Necessary Minnesota State Fair Foods | Eater Twin Cities

"Sold by the hundreds of thousands, the roast corn here is Minnesota-grown sweet corn cooked over a fire and dressed in sweet cream butter; about 200,000 ears are sold each year, you can recycle the cobs in nearby bins, and if you stick around near close there’s even a nightly tradition—the corn dance." - Joy Summers

Always a top food choice at mn state fair and worth the 5 to 10 minute wait in line! Ive been getting this corn on a cob ladt 40 plus years and so greatful for tjus option at the fair. Only thing I can think of for improvement is to offer outside the fair and in winter months/not just late summer

It’s $5 this year and amazing corn: fresh picked from MN- they have the nondairy down because I asked for one without butter and it was maybe a second more and it was in my hand.

The corn is tasty. The line may seem long but it is very fast.

I was the 10 corns that have 5 of $25 Coupons and paid the rest in big bill. I got stuck on how to explain to the cashier lady. She was super sweet and clear things out for me, I can use all 5 and pay $15 (which I paid in big bill). The older worker helps teenage workers wrap my corns in foil. Thank you so much. I was the only one who got sent out to buy corns for my group. $4 each.

Wow! The Corn Roast at the Minnesota State Fair is just amazing. The corn is super yummy; I've tried roasted corn at fairs and festivals too numerous too count, but this corn sets the standard. The experience is somewhat amazing to see as well, as the large staff is working so hard in the heat of the roaster and pumping out fresh ears of corn nearly as fast as the hungry crowds line up. I've yet to see corn sitting around waiting for customers. Mmm mmm!
