This beautiful spot is THE culinary highlight of Shelter Island. From breakfast burritos to burgers, to coffee and smoothies, this place can do it all and do it well. They are beyond welcoming and open to everyone that’s walks in. Since moving away I’ve missed their hospitality and food more than ever. So go in and have a try they are definitely worth it!!

Great coffee, truly extraordinary baked goods, and some of the best smoked meats and Mexican food you will find on Long Island. But most of all, a special place with a genuine community and sense of belonging.

Just visited here on thursday, July 31st, on burger night. We called ahead to confirm that this location would be open until 7 pm. Me and my party arrived at 6:45. We placed our orders and I asked the cashier if I could order anything off the menu, or just burgers. She told me "Sweetie, the kitchen closes in 10 minutes so we cant make you anything." Ive never heard of a kitchen not making food when its open. When I decided to accept this answer from her, she misheard me on one of my coffee orders and made and iced coffee instead of an iced latte. Then, when I asked her to correct this, she spilled out the drink which I paid for, then charged me for the correct one. She made my hot chai latte iced instead, I had noticed when she read the entire ticket out to me. On top of all of this, she kicked us out because we were sitting and "enjoying" our drinks which we paid for. Its a real shame because I frequent this place. Dissapointed.

This is a hidden gem. Fantastic homey atmosphere with large selection and THE BEST coffee I've ever had! We had a great table in the front window. Staff is very friendly as were all of the customers and dogs lol

Gorgeous cafe run by the most delightful couple. Beautiful coffee, fresh baked goods, my favourite breakfast menu ever, divine jams and preserves and a fabulous, cosy community atmosphere. This is a must-stop for anyone visiting Shelter Island, and a daily visit for locals!

Neat little gem of a place! Great variety of food- something for the everyone in the family to enjoy. Nice laidback atmosphere. Glad we lucked upon this charming place!
