We took out the meals. It was packed! Looks like they are very popular for a Monday evening 🔥. The BBQ bacon burger was great. The chili dog too and the regular dog was really nice. The fries are the best! The prices are very reasonable. Next time I will eat in there 👌🏻

Excellent service! The burgers are delicious! Big and tasty! Recommend it!

Happy hour for shakes are 2-5pm Monday-Thursday. Sadly no Nutella flavor but there’s a great chocolate one with fresh banana! Lucked out with not one but two cherries, except they had an off-putting flavor, like they were expired, dried out, or stored with a vegetable. Got the patty melt and thought it’d be cut in half but that was okay. It was fantastic. Good sauce, meat cooked well, and perfect buttery sourdough bread! Service was quick. Enjoyed dipping my entire sandwich and fries into the shake, despite the fact that the fries no longer have the option of being covered on Parmesan garlic seasoning. Still good fast food. Well done.

I am here at Steak 'n Shake to celebrate my birthday. Why? Because I received an email from Steak and Shake to come in to receive a free shake. I presented them with the offer yet they would not give me a birthday shake so I wasted my time and gasoline tonight. I even spoke with the manager and explained explained to her my disappointment. She had the gall to say have a happy birthday! Please don’t send any more emails enticing me with birthday gifts that you don’t intend to honor and ruining my birthday evening with my family.

Google
I'm not looking for anything fancy from a burger joint, so if your plain burger can stand on its own, you are doing something right. Delicious shoestring fries are included with every burger, I just wish it was a little more. Compare this to any fast food burger spot and steak and shake is miles ahead of them. Better food, better price point AND their ice cream machine is never broken. This is a regular stop for me whenever I am in town.

Had a great time our server was super sweet. Quick and easy sit down and relaxed meal. Not super formal and family friendly restaurant for everyone! The Frisco burger 6/10 The 3 shooters Meal 9/10! The regular fries 5/10 The shakes 10/10!

Really yummy food! Gets really packed but they manage the line well. Food took quite a while to come out, which is weird cause there’s barely an items on the menu, but overall good experience, it’s inside the south point. Parking gets packed

Man, we had such a great time at Steak ’n Shake in Southport, Las Vegas! From the second we walked in, the host was super friendly and made us feel welcome, like we were regulars. Our waiter was awesome—really on top of things and made sure everything came out just right. The food? Perfect. It came out fast, hot, and fresh, just the way we like it. The vibe in there was so cool, too, with that old-school music playing—it felt like stepping back in time in the best way. Now let me tell you about that strawberry milkshake. WOW. I’ve had some good shakes in my time, but this one might just take the cake. It was so creamy and flavorful, I’m still thinking about it. If you’re ever in Vegas, you’ve gotta check this spot out. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Yelp
This is a fantastic place with amazing servers, workers and cooks! The place is always clean and they do their best to seat quickly. My husband ordered a steak burger, fries and a strawberry shake. He inhaled it. I had a a grilled chicken salad. It was huge. The vegetables were crispy and tasty. The salad dressing was on point. I wish I had one right now.

Yelp
Burger joint inside South Point Hotel & Casino [Las Vegas NV] By the time we arrived and got settled in our hotel it was already getting late -- wait, what was I thinking... we were in Vegas so at around 10:30p we made our way across the street at Steak 'n Shake inside South Point Hotel, Casino. Despite the restaurant being busy we were able to get seated right away. Inside was a spacious 50's-style diner. It was a noisy atmosphere... very much a Friday night. We shared a Grilled Portobello 'n Swiss Steakburger... we mentioned to our server that we would split it between me and the hubby. It was served to us already cut in half with a plateful of fries each. Awesome and thanks! Everything was delicious and portion was just right for my appetite that evening. Customer service was excellent! Review #3711

Yelp
Staff was nice and attentive. The food was ok, something I definitely would not crave for. My burger was drenched in mayo so that's all I tasted out of that. A Whopper from BK tasted better. It wasn't horrible, but nothing to brag about. Ill try their PRIME burgers next time, if I'm ever forced to go here again.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late bite after a day of gambling. I ordered the chili Mac Supreme and cheese fries. The fries were nice and crispy with the perfect amount of cheese on top. The chili Mac was delicious, and great value for only $8.95. This location is worth a try when visiting the South Point. Service was great and food came out hot and tasty! They also have daily Half off happy hour specials on milk shakes. This is a smaller location so wait times may vary for the wait on seating, but they do offer a separate line for to-go orders. This location is open until 1am seven days a week

Yelp
We come here in December every year for the World Series Team Roping and NFR. My kids love it. You can always count on a good meal and excellent service. My husband actually recognized the guy this year as one that has been there for several years. Always good food, clean and good service. Typically a line to get in but thats ok!

Yelp
Like so many establishments since the pandemic, Steak 'n Shake is not as good as it was. The menu has gotten smaller, the food quality worse, and service is unfriendly. We came here as a family in hopes to get our grub on with some burgers and shakes. I ordered a classic Angus with fries, my husband ordered a mushroom burger with fries, and we ordered a sliders plate with fries for our toddler. We also shared a strawberry milk shake. Portions of everything were smaller. Less meat patty, less tomato and lettuce, less fries, and even less milkshake. Before the pandemic, when you ordered a shake you got a beautiful milkshake with an accompanying tall silver glass of "extra shake." Service was bearable; our waitress was not attentive or very friendly. Times are tough. Overall it was an okay experience. Not the same as it was years ago.

Yelp
Inside the casino, there always seems to be an event besides the bowling events. Very busy inside the parking garage and the casino. Take the stairs, it's faster. (Taking the 215 here was pretty easy.) Prices have sure increased since the last time we were here, maybe a couple of years ago. No more deals but there is Happy Hour, Sun- Thurs only. Every drink and shake is half off. We got here at 11 am, this past sunday. There were about fifteen to twenty people in line. But we were able to get a booth. We still saw some familiar faces. It's been a few years. We used to come here more frequently. We split our checks. I had the single cheese burger with fries, $6.45. Hubby had one that was in the $10 range. Stringbean got the double cheese burger. Ours ended up being a little over $27. I had a gift card from AARP, $5, and another gift card for $15. No complaints about service. My MIL and hubby's step-dad got the double cheese burger and fries, and the steak frank with chili (jeez, lots of raw onions), and fries , and the onion rings appetizer, crispy golden and good. There are four locations, the others are near the Strip, near the Trop, one in downtown, and one inside The Cannery casino/hotel. The one in Anthem closed permanently. ((You can't use the APP with this one, inside the Southpoint.))

Yelp
This Steak 'n Shake is located inside of the south point casino. I decided to come here after watching a movie. There was not a long wait and we were seated quickly. The server was nice and attentive and the restaurant was clean. For the price the burgers were good but there weren't anything super special. What I didn't like was that there was not a lot of sauce on the shooters which made it hard to taste the different flavors despite ordering different sauces because I wanted to try the other flavors. The buns were also a bit dry. I loved the fries because I like thin and crispy fries. I also had the chocolate strawberry milkshake and it was amazing. I would come back if I'm at south point and hungry!

Yelp
Fire burger with super mid fries & questionable lemonade. I just so happen to forget not to order lemonade when I come here. Service is always great & a decent waiting time.

Yelp
So if you aren't a big eater, you could actually split a burger, shake and fries, and walk away after lunch around 2, without being hungry by dinner! I had a bacon cheeseburger with french fries and a Butterfinger shake. The shakes are huge, and easily split between 2 people. The service was quick, but that kind of depends on the time you go. We like to go here before the movies. Today we were on our way to watch some barrel racing and check out the vendors in the arena to do a little shopping.

Yelp
If you don't want to wait and your hungry for a quick bite. This is the place to be.. Simple steak burgers and fries hits the spot every time. Staff is quick and friendly and food comes out quick. *tip they charge for ranch dressing* Quick Diner ambiance and cool place to hang out after a bowling league :)

Yelp
This place was a disappointment. The food was consistently lukewarm, and the flavors were underwhelming, especially the burgers, which lacked quality and taste. Prices were unreasonably high for what was served. The service left much to be desired, with young employees who seemed disengaged and inattentive. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Yelp
First time trying S&S. Was told to try the larger, single patty "prime burger" over their signature steakburger. Burger was good; fine, not great. The fries were excellent and the star of the show: Thinner than McDonald's fries but thicker than crispy, shoestring style fries. The milkshakes looked great but I didn't try one. Ambience is retro-diner. Service was friendly and efficient. I'll return to try a double steakburger, a shake, and more fries.

Yelp
My mom and I did a mom/daughter dinner at the steak and shake inside the south point hotel and it's ALWAYS the best! The wait was barely anything and the staff was awesome! They were very attentive and always asking if we were good with everything and refilled our water. Love this place! We don't have one back home so we always come here!! Highly recommend it! The ambiance is crowded because it's so popular, but worth it!

Yelp
I was so excited to be in Las Vegas on October 10th for the opening of Zippy's! I was so looking forward to celebrating with a big Zippy's feast. But some days before the opening I got an email from Zippy's warning that they expected a deluge of customers on opening day. They expected people lining up as early as 6 am and warned that parking would probably be next to impossible. Not wanting to deal with any of that, I decided to wait until the following day. I figured I'd have no problem getting in on Day 2. Wrong! Zippy's was still a total mob scene, there were about a million people milling about and the parking lot was jam packed with cars. I was like, nah dawg, I don't want to deal with this mess. So I headed over to my old time used-to-be, Steak 'n Shake. We go way back. I love Steak 'n Shake. I've had many great meals here at the South Point location. I love their big comfortable booths and I love their Milkshakes. Their burgers are pretty good too. I'm not a big fan of their shoestring fries, but they're OK, I guess. It was lunch time and I was worried on the drive over that I'd have to stand in a long ass line. To my surprise there was no line at all. I guess everyone was at Zippy's. I was able to immediately score a booth. The waitress came over and I ordered a double steakburger. For some reason I forgot to order a shake, I didn't realize it until just after she walked to the back to put in my order. Instantly I knew how badly I screwed up. It usually takes a while to get your shake and I knew that because of my little mistake my burger was going to be served and I was going to have no shake to go with it. I desperately looked toward the back, waiting for my waitress to emerge, hoping I could place my shake order. I swear it was only like two minutes later my waitress came out from the back. Incredibly, she was bringing me my steakburger and fries. I was like, wow, how in the hell did they make my food so fast? She sat the food in front of me and took my shake order. I always get a Straw-nilla. That's one of my favorite things about Steak 'n Shake: the side by side milkshakes, two flavors in one glass. These specialty shakes cost a little more than the regular shakes, but they're so much fun, it's totally worth it. The restaurant gods smiled on me this day because it didn't take long at all for my shake to arrive. And it was absolutely perfect. It wasn't perfectly 50/50, but that was fine with me because I like it a little more vanilla than strawberry, and that's how it came out. I was totally stoked! My burger was just OK. Kind of disappointing, really. Hence the three star designation. The patties were overcooked and a little dry. I was like, what the hell? That almost never happens here. Must've been an off day for the kitchen. The shoestring fries were disappointing too, definitely undercooked. Nobody likes undercooked fries, especially undercooked shoestring fries. By the time I finished my meal the restaurant was a little busier, but there were still plenty of tables available. I guess this place isn't as popular as it once was. But never mind, I'm still down with Steak'n Shake. This visit was kinda disappointing, but I'm sure they'll probably be a lot better next visit. Mikey C says: did I mention that shakes were 50% off during Happy Hour? I didn't? Damn, I should've included that.

Yelp
Didn't feel good after eating here, brutal service and undercooked food. Supervisor comped bad food to her credit. Ice cream choices way better near Sportsbook. This location needs to clean the grease traps and use seasoning.

Yelp
Ever since Steak 'n Shake opened at the South Point, I was going to give it a try from the good word of mouth I had gotten. However, there was always a long line when I was going to eat there, and I opted not to wait. I had an early show at the South Point last night, so I went to SnS about 4:30 PM. There was no line and the restaurant had plenty of seats. I looked over the menu and as I was looking my server asked me about a drink. I answered, like a recording--iced tea. No wait. I was at a place noted for its shakes. I have to skip my normal and try a shake so I ordered an Oreo Cookies and Cream milkshake. For the burger part, I ordered the jalapeño crunch steakburger. In what seemed no time at all, the burger was brought. She then went to the milkshake area and retrieved my shake. The jalapeño crunch burger had pepperjack cheese, chipotle mayonnaise, salsa, jalapeños, and fried onions. It was a combo so it came with shoestring fries. The burger consists of two patties. The burger was good and I liked the amount of jalapeños. The salsa really was unnecessary as it didn't add flavor to the burger. The shoestring potatoes would never draw me here. They needed a lot of salt and were so inferior to other places. At least I got the chance to try SnS and since it was a weekday between 2 and 5, the shake was 50% off for their happy hour promotion.

Yelp
I was at the Steak n Shake in Tropicana where the service was beyond rude. It rose to elder abuse. I am 70 years old and in poor health. I ordered a shake to go. After waiting a half an hour, I complained about the wait. It was practically empty. The woman proclaimed loudly in front of others that I am "arrogant " . She gave me an intense angry look and was very, very nasty. When I asked to speak to the manager, she told me that she was the manager! When I asked for the name of her supervisor, she replied, "I am not going to tell you!" and again, "Your arrogant!" I noticed the shocked look at the other patrons as she was making a scene. Another lady came out from and had a long private talk with her. This other lady then came to me and said she will get my shake right away. Compared to the manager, this lady was extremely polite. She was obviously trying to make up for the manager's surly behavior. While I appreciate the Second Lady's attempt to mollify the terrible situation. The incident spoiled my appetite and I ended up throwing my overpriced shake away. I was that upset. I couldn't even sleep that night. I wanted to read the name on the manager's tag but I was too scared to get that close because I was afraid that she would even hit me. Her behavior was that thuggish. Since I take blood thinners, a bloody nose or a black eye has the potential of ending my life. In hindsight, I should have filed a police report for emotional elder abuse. It was obvious to me that I represented something to this manager, something that she hates with a burning passion. I felt I was in an unsafe neighborhood at Steak n Shake. For these reasons, I will never patronize ANY of their locations. Why spend money only to be publicly insulted and intimidated. I left a message for the general manager but after a week he still has not reached out to me. I even tried contacting corporate headquarters but their webpage doesn't have a customer service number nor even a means of emailing them. They don't even list a mailing address so there's no means of voicing a complaint. Could this be why the night manager has the confidence to be so brazen in her abuse of customers without fear of consequences? An organization like this does not deserve my business. I also cannot in good conscience say that this location is even safe for senior citizens and those with health issues.

Yelp
We had such a fun time stopping in at Steak 'n Shake when we got to Las Vegas! After traveling from the East Coast all day, we were starving and eating here was perfect. I had always thought of Steak 'n Shake as a fast food place to hit at an airport, but this place was much different. A big restaurant with comfortable booths and delicious comfort food. My Prime burger with fries was good, but the strawberry milkshake really was the star. A fun place to kick off the trip!

Yelp
Quick, tasty burgers & fries. They're one of my fast foods favorites. It's great people watchin' going through the casino to the restaurant.

Viet N.

Yelp
I don't like to leave bad reviews but this place deserves it. French fries are flavorless, onion rings are soggy, chili is mealy and also nearly flavorless, the chicken in the chicken salad is dry. The chocolate milkshake was good.
google avatar

Jorge P.

Yelp
If you're in the area and want something fast and affordable, this place is definitely an option! Nothing out of this world but for the price, for sure worth the visit. Plus, I noticed there was never a long line so good place to come & go if you're in a rush. I ordered a regular Single Steakburger and onion rings. Surprisingly the onion rings were pretty fire and I would get them again. Even though I love their skinny thin fries, I still liked their onion rings. A bonus was that another person in our group ordered fries & we shared haa. Two birds, one stone. The service was good as well, I'll come back if I was in the area. Personal Review: 6.9/10

Yelp
Located inside SouthPointe Casino. This place has changed since it opened - a bit for the worse. I guess they aren't affiliated with the main corporate business anymore, so they don't offer the same perks. No more paper hats or paper model cars. Also, it seems the menu was reduced. The quality of the food seemed the same, but the prices are a lot higher than I remember. If you're looking for a pretty good burger and in the area, this is not a bad place to stop. You may have to wait in a bit of line as many people staying at SouthPointe or the Grandview may pick this as a dining spot, so check ahead if possible.
google avatar

Chelsea S.

Yelp
This place is a Midwest staple but SO hard to track down on the west coast! I was curious if it would live up to my memories. The fries were great- thin and crispy, which is exactly how I remembered. I ordered the chili Mac but with no chili (not sure why this isn't a menu option, since I'd think a lot of people want spaghetti with red sauce). The sauce was always my favorite thing about Steak n Shake so I was stoked. They followed my request for no chili, but wow they skimped on the sauce. Unfortunately this was a take out order, so I was out of luck. But overall, it was exactly how I remembered, and the nostalgia was enough to make me want to come back.

Yelp
This location is inside SouthPoint Casino. Make sure you wait to be seated. Food was good. Family atmosphere. We had a salad, burgers, and chicken for our party. And of course shakes. Not as thick as expected, but still yummy. You can pay at the register at the counter. Our waitress was attentive on refills. Would come again!
google avatar

Yelp
I was at the Southpoint for a concert in the Showroom amd looking for a little pre-show dinner. At first I was checking out the Del Mar Deli but the line was kind of long and I didn't really find anything on the menu. So I decided to give Steak N Shake a try instead. The restaurant was crowded inside but there was no real line outside. I was taken in and seated pretty quickly. It did not take me long to choose a mushroom burger. That is my go to whenever trying a new burger. I almost changed it up, though. It took a while for someone to come by and tale my order. I had lots of time to keep looking at other menu items. But I stuck to it and ordered soon enough. My order was ready surprisingly quickly considering how busy it was. The burger was on a soft and fluffy brioche bun. Smashed steak burger. Swiss cheese. An adequate amount of mushrooms. All in all, a tasty burger. And served with a plate full of fries. Shoe string fries. Not my favorite but that is what they serve. A bit of ketchup and they went right down. Then came decision time. Would I like dessert? Well, I don't really need dessert but this place is called Steak N SHAKE. I asked if they serve malts and they do. So I ordered a chocolate malt. I knew full well that this would be much more than I really wanted. I like chocolate malts but not in large quantities. I'm not a huge ice cream fan. But I dug right in. Good. Not great. I could have used more chocolate and more malt. I finished up around 7:00. The concert was going to start at 7:30. I needed to settle up still and there was a line at the register. Well, not by the time I got there. Only one person in front of me then. But they finished up and I stepped up to pay. I swiped my card but something happened and the transaction was canceled. There were 3 people trying to sort that out. It took a few minutes. Finally I was on my way. The good burger and the value is the reason for the 4 star rating. I was expecting to pay much more than I actually did being that this place is in a casino on Las Vegas Blvd. Service was a little slow. As I said, it was busy. I understand that. Then the issue at the register was getting frustrating. So really a mixed experience here. At least the music was good. Both in the restaurant and at the concert afterwards.
google avatar

Katelyn P.

Yelp
Love the quality of the milkshakes but I wasn't a big fan of their Frisco Melt. The meat didn't taste fresh even though I ate it right away after ordering to-go. I do like their fries as they're exactly like McDonalds fries but skinnier. They charge extra for sauce and no longer have the seasoning. Service was up to par but you don't see the menu until you're at the register. I do recommend just eating inside as the to-go line gets really long.

Yelp
Phenomenal fast casual burger spot. Burgers are always on point. Located by the escalators leading to the movie theater inside South Point Casino. Service is quick even when it looks too busy.

Yelp
Decided to try a burger and shake before the ABBAcadabra show here at the South Point Casino. We go seated immediately and our order taken quickly. The staff split out double burger and cheese fries for us which was nice. The burger was cooked well and tasted great. We also loved the thin fries with cheese. The shake was great, not too sweet or thick so you could drink it through the straw. We have jad just shakes here in the past which always were great. Service was fast and friendly, and price reasonable. Definitely would eat here again.
google avatar

Beau C.

Yelp
Prob the best $5.99 burger you will get in a casino. The shakes have shrunk in size but grow. In price in the past couple years and a little stingy on fries but still a good deal and a good go. Fav shake is the strawberry with fudge. Best burger is the mushroom Swiss or jalapeno.
google avatar

Candice Y.

Yelp
This is locate inside of south point casino. Love how they have separated window for to go and pick up. Super convenient. I just happened to find out they have happy hour when we went. It was definitely great deal for us. We just got 2 milk shake and they were super fast and delicious. It was little bit on the thicker side so you need spoon to scoop or wait a little bit if you want to use the straw. Over all it was a great first time experience at Steak 'n Shake and will not be my last. Will definitely check out their food items next time.

Yelp
It's great to finally try out Steak 'n Shake after all of these years living in Hawaii and not able to try it! Steak 'n Shake was THE place to go when I went to college in the Midwest after a late night and we wanted to go somewhere after hours. Now at South Point, I'm able to re-experience this 50's style diner again! Luckily, everytime I have came, I never had to wait in line but they do have someone there to help with that. Parking is free and bathrooms are right next door. My go-to is the Frisco melt and I absolutely love their fries and shakes. There's just something about their fries that taste so good and I just want to dip them in something each time I take a bite! The shakes are great! Definitely better than other fast food joints I've been to. Service was great - our food came out on time and the server checked on us as expected. I would definitely come back to this location if I want a late night meal again or just need a place to eat with friends!

Mike D.

Yelp
Best late night items or any meal really. Loved this place years but need more locations. Great burgers and chili 3 or 5 way. Awesome shakes and freezes.

Yelp
If you've never eaten at Steak n Shake, you've been missing out! Burgers, fries and think milkshakes are their staple offerings. The location in the Southpoint Hotel and Casino has been there for years, and always has a line! The takeout window next to the restaurant gives you a way to grab some of this great food and milkshakes without going inside the restaurant. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in for a banana shake after our dinner in another restaurant in South Pointe. We started drinking it before I realized I needed a picture of it. It was busy in the restaurant with both inside dining and takeout. It's very good. Service is awesome. We had a nice, helpful, friendly waitress. We will return to try other menu items in the near future.

Yelp
My husband grew up in Illinois and Steak 'n Shake was a special treat for him as a kid. So 25 years ago on a road trip to his grandmothers 95th birthday it was on the road trip stop. Through the years we have stopped at various Steak n' Shakes. I have visited this location a few times and was happy. My husband has tried the other two location and disappointed both times. So we trekked across Las Vegas to South Point hoping to rekindle that childhood memory of chile three ways. Even in the casino you still get the diner feel. Retro tables, high back booths, and diner counter. We waited for a bit when the hostess who was ironically training someone to host said "make sure you acknowledge and attending to guests waiting to be seated. All the while she had her back to us. She did eventually see and immediately seated us in a booth. It was perfect almost like our first date. Our waitress quickly took our drink order and returned with a delicious ice cold root beer. She took our food order. Great classics played as we waited. You know the kind of music that took you down memory lane. Although it was before our time. Our food arrived and looked amazing!! Mouth watering amazing. My burger was outstanding! Perfectly grilled burger topped with crispy lettuce and tomatoes, long cut pickles, grilled onions and gooey cheese all on a toasted bun. It's was a perfect bite in every bite. The onion rings were okay but nothing over the moon. The fries are thinly cut and just the right amount. My husband enjoyed his chile 3 ways. I did dip my fries to taste the chile, no complaints... I bet their chile cheese fries would be awesome!! Something to try another time. Overall it was a great experience. Definitely will be back on a future tournament stop.

Yelp
First time eating at Steak and Shake in general and it reminds me of Johnny Rockets with the atmosphere and how the wall decor look. We got seated right away once i walked up to the hostess stand and it was quite busy inside. The service was a little slow with getting our orders taken but it was most definitely understandably busy. Theres also a to go section on the outside of this place which is just right around the corner. I ordered the chili 5 way which is spaghetti with chili, extra chili beef, cheddar and jack cheese and onion (which i asked for no onion). My father got the bacon lover burger which he really liked and my mother got the royale burger which she also really liked. My spaghetti dish was really good and filling plus it came with a side of parmesan cheese and crackers.... At first when i got my dish i didnt think it would fill me up but it did! My parents really liked their dish and we would definitely come back here again. I must note that the food came out within 5 to 7 mins after ordering so theyre definitely speedy in terms of getting the orders out

Yelp
We enjoyed our meal as a fun family night out located right in South Point Casino !! We ordered our juicy burger and devoured it lol I like all the oldies retro decor on the walls - it has that charm & nostalgia of soda pop and 1950s ! I had the Reese's Pb shake and original double Steak burger as seen on the menu pic - it was a very busy ambiance with kiddos but service was great food delivered quick to our table. The fries are freshly made and burger melts In your mouth!

Yelp
l l food was awesome as it always is a Steak 'n Shake. I had a double steak, burger, fries and a shake and there's probably nothing better that you can get anywhere.

Yelp
I always visit this location. Whenever I'm at south point hotel. The staff is always friendly and the food is always wonderful. The price is cheap also. I always get the triple steak burger and fries for less than 10$. that's a great deal. Oh! how can I forget to mention the awesome shakes! 2-5 is happy for shakes. You get a really big shake for around 3.50$ you can't beat that. My favorite is the butterfinger shake.

Yelp
First time at a Steak n Shake. This was our default meal because we were staying next door to South Point and wanted to gamble and eat close by. The other restaurants in the casino all seemed pretty busy (Friday night) and there was also a line to get a table at Steak n Shake, albeit shorter. The hostess was sweet and sat us in about 10 minutes. Themed as a 50s diner with steak burgers, fries, chili, hot dogs, and shakes included on the menu. Our strawberry and Reese's peanut butter shakes came out first. They were thick, rich, and tasty. Next came our burgers and onion rings. I wasn't too impressed with either but they were ok, just a little too basic for the price. Service was great though! I still prefer In N Out, but Steak n Shake will do if you just need a burger (or a delicious shake) but don't want to walk out of the casino. Pro tip: They also have a takeout window just outside the restaurant.

Yelp
The food is tasty and great! The price is cheaper than I expected. Kaylee and Ingrid are super friendly and helpful! The place itself is clean and presentable even though they are busy! I love the vibe!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped by Steak 'n Shake for a bite to eat after seeing the new Batman movie, upon learning that they are open until 1:00am on Friday's and Saturday's. When we showed up at around 10:30pm, there was a short line, but it wasn't too bad. It was moving fairly quickly. When we walked in, it felt like we were transported back to the 50's, with the music and decor all around. Steak 'n Shake is located inside South Point Hotel & Casino - it's closed off from the entire casino, so it feels like you're dining inside of an actual diner. We were seated at a booth and our waitress was Lisa, who was friendly and had quick service skills. Their milkshakes are an absolute must try! They have a wide variety of milkshakes to choose from, ranging from the classic chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry to M&Ms and Oreos. I ordered the M&Ms milkshake and my boyfriend ordered the strawberry milkshake. We were here on Saturday night so we were outside of their happy hour window (Sunday's-Thursday's from 2-5pm and 8pm-closing). And now, for the food. I ordered the single steakburger with everything on it (cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and onions) and my boyfriend had the western steakburger. Both came with fries but he wanted the onion rings as well. The burger and fries were over the top delicious and my boyfriend liked his burger, fries and onions. While my boyfriend finished all of his food, I got full and decided to take mine back with me. I also decided to do the same with my milkshake, but clumsy me spilled some of it on the table. Though it was a bit of a mess, I did get most of it in my to go cup. This was a great restaurant to eat at. We will definitely be back after we see a late night movie.

Yelp
No stars. I got very sick after having their chili spaghetti there before. Second time eating there tonight after four years. No chili was on their Steak Dog and Chili. The order came with a small dog on a small bun. There were only some chili beans on the dog and a few onions and some cheese on top of it with some small thin french fries on the plate. This is Cafeteria food. Friend ordered a bowl of chili but retuned it as it had no taste. The shakes are worth buying. I don't trust their food there. I was a restaurant manager. I know good food.

Yelp
We love coming here. Especially when we go to the Cinemark upstairs for a movie or bowling. My daughter chose this place for dinner on her bday because she was in the burger mood and it never disappoints. We love Cajun seasoned fries and burger buns. The servers are always extremely nice and attentive here.

Yelp
I haven't been to this location in probably 10 years. There isn't a real reason for me to visit South Point and I wouldn't come here just to eat if we're being truly honest. We came to South Point to do the Lee's Liquor Wine Experience and knew that since we didn't have a DD, we were going to eat here and maybe watch a movie before we went home. What's the best way to sober up? A greasy burger and fries. Sitting down was easy, literally no wait, but it was only 445pm when we arrived so that may have been a factor, but there we quite a few convention go-ers in as well. The waitress took a while to get there but we were deciding what we wanted so it was ok. The food comes out quick! I forgot how thick and lovely the shakes here are. One is big enough to share between two people. Both burgers were as described, cooked well, seasoned nicely. The fries were hot and fresh. The only thing I didn't like was the onion rings, but that may be a style thing. Battered isn't my fave and these are heavily battered. Would eat here again, if at South Point for some reason or another.
