Steak 'n Shake

I do not leave reviews often but I don’t think this Steak n Shake gets enough credit for the improvements that have been made. A few years ago I would come here and wait 45+ minutes for an order that ended up being wrong. Today and the past 4-5 times I’ve come, I haven’t waited anymore than 5 minutes for my order in the drive thru… but the FOOD. Is absolutely delicious, my burger (western burger add lettuce and tomato) has been 5 STARS the past couple of months I’ve been here. My fries are always fresh. Everything is just good. I genuinely have nothing but good things to say. I’m so happy, as someone who grew up eating here, you guys are continuing to stand. Hope you continue to for a long, long time as I will continue to be a customer for the duration lol

5.01.25 Update: Chose to dine in today and the food was really, really good. The garlic Burger I ordered was delicious as always and the fries were piping hot and fresh. It took me a minute to understand this new arrangement about ordering through a machine and needing a QR code to get your pop. Thankfully, the customers and employees alike were very courteous and willing to help me. The counters, booths, and floors were clean. The clear dividers, not so much. But we could chalk that up to previous diners considering how everything else was clean. Orig Post: If only the shoestring fries were better, this would warrant 5 stars. As is, I'll say 4++. From burgers to shakes, everything is made to order using the FRESHEST ingredients. My favorite is the garlic burger. (I've even turned some of my garlic-avoiding friends on to it!) Milkshakes are super rich; once had a waitress recommend the child portion. That was plenty. There's also a "happy hour" when drinks, including their famous shakes, are half price! I recommend the turtle caramel nut milkshake...LUSCIOUS Inside there's plenty of seating - booth or table. There's also bar seating near the grill. That being said, this place is frequently crowded and often has a wait on weekends.

This is by far one of the cleanest restaurants I have been in for some time. The food and the placed smelled both delicious and clean and fresh. I had an extended conversation with Tara as I waited for my order to be prepared fresh and hot. She was a joy and I could tell she puts a lot of pride into her cooking. I certainly would go back soon and recommend others do also. I wish I had taken a picture of the clean bright location.

All orders are through the kiosk. Easy enough. The drink machine was a little odd, had to to use a QR code everytime to get a drink. Food was good and came out quickly. Seating was clean on the Saturday we went.

It's a steak N shake. I mean, I remember when, back in my day, they had table side servers but that's gone however they have been able to keep prices low. The burgers were good, cheese fries excellent, and shakes delicious. Still burger and fries but just different than regular ol places as you make a drive to places.

One of my daughter’s favorite spots to eat. Always yummy at an affordable price. Today we had the best service — the crew was so kind to my four year old and infant. The employee working the grill went out of his way to make sure my daughter had crayons and even opened the door for me as I carried out my infant. Extremely impressed by the service and kindness of this staff. Thank you! ❤️

Great and far service and they made sure to put napkins and ketchup in the bag ❤️ it! Most day food restaurants leave those items out. I had hot fresh fries and garlic butter burger 😋 yummy. I’ll be back for sure. Thank you💯
