We found the room very spacious and comfortable. This is similar to an Airbnb, you're given a key code for the elevator and room. Assistance is a quick phone call or text. Someone got back to me very quickly. We loved our stay. Prophet Coffee shop right next door. Delicious coffees and pastries.

Harbor Watch court in Mt. Pleasant was WONDERFUL. We spent Thanksgiving week there and it was one of the best family trips we have enjoyed to please everyone and all ages. A spacious house equipped with everything, not to mention the corn hole, putting green, kayaks and fishing. It was clean, spacious and the views of the Ravenal bridge and ships going by are spectacular. If you have a big group it’s perfection! Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay with StayDuvet in Mount Pleasant! The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do in Charleston. The home itself was beautifully appointed and incredibly well-equipped. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the amenities to the décor, making it feel both luxurious and welcoming. Communication from the StayDuvet team was top-notch — quick, clear, and helpful throughout our entire stay. The whole experience truly exceeded all expectations - the best Airbnb experience we have ever had! Highly recommend!!

My daughter and I stayed for a week in Charleston at Stay Duvet’s Red Robin apartment. It was wonderful and the website describing it was very accurate. While small, it was perfectly set up for two people. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and newness of the apartment. Its location was extremely convenient to everything we wanted to do. And we felt very safe in the neighborhood. The front bedroom is on a very busy street but a wave machine was more than adequate for masking the noise. We found the local staff at Stay Duvet very friendly and very helpful. We can highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay there again.

Great house and location. We were in town with our two adult children for Christmas. North Charleston has a nice downtown area that is rich with restaurants, bars and shops and is an easy <5-minute walk. Charleston proper was 10-15 minutes away as was the airport. The house itself has everything you would hope for and then some. We did some cooking in the well-appointed kitchen, hung and watched a movie in the great living area and then wore out the corn hole and ping pong table. We would stay here again without hesitation. I reached out to the management for a couple of questions, and they were very responsive.

We had a last minute change in vacations, which landed us in Charleston. Upon a quick scan of Marriott Homes & Villas options, the Stay Duvet on Coming Street popped up, which was PERFECT for our family of 3. Our 6 yr old loved having a "house" to be in, and we loved having extra space and a kitchen. THe location was also amazing - few blocks from King Street and very close to incredible restaurants - The Grocery, Sourgum & Salt, Chubby Fish, Sea Horse, Tutti, Leon's, etc. The hosts were also very easy to get in touch with and quickly responsive to our request for an early check in. We would definitely go back!

5 star weekend - Can I live while I’m young at Makai House? From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special—an ocean of love. The Makai House is a stunner—modern, stylish, and set up perfectly for a friends’ weekend. The living and bar area felt like something out of a trendy city hotel, but with the relaxed energy that only Folly can bring. The communication from the property management team was top-notch—quick, clear, and helpful at every step. We settled in effortlessly and immediately felt at home. Rooms were spacious and spotless, with comfy linens that made it a little too easy to sleep in. The layout gave everyone enough space to unwind or hang together, whether we were cooking, lounging, or swapping stories late into the night. Location-wise, it doesn’t get better. Your trip is short—a quick walk brought us to Bert’s Market (which is basically a rite of passage for any Folly trip), and the beach was just a few blocks away. This place truly exceeded expectations. Every little detail hit just right, and by the end of the weekend, our crew was already plotting a return trip. We hope to see it again if you know what I mean. By the end of the trip, it felt like we’d floated through something bigger. We came back sun-kissed, recharged, and laughing nonstop about the little moments we’ll never forget. The ocean is love. And this house? It helped us remember exactly where we were. Phishin’ on Pholly 2025.

We had an awesome girls' weekend, staying at the Sundance House! The location of the house is just perfect - so close to the great shopping, restaurants and bustle of Charleston but on a relatively quiet and peaceful block. The layout of the house, with the open-concept kitchen/dining/living space downstairs and the nicely sized bedrooms upstairs, was perfect for 6 middle-aged college friends. The furnishings and linens were clean and comfortable, as was the overall house. Overall, an ideal location and a great house that retains its old-Charleston charm along with modern amenities and conveniences, including the pool and modern, updated kitchen and bathrooms. Would definitely book another stay!

Yelp
If I could leave 0 stars I would.. This company knew ahead of time our stay would be due to a surgery. When we got there the place was filthy. The sofa, where I would have to sleep was stained and soiled. I have 3 small children and even they don't make this kind of mess. It's like they hosted a bunch of Diddy party's and never bothered to clean up the aftermath... absolutely disgusting. Their description of a "prime location" is a joke. It's near what I would describe as an industrial area with a convenient market and some projects up the street. Hello Tweekerville USA.. As we tried to work with them they offered to clean the sofa - but it's too late, they would never dry in time regardless. The surgeon and his assistant advised against staying on this sofa, cleaned or not, due to high risk of infection. Despite relaying this to them, and them knowing full well the reason for our stay, they stopped responding to our messages and ignored us. It was so bad we had to co tact Air BnB directly.

Yelp
Renter beware. The house we rented was not well maintained and was used very hard. The Clean Duvet guarantee is a total scam. Stay away from Stay Duvet!

Yelp
Live cockroaches and elevated levels of mold was present in the 3 bedroom unit I stayed in. Stay Duvet does not use a professional exterminator to deal with cockroaches. I tried to work with management to address the multiple issues with the property, but they declined my assistance.

Yelp
TERMITE INFESTATION After months of planning, our college reunion was booked! We were staying at the Indigo House right off King Street. Upon arriving on Friday and walking upstairs, we discovered the upstairs (with two bedrooms and living room) did not have central AC. The two bedrooms had wall units which cooled the rooms down at night - so we were going to make it work! Unfortunately the living room stayed around 80 degrees during the day, but the room did cool off at night. The bedrooms did not have dressers to unpack - no problem! The beds were big enough so we could lay our clothes out on one side of the bed. On Sunday night, the last night of our trip, I came upstairs to find my bed (and therefore clothes) covered in mating termites. We then inspected the second bedroom upstairs which also had termites on the bed. At check in I noticed feathers from the duvet/pillows - how nice! However, these turned out to be the shedding wings of the termites. We immediately called the 24/7 emergency number, but no one answered. Finally, we received a text message stating someone would be coming by with a fresh set of sheets. Unacceptable. A representative for Stay Duvet came by the house and while he was extremely nice and professional, he did not have the authority or ability to offer a solution other than we should change the sheets. Right before midnight, almost 3 hours later, the representative text saying he thinks he might, maybe, possibly have found us another Stay Duvet property to stay for the night. The two bedrooms upstairs were infested, but the two bedrooms downstairs were (hopefully) OK. At that point, we took our chances and bunked up in the downstairs room. After multiple calls and negotiations back and forth, Stay Duvet reimbursed us minus taxes and fees. However, we were still out over $1,000. Stay Duvet, there are three major issues: 1. You advertise "guest services are available 24/7 for emergency support" but guests are unable to immediately get in touch with a live person via phone call. There is no one who is able to offer prompt, immediate action. 2. If a home, such as the Indigo House, does not have central AC throughout the home, this should be noted so guests are aware prior to booking. 3. You offer "The Clean Duvet Guarantee", but the Indigo House is infested with termites. Will you fix for future guests, or will you sweep under the (dirty) duvet?

Yelp
I rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in downtown Charleston, SC. It was located in the historic part of downtown (Society St). Pros: --although it is an older house, clearly the owners try to keep it well maintained. --It had a fabulous porch extending the length of the home --it is located within walking distance of great restaurants and cocktail bars. --the unit had a full kitchen --the unit had a huge wall-mounted Roku TV set (no Roku account needed to use); I enjoyed that much better than the typical limited cable TV package offerings --there were not too many chores that needed to be done at check-out --allowed a prorated hourly rate on late checkout. Cons: --there is no soundproofing between our unit on the bottom floor, and the unit on the second floor; so even just normal walking can sound like loud clomping --the plumbing is very noisy --because of the downtown location, it can get pretty noisy from Friday and Saturday night partyers --no slip-proof mat in the master bathtub/shower; it is very slippery in there.

Yelp
Had a really great experience booking through Stay Duvet!! Great customer service and a lovely stay in Charleston

Yelp
DO NOT EVER BOOK through Stay Duvet. They have completely disregarded weather safety concerns. They refuse to rebook or refund despite a hurricane headed right towards the coast AND a governor issued state of emergency. Businesses, schools and government entities are closing. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, DISREGARD FOR SAFETY AND ONLY FOCUSED ON MONEY. Extremely DISSATISFIED.

Yelp
I would highly recommend NOT renting any property managed by Stay Duvet. They are no better than any slumlord who takes your money for a security deposit, with no intention to ever pay back the full amount. You will receive maybe half of your security deposit back (if you're lucky), and then receive some phony invoice with some trumped up charges with no detailed descriptions that are allegedly supposed to show where your money went. I'd give a 0 star rating if I could.
