STAY Modern Restaurant by Yannick Alleno

STAY provides a fabulous dining experience, the staff are absolute professionals at what they do, and were certainly 5 star. The sweeping views of Seoul’s skyline & surrounding mountain ranges, coupled with STAY’s cozy, classy interior creates an extraordinary ambiance. I had the FUN course which was available during lunch hours and every single course I ate was expertly created & perfectly executed. Each dish appealed to a different area of my palette, and by the end of the meal, I was left feeling perfectly satisfied but not overly full. The staff did an excellent job of timing when to bring out dishes between courses in order to aid in digestion. Overall, this was a 5 star experience, Chef Yannick Alleno impresses yet again, I highly recommend you try this Michelin Star winning restaurant.

I think there's a good reason why STAY hasn't earned a Michelin star like its Dubai counterpart. The steak was good but everything else fell flat. Appetizers felt one-dimensional and lacked depth. I was especially disappointed by the uni slapped thoughtlessly on top of ravioli and drowned in red sauce for some reason. Even the sourdough bread was awfully overbaked and too chewy. The dessert bar was fine, nothing to write home about.

We came here for a special celebration luncheon - most of experience was beyond my expectation. The stunning view of the city from 81st floor was absolutely unforgettable along with their well designed course. Their steak and desserts were impressive. Most preciously, the caring warm service of the staff were the best, elevating our “stay” experience comfortable and relaxing. Till next visit!

The view is beautiful and the service was excellent. The food was below average and not what I expected at a restaurant of this caliber. The only thing that was decent was the Hanwoo Beef which was melt in your mouth. However, all the rest of the food was below average at best. They provided multiple courses of desserts which were colorful but nothing special.

1 🌟 Michelin Restaurant. I was here previously to have a dinner with my date. The view is breathtaking. It is located in Signiel hotel/building, the 5th tallest building in the world. Having dinner here would allow you to see a birds eye view of Seoul from the skyscraper. Not only that the food was served at a very comfortable pace to ensure you have a great time. One of the venues with superb services in South Korea, Seoul. A good place for either a romantic dinner or for a family dinner.

It's an enjoyable experience, all the way from bread, butter to dessert! Just one anecdote to highlight the excellent service - my wife ordered a cappuccino and there was cinnamon on which she is not particularly keen. We try to manage ourselves with me skimming all the cinnamon on the milk foam so that my wife could enjoy the coffee. Suddenly the waiter comes out of nowhere and offer to change the coffee for us. We explained there is nothing wrong with the coffee but just cinnamon is not a favorite. A freshly brewed cappuccino without cinnamon is on our table in no time. This is what I call - customer centric service.

Consider the price, the portion of food is not enough. Amazing view and nice service should be deserved 5stars. I had an Korean steak as a part of my main dish. It cooked perfect so I can enjoy the tenderness. My husband had lobster course which has two pieces. After the main dishes, we were still pretty hungry. Sweets are served as buffet that helped us filled up a little. Generally this place is good for desserts.

Well here I can say only WoW…!!! And deep respect to entire team who cooperate for arrangements of this surprise for my Miss birthday, so receptive and professional attitude to details. Vast collection of wines in wine cellar we chose one age related, that was right decision. Fantastic experience with delicious food and dessert’s great job good staff.
