Come here any time I’m in the neighborhood, great folks running and owning the place. Bought a few shirts and a mini backpack, love them all. Once I get my money up, I will come back for more. Support an authentic small business with great style!

A fresh spot to get geared up! Whether it’s hats/tees, Dope pins, patches or that satchel! They also do pop ups and events here which is hella dope! Salute.

I purchased a patchwork grey and teal hat. The hat is just what I expected. Very high quality and super dope. Not like most products you order online where you order something and it’s completely not what you expected. This is just what I expected. The hat is so nice, I went and ordered two more hats as soon as they were restocked. Can’t wait to receive them. Keep it up State of Flux!!

Absolutely best clothing shop in the mission. The style is phenomenal, they bring in great unique brands and have their own lines of clothing. The prices are super reasonable, especially on Valencia. And the best part is the folks who run the shop are genuinely kind, and their music taste is great.

I love this company led by a group of great guys who want to build community and help others win! Not only have I come to the store products but also have come in just to have good conversation and enjoy the vibes. I’m from Oakland and I’m not the biggest fan of crossing the bridge but for State Of Flux I would do it without thinking! LOVE!

I paid for a weekender bag which was never delivered. I got 3 of the 4 items I ordered, and they were nice, but I paid for an expensive bag I never got and now I'm getting serial e-mails wanting feedback about my bag i never got. ???? Deliver what you sell, or it's just another internet rip off.

Once again, I went to S of Flux with my teen aged grandchildren when they were visiting from the East Coast. We had a great time! The people who work there are friendly and fun. We picked outa bunch of stuff and I continue to be impressed with the quality of the products available in this store. Plus, the clothing is MEANINGFUL. My grandson got a tee shirt that says "Expect nothing. Appreciate Everything." What a great value. I highly recommend both the experience of this shop and the service. Don't take my word for it; check it out for yourself.

I love having State of Flux in the neighborhood. I purchased my husband a satin Warriors jacket for Christmas, and he is obsessed with it. A lot of XL jackets don't fit him in the arms, but this was perfect. I have also gotten him a few hats and while many flat brimmed hats don't fit his dreads, the State of Flux ones always do. I got a La Mission tote for a friend as well and she loves it. You really can't go wrong with their products, and they are such chill guys.

My husband got all sorts of great gems in this store! Focused on men's clothing with inspirational sports icons and sayings on the walls. Baby stroller and dog friendly with a super friendly shop keeper that also has a girl. wearing with hand sanitizers to be safe. Bought a few hats, long sleeve, and face masks. High quality products with in house In Flux brands and others including international. Come check out and support local!

I needed a new mask and stumbled upon this shop! Small business, black owned, the decor and vibes were chill - perfect place to support! I have a small head so majority of masks are too big on me - they offered to adjust my mask. Thank you!! Definitely stop by and check out this place especially if you're into SF-based bags, hats, tees. I saw some cool designs.

Cool designs, good selections, and great quality gears. Clean looking storefront with friendly staffs. Would like to see more customized New Eras in the display! Keep up the works!

I was doing some shopping and decided to check out this store. Simple, Organized, Clean. Customer service was great, gentlemen made sure to answer all my questions. They have fitting rooms for you to try clothes. I paid $40 dollars for a t shirt and $40 dollars for a hat. I was okay with that given the clothes is made in store and the quality is very good. If you are in San Fran this is a good spot to get some custom street wear.

This store has some great kicks but all sizes start at 9 and I'm an 8. When I complained the sales person seemed to think it was funny and said they only stocked "the money sizes," but I'm standing there, green in hand, and my money's no good. I was interested in buying shirts too but it was such a turn off they lost both my shoe and clothing purchases. Its weird because they're in such an Asian/Latinx city where many men like myself walk on elegantly compact feet. Also, about half of their reviews are from women, who probably aren't buying the shoes, which are colorful and frankly girly, part of their appeal to me. Their website landing page featuring their staff includes some modestly sized brown folks, including two Latinas, who I'm guessing can't buy shoes where they work. So if your'e looking for Sasquatch sizes this is your jam; otherwise look for a store that caters to the diversity of its potential customer (not to mention its workers)

Such nice staff, I've purchased 2 shirts from them. Yesterday I came in and bought the gorgeous lady liberty tee. The 2 different times I've been in both guys were very nice to me. What I love about this store unlike other urban boutiques is I don't feel awkward going in, as a girl you just want to shop and not feel they're wondering why you are in a men's shop. The vibe of this place is great, even the guy who came out of the back said hi, it's the little things ! Wish them the best of luck :)

Love this store.... I am a girl, but I like wearing men's tee shirts, gives me the 90s vibes. I come in every once in while, sometimes I get a tee or a beanie... sometimes nothing... each associate have been really nice, helpful, and sweet...

This is where you get fresh! I come here to get that beanie or hat that no one else has! Plenty of tees from them or other designers. They also do pop ups in the art scene!

This might be the most friendliest staff of people I have encountered. I live close by and always walk in to check things out and they are SO nice! They are very helpful and appreciative. The clothes are dope as well! My boyfriend and I have purchased a couple shirts that are really well made and good color selections. Beanies are a must too! Go check this spot out for an overall cool experience.

Awesome selection of gear, a bit long for some things, but nothing you can't get tailored for cheap (and the clothes are reasonably priced as well!)

I just keep coming back for more. The shop is the coolest men's clothing store in the neighborhood, hands down. The concept is ambitious and their execution is great. They stock a bunch of their own designs (which have been my go-to) and they curate other designers and streetwear brands. Go see these guys!

State of Flux is THE go to spot for small batch, locally made apparel. The shop is new but the guys in charge are anything but. They always welcome you with a friendly face and style suggestions. They are and have been an active part of their community. And this SOF project is an incredible thing that every native, local, and visitor should go out of their way to support.

I recently attended the opening of this store. Their designs and clothing are amazing, but the people that work in and run this store are their best asset. All are easy to talk to with lots of ideas and very, very helpful. The shop is organized very clearly, and I like the fact that they plan to host community events regularly. In this day of companies taking advantage of their clients and communities, State of Flux is a welcome breath of fresh air.

Such a cool space! they sell clothes (technically mens but I always find something I like) and there's even a photo studio/workspace in the back where they make a lot of their products. Staff are always friendly and super helpful. Not to mention POC owned!!
