Fancy Popsicle Chain Steel City Pops Closes Last Remaining Austin Shop - Eater Austin

"Steel City Pops, the Alabama-based frozen sweets chain, closed up its last remaining Austin location on the Drag last week. The 3001 Guadalupe Street shop had been Steel City’s first Austin location when it opened in September 2017. The company closed the Rock Rose location sometime earlier this summer too." - Nadia Chaudhury

This is a really cool place that I just learned about. Not only they have different taste of popsicles also you can customize it with adding stuff on it. It’s located at the corner of 30th and Guadalupe st. Make sure you won’t miss it.

The staff is very friendly, it's very clean inside, it's always cool inside on a hot day, there's a wide selection of flavors, drizzle flavors, chocolate dip flavors, its reasonably priced and delicious.

Never had anything like this. I'm from a small town that lacks artisanal foods. A real treat and the service was amazing. If you're looking for something different the Pineapple Jalapeno was epic. Be careful though it bites back!

The texture of ice cream is perfect with all the topping and sauce! I got buttermilk popsicle drenched in white chocolate sauce and dark chocolate topping

Loved it here! The girl that helped me was so sweet. They have so many options for a hot day, or a chilly day 😊 you can see that I enjoyed my pop. I got the triple chocolate fudge pop

I got the banana popsicle dipped in milk chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate. It was super good and pretty affordable for what it is. Definitely suggest

Can't get enough of this place. We have one here in Houston but I always visit this location when I'm in Austin. Love the coconut dipped in dark chocolate.

There is not much to say about this place! They sell pops, in many different flavors, and they are delicious. End of story!
