"This spot has made its mark on Dallas by offering a more affordable steak, in the form of a steak frites plate. It’s cuts are thin and served with brandy peppercorn sauce. The most expensive iteration of the dish on the menu is a Heartbrand cut that weighs in at 14 oz and costs $48." - Courtney E. Smith, Amy McCarthy

We had a lovely dinner date here, and I must say we really enjoyed ourselves! While it did take a little while for someone to bring us our water glasses, once we did receive service, everything was excellent. The appetizers were delicious, and the drinks were equally impressive. The ambiance of the restaurant is unique—it's an open space, which gives it a lively atmosphere, though it can get a bit noisy at times. Overall, despite the brief wait, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely return.

I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! The staff was amazing. The food was absolutely to die for. The overall ambience was superb. They were great about my mother’s birthday celebration. Thank you for making it so special. I would come back here a million times over. Our serve Rodrigo was one of the best wait staff ever and he made the experience that much better. All the way down to the Female manager who saw us taking pictures and she came over to assist and was so kind and friendly. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience and thank you for making it so special!

I had an amazing dining experience at Steakyard Dallas! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The steaks were absolutely incredible—cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. We also tried the ceviche, which was fresh and zesty, a perfect start to the meal. The grilled corn and mac and cheese were the perfect sides, adding great texture and richness to the meal. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server, Rodrigo, was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The manager also came over to check on us, and you could tell they really care about the customer experience. Not only was the food top-notch, but the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality and portions we received. I can’t wait to come back for another round of amazing food and service! Highly recommend Steakyard Dallas!

Google
I loved this place so much . I been eyeing this place for a while but I had never tried it until today , and it was the best decision . As soon as I got to the restaurant there is a valet who is an old and nice men , then we got to the host who also were really kind and friendly. As soon as we got inside we got seated and our server came really quick as well . The food was delicious, the fries were well cooked and seasoned as well as the steak . We tried the coconut pie and it was delicious as well . I will 100000% recommend this place and I will 1000000% come back .

Carlos was the absolute sweetest server! This was our first time at Steakyard, and as usual, we were running a little late for our dinner reservation. We called ahead, and the hostess was incredibly kind and understanding. My husband ordered the Akaushi Ribeye, and I chose the Lobster Risotto—both were fantastic. For drinks, I had the Raspberry Lemon Drop, while my husband went for the Paper Plane. Both were delicious. Depending on your tolerance, one drink might be plenty—I certainly felt it! We’ll definitely make the trip back to Steakyard; the ambiance, service, and food made it a perfect date night.

Ladies!! If you’re looking for a girl dinner spot to take yourself out on a date with your book I highly recommend Steakyard. Sat at the bar and meet three other girls doing the same and it made for some good conversations about books and great steak and fry dinner. If you are wanting a table would recommend putting in a reservation it was very packed at dinner time. Fries did come out warmer than the steak so that and the tight space would be my complaints.

Google
The service was great! Staff is very friendly. It's a very casual setting for steaks. As for the food... has some issues with the temperature of the steaks. Also, the food was served room temp at best. For a place that us steak frites, the fries were not hot. Steaks definitely didn't feel like that just came off the grill. The fish dish wasn't hot either. Wasn't busy enough to have so many issues. Hopefully, they can fix the hit food issue.

Google
First time dining here and Steakyard was impressive. Great oyster appetizer, caesar salad, creamed spinach, garlic bread, and the steaks were delicious. Great service from Dave and Anna at the bar. Highly recommended and will be back again when in Dallas.

Yelp
Went for my birthday last night. They made me feel so special! Steak was cooked perfectly, the sides, the appetizers, everything was excellent! Oh, and the chocolate cheesecake and coconut chess were amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Katryna R.

Yelp
One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. The steak frites, the ceviche, and the coconut pie. Are you kidding me?! I didn't even know I liked coconut. And then there's an unexpected specialty drink ... a piña colada that topped it all off. But my favorite part was the graciousness and kindness of the staff. It's been a minute since I've been to a place where you are treated in such a warm way with such a professional & knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
If you're a steak lover, Steakyard is an absolute must visit. From start to finish, it's clear that this place is all about elevating the steakhouse experience. The modern, stylish ambiance sets the perfect tone, with sleek design and a vibrant atmosphere that feels both upscale and welcoming. The star of the show, of course, is the steak. The meat was absolute perfection- juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The char on the outside was just the right balance of crispy and smoky, while the inside was rich. The fries were perfectly crispy and just the right size. The sides here are also worth mentioning. The kale salad and cauliflower were amazing. The service was exceptional as well. Our server was attentive and offered great recommendations from both the food and drink menu. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our experience memorable, which made a huge difference. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself to an amazing meal, Steakyard hits all the right notes. The food, service, and the overall vibe make it one of the top spots for steak in Dallas. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Yelp
I took my girlfriend here for her bday after seeing it on instagram. I'll start with the positives about this place. We arrived at opening and the place was empty. The decor and vibe wasn't lively but you can easily tell that it would be a complete vibe on a packed night. It is very open and large windows letting in natural light during the day. One thing that attracted me to this place is the ability to print a custom picture in the foam of an espresso martini. There was a slight issue in the machine but the bartender went the extra mile in troubleshooting in order to make the drink special for my lady's bday. Our server was super polite, attentive, and you can tell just genuinely enjoyed his job. That was refreshing. All of that helps an establishment however the quality of food is where I think a restaurant cuts it teeth. I enjoy the wood fire method of steak preparation they do so I was excited to taste it. I order my steak medium however it came out well. I asked the waiter to take it back and he said man that is really well done and he apologized. The steak is not super thick so it's easy to overcook. My waiter brought it back to me and said as he took the steak over to the kitchen he seen it in different lighting and it wasn't cooked as well as it looked at our booth. He brought it back and asked if I would still like it remade and shined a flashlight and he was right. I wanted to chalk it up to poor lighting however I cut the steak into about 8 strips and approximately 3 of the 8 were medium and the rest very well done. I decided to keep it and eat it regardless. There wasn't a lot a char flavor which was a little disappointing to me in spite of the cooking method. I've read the star is the brandy sauce that comes with the steak. I'm not a sauce with my steak kind of person, I did dip my fries in the sauce to taste however and I personally was not a fan but I can see people enjoying it. The fries don't retain heat very long as they are thin cut but they are good if you eat them quickly. As far as the macaroni and cheese goes... just don't. That's all I'm going to say. All you taste is noodle. No cheese, no flavor, no business being on your bill or menu. Wasted calories. I'm not coming back

Yelp
Great food and service! My friend and I made dinner reservations here, were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and had great menu suggestions. We ordered family style and it was plentiful: -rainbow ceviche-omg, obsessed, it's so good! fresh, quality fish and the perfect amount of sauce and seasoning. -steak frites- so delicious, cooked perfectly -truffle cauliflower risotto- so good Everything was amazing, the wine list is excellent as well. Love the ambience. Perfect for dates night or a girls' dinner. I'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
My friends and I love going to Steakyard and sharing a bunch of plates. The food and service is always consistently good. My favorites are the steak, meatballs, and the vodka pasta. Then also the more newly added Mac and cheese is a must try. The cocktails are also always great; they add foam art or the bubble on top of some. My only complaint is that they used to cut your steak for you if you asked which made it easier to share and now they won't.

Anna Z.

Yelp
Great food! Atmosphere was amazing! The service started out great then fell short many times...waiting a very long time for items that are easy like a soda. We never got a salad we ordered and it ended up on our bill, along with never getting salt & pepper. Overall, I will still definitely go back but they may need more servers or more attentive ones. The steak frites were amazing -- I had the bistro tenderloin. We added mac & cheese, along with the salad we never got. The coconut chess pie was fabulous!

Bill Joe A.

Yelp
Oh....my.....gosh. These are briskets to die for. You HAVE to stop here and I've been to many BBQ places. This one top the list!

Catalina M.

Yelp
Loved it! Great food, service and ambiance! Let me start with the food: it's great! The steaks were cooked perfectly and include fries. Great quality without the price of a steak house. We also ordered a cauliflower risotto which was super tasty, as well as a burrata to start. We were full but had to try dessert since everything was so good :-). Service was fantastic. The waiter was super helpful and nice but also was anyone else we spoke to. Even when I got up to go to the restroom somebody helped me find it without me asking. It's a great steak house with a different vibe. The place is super open, high ceilings and chill vibe. I feel you can dress up or go I casual and you will be fine either way.

Yelp
Steakyard is perfect for a date night, large groups, a group of friends and even solo dining. It was easy to find parking on a Monday night and I was seated quickly. The chargrilled oysters were good. As someone who has had a lot chargrilled oysters, I'd prefer them to have a bit more flavor whether it's more salt, garlic, parmesan, butter or all three. The steak cut was good, a well marbled ribeye. It was cooked to the perfect temperature for me. The steak could also use a little more flavor as well. Overall, I would love to return and try more of the menu.

Yelp
At Steakyard in Dallas, the picanha, creamed spinach, and mac and cheese are standout dishes that showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. Picanha: This Brazilian-style cut is expertly prepared, offering a tender and juicy experience with a rich, beefy flavor. The meat is cooked to perfection, highlighting its natural taste and texture. Creamed Spinach: This side dish is a delightful blend of fresh spinach and a creamy sauce, resulting in a smooth and flavorful accompaniment that pairs well with the picanha. Mac and Cheese: A classic comfort food, Steakyard's version features perfectly cooked pasta enveloped in a rich, cheesy sauce, providing a satisfying and indulgent side. The combination of these dishes offers a well-rounded meal that balances robust flavors with comforting sides, making Steakyard a noteworthy destination for steak enthusiasts Superb service from staff. Checks back frequently if you need anything. Perfect ambiance to celebrate birthday with complimentary desert for the celebrant.

Yelp
My husband surprised me tonight with reservations to a steakhouse that I'd been wanting to try Steakyard to celebrate my new job!! The Steakyard was as beautiful as I could have imagined without being fussy or too overly formal. The food was delicious, starting with the Kobe meatball appetizer with grilled sourdough bread and the apple cider whiskey sour was the perfect cocktail to kick off the celebratory evening. The staff were top tier but the real star of the evening was the steak frites with a perfectly medium picanha and the truffle, cauliflower risotto. The pepper sauce served with the steak was perfectly rich and savory without being too heavy for the dish but the fries were not hot and fresh so that was a little disappointing.

Gracie L.

Yelp
Walking into a soothing lit atmosphere was very relaxing and calming. I started out with the Expresso Martini, which was perfect. The appetizer we shared at the table was the Burrata salad. Let me tell you!!!!The cheese was so smooth and to die for! This plate was put together so well that every bite was so scrumptious! Next appetizer were the meatballs. Very flavorful. I had the salmon on cauliflower risotto . Very creamy and salmon cooked perfectly. Hubby had the aged prime rib steak. Nice and juicy. Very romantic yet couple friendly place to visit.

Yelp
My bestfriend and I had dinner here on New Years. The food was was delicious and the service matched. We arrived for our reservation and were promptly seated. We ordered the raspberry lemon drop drink and it was tasty with a nice kick. You could taste and feel the liquor after, but not in a bad way. The tenderloin steak was cooked medium well and was juicy, flavorful and delicious. The peppercorn sauce was the perfect sauce to bring the flavor out, and the fries were crispy and tasty as well. We enjoyed the garlic bread too. The chocolate mousse cheesecake was sooo good. It was moist, melt in your mouth delicious. The ambiance inside was upscale, cozy and warm. The staff was accommodating and very kind. My experience was great and I would dine here again. I definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Stealyard is a great place for a simple date night or dinner! Their menu is very straightforward, mostly known for the steak frittes and peppercorn sauce. The dinner started off a bit rough with service cause there was a mix up apparently. It took about 10 minutes before someone noticed we weren't attended too but they promptly fixed it and were attentive for the rest of our dinner. The tenderloin bistro came out dry looking but it was still very juicy and cooked to a nice medium rare. The prime coulotte was much better looking but they cooked it to a medium unfortunately. Fries were very yummy and plentiful. That peppercorn sauce is a MUST to make the dish. Without, the steak is bland. We were comped for the chimichurri and garlic aioli which was very kind of them. I really liked the aioli with the fries and the chimichurri had a nice kick of spice to it. I never get mac n cheese anywhere but we decided to splurge a bit and it was soooo good. I highly recommend getting this as one of your sides to share! The drinks we had were great too! I really liked the taste of the martini and the margarita was very very frozen. At least now I have a place to go to when I'm specifically wanting steak and fries. We were so full by the end of the meal

Yelp
This is a very good steak steakhouse near our house. We decided to try it because of the ratings on Yelp. It is definitely starting to draw more of a crowd, so I would suggest a reservation. We were greeted quickly and seated at a table in their main dining room. Our waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions. They have a great cocktail list, and the food menu is reasonably sized but not huge. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and very tender. We also ordered the burrata salad which was delicious. The Caesar salad is also worth a try. A very nice place to eat, we will be back.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant! Loved the service and how you can see your food being made by the fire. The steak was made to perfection and I loved the peppercorn sauce that came with it and love the chimichurri sauce that my server let me taste even more! The seared tuna was very good as well as an appetizer. I'm addicted!

Julie A.

Yelp
We walked into a basically empty restaurant and we were asked if we had a reservation. Made me giggle. There were two other parties dining. The restaurant did pick up after we were seated. Dom was our server. Very nice young man who is knowledgeable about the menu. The servers wear jeans and nice shirts. It feels like it wants to be an upscale steakhouse but that it is not. The only appetizer we ordered was a Caesar salad. It was delicious. We also ordered a beer, two glasses of wine and a raspberry lemon drop beautifully presented. I only remember seeing three steak options on the menu. Three of us at the table got the steak frites with peppercorn sauce that was kind of spicy. The steak was good, not the best I've ever tasted. The fries were disappointing. They're thin cut but felt like a beer battered fry. There was some kind of coating on them. One person ordered the pork chop. It was a GIANT portion. Almost shareable. My husband enjoyed it. The table shared pecan pie and a coconut chess pie. Both delicious! We were also surprised with a chocolate mousse pie for a birthday. It's presented with a sparkler. Very impressive. Would I eat there again? Sure. But it's not a special occasion kind of place. Don't go expecting a high end steakhouse.

Jessica M.

Yelp
There are a lot of things I love about Steakyard. The casual environment and dress code is great because sometimes you want a steak but you don't want to have to dress up for it. The prices are reasonable considering how upscale the menu is. And finally, the service is awesome. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by the food. The Caesar salad ($13) had a bitter taste, I couldn't tell if it was the lettuce or the dressing itself. Would not order again. The cauliflower risotto ($7), despite numerous rave reviews, just tasted like cauliflower rice. No creaminess and no real flavor. And finally, the steak didn't have much flavor. I got the ribeye ($48), medium rare. I think Steakyard relies on their brandy sauce a little too much as the actual steak didn't taste seasoned at all. The brandy sauce was pretty good, but I wish they didn't serve the steak with the sauce already on it. In my opinion a good steak doesn't need sauce. Unfortunately this steak was pretty disappointing without it. On the flip side I found the fries/frites to be quite delicious. I paid $78 for one person, not including tip. Because the prices are pretty reasonable I'd come back and try other items on the menu because I don't want to write off the whole restaurant. However, I was really disappointed that this steakhouse didn't have a knockout steak.

Agatha E.

Yelp
I say this about almost every place I go, but I really loved this place. Man, it's just so good. I celebrated my two different birthday's here (one was my own) & they never fail to make us feel special. First of all, the menu is easy, not a billion things on it & it's not confusing. Second, the food is incredible. Truly, it is. I'm sorry I don't have pictures of everything but I have tried the Burrata (stopped my waiter from taking the plate because I wanted to scrape the plate clean) it was incredible. So fresh. The little gem caesar salad was very good too. None of that olive garden crap you get at other places lol. And of course. The one I actually took a picture of, the tenderloin bistro steak. served with fries but best paired with the truffle cauliflower risotto. IT IS INCREDIBLE. PLEASE TRY IT. I have to have it every time. My mom tried the crab stuffed branzino & said it was incredible. & my boyfriend loved the ribeye. The vibes are always impeccable. I love this place. It's just very clean, modern, & the food is incredible. Service is always so nice too. Everyone is great & super attentive. Makes you feel like the only ones at the restaurant, which, if you love this place like I do, you'll stay past close... SORRY!

Adriana C.

Yelp
Absolutely, yes! Yes to every single thing about this place. First, the vibes inside are so cute. I love the aesthetic and decor. The restrooms were also very clean and nice. To start, they gave us a free glass of Prosecco for our anniversary. For our appetizer we got the meatballs which were amazing. 10/10 Our entrees, we each got a different steak cut, but both were very good and cooked to perfection. The sauce they put on top is soooooo good. We also got a side of Mac and cheese which was delicious. For the price of the meal it is sooooo good. I would stop by again for sure. Our server was great. Check them out

Melissa G.

Yelp
I've been excited to try this place because I keep hearing great things about their reasonably priced steaks. For $48 you get a beautiful large ribeye which was quite good. My husband had that and I snuck a piece. I had the seafood ceviche with sushi grade salmon and tuna in a yummy ponzu sauce with radishes and microgreens for $23. It was quite tasty and surprisingly filling. I would get it again. He ordered the brûlée creamed corn, which was delicious. Honestly, the atmosphere and service was the quality you would get at a higher end place, so it was wonderful the prices were so reasonable. Very attentive service from everyone involved. I liked the upscale but relaxed atmosphere, which was not stuffy at all. The maple old fashioned got rave reviews from my Canadian husband. I will be back!

Ashly H.

Yelp
Wanted to try this out since it had such good reviews! We started with a caesar salad and the shrimp cocktail and they were both nice and fresh. The Tabasco cocktail sauce was delicious! We didn't have reservations so for it being a Saturday night we were super lucky to get a seat at the bar! Bartenders were great even though they were SLAMMED. They have the ripples drink printer machine so you can get cute things printed into your drink! For the meal we had the picanha steak with fries and it wasn't so great in my honest opinion. Chewy and dry and slightly overcooked as we asked for medium. The fries were my favorite part of the meal. All in all we will return and try one of the other steaks. I think this place gets its best reviews because of the ambiance and decor. LOVED the interior! For dessert I wanted the macaroon ice cream sandwich but they were out of the cereal milk ice cream :( so I settled for the chocolate mousse cheesecake and it was ok. Hubby had the pecan pie and it was pretty good. I recommend this place but make reservations!

Ricky C.

Yelp
Probably the most tender steak I've ever had! The peppercorn sauce paired perfectly and the steak was cooked to perfection. We also had the ceviche which was fresh and spicy, just the way I like it. For drinks, we enjoyed both the raspberry lemon drop (very yummy and they add a bubble on top tableside) and the espresso martini. We really enjoyed the entire dinner. If I had to say anything negative it would be it was a little too bright in the dining room but it didn't impact my overall experience. Will be back for sure!

Adrienne W.

Yelp
I had seen a few reels about steakyard and decided to take my husband for his birthday. When you pull up there is a big sign and the building looks basic. The inside is not basic at all. Really nicely decorated and glass windows with natural light. We got there a little early but they sat us anyway which was nice. Our waiter was so nice and had great conversation asking us if we're celebrating anything. We let him know our anniversary was coming up soon. Stick a pin there. Everything we had was delicious. The meatballs were really good and the risotto I had was chefs kiss. At the end they gave us each a glass of champagne since our anniversary was coming up. If you want to celebrate or just enjoy some good food this is the place.

Salman Z.

Yelp
Carlos, our server was the star of the show. He was extremely kind and radiated light. The kitchen was also extremely efficient. Our apps, entrees and dessert came out speedily. We ordered the following: - ceviche: this was different than what a traditional take on it would've been and our server prefaced that. My wife really enjoyed it. - TENDERLOIN BISTRO STEAK, - CERTIFIED AKAUSHI RIBEYE: wife ordered the former and I ordered the latter. Both of these came with fries. The fries were absolutely delicious. They were perfectly crispy, yet not overly so because they still had enough potato in them. The steaks were good as well. The sauce was a tad overpowering though. - CORN CRÈME BRULEE: wife and I both thought this was just alright. A little too sweet and a tad overdone for our liking. - PECAN CHESS PIE: delicious. Not too sweet and we loved that. Price: $126. The AKAUSHI was $48 and the TENDERLOIN BISTRO STEAK was $28. The price was extremely reasonable for what we got. On par with what we'd get at fancier restaurant. The fries alone were better than some I've had at higher end restaurants. Would like to go again and try the burrata and French crème brûlée.

JD M.

Yelp
New spot for steak. Very hipster vibe. They made us feel out of place immediately by asking if I had a reservation. It was 6pm on a weekday and the place was virtually empty. So they seated us at a table next to the kitchen entry. Classy move! (sarcasm) The server was much nicer. No pretense whatsoever. He answered all our questions in a way that assured me he knew what he was talking about. That's something that is missing most places I go. I had an old fashioned and she had a glass of wine. Both were excellent. I had a steak and fries, she had salmon with asparagus and we had a side of creamed spinach. All of it was delicious. I felt the price for such quality was very reasonable. I will return, but hope the host is retrained.

Paula C.

Yelp
After work, I joined some friends at this spot and ordered the bistro steak and fries. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, but the pepper sauce it came with wasn't to my liking. It actually tasted better without any sauce. The Burrata appetizer and cream of spinach were just okay--nothing to write home about. While the service was wonderful and our waiter was attentive, the overall experience didn't leave much of an impression. I'm not in a hurry to come back.

May M.

Yelp
One of my favorites in Dallas! This place brings so much joy with such delicious food, great cocktails and a wonderful ambiance. We always come here for girls night and decided to celebrate my birthday here. The staff brought out sparklers on my dessert! We love coming here :)

Ed L.

Yelp
Steakyard was amazing - great quality at fantastic prices! First off, the whiskey selection is mind-blowing. I had a 2oz pour of EH Taylor Single Barrel for $12 (and they have Stagg for $20!). The wife really enjoyed the red blend she ordered (and they have Bonanza Cab - a low priced Caymus wine that is very good). IYKYK. The rainbow ceviche is delicious - lots of radish, jalapeños and avocados to go with salmon, tuna and shrimp. Love that it wasn't too acidic - more of a tiradito than a ceviche... The steak frites is such a good deal for $28. It comes w a 9oz filet, well prepared fries and a brandy peppercorn sauce that complements the steak very well. Ana served us and she did a great job. We loved our visit and look forward to coming back next time we're in North Dallas!

Jeffrey R.

Yelp
Steak and other mains are great, as well as the appetizers. A must visit when entertaining out of town visitors.

Tessa G.

Yelp
I ordered the Tenderloin Bistro Steak Frites and it was cooked perfectly. The steak had a nice sear on the outside and was quite tender. I assumed steak frites were pre sliced or cut but that could be my own misconception. The sauce was great as well, a little too peppery for me but it was a peppercorn sauce so that makes sense. The fries were amazing! I love matchstick fries this size! I was a little worried about the fries beforehand since there were various pictures on Yelp with different sized fries. They could have used a little more seasoning or have been accompanied by an aioli. I also got the pecan pie which was perfectly warm and sweet. I sat at the bar and the service was great! The bartender was very attentive! The vibe of the restaurant was a comfortable upscale experience! This is a perfect date night spot! My only complaint is the parking situation and orientation of the building is a little odd.

Lexi H.

Yelp
We went to celebrate a friend's birthday in a Friday night and really enjoyed the ambiance. We got the burrata (not pictured) and Caesar salad - both were amazing! For meals, most of us got a steak of some sort, we got the Picanha and the Salmon. The Picanha I got medium and it was closer to well in my opinion, next time I'd probably get it as is. The salmon was great! Asparagus wasn't the best and the truffle cauliflower risotto was good under the salmon. Although someone at the table ordered the side of the risotto and it was ALL truffle. I wouldn't recommend. The fries were skinny with the steak and weren't super warm, but otherwise tasted good. My boyfriend got the dirty martini with blue cheese olives and I got the mule - both good! They also came and sang happy birthday for our friends celebration. Overall service was good and we'd come back, just order differently!

Dom J.

Yelp
Steakyard was a great experience! Easy to park, easy to be sat and all the food was amazing. Got a steak, seasoned very well and cooked to perfection, and the fries were good as well. I was a HUGE fan of the peppercorn sauce I had to ask for some to go. Also, the Mac and cheese was delightful. The server was very attentive and the food came out pretty fast. The lemon drop I got was strong and very good. The inside is very spacious and has beautiful art inside. Even has a small bar area. A reservation was made but wasn't needed. Need to see if they have a happy hour. Check them out for sure!

Sammy J.

Yelp
The food was good, the steak was a lil undercooked but I'll eat it yk, I like me a little red in that jiggly jawn. Tastes good. The actually good and fantastic part of this place is the fries. I'd eat it if it was my last meal. Inside looked good, reminded me of a deluccas vibe. Over all 8/10 buttcheeks

Yelp
I'm giving 4 stars based on value for pricing and ambiance. I had the Bistro Steak with frittes, sort of. I was clear that my GF wasn't a "Trendy" need but a medical one. I do not spend an hour harping on my celiac, simply say it and move on. We were going to have the Meatball appetizer with sourdough on the side, but Carlos verified there are bread crumbs in the meatballs, so skipped. I then ordered the steak frittes as it does not say the fries are breaded. Carlos did suggest asparagus instead and it was wonderful. The steak, ordered rare, was tough. Waiter noticed me Sawing through and tried to exchange for me, but I didn't want a pissed chef so decided to keep it. The peppercorn sauce was delicious! I'd eat that with spoon, next time I'll order my steak extra rare. Excellent pricing on the steak. Hubs however ordered the Lobster and Shrimp risotto-not risotto at all. It is pasta. That is not okay in any world. There was no lobster and the sauce was bland with 3 shrimp. As one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, sorely disappointed. Dessert was mistakingly described as Mouse cake but it was yummy cheesecake and it was GF.

Yelp
I recently came back and it was an even better experience! You gotta start with the rainbow ceviche and end with a slice of pecan pie. SO FREAKING DELICIOUS

Yelp
Visited Steakyard shortly after they first opened back in January 2024. The owner founded Delucca Pizza which we love & love the unique spin of Brazilian style pizza so we had to go try out her new concept. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the visit. We ordered the steak frites, both the ribeye and the tenderloin cuts. We thought we'd like the more expensive cut (ribeye) but we ended up liking the tenderloin more! Probably because it's more of a typical steak frites. We also ordered the Corn Crème Brûlée (not pictured) which was good, but a little underwhelming. We ended with the Pecan Chess Pie which was good, not great. We haven't been back but it would definitely be worth another visit to try more on the menu!

Yelp
A one of a kind experience! Came all the way from Orlando for a work trip and we saw this place on Tik tok and it did not disappoint. We decided to dress up and take as many pictures as possible because ever the bathroom had an aesthetic wall with a neon sign that made the perfect backdrop! Definitely recommend not eating prior to enjoy all the food here. We started off with drinks that had a bubble I forgot the name but they light it up and blows it was delicious and fruity! We both got lemon drops on the photo and it was a huge shot!! We then started off with an appetizer that was a salad and then the entree I decided to enjoy the best Texas had to offer which was a Texas ribeye and man it was one of the best steaks I've had!

Yelp
Always have wondered when this structure was going to be. Well it's a great restaurant! From the start! I called to check on the dress code and I was impressed with the smooth voice that said "it's casual. I just want you to enjoy your evening". Made that reservation. 15 minutes later walk in and Wow very impressive interior and nice exterior patio. We were greeted by the hostess and then the gentleman with the awesome handlebar mustache that answered my phone call! We were seated promptly. The restaurant has a high ceiling, but it's not noisy which is nice. Our server Brainly was friendly, attentive and made sure my food allergies were noted. We split the shrimp cocktail. I thought only 4 shrimp. Well two jumbo shrimp later I was glad there were only 4. They were good and fresh and done right. I ordered the salmon nicely done it comes medium I believe so the center is slightly cooked. My wife had the vodka sauce pasta. Again the portion size is deceiving. She loved it. The fresh sourdough bread was good and the espresso. The chocolate mouse cheesecake I am told was excellent. My wife ate it all so no sharing! Great place for a nice casual dinner. Wear more that flip flops and your favorite sweaty concert tee shirt. But well worth it. And the. Prices we very fair for want we go. Thanks for a great evening

Yelp
Started the night off with complimentary valet which was so nice considering the cold weather. Once we got inside, we enjoyed the ambiance lighting and a crowded restaurant. Which are normally really good signs in my book. Thanks to TikTok we knew we had to order some cocktails, and while my companions went with the raspberry lemon drop, which was deliciously strong. I decided to go with something that sounded more like what I wanted, which was an apple cider whiskey sour. And it felt like it was missing something like it wasn't too strong I could kind of taste the apple cider after tasting it a little bit more. This probably would've been a much better drink if we could've somehow made it hot. Regardless, though I still enjoyed it. And everything else the table was exquisite. The meatballs were amazing, the steak was banging. But the Mac and cheese felt too plain, like it needed seasoning or something to really bring out the flavor. Overall, I was very satisfied with what I got and will definitely be coming back to enjoy more steak or to try another item on their menu.

Yelp
Ambiance was nice. Large restaurant, not many people inside. Quiet enough to have a nice conversation. The food was good, although give had better steaks. The Mac & cheese had little seasoning, but was very creamy which I enjoyed. The meatballs, I was a bit weary of because of the pork in them. When I but it, the inside was a light pink, but cooked well, warm, again just needed some seasoning or aromatics. And most importantly, the drinks were strong! Service was great, our waitress was so kind. Would I visit again? No, simply because I can get this anywhere, and I'd rather eat at a local restaurant for what I paid.

Yelp
I'm going to lean closer to 2.5 stars as opposed to 2 stars for Steakyard. I'll begin with the con first. The most important part of the experience, the food, wasn't the best. I ordered a steak to be cooked medium well, as well as a salmon entree. It was as if the temperatures of the entrees were reversed, because the steak was cooked overly well (not very flavorful and difficult to cut), and the salmon was undercooked (mushy in the middle of the salmon filet). The taste, temperature, and texture of the main entrees were not good. On a positive note, the drinks, service, appetizer, and dessert were all great actually. I'd recommend coming here for a happy hour or maybe a lunch date. Hopefully this was simply a one off experience for me, and whoever else comes here has a better experience with their food.

Yelp
Went here for dinner and was really happy with my meal. I had the ribeye, and it was cooked just right. Juicy, flavorful, and seasoned well. The garlic mashed potatoes on the side were a nice touch. The place has a laid-back feel, and the service was friendly but not over the top. I'd come back for another steak night.

Yelp
Went to The Steakyard with colleagues from work for the first time. First of all, shoutout to our server Zack, who provided our large group with amazing service. He was patient, helpful, and attentive. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the tartare and the ceviche! The steak was amazing with their signature peppercorn sauce, and the fries are exceptional. The chocolate mousse cheesecake was a fan favorite at our table. The vibe was classy and modern, cool but sophisticated. I will definitely come back when I am in town!

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Great and I mean great food and service. Steaks were perfect. The ceviche was one of the best things I had with its Asian flavors. The Burrata salad was creamy and fresh. The Caesar salad was crisp and well dressed. Would be back soon. They also had a good wine selection and lots of good whiskey on hand.
