I can not believe I forgot to review this hidden gem the last time I was here! Now on my second visit to Miami, I came back to station 28 and in total I have been here only 4 times. The sandwiches are authentic and come with the perfect warm bread, the sauces are unique and tasty, EVERY BITE takes me back to Peru. The juices are delicious, I believe I do not even need the sugar added. The coffee is high quality. The meals are mouthwatering and even the small sides that come included have been prepared with so much care. Ugh this place is unbelievable. The decor is also nicely put together. I am looking forward to keep visiting Station 28 😋

Did not disappoint, lots of great sandwich and burger options and everything tasted off the chain. Seating is in a covered outdoor corridor with good decor and art to look at, and giant jenga games on the table. Plenty of beers on tap and bottled. Not a bad spot to stop and check out the city scene immediately out front either. Definitely recommend it if you have the chance to go with some friends or a small group.

This place used to be a takeout place but the couple that owns it completely transformed it into this amazing atmosphere that me and my family enjoyed so much! The menu is exquisite with creative combinations and wonderful presentation!!! Perfect for brunch woth instagramable spots and the cleanliness is impecable. Will definitely bring everyone that visits me to this place. Amazing cocktails too. Try it, its unbelievable and refreshing!

Google
I'm not used to giving reviews but this site really deserves it. Not only is the place beautiful and super cozy, but also the food is incredible! for dinner we had a pasta stuffed with cheese and pear with passion fruit sauce that is an explosion of exotic flavors. The wood fire octopus was sensational! perfectly cooked. The salmon ceviche was so refreshing. It was a great experience. I recommend it 1000%. It is a gem in the city.

The tapas from here were amazing and incredibly tasty. Each of the selections we chose were unique and flavorful in different ways. Only correction is that it should be a $$$ category, not $, but well worth it's price in quality.

Tucked away in Downtown on the corner of a hidden alleyway of restaurants is Station 28, a casual walk up Peruvian eatery with outdoor seating and a cozy street food ambiance. My boyfriend and I finally stopped in after passing by it frequently and noticing how busy it normally is. We each got an entree, I had the Lomo Saltado $9.99 which will forever be one of my favorite Peruvian dishes. You could tell that they prepared it fresh to order which was nice since it was still steaming when I received it. The flavors were good and they serve you generous portions which I enjoyed. Was it the best lomo saltado I've ever had? No, but for the price and quality in the Downtown Miami area still recommend it. The reason for the lacking star is for my boyfriends entree that was very mediocre compared to what we were expecting. He decided to try something from their Burger menu (they identify as a burger place) and ordered the Diablo Burger $8.99: 1/2 pound premium beef, cheese, tomato, potato sticks, fried egg, and spicy sauce. We both loved the spicy sauce and build/ingredients of this burger, even the bread seemed very fresh. The issue was with the burger patty that just really lacked in flavor and almost tasted if it had been previously frozen which I couldn't get on board with. All in all, still a casual spot worth checking out to grab a quick meal and beer with friends. Would still go back and try other Peruvian menu items!

Google
For what it is, an open air bar with simple meals off the grill, Station 28 is a rather nice place to eat. I particularly enjoyed the murals on the walls and canopy ceiling. The service was very prompt and friendly. All in all it's a rather great atmosphere. Unfortunately, for it's price, the food wasn't worth a full 5 stars in my humble opinion. It was good, just not great.

Pisco Sour Passion Fruit is a must. So so good! Their ceviche was very fresh! My boyfriend had their chicken Caribbean sandwich and it was grilled perfectly.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place 10 stars! It is the best restaurant I have been to in Miami, a true hidden gem. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is a lovely, cozy, chill vibe. It's dimly lit with lots of wood, plants, and ambiance lighting. The music playing was at a really tasteful volume and added to the very chill atmosphere of the restaurant. We truly enjoyed every song that came on. The owners are Ruben and Sharon Morla. The night we went, Ruben was there waiting on the tables. He is so knowledgeable and kind, we had a wonderful experience with him! We are hoping to see Sharon the next time we go back. You can tell that they love their food and their restaurant! The menu offers two tasting menus and then the regular a la cart menu. I love a good tasting menu, and we have been so excited to try this place, so we went with the first option. The first dish brought out was the ceviche tostada. It was nothing short of amazing. After the first bite my boyfriend said - oh, this place is legit. We went through the rest of the menu and everything was absolutely incredible. Chef Ruben has achieved such balance in every dish that is exceedingly hard to find at other restaurants. The array of dishes also left us so satisfied and not over-full. This restaurant deserves to be fully booked, every night of the week. Truly the best restaurant in Miami! I cannot wait to go back!!

Yelp
Food was pretty good (but not out-of-this/world) and everything here is overpriced (paid over $400 for 3 people for fish tacos, ceviche, 3 other tapas, and 2 bottles of a so-so rose). Service was excellent. I think the waitress was also the owner (her spouse is the chef). Place was cozy and classy. I just don't like the fact that you have to ring the Ring Doorbell to get in though because they don't have a hostess (kind of Jurassic and definitely not very posh). This is a great place to bring a date but other than that the price does not justify the visit.

Yelp
Morla is a visually stunning restaurant. We tried the Branzino Tiradito and Filet Mignon Brochette for our meals. The branzino was satisfactory, but the Filet Mignon Brochette fell short, feeling excessively oily and lacking the expected meaty flavor. Despite high expectations based on the appealing presentation, the taste did not match the visual allure. On a positive note, the service was excellent, contributing to an overall enjoyable dining experience. I'm open to giving Morla another chance, but it might be a while before I do.

Swapnil J.

Yelp
Ring the bell, and a door opens. You have now entered magical space created by a wonderful couple Ruben and Morla. Art and setting is top notch! We had an exclusive chef's table service from Ruben. He is from Baja, Tijuana area and Morla is from Peru. Dinner is to share crafted masterpieces of culinary excellence with your guests. We spent over 3 hours enjoying excellent and some specially crafted dishes just for us! Ruben and Morla - thank you a ton for a great experience. I will be back again when in Miami. And hope to see you in San Diego!

Andrea J.

Yelp
What an amazing restaurant! Great service, great atmosphere, great food, and romantic! The food was fantastic!! So fresh and delicious! Prices are aligned with downtown Miami for sure, but the overall experience makes it so worth! The guacamole w/ octopus was very flavorful--I wish it would have had some more pieces of octopus; The gauc. to octopus ratio was off (for me). 4.5 stars The Branzino Tiradito was refreshing, the acidity level was spot on (I prefer lots of lime on any ceviche like dishes)! The leche de tigre it was in was amazing! 5 stars! The tacos were our least favorite dish. I was alright. Nothing special about it in terms of flavor. The Branzino Griliado was awesome! Such amazing flavors between the fish and the cilantro sauce! The potatoes we great as well! The entire dish just made so much sense and was very memorable! 5 stars If you are able to, Morla is a must-try spot in downtown Miami hands down. Note - they do not have a full bar. They only have a selection of wine and beer, and the wine must be purchased by the bottle. Paid parking lot right across the street.

Yelp
The minute you enter the nondescript door in downtown Miami you're immersed into a world of sensory delight and that's before you've had your first bite of food. You're greeted warmly like a treasured friend arriving for a long overdue visit. The decor is imbued with old world charm in muted colors and the sigh of relief and the smile on your face come unbidden. I'm always skeptical when food looks so good it could hang in a museum but Morla delivers to your palate in equal measure. All the dishes we tried were an absolute explosion of flavor and creativity. We started with the Nikkei Tuna Ceviche, impossibly fresh and elevated by the amarillo leche de tigre to the divine. The sesame oil was applied with a deft touch, providing a delicate hint of the sesame while still allowing the tuna center stage. The Filet Mignon Anticucho was expertly seasoned and cooked to temperature perfection, lightly seared on the outside, bright pink in the middle. The delicate potatoes served along side were a delightful surprise, light and fluffy and complimented perfectly with the sauces. Do not skip the sauces. They are masterful concoctions of flavor and spice. The Baja Fish Tacos set the standard for what every fish taco should aspire to be...I didn't even know you could get such a thin layer of breading so crunchy yet still retain the moistness of the fish. The Crema Volteada was a perfect ending to the meal, light and creamy and just the right side of sweetness. The only drawback for me was the lack of a full bar (they're working on it) but the Pisco Sour I had was excellent and Sharon indulged my request to take a video of the smoke billowing out of the dome topped creation. It hit the perfect balance point of sweet/tart and was FUN! Morla deserves to be the #1 restaurant in all Miami. It's perfect. The food, the service, and the ambiance combine to wrap you in a bubble of all that is good in the world for as long as you're there (and these days we certainly need it). Go to celebrate a special occassion or to spend time with people you value, go to cheer yourself up, or go for a romanitc date, but GO. NOW. PS Yes, it's pricey but worth every penny.

Yelp
A couple of friends invited us to try Morla Restaurant which opened downtown Miami about 8 months ago, they had been there a few times and loved it so we went together and ................. OMG what a great discovery, absolutely amazing !!!!! Thank you Skip and Laurie The place is gorgeous inside and outside there is a little patio for outdoor eating, really beautiful Ruben the owner and chef greeted us and cooked for us an incredible dinner with his modern creative dishes, we had Nikkei Salmon Ceviche, Filet Mignon Anticucho, Wood Fire Octopus, Pear Pasta, Branzino Tiradito, Branzino Griliado and Miso Salmon, everything was just incredible, the chef's passion came thru each dish which was an explosion of different flavors that just made each and every dish just perfect I highly recommend it and I will be back very soon @morla_restaurant

Yelp
The food was outstanding. We did the tasting menu and it was wonderful. I have eaten at many of Miami's establishments- I feel it is one of the best and unique dining experience in the area!

Kelli B.

Yelp
We were in Miami for one night and were able to easily secure a reservation. By the end of the dinner, we were massive fans. Everything was perfect. First of all, the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the lush greenery and the cozy wine room area are done so well. It's inviting and warm and most all, spotless. The food was nuts. We have the crispy octopus with guacamole, the shrimp aguachiles, and the barramundi. If I could bottle the aguachiles sauce and keep it on me at all times I would. The barramundi was perfectly crispy and that sauce was incredible too. Their house Merlot (I think it was the Merlot but not sure) was delicious. Not too strong and clearly amazing quality. Finally, the service - our hostess could not have been sweeter. We were half an hour early for our reservation and if she minded she didn't show it. I didn't catch her name unfortunately. Luis was the best waiter we've had in months; he was attentive but not overbearing and was happy to chat about the food as much as we were. We were on vacation for 8 more days after this dinner but we mentioned it nearly daily. It was that good.

Steen S.

Yelp
Highly, highly recommend this place. We went to dinner here as a company team and so I apologize for a lack of more culinary photos than just a gorgeous ceiling fresco. However, if you enter these hallowed halls, there is no need to fear! You will feast and dine on some amazing plates! I highly recommend the ceviche as well as the fish tacos. Beautifully made, delicious food. Staff are super friendly and want you to have the best time possible. If you're lucky enough like I was to have your company treat you, don't hold back and try everything!

Nasha P.

Yelp
Was in Brickell visiting a friend and wanted to grab something to eat, so of course I go to my trusty Yelp for recommendations. This place popped up with 5 stars so I had to check it out. First of all, hello! This place is sooooo cute!! My friend and I felt transported to somewhere, definitely not Miami, and it was nice to feel like we were on vacation for a little while. This place is perfect for a romantic date or for anything really. The food was great, it's tapas style and meant for sharing but portions are good enough for two and very reasonably priced. Especially because the menu is so special and creative. We shared the octopus with avocado as well as the pasta dish with pear, cheese and passion fruit cream. So so good! Definitely a new fave in this part of town.

Suchitra J.

Yelp
This is a cute date spot in downtown miami. The menu is slightly over priced, however the food and wine was great. Mostly I loved the ambiance.

Veronica P.

Yelp
What a wonderful find! You wouldn't think it from the outside, but the restaurant is beautifully decorated and such a nice vibe inside. Our server was great, fast and efficient. They do not have a very extensive menu, but everything we tried was fantastic. They don't have a liquor license, and the wine list was pretty small (1 bottle per varietal), but the malbec we tried was great. The food is tapas style, with most of the plates being good for 3 or 4 people to taste. The pear pasta was good, but the passion fruit sauce was a bit too much with the pear flavor. Highly recommend: filet mignon anticucho, octopus, fish tacos

Audrey S.

Yelp
I adored everything about this dining experience. One of my top favorite restaurants in Miami as of today. Ambiance, food, service, all exquisite. The space is gorgeous, classy, cozy. Perfect for our girl date e but would also be perfect for a date date. Service was very well paced. They came just often enough and spaced out each dish nicely. The food though. Don't even get me started on the pear pasta. So delicious. We also shared the mushroom dish and the cheese plate and all were wonderful. They only have a few wines by the glass. We went with Malbec and it was good. We shared three dishes and each had a glass of wine. $60 each with mandatory 18% gratuity. Normally wouldn't spend this much on myself but this was such a treat. Well worth it for the quality of the experience.

Carin R.

Yelp
Everything you ever wanted food to be and more! The most delicate well balanced beautifully presented dishes that leave you smiling. This has to be my all time favorite restaurant from the enchanting decor, unbelievable tasting food and seamless service. The owners, Sharon and Ruben are so humble. They have no idea how special MORAL really is. Recommendations necessary

Yelp
Station 28 Bistro is a lowkey restaurant with AMAZING food. Not only is the decor lovely (and super cozy) but the service is great as well. This place did NOT disappoint. I wish I hadn't gone to happy hour before dining here so that I could have had more room in my stomach to try more dishes!!!! The way they do flavors here is soooo good, I feel like each dish was full of so many well-paired flavors. The pear pasta is a MUSTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!! It's so unique and the favors are beautiful. The pasta is a perfect texture and I loved eating each bite. I would definitely order this again a hundred times. The wood fire octopus was also great. The flavors in this dish were amazing. From the pineapples to the mashed potatoes to the perfect texture of the octopus, there is literally nothing bad I can say about this dish. The Branzino tiradito was not my favorite. It was good and I loved the Peruvian corn and the flavors but felt the fish had a bit of a fishy after taste. However it's still a solid dish and beautifully plated too! I WOULD HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It was so refreshing to dine at a lowkey restaurant with very quality food. The rose sangria is also very good!

Zaneta R.

Yelp
Price : glass of wine started at $12 and bottles started around $45. Tapas started around $19 Vibe : ambiance was very cozy and romantic! Indoor seating only I can't rave enough about the service and the food at this place. I was caught off guard for the prices of the tapas 25 bucks average but the food was so flavorful and unique. My favorite was the fried octopus! Oh my gosh it was Devine! My only set back was the limited amount it wines by the glass! This would be a super cute date or anniversary spot. For reference : we had two glasses of wine and three tapas and our bill was around 140

Justine L.

Yelp
This restaurant is a little "hole in the wall." It was slightly hard to find (I'm directionally impaired), but definitely worth finding. We came here for a pre-cruise family dinner. The dishes are definitely small, and for the amount of people we had, the meal ended up being very pricy. That said, the flavor was excellent, and the service amazing. Definitely worth checking out. Two thumbs up. Super sweet staff.

Alexis Andrea N.

Yelp
Gorgeous ambiance, don't know if you will find better in DTM! Cozy, beautiful, quiet, intimate. I like what you guys are doing but we need more, more dishes! The plating were all beautiful and picture-before-eating worthy. The octopus was very interesting and delicious, loved the tacos and the pasta! Everything had great flavors and tender delicate textures. Bring back the causa! Looking forward to returning, great to have a quality place in the neighborhood!

Jared W.

Yelp
Honestly, I'm not sure how the MORLA experience could be improved upon. - Limited but well-curated tapas menu with excellent range - Amazing wine list - Friendly and attentive servers while not overbearing - Beautiful, millennial-friendly decor and setting Tapas standouts included the octopus guacamole, filet mignon skewers, and tuna ceviche. Tacos, both fish and pork, were divine with perfect tortillas. MORLA is expensive (~$30 a small plate) but worth every cent. 5/5 stars.

lilian s.

Yelp
So, despite being on a slightly sketchy street in downtown across from a slingshot rental parking lot, the interior of morla is quite cute and you forget about the shady characters that might be lingering outside. The food is alllll delicious but portions are a bit small so prepare to sample many items. I highly recommend the fish tacos. Sadly there was no Lucuma or pisco sours but they did carry some good beers and a tasty choc cake. Would recommend for an intimate date night!

Milad Z.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing vibe. Great for date night or group dinners. Recommend the branzino tiradito and any of their ceviches. Also, the pear pasta!

Alexandra H.

Yelp
This was my first time at Morla and definitely not my last. To start, the ambience was wonderful with beautiful patio seating. The service was great and the tapas started coming out within 10 minutes at perfect intervals. Every item we ordered was phenomenal. We ordered 6 items for 3 of us: miso salmon, Baja tacos, salmon ceviche, branzino, pear pasta, and filet minon. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Julia M.

Yelp
We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. There is a paid parking lot right across the street from the restaurant, but it has a minimum reservation time of 6 hours for $30! There is no street parking outside of the restaurant. Uber would have been a better bet. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the service was pretty good. But the food was average at best and absolutely not worth the price. The $30 tacos (?!) were underseasoned and soggy. That was about par for the course for every dish we tried. Plan to order 2-3 entrees per person; they are small plates. This restaurant is beer and wine only. The two "cocktails" are beer or wine based. If MORLA cut their prices by about 50% we might give it another shot. As it is, we won't be back. ETA: The business owner was kind enough to remind me that the three soggy, underseasoned fish tacos were actually $23 not $30. Including tax and tip, that would come to about $30.36 for aforementioned tacos. I'm sorry--my mistake!

Lou G.

Yelp
Went to Miami for a short vacay. Decided to give this hidden gem a shot for our Anniversary dinner! Making reservations was easy through their own website. OpenTable was an option as well! The experience was absolutely delightful! We rang the doorbell to get in, and once the door opened it was like we were transported away from downtown Miami, to somewhere quaint and peaceful! The decor and the ambiance was inviting! We decided to try the culinary experience, because we wanted to taste all their dishes! Each dish was beautifully prepared and visually appetizing! The order of the dishes was well thought out and attacks your senses! It's a flavor explosion in your mouth! Each dish almost complements the next! The Pisco sour cocktail was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Service was just as amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a lovely couple running such a magnificent dining establishment! Will definitely recommend!!!!!

Meghan R.

Yelp
Incredible food and intimate amazing experience! Everything we ate was delicious. A few standouts were the ceviche, the octopus, and the filet but we loved every dish. The owner/chef came to explain the dishes and the services was top notch.

Maria B.

Yelp
Portions are small, but that is the intention, had an awesome wine and the ceviche was delicious!

Jacqueline N.

Yelp
Would recommend this restaurant 1000%, the flavor of the entrees were nothing i've ever experienced before & the service/attention was exquisite. The ambiance is very romantic and intimate. This restaurant deserves it's hype.

Lauren J.

Yelp
What an incredible experience! We had a reservation for 10 people for a friend's birthday. The dining area was beautiful. Our server was amazing and made sure to take care of us. Also, the FOOD - pure ART AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend eating here!!! I'm so happy I found it and was able to celebrate my friend's birthday here.

Doris H.

Yelp
The food is tapa style, which is always fun to share. I went with a group of girlfriends for dinner and the Flavor was amazing!!! There was absolutely nothing that we ordered that wasn't amazing. The location is a cute chic location in downtown Miami. There is a parking lot across the street from the restaurant. The wait staff was amazing and so accommodating. They were attentive and gave great recommendations. I can not wait to return to this location.

Narenda C.

Yelp
Nice hidden restaurant. Everything was delicious. The octopus was cooked perfectly although I would have liked it to be in smaller pieces so that it is less chewy. The ceviche was bomb, nice mix with the avocado. And the Mignon was perfect. I'd say that was the best option out of the three we had.

Fernando P.

Yelp
Great service, and great food Very romantic place. A true hidden jewel. Nikkie Tuna Ceviche was the best.

Jasmyn S.

Yelp
Okay, honestly I did not want to post about this restaurant because I want to be able to come here all the time without a reservation and there not be a wait. BUT I also believe sharing is caring, and this hidden gem is too amazing not to talk about. It deserves every bit of hype, publicity, and attention. It's a bit hard to find (my uber got super turned around) as it's tucked between two rental car agencies, but in my opinion that only adds to its charm. But because it's in a pretty undeveloped area, you could drive and park nearby here, which is a HUGE deal for downtown. As soon as you walk inside, you leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city and enter a magical, picturesque locale. There are two dining options--they're both beautiful, but outside is especially gorgeous. The trees, the twinkling lights, and the murals (be sure to look up at the ceiling) create a romantic setting fit for a Taylor Swift music video. It feels warm, cozy, and inviting, which isn't something I experience often in Miami. They have a fantastic and not ridiculously expensive wine list, so get a bottle of Malbec to share. We ordered the octopus guacamole, filet anticucho, fish ceviche tostada, mushrooms al ajillo, tri color causa, and the pear pasta. All fantastic. Tens across the board!! The flavors were so bright and unique--perfect balance of sweet, acid, and umami. Bring the foodie who thinks they know every cool spot in town (me); I guarantee they'll be impressed and very happy.

Yelp
You Know How They Say Everything Happens For A Reason.... Well Me Walking Past MORLA Is The Reason Why I am Writing This Review. My Husband & I Were On An Evening Stroll as We Strolled Past This Hidden Gem..... It Was Late But But The Name Stuck Fast Forward to Today, as I was trying to answer The Million Dollar Question Where Do We Want To Eat My Hubby Suggested MORLA... I proceeded to do my research as I always do and as soon as saw the menu I was sold. I made reservations on OpenTable very easy We made our way to MORLA and were greeted by The Owner who was very welcoming. We walked in immediately I noticed the vibe was an electric calm vibe. The lights were dimmed low enough that you could still take in all the decor. Since I did my research I already knew what I wanted..... Guacamole & Crunchy Octopus: POW, BANG, BOOM.... AYYYYY QUE RICO I never thought to have this combo but I am sure glad I did. This goes hand in hand, I won't be able to eat Guacamole any other way It is served with tortillas & chips. Branzino Griliado: It's In The Sauce, Their Secret Cilantro Sauce which has a little zing to it that compliments the potatoes & corn so nicely that my tastes bud went to heaven. Now I know why it's the best seller. Baja Fish Tacos: I didn't taste the tacos which I should have but my husband said they were fantastic what Tacos Should Always Taste Like. To end the evening I ordered the Chocolate & Hazelnut Tart which is 100% Vegan. Don't let the fact that it's vegan fool you this tart is one of the best I've ever tasted. Listen my fellow Yelpers, I am extremely picky when it comes to my food but you have to listen to me when I tell you to Run to MORLA, This Is The Hidden Gem You Are Going To Wowed by & Taken Back By.... Might I add we were able to speak to the owners Ruben and his Lovely Wife who mentioned she created the Pear Pasta which I will definitely be ordering the next time. It was a nice touch to hear the story of MORLA & how it came to be you don't always get The Honor To do so that was a plus Overall I give MORLA 5 Stars 5 Stars on Cuisine 5 Stars on Ambiance 5 Stars on Decor 5 Stars on The Genuine Hospitality 5 Stars for The Ingredients I Found My New Favorite Restaurant PS... as you can see I didn't take pictures because I devoured everything I ordered but promise I will next time......

Pat L.

Yelp
Wow, this was fantastic! We had 3 dishes + desert and _loved_ everything. Our favorite was probably their pasta dish, which was completely unique with fruit inside the pasta, but it was balanced so well with the cheese and great pasta texture, that it was just a flavor explosion. We also got a fish ceviche tostada where they used really delicate and well-prepared flounder. Lastly we got a crispy squid and guac dish that was great, the squid was perfectly prepared, crunchy on the outside but not at all chewy, and the guac was delicious. After the mains, we got a desert that was spectacular, I can't remember the name, but it was similar to a really rich caramel with creme on top - absolutely mouth watering. We had dinner here on a quiet Tuesday night, so we got to speak to the owners, who were delightful people with a clear passion for the food. Highly recommend!

Irv L.

Yelp
Another hidden gem in Miami. A range of flavors. Had Pear Pasta which is sweet but have it last. Started with Nikkei Tuna Ceviche which has a strong line taste but if you pair it with the house white wine, it works very well. Most popular dish is Branzino Griliado which has a nice sauce. Mushroom Al Ajillo has a strong garlic taste but it is served with bread and is quite nice. Baja Fish Tacos were very tasty as well. Dessert was Lucuma Cheesecake and was a great finish to a nice meal. Service was by the chef and his wife. They helped us pick some great dishes.

Ilya P.

Yelp
This place is simply incredible, Everything on the menu is flavorful and tasty The atmosphere is well thought out and relaxing while being artful. This is an incredible date spot with the perfect balance of intimate and social so you will be able to talk in privacy.

Mike M.

Yelp
Quietly settled in a unsuspecting storefront between two rental car agencies, I was pleasantly surprised with morla. While the price was a little more than I would expect, two of our four dishes were superb, one was good, and one was okay. Recommend the steak and the salmon ceviche - incredible. The atmosphere was intimate and splitting a bottle of wine at 65$ was worth it. I don't know if I would go back but it was a fun experience nonetheless. Service was great too!

Rose P.

Yelp
Morla is one of my favorite spots in Miami! I've been on multiple occasions and everything I've had is fantastic. They are reservation only, so make sure to save your spot! The owner is so friendly and was kind enough to accommodate a large group for my birthday last year. The waitstaff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The food is also wonderful. Everything I have tried has been phenomenal. The crunchy octopus with guacamole and the pear pasta are two of my favorite dishes. To top it all off, the restaurant seems like it's in an unassuming alley way, but feels more like a starlight garden upon entering. It certainly doesn't feel as though you're dining near the Highway in downtown. I will surely be back to Morla many more times.

Yelp
Made reservations through Yelp. Ambiance is beautiful. Food is delicious - they are shared plates. We ordered pear pasta, gauc & octopus, filet mignon, fish tacos, and scallops. Everything had amazing flavor, the guac & octopus was a little bland compared to everything else though. Scallops was our favorite. Highly recommend to come here with reservations. Great space with good company. We would definitely come back when we're in Miami!

Yelp
Perhaps the best dinner we've ever had to celebrate our 43rd anniversary. This is a hidden gem. Incredible tapas style food, outstanding drinks and wine selection, fabulous atmosphere once inside, and the most personable staff. I rarely give a five-star review. This time I enthusiastically do so without reservation.

Yelp
Hidden downtown and only accessible by knocking on the door- the food did not disappoint. The menu changes frequently but everything we had was divine.Highly recommend veering off the beaten path for this dining experience!

Yelp
Ate here about a week ago. As someone else said, don't park in the lot across the street, however, having your car towed or paying an exorbitant amount for parking would probably be more satisfying, and cheaper, than this restaurant was. We each got several dishes. Most were decent, which is why they get two stars in lieu of one. The tuna ceviche was the highlight, however, none of the dishes were worth the price. $20+ per small plate for a tapas style restaurant is pants on the head crazy. Also, they only serve beer and wine. Overall, it was a nice atmosphere but the overpriced mediocre food was what killed the whole experience for me. This place is trying really hard to be trendy but they're failing due to the quality vs cost ratio. I won't be back.

Yelp
This place was amazing! The ambience was great, simple, beautiful. The food was extraordinary, I mean, every dish was an explosion of flavor. We shared the ceviche tostadas and the ceviche was on point, fresh and perfectly balanced between citrus and spice. The braised pork tacos were delicious and left us wanting more. The filet mignon anticuchos cooked to perfection melted in our mouths and the pear pasta was soooo new, so flavorful. Lastly the branzino was to die for and we had sangria to accompany all and it was light and delicious as well. We closed it all with the crema volteada dessert and it was so creamy we couldn't believe it. The service was top class, kind and diligent. Please do yourself a huge favor and visit this place.

Yelp
This place is COOL. Peruvian and Mexican tapas. Fantastic food quality, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable for what you get. The decor alone makes this place worth checking out. Downtown needs more places like this one. Trust me: check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I've probably passed this place a million times and have never noticed it, mainly because of the inconspicuous entrance. However, if you give it a good enough look you will easily find it on NE 2nd ST at the very beginning of Downtown. And if you do find it, you won't regret it because it is probably the actual definition of a hidden gem. When I walked into the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised with the interior with its modern rustic aesthetics. The hostess warmly greeted us right when we arrived and shortly after sat us at our reserved table. The menu is tapas style, which is the way to go as the menu covers a wide variety of flavors from Mexico and Peru. We started with the Nikkei Salmon Ceviche, which was by far the best dish I tried. The salmon was perfectly balanced with the sauce it was brought in, opening up the savoriness and freshness of the salmon. With the very first bite, it was a near explosion of goodness in my mouth. Next was the Wood Fired Octopus. It was slightly charred which added a nice crispiness to it. It was quite tender and paired with a peach pineapple chimichurri which was a nice sweet touch. This dish would have been top for me if the octopus was a bit meatier. We finished off with Pear Pasta which is labeled as "Best Seller" and that statement does hold true! Its a nice portion for sharing, the sauce was delectable, and the sweet-salty combination of the pasta filling brought the dish together. I do wish the sauce was a little thicker but overall it was still delicious. This is most definitely a perfect place for a romantic evening although I did come here with a larger party for a birthday. There are no cocktails, only wine and beer but with the different ceviches and Pear pasta you can easily enjoy your night with a nice white wine. Or red! I truly enjoyed the ambiance and dinner, I can't wait to come back for date night.

Yelp
I eat here regularly. Tried the Wood Fire Octopus today. The octopus was cooked perfectly. Good balance of sauce, vegetable and potatoes. The place will be the right choice if you wanna try Mexican food. The different dishes are made to perfection.
