We stopped in for appetizers after our visit to the aquarium. It is about a 2 minute walk from the entrance. Lovely outdoor dining area. The service was friendly but I think they forgot about us after our food was delivered. We had the lobster bisque, clam chowder and steamed mussels in a red sauce. We also had a Peaky Blinders cocktail which was delicious! we spent $58 before tip. Would go back for sure.

We had a great dining experience overall at State Street Provision. For appetizers, we tried the Korean BBQ wings and the Jonah crab dip. The crab dip was absolutely delicious, and the warm lobster roll I had for the main course was equally impressive. The wings were flavorful, though a bit too spicy for my taste. The only downside was the fries; they were unfortunately burnt and didn't taste good. However, the quality of the other dishes more than made up for this. We hope the restaurant can improve the fries in the future. Overall, a solid experience and we look forward to coming back!

The lobster bisque and the scallops are very tasty. The outside seats are good on a nice day but do expect a lot of traffic in that area. Service staff was friendly but busy. :)

Great place to stop for lunch following an afternoon of walking. Our server, Lawrence, did an excellent job explaining the menu and presenting options for us. The atmosphere is warm and has the typical hustle and bustle of any busy restaurant. We ordered the brunch burger and two spicy chicken sandwiches. The brunch burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. The pickles gave it a real nice zip. It was juicy and flavorful. Everyone agreed that the fries were amazing. Not a single one remained on the plate. The spicy chicken sandwiches were okay. We both did not get a good slice of chicken. It was lacking in meat - very thin and dry. The breading was tasty and we enjoyed the slaw on top. Because it was so dry, it would have benefited from more ranch aioli. Would probably not order again or recommend. Overall, still pretty tasty and would return to try other items on the menu. I appreciated the English Breakfast tea on the way out!

Great food, cocktails. Scallops were perfectly cooked. Clam chowder was the best we tried during our visit. Winter Apple and Peeky Blinders drinks were superb. Loved that this was a quick walk from the Marriott, because the weather was cold and rainy. The service was fast, polite, attentive.

I had a great time here. Outdoor seating is pretty nice, and service was great. I got probably the best old fashioned I ever had (called the peaky blinder), so definitely go for it! Their burger was also very very good, highly recommended. However, their lobster roll was below average and fries were average at best. Still, I had a good time worth 5 stars, just know what to pick!

Absolutely wonderful brunch! We ordered the Pecan Sticky Bun and Buttery Buscuits and BOTH were fantastic! The Blue Line breakfast was also delicious. Our waitress, Maeve, was superb and very attentive. Only place I've ever been that asked if the kitchen should know about any allergies, which I thought was great. Would love to come back here.

Stopped for lunch after a brisk 90 minute jaunt through the aquarium. Very kid friendly. Breakfast and lunch served on the kids menu! They were kind enough to stow our stroller out of the way as well. Jewel of the crown was amazing. Spicy chicken sandwich brings some heat. Raw Oysters were prepared very well. No horseradish, though.

Great service, friendly staff and fresh foods. We wanted to try a few cocktails but went with normal drinks. Iced teas and lemonade were great and refreshing. Fish N Chips were on point. My littlest broke bestie loved the kids grilled cheese. Will stop by again next time we are in Boston.

My husband and I were looking for a place to get a quick Breakfast and we saw open reservations at this restaurant. We booked our reservation on Open Table and walked over there within 15 minutes. Our hostess was nice and asked us if we wanted to sit outside or inside. The majority of people appeared outside (to enjoy the nice weather), but we opted for inside so we could cool off in air conditioning. When we were seated, the restaurant seemed pretty empty except for a few taken tables. Unfortunately, we were seated directly next to another couple (in a booth/chair type seating scenerio). They were seated so close to us that we could hear their conversations (which made me feel awkward talking, as the restaurant wasn't crowded so it was very easy to hear conversation). We didn't have a waiter come up to our table until about 10 minutes in, we were almost half tempted to just get up and walk out, but we didn't have reservations anywhere else. Our waiter (once he arrived) was very kind and friendly. I ordered an apple juice (which was absolutely DELICIOUS) and the Peaches & Cream French Toast. Our waiter never asked if I wanted another apple juice (honestly I probably would have ordered one because it was that good, or I was just that thirsty lol), and the Peaches & Cream French Toast was absolutely delicious!!!

This restaurant has $1 Wellfleet oysters for happy hour with no limitations! That alone is worth 5 stars if you ask me. The restaurant has a great feel to it and the service is excellent. They've got a full bar and lots of great looking menu options although we only came for the oysters. 72 oysters later between 3 of us and I'm leaving this review. Oh, and they also have local beers. 5 stars!

The food here was so good & prices just as good. The staff were friendly & came around & checked on us in a timely manner. Chill ambiance. Highly recommend this spot for a quick affordable bite to eat. Two thumbs up.

I have been here on 2 different occasions and each time i have enjoyed it and had a good experience. Atmosphere is great waitresses and waiters are nice and food is very good. It's a solid restaurant to enjoy a meal and drink when near the Boston Harbor.

What a lovely crew of bartenders!!! It's such a good vibe inside-cozy wood but classier than a pub. I got the burger and it was incredible. So juicy and tasty. It did get that too-wet burger mode so I wish they maybe toasted the bun a little more or did a layer of lettuce so it stayed together as I could only eat 3/4 of it as it fell to complete messy pieces (in the best way). So damn good. So good. The fries were also great I love how crispy and yummy they were. Great quiet and classy spot for dinner. On a Friday night it wasn't crazy busy I was able to walk in as a party of 1

Came in by myself before a flight since it was a short train ride to the airport. I sat at the bar area a little before peak dinner time, and my bartenders were so sweet! The restaurant itself was not crowded yet, and the decor was nice and classy. I ordered a cheese board and raw (Maine) oysters, along with a cider. The oysters were delicious and easily worth the price ($3 each). The cider was sweet, which I personally loved. The cheese board was very filling and came with three cheeses, jam, candied nuts, pickles, and toast. Overall, I enjoyed this!

Excellent service fresh food, and great people watching from their outside dining area. I ordered the grain bowl with salmon. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh and delicious. Companions had a burger and a Caesar salad. Everybody was very happy with their choices. Would definitely come here again.

I'm very sad about the review I am about to leave. I wanted to give 5 stars, I really did. The food was absolutely delicious. We got a dozen oysters, the Brussels sprouts, and the prosciutto/mortadella/salami board. And it was fantastic. About two hours later, though, on my way home, I became so nauseous. Truly I barely made it home before the entire contents of the dinner was ~no longer in my stomach~, to put it lightly. Unfortunately, it must've been the oysters. I love oysters and this really saddened me. It was an expensive dinner (for me, at least) which I was HAPPY paying for being it was a great experience and very yummy, but it made us sick! I tried calling the restaurant to let them know their oysters made us sick, but they never picked up so I left two voicemails -- still no response next morning. I just don't want it to happen to anyone else is all. Hey maybe it was a fluke, but my advice is to steer clear of anything raw.

Cocktails and food were amazing! Our server, Morgan was knowledgeable about the menu and dietary restrictions, as we needed Gluten Free and Dairy Free options. Oysters were local and fresh, highly recommend. The crab dip was also amazing. Little green salad with steak bites hit the spot and met dietary needs. Definitely recommend the house special cocktails! Ambience is high end bar-like, on the loud side and definitely casual.

A hard three stars - first time I've felt bad about tipping 20% in a long while. The service wasn't rude or bad, they just didn't care if we enjoyed ourselves. They knew we were tourists and treated us as trapped cash. The food - slightly spicy crab dip. Cheesy. Zesty. Didn't happen to notice even a snippet of crab meat but hey - that's crab dip in a nutshell. $16. Kids food - elevated looking grilled cheese. +1. Overcooked cheeseburger, tasted fine as advertised. Both served w fries Adult food - steaks frites at a ridiculously low price of $25 was a price performer. Served with salad and, ahem, fries. Dollop of flavorless but nonetheless impressive looking compound butter. Small issue - my date ordered medium, it came rare. She was a good sport about it and didn't send it back but she was not happy. That'll make sense when you hear about the drinks. Lobster roll - $36 for about 4-5 ozs of very tender lobster roll. That price seems to be market rate so I won't complain about it. Now most lobster rolls that I have had - lobster is overcooked and chewy. This was PERFECTLY cooked and lightly dressed. Great. Served with salad and, cough, fries. The drinks - ordered a draft beer and a cocktail. Didn't arrive before the app. Waiter didn't check on us. Didn't arrive w the app. Waiter didn't check on us. Had to flag the waiter down. He didn't apologize. He didn't indicate anything was wrong. He robotically went inside. Presumably told the bartender, five minutes later comes out w one cocktail and an emotionless "the draft you wanted is kicked". New order gets put in, cocktail arrives w main course. At the end of the meal, no mention of it, no hey, sorry the drinks were late. This is a place where the waiter takes your card and you enter the tip onto his handheld right there......not even a thank you for dining us with us. Actually, after I handed him the card, he didn't say another word. Didn't offer a receipt. Nothing. Now I know servers aren't my friends. And I know I'm a tourist I'll never be back. But would you frigging try.....please? And tell chef to come up w a better side dish than FRIES, jeez, when you are serving four plates of fries you should know it's wrong. Edit: they also charged the always bogus 3.99 kitchen fee. Shoulda just sent the guys in the back a few baskets of fries.

Boston Restaurant Week and a business trip to Boston does not disappoint, and a meal at Provisions was delightful. The location was across the street from my hotel (lucky me!), and the warm and welcoming ambiance was appreciated. I had the mushroom tartine (toast pieces with goat cheese and mushrooms- delicious!), osso bucco (oh my goodness amazing!!!), and banana bread pudding with ice cream (the fruit makes it healthy, right?). Everything about this meal was incredible, and I look forward ton a return visit.

Love this restaurant! Everything on the menu is delicious but the ambience and customer service is also outstanding. It was so great we even came back a few times. Highly recommend.

Food was only ok. Chicken on salad was chewy and tasteless, pizza was dull and lack luster (the one with the meat on it) and it goes on from there. The bill had a kitchen charge on it and had no idea what that was for. Wanted to like this place but it wasn't happening for our group. Many other options in area I would try.

One of my favorite spots. Love the spicy chicken sandwich, but sad that it's no longer available on the dinner menu. The patio is amazing. We bring our pup and sit outside enjoying a great meal, vibe of the city, a harbor breeze, and great service. Recently, it was the perfect post Celtics parade lunch!

Forever coming back to this restaurant. The food is always great and the service is top notch. It's a nice but casual atmosphere so it's perfect for a friends dinner or date night. For brunch my top picks are always the eggs bene and spicy chicken sandwich. Dinner I love the lobster roll, steak frites and pork chop. I like having the choice of either a warm buttered or mayo lobster roll. I also highly suggest the wings to start, they are a little messy but worth it.

We went on the Ghost Tour that starts and finishes next to the aquarium, basically where this place is situated. We figured, eh, let's give it a go. I think a few of us in our party were already getting bored with seafood (of which there is plenty in Boston!). So, we figured this would give us a variety of options. Which, it did! I think three in the party of six went burger, and they were not disappointed! I, being the "when-in-Rome" type that I am, ordered the baked scrod. I was also not disappointed! Everything we ordered, from entrées to drinks, were perfect! The service was fast and friendly, and our server gave us some good feedback on the menu items we were considering. He was also fast on refills and drinks overall. The ambiance was nice, if not a little dark. My only real complaint was the noise level. Granted, it was a Saturday night, but boy howdy was it loud in there! But, I have to admit, they sat our party of six almost immediately, which we did not expect on a weekend evening, even in November. Overall, it was a nice restaurant that accommodated multiple palettes, not to mention a teenager's limited menu. Great food, great drinks, great service, just a little noisy for casual conversation.

Amazing meal here. Found this place on Yelp when looking for a spot to host a large business dinner. State Street did not disappoint. I got the Steak Frites, which was fantastic. We also had several apps like the crab dip, Korean fried wings, and oysters. The staff was super attentive to our party of 15; we never had to worry about ordering another drink. Would come back here if I visit Boston again.

The food we were able to get was tasty, but service was terrible with servers sitting at the bar chatting, ignoring customers- we had to to flag them down every single time. It was very dark but had a cozy vibe. I would not recommend based on my experience.

I went to this restaurant for the first time on a Tuesday night and was absolutely blown away. This might be one of my new favorite restaurants in Boston. It was mostly empty (not surprising for a Tuesday night lol), but very well cozy inside with top notch service. I usually post photos of the food for a review but it was SO so good I inhaled it before remembering to take photos (and reasonably priced for the quality and location). Here's what I ordered: Jonah Crab Dip (5/5): a very thick, cheesy, and flavorful crab dip. I was especially impressed with the flavor and quality of the chips - some restaurants skimp on that part, but these chips were outstanding on their own and not overly salty. The Salumeria Pizza (5/5): when I saw this on the menu I thought wow, this really has all of my favorite things on one pizza - boy was I right! This is a thin crust personal-sized pizza (I shared between two though) that isn't greasy, well balanced flavors on it so each ingredient could shine. House Cut Fries (4/5): well-seasoned, but not crispy at all which removes a point for me. The fries themselves were a 3/5, but the garlic aioli was the star of this - if I was rating the sauce on its own I would give a 5/5. Pot de Creme 5/5: this was an incredibly rich chocolate creme/mousse, served in a cute mug with a biscotti propped up in it like a cup of coffee (I am kicking myself for not getting a photo before diving in). I don't even know how to describe the texture other than smooth and THICK. Like the inside of a truffle. I ordered this on a whim after my meal because I wanted something sweet but I wish I saved room for this because it was so rich that I only ate 3 bites. The almond biscotti was the most impressive part to me because normally I am a biscotti hater (too dry generally) but this was so perfect I feel emboldened to go out and try more biscottis. I asked where they sourced it, and the server told me it was made in house! Love that so much is made in house, devastated I can't go to a bakery and order a box of just the biscottis. My only critique of this dish is that it needed more of the salted caramel, as the it completely disappeared in the richness of the chocolate. I definitely want to come back and try the lobster bisque and caesar salad - they looked amazing. Will update when I do!

Very large touristy place near the water front, just behind the Boston Long Wharf hotel. The tourist buses and trolleys all converge here so be careful crossing the road. The interior is huge with a bar in the center. Very old looking, historic building. It was slow and we were seated right away. I just wanted to have oysters before we left Boston. My husband's burger came on an English Muffin - strange but I really wanted to try it. It looked like a great idea. I also ordered the crispy Korean chicken wings. The oysters were excellent, great cup but no choice of type of oyster here. Just what they have. The wings were crispy but very goopy with sauce. I was annoyed that the order of 7 came with 5 of them being drums and 2 flats. If you don't allow the customer to choose, then the order should be as even as possible. The service switched in the middle of our visit. The new guy didn't bring refills unless asked and we had to ask for the check. Didn't make sense for how slow they were but it was fine. Touristy place.

$1 Oyster Monday through Friday from 3-5 PM!! If you like Well Fleet oysters this is your go-to-spot. The oysters are very fresh, meaty and slightly sweet. We sat by the window which was nice to enjoy the sunset and oysters. The servers were friendly and attentive, and they have ample seatings indoor. Personally, I am not a huge fan of Well Fleet but I will return for other oysters as they are nicely shucked and fresh! Food: 8.5/10 Service: 9/10 Experience: 9/10 Value: 8.8/10

The vibes here are so nice!! I highly recommend eating outside - the weather was perfect. We came at 4 and they have a promotional deal for $1 oysters. We got Massachusetts oysters and they were light and smooth. There was a mix of small and larger meaty oysters, and none of them had a super strong ocean taste. I could eat a dozen more!! The lobster roll can be served 2 ways. Either cold with mayo or hot with butter. We got it hot with butter and the bun was so delicious!! Crispy and fluffy!! The lobster pieces were meaty and flavorful too. I was really craving a salad so the salad hit different but if I were to get it again, I'd ask for less dressing. The servers were also very attentive and nice. We had a reservation and we got seated in no time at all :)

Yes I found my favorite stop in Boston. Firstly, I was done with a day of touring and had no battery left on my phone. I asked the hostess for a seat where I could charge and she immediately offered to charge at the host stand since there wasn't outlets throughout and she graciously let me sit and stay at the bar. The friendliness and ease I felt here was a first. I was immediately serviced with a smile as I need a paper menu (since my phone died) and the bartender was happy to help. Most places, I admit, would already be annoyed at how needy I was. Th ambiance was unmatched. Cold, hoppy draft beer was served with a smile and pizza was out of this world. I had the Angry Queen. 10/10! Crispy, tasty, delicious, and perfect. My time disconnected was spent watching workers shoot glances of positive vibes to each other while listening to managers when they were asked for something promptly. They cut fresh jalapeños for what I believe were prepped for future cocktails. I just enjoyed the work practice, cleanliness and high quality. Last, any patron who walked in after me, whether needing assistance or seemingly new, was greeted and assisted in the same gracious manner. I need to come back ! Bravo.

Came over to this restaurant during lunchtime with our clients with their toddler daughter and it couldn't have been more perfect for them since as soon as we entered, we saw many children ranging across different ages. With various bright, dark, and warming hues of wood, the atmosphere exudes casual family-friendliness with sit-down tables on one side (right side) and a more laid-back young professional vibe with a center bar, high tops, and booths on the other (left side). Obviously and appropriately, we were seated on the right side. It's not often that restaurants ask, but I commend the wait staff anytime they offer the option of whether the espresso martini should come with or without Bailey's. Since I like the flavor of espresso, I opted for the latter when ordering the Down East Espresso Martini, and it was a good one. We shared the Jonah crab dip, which could've benefited with more crab, and the cheeseboard accompanied with candied nuts and some preserves. Since I haven't had roast beef in a long time, I went for the North Shore 3-way and it arrived with a wonderfully toasted brioche bun and loaded with meat, cheese, and whatever the secret sauce was that was dribbling out. Delicious and packed with thick flavor, and that's why it was complemented with a spring salad occupying half the plate and as high as the burger that could've fed two people! Our waitress was very patient, kind, and helpful to provide some soft bread to our client's toddler, while also checking in on us intermittently. Don't forget to take a free black tea packet or two at the foyer before leaving! It's also a short distance to the New England Aquarium, Duck Boat Tours, and Old Trolley Tours so come after your visits or come before and walk off your calories after!

The vibe is: normal American gastro pub made slightly more colonial in the best way. And extremely cool bc there are at least five cool vibe people eating by themselves. Me included.) The food is super reasonable if you compare it to anywhere else in Boston and it's on the FECKING water so stop complaining and just do it. It's only 2 dollar signs. I only wanted a few things I could grab and go with maybe bringing them back to the hotel for snacks. So I got the mussels and crab dip. And of course a few oysters- only a few not happy hour. The mussels were NOT what I was expecting for 14$ they're way more. Imagine a spicy tomato version of moule frites with white wine sauce as we've all had 1000 times. The crab dip actually has real crab in it and no one saw me but I cried a little. The best thing I felt was the wait staff didn't keep trying to talk to me so I didn't feel rushed. And i didn't feel weird staying a little with a glass of wine and writing this review. when I did a very awkward wave to mime I'm ready for wine I was not judged but attended to swiftly. Needless to say I did not end up saving anything.

Been for brunch, lunch, and dinner at this point. Cute spot, classic in the area. All have been nice- menu items are fun and different from other things in the area and they have some classics (think lobster roll, clam chowder, etc) The same statements can be made about the drinks menu. If you come for brunch, I'd recommend sharing plates with the table- that way you can order some sweet and savory dishes. Chicken Caesar salad was great. Nothing fancy but made just the way you want it. Oysters were nice and fresh; we did not love the mignonette as a pairing. The steak was a good cut for the price, bigger than expected. It was also cooked perfectly which was a lovely surprise. The frites that accompanied it weren't great- a little mushy and the cheese on top didn't add anything.

The food was amazing. We are in town from California and the staff was the best we've had here in the East Coast. We split some entrees and they split them up and plated them beautifully for my husband and myself. We will definitely be back. Thanks for being amazing!

Beware of the "kitchen fee." We stopped in here after a visit to the aquarium. Decent food and service. However, when looking at the bill I noticed an additional nominal charge called a "kitchen fee." The server told me that this is a required fee imposed by the governor during Covid. Umm... but no other restaurants charge it, and the pandemic is over. Stop Price gouging!! Taking advantage of unsuspecting customer!

Service was subpar, they never brought me water or asked if I wanted any, did not come back to check on me, food was unseasoned, and service was slow. Do not intend to go back.

Before visiting Boston, I read about Oyster Hour, where oysters are $1 each. For where we're staying, @stateprovisions was the most convenient. We were able to sit and enjoy the outdoors. I tried Little Dove Tepache (with fermented pineapple), my hubby had the Violent Thyme, and Dad had Lemonade. We shared a dozen of Wellfleet oysters and Beer-battered Fish & Chips. The fish was hake, another first for us to try. It was very good! Hubby had a Little Greens Salad. We had a great experience! Love the nice touch to take home the tea.

Yet another great place to visit while in Boston! The drinks are great and the food is good too!

We went for brunch as a group of 4 prior to a whale watch. We sat outside on a beautiful morning, highly recommend, but I appreciated that they asked me if I would prefer inside despite my reservation being for outside. The inside is adorable and has a high end feel, would love to return for dinner. Our waiter brought a southern hospitality feeling to normally stiff Boston. He introduced himself and joked around. I appreciated the free refill on my ice coffee. We shared the beignets and sticky bun. Both delicious, sticky bun definitely wins my vote! As a table we got an order of the eggs Benedict, the breakfast sandwich, blueberry pancakes and the fried chicken biscuit. I would order any again. Breakfast sandwich was definitely a higher end then your average. The gochujang aioli provides a nice but not overpowering flavor. I would highly recommend this place.

Pretty good. Nice spot located between Rowes Wharf and the North End. The decor gave off "old-fashioned" vibes in a good way with lots of wood & leather. I came here with colleagues for a work lunch. We started with the Korean BBQ wings and cheese board. Wings were a decent portion size and had great flavor. I also enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with them. Cheese board was also excellent with an ample amount of cheese for a large group. For my lunch entree, I ordered the steak frites. I liked that both fries and greens came with the steak and were my favorite part. The dressing on the greens was so good, I inhaled them first. Fries tasted like fresh potatoes (not frozen) and had great truffle flavor. The steak was not the best I've had, but also not the worst. It had good flavor but was a bit chewy and difficult to slice through with a knife, which I found to be a bit odd for steak frites. Overall, I enjoyed having lunch here and would come back again to try other things off the menu...

My husband and I came here for drinks before going out to dinner. Excellent and attentive service, interesting drink choices. The bathroom is very clean and even has a lever for opening the door with your foot! I wish every bathroom had this feature! Next time I am in town, I would look forward in trying the food.

Nothing special about the atmosphere here but it is a nice clean restaurant in a nice area just between Quincy Market and Long Wharf. Started with 1 of the 2 charcuterie board options and thought that it was good. 3 different salamis with a very good grainy mustard, some toasted bread and a few pieces of pickled vegetables and 4 olives. Short rib bolognese was well put together and had some flavor but not what it could have been. Fish and chips were also good not great. Overall I would say this restaurant would be 4 stars but poor service and added fees brings it down to a 3. Never offered coffee or desert, even gave them a second chance to offer but no go. Restaurant wasn't that busy so that wouldn't be any reason. Luckily There are several other places nearby go indulge in something sweet. Also didn't appreciate getting the check with an added 3.00 dollar kitchen fee.

This place was decent. The food was alright. I enjoyed my southwest grain bowl and thought it was the perfect portion as well. The place has a nice atmosphere. You can come casual or fancy, seemed to be a mix of both. The server was pretty attentive. Happy with my experience.

Great location with a sweet vibe! I had the Roast Beef Sandwich on a Broiche roll, with a fresh ceazer salad. The sandwich was a thick-sliced roast beef sandwich on a fresh broiche roll. The beef was tender and juicy, and the bread was buttery and flaky. The sandwich was a classic and satisfying hand-held meal. I will be back....

Enjoyed our visit to this restaurant for the $1 oyster happy hour (Monday through Friday between 3 to 5 PM). The service was prompt - we got seated right away in a shady spot outside and were checked on quite frequently. Chill atmosphere and a fun spot right next to the Aquarium and the Long Wharf where there are many tours happening. We just had the $1 oysters. Great deal and the oysters were fresh and quite sweet. 4 star rating rather than 5 just for two reasons. While the menu advertised that there are many varieties of oyster to choose from (local and west coast), they just had the Wellfleet ones on the day we were there. Also, some of the oysters were quite small. Not an issue when we got such a good deal on them, but for those paying full price at $3/oyster, I would have been disappointed with a few of them.

My family and I decided to stop here for lunch. I was surprised by how quickly they were able to seat us! The service did not slow down either, which we appreciated. We all tried something different and there were no complaints. I did have to add a little salt and pepper, but everything was good. The only thing I didn't love was that I had asked for a cup of ice for my water, but the ice was dirty because when I poured my water over it the water had lots of floaters. If you enjoy a warm water than this place is perfect

Service and food is fairly basic and nothing notable. The single jumbo shrimps at $3.50 each are quite expensive for what it was. No food here was really worth highlighting. Kitchen closes an hour before the restaurant closes, so I came here and was hurried to order within 10 minutes. This is probably a better place if you're looking for a bar to hang out. Parking was difficult too.

State Street Provisions is a bit overrated. It's a typical American pub located in the North End. The drinks and food are ok. We ordered dirty shirleys, state street burgers and steak frites. The burger was worth its price (~$17). The other dishes on the menu are a bit pricey and there is not much to choose from. The vibes of the restaurant are great - the middle area is a bar, and it is super spacious with plenty of seating. We were about 15 minutes late to our reservation, but they still gave us a table. The servers were very nice but it did take a while for the food and drinks to be served. The restaurant is located right across the aquarium station on the blue line. Street parking may be difficult, especially during weekends. Overall rating: 7/10

Stopped here tonight and it did not disappoint! Amazing food, great service and sitting outside was wonderful!! Thank you for a great meal!

Wonderful restaurant right in the middle of it all. They have food for everyone! We had fish and chips, Caesar salad, which the crushed bread crumbs are a must have on all Caesar salads! The oysters from Islas Creek were perfection, some like them bigger, but these were just perfect for us. The muscles were plump and flavorful with that delectable sauce. The shrimp cocktail was plump and the lobster tail was yummy! We will come back def.

Chose this place on a whim while walking our dog since this was the only restaurant we saw with dogs at it. It's located right near the aquarium. Staff were very nice and we were sat outside right away on a busy Sunday afternoon. We started with the crab dip and chip app which was good. My husband got the lobster roll which he said was very good and I got the fish and chips which was delicious and the portions were good so you got your moneys worth. Overall a great place for lunch or dinner.

Great restaurant for group dinners, conveniently located in the seaport area. There is a bar, as well as many tables. Was crowded on a Thursday night, but the place was not so loud that you had to shout, which I liked. Our server recommended the baked cod, burger, and pork chop. I tried the baked cod, which was delicious. The cod was cooked perfectly: very soft and seasoned well. The bean purée was smooth and mild but added a depth of flavor. The state street platter was a good appetizer for sharing amongst 3-4 people. I think the seafood could have been a tad fresher, but it was good overall. I also tried the pot de crème. I was surprised (in a good way) by how large the dessert was for the price ($10). The biscotti was very good, and the mousse was rich. I liked that it was a cold dessert, but it was quite heavy for one person. I recommend sharing it. Everyone at the table finished their dish, so I don't think you can go wrong with anything. Our server was also friendly, and we did not feel rushed. My only complaint is that it was a bit too dark in the restaurant.

Horrible service. There are several waiters and we waited just for no one to approach us, and serve people that were seated after us.
