We came to Manhattan for an entire week and found right around our corner this magnificent family owned coffee shop with a diverse menu and delicious coffee. The owners are the sweetest people and so attentive and cordial. Papa’s name Irfan Tas, his wife Mama’s name Cemile Tas and their awesome daughter Gunes Tas and their son Deniz will be happy to provide the best service and flavors possible! Make sure you stop by if you’re close by, they are located at 454 9th ave West in Manhattan NY. Thank you Papa, Mama and their son Deniz and their amazing daughter Gunes for making us feel so welcome every day we visited you guys for amazing coffee and delicious pastries! Next time we will stop by and make sure we say hi and enjoy your place!

Amazing vanilla chai latte! We have a place in our hometown we thought was our favorite. This is absolutely amazing! Very quaint, eccentric locally owned shop. Lots of vintage album covers on the wall.

Google
Came here for breakfast and was really impressed. The service was very friendly and polite and the breakfast/coffee was reasonably priced. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and it was a good amount of food and delicious. I also liked the decor inside. Would come again if I am in the area

Google
Great coffee place offering Turkish coffee and good deserts including Baklava. The place is small but it has about 12 total seats.

Popped in to rest my feet after some writing and had a great experience! I asked for a suggestion-- I think I was made an iced latte with rose vanilla and chocolate? I told them I like everything and this didn't disappoint. The coffee was delicious and the vi e inside is cozy and comfortable. I definitely will make it a usual stop when im in the area!

So glad we found this place on the first day of our trip to NYC, after we had their coffee we didn’t need to look anywhere else! We made 4 trips and tried their coffee, breakfast, pastries and it still wasn’t enough - I will be counting down the days until I’m back! This family is so kind and welcoming and they have the coolest decor and music taste. Everyone should try this place, especially the baklava!!! ❤️

Google
A small and cozy cafe, with a beautiful interior, you can while away the time before the appointment, drinking a cup of tea or coffee with dessert, as I did ) I took a cappuccino with oat milk and a danish with cherries, I really liked it, it was very tasty. Danish was brought to me on a very beautiful plate and coffee in a cup, it is nice, because basically everywhere they serve in disposable cups. The waiting time passed quickly and pleasantly with good music and I happily ran about my business. Thank you Starstruck coffee.

Google
This was one of the best discoveries I made in New York. The food is absolutely delicious and this is probably the best coffee I've had here. The moment you step into the shop you feel and see the comfortable atmosphere this shop has. It is small but that's what makes it so sweet. But most importantly the people working here are very sweet. They are an immediate pick-me-up and treated us very kindly. I am here with my friends from Germany and the man here can speak German. So that was a very nice way to connect with people here. I will definitly come back to this place as often as I can:)

Yelp
Amazing blue matcha! Great customer service and cute little coffee shop! 10 out 10! I already miss this place now that I'm back in CA

Yelp
What an absolutely charming cafe! Inside is tiny but, its well decorated. Giving off that 90s goth coffee shop vibe complete with soft rock music wafting in the distance. The menu is classic coffee shop fare, except for one special: the Lithium latte. Described as a dirty chai with blue matcha, it was nice! A touch floral, a touch bitter with the classic chai spices. A lovely sipping component paired with a rosemary biscuit. That truly was my highlight: it was buttery, layered, hot and had nice hits of salt and rosemary. I sat there enjoying my offerings while reading a book. As I read, you could hear the owner talking to a majority of repeat customers like old friends. There was also a playable electro piano going off, which be a hit or miss depending on your definition of a coffee shop. But overall, would definitely be back! It's a cozy coffee shop tucked away in the city's busyness. Would well recommend a visit if you need a break!

Yelp
I've passed Starstruck Coffee many times but it was always on my way home so I never got to stop in. The other day I wandered by in the morning on the way to work and I'm so glad I got to stop in. Starstruck has an awesome rock and roll/music theme with albums and instruments serving as decoration. I ordered my usual "test drink" for cafes: a Dirty Chai with Oatmilk (iced because of the season). I took in the beautiful interior (and felt a tinge of nostalgia here and there) for a few minutes and then my drink was ready! The drink was tasty and not overly sweet. I tasted a bit of spice too. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was good for sure. Service was friendly and efficient so no worries there. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
Stopped in here instead of the deli down the street, just to try them out since my boyfriend wanted coffee. Ordered: egg and cheese on an everything bagel + rosemary biscuit (from a local bakery)+ bottle of OJ + large black coffee. His bagel was phat -- loaded up and came with a fresh (unexpected) side salad which complimented the heaviness of the egg and cheese (i think he said it was gouda or similar). My biscuit was huge too and was great with a fried egg in between it-- egg made at home. BF loved his coffee and thought it was rich, flavorful, and way better than nearby spots. I loved the decor so much + the family duo working the front and kitchen. The rock and roll, kinda gothic/victorian vibes are immaculate. Couple of tables for seating, good non/coffee drinks selection, large menu of breakfast foods and wide array of pastries in the bakery case. Bit more expensive, sure, but you're supporting 1. local 2. something unique and 3. a shop that doesn't just sell the exact same baked goods and sandwiches as the next few.

Yelp
I got suckered in by the "Blue Matcha" sign out front - after passing it a few times I decided to try it out. The Blue Matcha is fantastic! The space inside is quite small but there are a few tables and the vibe is nice for staying a while. It's music themed and the woman working was very nice. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Overall: 2.9/5 I often noticed their A-frame sign on my commute to work, and the vibrant blue drink featured on it always caught my eye. On my last morning of commuting, I finally decided to give it a try. The cafe has a distinctive charm, blending an antique aesthetic with a rock & roll vibe. It's a very small space, with just 2-3 tables, I ordered the hot Lithium Coffee ($7.50) with Oat Milk ($1.11), while my coworker got a hot matcha latte. The drink size was generous, and the blue color from the butterfly pea tea was striking. Unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to the visuals. It was heavy on spices, and I honestly can't recall the other ingredients beyond the tea. I couldn't finish the whole drink so I felt bad for wasting. The drinks take a bit of time to prepare, so if you're in a hurry, plan accordingly or save your visit for when you have more time.

Yelp
Perfect morning coffee spot Great music, strong coffee and a great vibe. Enjoy a small and cozy environment in the morning or anytime of the day

Yelp
This coffee shop is right on my way to work everyday, so when I saw it opening, I was pretty excited. Unfortunately, was pretty let down. They were advertising a free croissant with an espresso drink, but I was pretty disappointed because it was just a cold Costco croissant. Not sure if they're selling those croissants now that the free promo is over, but I sure hope not. The espresso drink was also unbelievably bitter; beans burned to a toast. The stop itself is pretty cute, with a decent amount of seating. Really convenient location too, unfortunately, the coffee and pastry offerings were really lacking.

Yelp
Very cool atmosphere. The Barista made me her favorite latte on my way for a walk along the High Line.

Yelp
What a cute hole in the wall while walking down 9th Ave, perfect place to pop in for a quick coffee and pastry. They just opened their doors recently and it's a nice hidden gem. The barista is super kind and efficient. Prices are in the ballpark as everywhere in the city and is on par the latte was the perfect pick me up for my walk. Will add this to my coffee shop list

Yelp
We loved the coffee and the super cute atmosphere! We will definitely be back when we travel to New York City!

Yelp
I like their matcha latte and I usually don't like matcha. Also the hot taro latte is delicious. And so is the chai latte! Friendly staff and good vibes. Love the music-themed decor and the music they play too!

Yelp
We had a couple of hours to wait for our train at Penn Station and wanted a place to hang out. I found Starstruck on Yelp and it was just what we were looking for!

Shazia H.

Yelp
The absolute best staff, they go out of their way with their kindness. Bacon egg and cheese super tasty, had to order another one! Excellent cappuccino and Turkish coffee

Yelp
Stumbled upon this while staying Madison Square Garden. Delicious coffee and gluten-free cappuccino muffin. Fun music theme, calming decor, four two top tables. Great choice to sit or to go!

Yelp
I was doing laundry next door so this new coffee shop was a lifesaver. It's small, but there are still plenty of seats. It has old album covers and concert posters on the walls, which I enjoyed. My iced mocha was delicious, as was my croissant. They also have salads and sandwiches. The service was great, too. I will definitely come back. (It's near 35th St., on 9th.)

Carrot P.

Yelp
The service and the ambiance are great. The coffee is very good but just not hot enough for me. Next time I will see if I can get them to make it hotter. About half way through my to go cup it was down to room temperature. Good otherwise.

Yelp
Awesome spot with great vibes and character. Coffee was great, hyped to have this place on 9th!

Yelp
Very nice small business. Latte ordered was delicious and prepared upon ordering. It's worth the small wait for it. Will definitely be returning and hope they prosper.
