks which is expected.

Yan W.

Yelp
Fun place to hang out but parking is like throwing your body down a thrill ride at a water park. You don't know who's going to hit you next. You park and elevator yourself up to the roof. The food is decent and they have a great happy hour. The beer is soso. I enjoy the fire pits if you can find a seat but it can get pretty windy and crowded up there. They have hot cider during the fall months.

Heather H.

Yelp
My partner really enjoyed JOMO. It "was not at all displeasing." I loved the Virginia Peaches. We are having a lovely midday respite on what is likely the last beautiful temperate summer day of 2024. Our bartender, Kristen, is fantastic. Really a great experience.

Ajay M.

Yelp
Really cool place on the top floor of the Capital One Center at the Perch. The Biergarten has a wide selection of beer, a few wines, and a decent selection of bar food. Kid friendly, dog friendly, live music, and good company. All of the servers were friendly, and the drink and food service was quick and efficient. We elected to go with the Perch Burger and the BBQ Pulled-Chicken Sandwich. They were both fantastic! For the beers we went with the Hot Pants Mexican Lager and Murphy's Gold American Lager. Both were great. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Global A.

Yelp
Went for brunch - nice pub environment at a nice location but not a brunch place. Hope they can improve the quality of food served. Skip the coffee.

Yelp
When denizens of the DMV hear the phrase "Tysons Corner" a few phrases usually come to mind: "Perpetual traffic congestion" "Concrete Jungle" "Overpriced condos" "Home of the large consulting firms" But after my numerous visits to the Starr Hill Biergarten dating back to fall of 2021, a new phrase should be added to the Tysons Corner lexicon - specifically "Cool place to hang out." I've been a long time fan of the Starr Hill Brewery when they first burst onto the micro-brew scene in 2005 (originally based out of Charlottesville), before moving to larger operational centers in Crozet and Roanoke, Virginia. Their beers have a nice mix of hoppy IPAs as well as flavorful seasonal brews. And I gotta applaud the gumption of the Starr Hill group to open up this beer garden in the late summer / early fall of 2021, on the aptly named Perch - atop the Capital One Center in the ever burgeoning "new Tysons Corner" corridor. While most businesses were shutting down during the pandemic, they bucked that trend. After parking in the garage and taking the elevator up to the Perch level, the Starr Hill biergarten has a nice covered patio section, as well as as an open air amphitheater which hosts live (and usually free) musical acts during the summer. I definitely enjoy the open air vibe, and there is plentiful outdoor seating, including some comfy couches; only bummer is on hot sunny days (which the summer has seen an inordinately high number of), there is no real shade due to lack of sun umbrellas...note for the owners for future improvements. I stopped by recently to catch the opening weekend of college football with some buddies, and I ordered myself the Oktoberfest and split an order of the house potato chips. Honestly, the beers are priced very modestly for the Tysons area. Most of the brews are between $4.50-$6 with specialty brews priced higher. At 4.8% ABV, the Oktoberfest had a nice punch to it, without inducing an alcoholic haze. Brewed in the tradition of German Marzen lagers, it had a semi-hop start but a smooth finish. It was perfect for a late summer afternoon. Food wise, the offerings are pretty pedestrian. I usually just get chips or the fries so I'll have something starchy in my stomach. Some of the folks in my group got the burgers, pretzels, etc - to me, it was all forgettable. Stick with the beers. I don't come here during the weekdays, but the bartender did mention that the place gets fairly busy with the suit wearing lanyard crowd after 5pm. Starr Hill Biegarten is a cool place to hang out and less pretentious than most of the other places to grab a drink and chill in the Tysons area. Definitely worth checking it out if you're in the area.

Amy N.

Yelp
Starr Hill provides a much-needed casual, central meeting spot in Tysons-Mclean with a nice beer selection plus cocktail and a couple mocktail options and snacks. Fun for work happy hours, meet-ups, families, and pups alike. Commandeer a spot then order at one of two counters. Be prepared for any weather conditions because it's entirely outside and only some of the space is covered/shaded.

John L.

Yelp
Cool outdoor venue 'perched' above Capital One building! It's a rooftop oasis with greenery, TVs, and Beer!

Shawn F.

Yelp
Fun spot to hang out in the McLean area. There's live music most days in the Spring/Summer time and plenty of space to sit or stand every time I've been there. The bar serves beer, wine, and cocktails. There are a few bar food type items like fries, burgers, and potato salad. If that's not your thing there are 2 food trucks and a hotel restaurant also accessible from the Perch roof top as well.

John J.

Yelp
Starr Hill Biergarten is on the 11th floor of the Capital One Center rooftop. It's really cool on a nice day or evening. There's a stage for live music a massive TV screen for movies or sporting events. The burger was really good. ... super tasty and juicy. The fries that comes with it is good ... needs salt and ketchup very bland otherwise. The beer that stood out the most for was the Love Wheat beer. The rooftop area is called the Perch, which has other venues... it's great for families and pets.

Evan P.

Yelp
Absolutely great spot in Tysons just off the metro. It's s little tricky to find as you need to take an elevator up to a rooftop and once you find it you are greeted with a nice view of the city, delicious beer, and a number of activities. One thing that struck me about Starr Hill was the different crowds of people - families with you children, people with dogs, professionals coming after work - to listen to the live music, watch sports games on TV, enjoy the spacious fields for dogs and playing or picnicking, and taking in N overall chill vibe. It was not overly crowded (although I could see it being really busy on a warmer summer day) and it was great having access to food trucks and mini golf. I'm looking forward to stopping in more often.

Leah K.

Yelp
Awesome views in the Tyson's area! Really cool and hip spot up on the 11th floor! Lots of beer options and other cocktails- would definitely recommend the slushee! Plenty of seating options, lots of screens to watch the game, and bathrooms close by. Wish there were more food options but will still be back for drinks and to enjoy the ambiance

Casey Lyn B.

Yelp
I have not experienced waiting long to order your food and drinks, so I really commend this place keeping it going with a lot of people in this biergarten. Been here several times already since it opened. I cannot remember the drinks I have ordered but so far their beers are really good. BUT food is too expensive. And the food was average, not that great. I would recommend eating elsewhere and just drinking their beer.

Alex K.

Yelp
I went here after work with some coworkers and had a great time. The biergarten was lively and packed with people. There was also some outdoor games and live music. The selection of food and drinks was fairly wide. I ended up ordering a Bold Rock and the Giant Pretzel. Both were great but, I was a little disappointed that the pretzel ended up being 4 pretzel sticks instead of one giant pretzel (it was still large enough to be split between two people). The area has a good amount of seating which can fill up quickly. But there is still enough room to enjoy your own space comfortably in a grass area or even standing by some long tables. It was a bit strange though that for as large as the rooftop is, only a small portion of it is the biergarten. I recommend this as a place to go with friends or coworkers. It is a low stress environment with a great view of the Tysons area.

Marjan W.

Yelp
I have visited a few times. It's very windy up top and drinks are pricey. The first time I ever visited, I paid $14 for a mango margarita and the wind knocked this off the table when I had only drank half. I'm used to DC and nova prices but $14 for a non frozen/jumbo margarita at just a brewery was a lot. Having this knocked over by the wind was also really unfortunate. On of the times I visited was on a Sunday afternoon and there were so many kids running around everywhere, it felt like a zoo. I always love a rooftop bar but overall, this place just isn't my vibe. The views are just of the metro and apartment buildings but nothing special.

Roy A.

Yelp
By far the best and most relaxing Biergarten in the area. It's on the rooftop and plenty of parking in the Wegman's lot. Seating on the rooftop at bar stools or tables on the turf. Live music on the day we visited. Luke Powers delivered a strong performance. Great selection on tap and good food for a pub. Service always was quick, texting when food was ready. Area for the kids if you have any. Highly recommended.

Gabriela L.

Yelp
Wow! Where do I start? No issues with this place whatsoever. When I went there was a country singer playing (she was very good). I love that it wasn't too loud but it wasn't too quiet. There's a nice green to sit and watch the show and an area to play cornhole. It was 3pm on a Saturday and we still found seats. Kids are allowed but the place is big enough that it's not a big deal. For food, I got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and it was pretty good, standard American food. For a drink, I got the Pina colada sangria. For $10, it was strong enough which was surprising! Workers were friendly too. Will definitely go back!

JC R.

Yelp
Cool vibe in this high end high real estate area in Maclean (Tysons) VA! Place is located on the rooftop atrium of the Capital One building attached to the Watermark Hotel. Dog friendly with synthetic grass and a few scattered benches and corn holes suggest also family friendly though I'd advised against below 21! During this visit, Uncle Jesse (90s tribute band) was playing was reason for this 3rd visit! Ordered brats & fries combo $15 + 1.75 surcharge for fries vice default chips, IPA, Moscow Mule & Hemingway Daiquiris, were okay! Hubby had too much fun in fact he bought a round of whiskey shots for each member of Uncle Jesse (whopping $90+ tips for 6 shots total!

Yasuyo T.

Yelp
It is a beautiful place. It has a new view of the Tysons area. When we came here, it was windy. We were more worried about flying the food off from the wind. I think this place has potential, but the food and beers are average.

Luisa A.

Yelp
So fun. Good for groups and dog friendly! Food was tasty and the staff was very attentive.

Rachel F.

Yelp
Love to come here when the weather is nice, obviously. It is a rooftop bar. There is a decent selection of both beer and cocktails. They do also have a small menu of food. Bartenders are always friendly and quick. They usually have either a live band/singer and have a giant projector screen for sports.

Lauren F.

Yelp
Good drinks, just don't watch a game here. 30 minutes until closing time, they turned off one of the most anticipated college football games of the season (Alabama-UGA) with probably 45 seconds left in the game. Got told to leave 5 minutes before closing time with half a beer left. Went to close my tab at 11:55 and was told they shut off the system and I got charged automatic gratuity. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but probably won't come back (at least not during football season, or near closing time).

Fred L.

Yelp
Went there a few times to meet up with friends after work. Very lively outdoor venue with a great selection of beer and other drinks. The staff is really friendly. Depending on the day they have live music on stage or a game on the big screen. There are 4 bocce ball courts, a large chess game, food trucks and putt-putt golf nearby. And the coolest part is that all of this is on the 11th floor. Great fun, views and drinks. Definitely worth checking out.

Holly G.

Yelp
Second time visiting and love it! Ambiance is wonderful, best outdoor venue in Tyson's. I ordered something I wasn't a huge fan of and they exchanged it no questions asked! Excellent customer service :) Love the freedom mule! And they have heaters under the covered patio for chilly nights. Will continue to come back!

Melissa F.

Yelp
Awesome outdoor area. Great for drinking + snacking, or just sitting and listening to the local music. We came for the first time during Perchfest and were not disappointed! Good space for social distancing. There's a ton of tables - depending on the time of day, some in the blazing Sun. Recommend the pretzel sticks if you're looking for a shareable snack.

Evan L.

Yelp
Cool vibes here! As expected they've got a great selection of beers- I had to get the Wahoowa to rep my alma mater. If you like hoppy beers I definitely recommend that one. They've also got a few other food/drink trucks, mini golf, bocce ball, and live music which was great. The band that was playing when I was there played a wide selection of karaoke-worthy hits, from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to the Strokes to Radiohead. Definitely added nice vibes and got our heads bobbing. I noticed some people commented about how crowded it gets near the bar where the seating is- I can confirm that's definitely true, so be wary when coming on weekends or during happy hour. Overall though, it's nice to have a place like this to go out at night in the Tysons area. Will be coming back for sure!

Carly C.

Yelp
Rating is so high based on the ambiance!! I mean it doesn't get better than that space. Beautiful views at sunset. I am not a huge beer drinker but I think their beer is just okay. On my next visit, I am excited to order more food. We got the pretzel which I probably would not get again but we loved the fried cauliflower. I went for a fun happy house spot after work and it did the job. It does get chilly up there so come prepared.

Stacy H.

Yelp
This was my first visit to The Perch/Starr Hill Biergarten. It is surrounded by the Capital One complex of buildings up on the 11th Floor above the Wegmans. It's a nice outdoor space with plenty of seating. Seating is a bit limiting when there is a thunderstorm. It was stormy the night our group was there. Unfortunately neither the other food trucks nor the Perch Putt are open on Mondays. Star Hill has a good selection of beer, wine & cocktails plus a selection of bar food. Good service and a nice place to meet friends.

Yelp
Nice spot at the top (roof level) of The Perch! I enjoyed the pretzels. Very family and dog friendly!!!!

Yelp
Really cool area to hang out with friends! My husband and I have been meaning to check out this place and finally went with some friends during Perchfest. Good vibes with live music and fun area to chill with friends. Drinks were good but haven't tried their food yet. There are also food trucks in the area (though you can't bring drinks in which was kind of odd) and there's also mini golf which we'd love to try some time.

Yelp
We had a great time at the BrewPub downstairs. It was too hot (110°) to go upstairs so Starhill brought the live musician downstairs. We had a private party where the service was amazing! Everyone had a great time, wonderful drinks. Try the espresso martinis!!

Yelp
What a cool place to hang out! we swung by during the RP show at the capital one building. Ordered some salted pretzel and a few drinks and chilled. Very spacious and opened, makes me feel like I'm on a high rise but not.

Yelp
After a morning of running errands with my fiance, we decided to head to Starr Hill to decompress. This has been on my list of places to check out since it opened. Located at the rooftop of the Capital One center at the Perch, the Biergarten was easy to find. You do have to pay for parking and they do not validate at Starr Hill. I was told if you purchase at Wegmans you can get validated parking. For the area, it is expected. The establishment is spacious and you get rooftops views. I asked if there were any happy hour deals (Friday afternoon), but they said no. Either way, the prices are not that bad. They have a good selection of beers, cocktails and seltzers. The employees were all nice and helpful. We got a couple of beers and some fries to enjoy the afternoon weather. If drinking is not your thing, there are other things to do like lawn games, food trucks and even mini golf at the perch. It is easy to spend a few hours here. Since it is on the rooftop, your experience will depend on the weather. They do have a covered area, but I was told if there is lighting they will close. It was a little windy when we were there. This place is worth a stop just to have a beer, enjoy the weather, or even wait out 495 traffic. I would definitely come again!
