I was having a fantastic time in Woodstock with my girlfriend who had never been there, we had seen Livingston Taylor on Friday March 8, 2019 the night before, what a great show.
So we decided to stay until Saturday March 9 and see the town.
At lunch time we decided to visit the Station that someone had told us it was a new place in town, that was my only dreadful mistake out of the whole trip.
Walked in and my first impression was of a campy cramped place two small tables one carved into a tight little hole in the wall with a couple that did not look to enthusiastic the other was empty in a tight corner which we took, I'm telling you my RV has more room than this place.
Three dudes were sipping a beer at the tiny bar, enough room for three and after ten minutes of no show from anybody in charge anywhere I approached the dudes and asked if there was even a bartender, they said that she had left a while ago, so the only logical question for me was to ask, "who is in charged"? they all shrugged there shoulders at the same time. My girlfriend and I proceeded to check some back room and there was a woman arguing about her credit card charges, we never though that this person would be in charge so we went back up front and about an additional ten minutes later the woman that was in a heated argument on her phone about her credit emerged and i asked her if she was in charged and she asked me if i wanted something, and not to be to sarcastic or insulting on the time i had spent there waiting, bar unattended, cash register unattended and customers waiting, I replied to her "that would be real nice if she took care of us". Well you talk about a raging bull, but that's who she got possessed by, she went behind the bar and started kicking things around and asked me with a hostile voice "what did I want with a look on her face of a bull ready to gore the Matador in a bull fight. At that point i had to ask my girlfriend to leave this dive. She has to learn that her problems are not our problems. Ruined the beautiful weekend.
If the review had a zero that's what i would had given it. My advice is do not go there. This woman needs help. Hope that her next job is not serving people. Maybe counting salmon in the Columbia river would be a good job, but i feel sorry for the salmon.
