Yelp
This was hands down the best dining experience I've had to date. Yes, I've had great experiences, but Steak 48 delivered a stellar first impression and dining experience.
From the moment we walked in, every single staff member greeted us and thanked us for coming in...it was a busy Saturday evening, and so many places would allow subpar customer service to account for the busy; however, that is a no go at Steak 48. Eye contact, smiles, head nods...I loved it!
Having a reservation, we were promptly seated. The ambiance is now lighting, acoustics that allow for pleasant conversation, with a backdrop of a mixture of old school r&b and pop, among other genres of music at an appropriate volume. In the dining room we were in, there was a TV in the corner, I guess it was really situated for the bar area.
The servers and the server assistants were amazing! Adam, our server, was enthusiastic, clear, and knowledgeable about the menu offerings-those on and off menu. I would trust any suggestion he made when it comes to the food.
We started with the Deviled Eggs and the Roasted Beet Salad. The eggs come with a fried shrimp and Parmesan crisp. Absolutely delicious bite! The Roasted Beet salad was fresh, with red and golden beets, a light citrus dressing and roasted pistachios. It was a perfect opener.
For entrees, we got the 22oz bone in ribeyes, our guests ordered the tomahawk with scallops added on, and the sides are family style, enough for 4 people. For steak add-on, GET THE TRUFFLE BUTTER, and the sautéed onions! Yum! For sides we ordered: sweet potatoes, potatoes au gratin, snap peas and truffle fries. The sweet potato soufflé is absolutely delicious! You can taste the butter and vanilla, it's not too sweet, just a perfect side dish. The potatoes au gratin were very flavorful-cheesy and creamy, delicious. How can you go wrong with truffle fries? You can, but they did not! Crispy outside and soft inside! And, the steamed sugar snap peas offered a delicious and crunchy texture.
They have a great drinks menu and dessert options. The Cucumber Guava was a hit, as was the Stone Fruit Martini.
To top off this great meal, they brought mini chocolate chip cookies for the table. We had opted out of the dessert, but we found a little room for the bite sized chocolate bliss!
From the restrooms to the dessert, Steak 48 is a must have dining experience, and I can't wait to return.
