There was a band… and had a fun time with cousins Ryan, Justin, Angie and Kylie The crafted beer were nice. Forgot to take selfies with them because we had a very nice conversations. The place was very nice. Great food and ambiance. Clean toilets. Free car parks.

Google
Bao tacos were so delicious. Smog city beer was really good. If the parking lot is full they have more across the street.

Google
Great place, different food choices and Smog City brewery. We had the chicken and waffles along with the birria dip sandwich plus some fine beer. Fun outdoor atmosphere with picnic tables.

Google
The coffee is good. Gluten free option for food. The price is average coffee shop price. The atmosphere is similar to food court. Dogs are allowed. Street parking and a small parking lot.

Had a great meal at SteelCraft! The Barria ramen from La Taqueria Brand was amazing! The broth was flavorful and noodles were just right. Also had a Nutella and strawberry waffle from Waffle Love. They are made to order and warm and slightly crispy. The place had a great vibe with a live DJ. Only criticism is music was a little loud. But overall a great time!

I just enjoy SteelCraft Coffee. The workers here are all very nice. I don’t know all their names or else I would name them to give them individual shout outs. They have some of the best decaf coffee I’ve ever had. Enjoy all the pastries they offer too. Thank you for the delicious coffee and the wonderful customer service. It really does brighten my day when the baristas are super nice! Always stop here when I’m visiting Long Beach.

* please note this is an honest opinion coming from someone with a disability, thus forming my own personal opinion from my experience. * Steelcraft LBC is such a nice little neighborhood hangout with a good variety of food options and ample seating. If your lucky to find parking on property there are a few spaces available but also have a large lot across the way. For an able bodied person I'd say this place was an ideal spot to grab a beer, eat and conversations with friends , however for a disabled person like myself it may fall short for you. Being a person who spends most of her time between a wheelchair and a cane if going short distances it can honestly be a little upsetting when you find places that are ada but not fully wheelchair friendly. Unfortunately due to my specific needs finding a place to sit that's low top to accomodat my wheelchair wasn't an option since the layout uses picnic tables and has narrow spacing. I Unfortunately would not have had space to comfortably sit in my chair and enjoy my food with my partner but luckily I came prepared and switched to my cane since I'd hardly be walking. We did wait about 15mins for a picnic table to open up which wasn't an issue as we were in no rush but the limited seating for us with limited abilities may cause one not to linger. Despite the lack of wheelchair space for dining actually getting around was fairly easy. Steelcraft is very clean, well kept and had a great variety to choose from. This day we tried a little from everywhere and I was pleasantly surprised. Each place had excellent customer service, great tasting food and prepared well. They also had an info board to keep you up to date about fun activities that take place there as well. Tuesdays are trivia nights and live music on the weekend set the tone for an amazing week ahead. Despite my minor inconvenience with my accessibility concerns I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be back here as a regular. I visited on a Monday so it wasn't too busy crowd wise, just I did notice it looked like people unwind here and work which could also take up space for a prolonged time. But who wouldn't want this to be their go to spot. The atmosphere is amazing, it's not loud or rowdy and has a little something for everyone. Although my wheelchair didn't workout with the limited space I was still able to enjoy myself. The limited space may also come as an inconvenience to those parents with young ones in strollers as well so please be aware when it comes to finding a space to sit. Overall this is an amazing place that would have 5 stars if ada seating was an added option, but that won't stop me from visiting.

Google
Lots of different foods to choose from and plenty of seating. All outdoor seating, interior courtyard covered, side patio more open. Pizza very good and wood fired. Communal seating. You can pick up coffee and ice cream after for a one stop lunch or dinner.

Yelp
Such a vibe for sure. Came here with my husband for lunch and the concept of this place is def cool. Lots of containers with different vendors and you can pick and choose what you want to eat and there is something for everybody. They have a brewery onsite and the other vendors sell drinks too. I love the open space, the lights and just ambiance is pretty cool. They even have TV's with sports on so you. An easily catch a game here too. I ordered food from the Mexican vendors and my husband for a Pizza. Both were very delicious. The pizza was great and love that they give it to you in the box already in case you don't finish it you can take it to go. My tacos were delicious, especially my fish taco was the best one for sure. The presentation was great and they even tasted good as well. Their chips were a bit greasy for me but still good, their salsa was fantastic. They had other fun food options as well it's just what you are in the mood for. The spots we grabbed food the service was great, very efficient and hard working. Love the concept of the place and of you are looking to meet up with friends for a quick bite or hang on a Friday night this is the spot for sure.

Yelp
I came here literally just for Elio's wood fire pizza! I usually drive from OC all the way to LA for their food truck. It's always worth the drive but when I found out that they just opened a location in Long Beach, I knew I had to go. It was our first time at steel craft so I wasn't aware that there was going to be more food vendors. I loved how there was a variety of food choices and that there was a small brewery. I was able to grab a beer and have it with my pizza which was great! Now let's get to the pizza. 10/10!!!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! If you haven't tried Elio's yet now is the time! We got a margherita pizza with pepperoni and a white pizza with sausage. The dough itself is so light and you can taste the fire from their wood fired oven. Worth the drive! I've gone to so many pizza spots and hands down Elio's is up in my top 5.

Yelp
Great location. It was a little trek from our hotel but definitely worth it. Great food spots, located within the area. It has five different food options, including Mexican, Korean, two American options and a pizza spot. They have beer located at the main Steel Craft trailer. Decent amount of seating but could be slightly cleaner. Service is truly just from window service, from each of the food spots. They had face painting, when we showed up and moved on from that to a DJ. Noise was a normal level, for an open aired location, near a main street in Long Beach, as well as with the music and eating around others. Food was great from the three spots we ate at. Everyone from the three spots were very kind and helpful with menu options. Again, it was a great location, good beers, great food with great company. Pictures went to their respected restaurants I checked in at.

Yelp
The birria tacos were amazing! Juicy, fresh, consome- delicious. The service was quick, the location was not too crowded- they have their own parking lot plus an additional lot. Outdoor location- pet and family friendly.

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. There is a variety of food options to choose from. I got a burger and fries, both of which were pretty good. Some friends got Mexican food and enjoyed it. There's a great variety of beers to choose from as well, all the ones I tried were delicious! I'm a big fan of the outdoor seating for fresh air. Also, a big plus was the clean bathroom!

Yelp
I come to SteelCraft every year or two and I appreciate how they offer a unique take on dining. They have a few different food options, coffee, and Smog city has taps if you want a refreshing beer. Parking can be found in the lot or in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Visited Steelcraft Long Beach recently on a drizzly Saturday. Picked up lunch at I Love Ur Buns and had their special of the month, which was two Chinese buns filled with smoked brisket by the Cambodian Cowboy! If you've never heard of him, he is making a name for himself as a BBQ pit master. The buns were fresh and pillowy soft filled with the tasty brisket. I ordered the meal which came with a drink and hot, crispy fries. I would go back and try some of the other buns. If buns aren't your thing, there's a taco stand and a soon to be opened pizzeria. A smoothie and protein bowl establishment is also in the complex. They also offer coffee drinks. Outdoor picnic table seating is plentiful.

Yelp
Parking can be an issue at times, the lot is small. There is street parking and also additional parking across the street. It's a bit small, the employees keep the place clean. There is a good variety of foods

Yelp
This original location of SteelCraft food court opened in Long Beach in 2017. It has since expanded to nearby Bellflower and Garden Grove. It was my first time here, so my wife explained how things worked. Parking can always be a problem in Long Beach, but it seemed as if it was well thought out...with multiple well marked lots to park for free, and even neighboring businesses allowing their spots to be used after their business hours. It consists of six, soon-to-be 7 food vendors (Asian, Pizza, burgers, beer, Mexican, coffee, and acai) and there is no overlap of cuisines between vendors. Everybody shares communal bench seating tables (though when we came it wasn't too busy so got a table to ourselves). We stopped in for lunch on a Friday, and it's a typical food court set-up, where you choose the vendor and order/pay with them. There is a shared water dispenser, so you can fill up if you have your own water container. Otherwise all other food and beverages are not allowed. There is one set of gender bathrooms for the complex (4-6 stalls in each). We are thinking about suggesting a group gathering of 40 people here, and the management has processes in place to handle such scenarios...so will work with them in the future. If it works out, will definitely come back to update my review.

Yelp
If you have a group of people and you're not sure where to eat you should take them here. There's vegan and GF options too. There's truly something for everyone from burgers, tacos, pizzas and bao buns! I got vegan birria tacos and they were stuffed and full of flavor. I've been here twice and the time it was a Saturday there was live music which was really nice. They also have tvs showing sports if you're into that. Definitely coming back in the future!

Yelp
The burgers at Hangry Belly were small and dry. The coffee was good tho. The person at the beer area was late because of the coffee. The overall service was OK. I like how the place is just a bunch shipping containers. DONT TRY THE SPICED HONEY ITS MEGA SPICY
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great location for a fun outdoor mini food court with a small selection of fantastic gourmet eateries and drinks. They are all independent vendors serving gourmet food in a fast-food style, so the service is fast, friendly and efficient. Such a fun place to hang out and grab a bite/drink. It's great for both groups and for solo diners. The space is an enclosed breezy outdoor space with nice shade for those really hot days. There's a small adjacent parking lot, street parking, as well as a large annex parking lot across the street.

Yelp
I visited the Long Beach location. It's a small brewery with great selections of food, drinks, dessert and coffee! I came here after walking with the girls on a Sunday and it was easy to find a spot and enjoy your brunch. I wasn't able to bring my dog this time but I saw so many fur kids and real kids with their parents. I can't wait to come back and bring my pup. I believe the food changes every few months. This time around I choose Mexican food. It's called la taqueria. I loved my chilaquiles and my minchi! The beer choice paired with my minchi was better than a typical modelo. My friend order the bierra Ramen. It was good but missing spice.

Yelp
Welcome to SteelCraft - An outdoor food court, food hub, drink hang, social co op space with several great business in the mix. They sometimes provide live entertainment in the central area, not to mention huge flat screens, perfect for catching a trending sporting event, shows and what not. Most of the seating areas are covered, but the entire SteelCraft area is open area and super easy to navigate around. Enjoy fresh Acai Bowls via Koolberry (directly in front when entering from Long Beach Blvd). Have a pick me up with Steelhead Coffee bar/cafe. Cheers with Craft Brew at Smog City Brewing - Bixby Knolls of Long Beach You can order pizza at Angelino's Wood Fire pizza (with aromatic options, including vegan) - though they definitely seem to be the busiest. Nom tacos, chilaquiles, burritos, plates and quesadillas not to mention a variety of so many other dishes (plant-based options y mas) at this slice of Mexican street style eats (one of three locations in SoCal). Eat + sip + chill at Hangry Belly (Burgers place) or feel the love from Waffle Love. Seven amazing vendors, popups and businesses all bringing an amazing experience in this beautiful shared space. There is WiFi, restrooms and it's pet/pup friendly. Seating can fill up during busier social times and hours after the work flow, especially Saturdays from what I've seen and heard. Angelino's was pizza town by 7 PM the other night. Open until 9pm during the week and until 10pm Friday and Saturday. Each vendor has select hours, definitely check their website for specifics - Steelhead Coffee for instance closes by 5 PM daily, but also opens as early as 6 or 7 AM depending on the day. Definitely hope to see more great SteelCraft locations in Los Angeles and Socal... like can you come to the valley tomorrow lol... Would love to have something like this in NoHo and other parts of Southern California. Check out their Garden Grove and/or Belflower spots as well. Parking is super easy and spacious at the SteelCraft of the LBC. Noticed some vendors have rotated out or relocated after a long period of time, so definitely enjoy a little of it all and support this small businesses as well as this amazing women owned and thriving concept that is SteelCraft.

Yelp
Great place with coffee, tacos and bao!!! There are very many options to choose from which is great. Parking in the back and lots of seating.

Yelp
I was excited to come here because there's one in bellflower and we always have a nice time there - not to mention this place had different options. Unfortunately its quite small (but well lit and warm!) and have limited bathrooms. Another reason why i do not absolutely love this place is the LOUD DJ. I get it - its a hip happenin place and im old now. Im not into loud these days. We sat at the farthest area to escape the worst of the noise and it was still too loud. But i know the community likes it! Just not my speed anymore. Their food places are: hangry belly (need to come back and try!!), la taqueria brand (best birria!), waffle love, steelcraft beer, angeleno pizza, and coffee. I definitely wanna come back maybe in the afternoon so my ears arent assaulted hahaha

Yelp
Food: 8/10 Depends what you're craving from here, most of these places are great! But not all the food hits the mark. Definitely recommend Waffle Love, I don't even like waffles but their waffles are different in every way. Service: 8/10 Most places here have 10/10 service but the people they hire at Waffle Love seem to be teens that weren't raised right. Ambience: 10/10 This place is always well maintained, clean and plenty of outdoor dining for everyone!
google avatar

Brenda L.

Yelp
The good: This is a small outdoor food court dining hall that's trendy, modern and hip. I'm a sucker for food halls because you get to try a little bit of everything which makes it great as a gathering spot with various friends with different tastes. It's made of shipping containers and reminds me a lot of Denver's vibe. There are communal tables and some high chair bar seating. Food here includes waffles, pizza, Mexican, and more. It's dog and kid friendly. They're hosting an Oktoberfest next month too. The bad: There isn't enough seating usually. I only saw street and neighborhood parking. The interesting: I initially came twice to this area Yelp events. They host paint and alcohol days too.

Amanda O.

Yelp
Great location for a variety of food options! A lot of open seating with both outdoor and covered indoor seating options.

Yelp
Great vibe, helpful services, food, drinks with many options available for decisions!

Yelp
I love the food and the variety you get here. The first time I went was with a work event, and I made a point to come back on my next trip. My favorite is the Mexican booth and the birria ramen. I really enjoy the atmosphere and people bring their pets and it's really nice. I will be back again.
google avatar

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Happy the heaters were going strong to keep us comfortable. The server at Smog City was super helpful and friendly. Pizza and burgers were delicious and the piggy fries were amazing. Dj was spinning my kind of music too!

Yelp
Their in house kombucha was phenomenal! We also had an order of their jack fruit tacos, which were amazing...this place is now one of my favorite places to go to

Yelp
This spot has classic Long Beach vibes to me. It's small, laid-back, full of flavor and very diverse in terms of the patrons and food vendors. But, parking kind of sucks on the weekend. More on that below. The whole space is a cool, industrial-chic restaurant complex. You can easily spot the fire-engine red shipping container and signs from the street. Aside from the collection of vendors listed below, they also keep things fun and cute by having a rotation of DJs on the weekend, lawn games and a big screen TV to watch sports. It's a great option for a chill Sunday brunch when your homies can't get on the same page on what to eat! Parking is not plentiful, but you do have a few options. There is a small lot adjacent to the complex. Immediately across the street is a larger overflow lot, all of which are free. Then there is metered parking nearby. Here are the vendors as of Aug 2022: * STEELHEAD COFFEE - Freshly brewed artisan coffee that's part of the inspiration for this concept. * HANGRY BELLY - Delicious sandwiches and burgers for the unashamed carnivores. I tried their BokBok grilled chicken sandwich, and it was phenomenal. Worth every penny. * LA TAQUERIA BRAND - A Mexican taqueria appt that offers authentic family recipes made with a mix of classic ingredients and trending new favorites. * SMOG CITY BREWING - From Torrance, CA the family-run craft brewery is focused entirely on creating and distributing exceptional beers. * WAFFLE LOVE - Most popularly known from Season 6 of Food Network's Great Food Truck Race, Waffle Love offers a twist on the traditional Belgian liege waffle with a variety of sweet and savory flavors and toppings. * TERRASAGE HOME - A local favorite for plants, pots and gifts. * ANGELENOS' PIZZA - Killer artisan pizzas made using homemade sauces and fresh quality ingredients. KOOLBERRY - Fresh bowls made with ingredients including acai, pitaya, coconut, seasonal fruit, nuts and more. They also serve desserts including "Freak Shakes" and handmade treats.

Yelp
Fun cluster of small food outlets, a coffee shop and a brewpub, with outdoor picnic bench seating. DJ late afternoons/evening. We had pizza, coffee and beer but there's also tacos, desserts, and more. A fun experience!

Yelp
The SteelCraft is an outdoor urban eatery built with repurposed shipping containers. The Long Beach place first opened in February 2017 and became a staple within the Bixby Knolls neighborhood, and now it expands into new locations in Bellflower and Garden Grove. It is the place for coffee, beer, wine, craft food and dessert, and it has the large dog friendly outdoor dining area, and its quipped with heaters, also plenty parking spots next to the establishment.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is always great here I love it I also love how it's open and outdoors it makes the ambience very pleasant.

Yelp
Tucked in between office buildings on Long Beach Blvd. are these containers of yummy restaurants & one beer bar. We tried the pizza & waffles. Pizza made to order. Chewy fire burnt thin crust with fresh ingredients. We try a sweet waffle that was kinda like a waffle Cinnabon. The service was super nice and the waffle made to perfection. Crunchy on the outside and I don't know soft on the inside. Can't wait to come back and try the other restaurants.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the concept of this place. A few selections of good food and drinks with live music and outdoor seating makes it such a great place to get together with friends. It's a good place for smaller to medium groups, but if you have a large group, I would look into RSVPing some tables. There are several vendors with food options like pizza, tacos, and chicken sandwiches, to name a few. This place is dog and kid-friendly, so you'll see a lot of families around. They share a parking lot with other businesses but they don't usually operate on weekend nights. Overall, would recommend this place on days that aren't too hot (can't imagine myself enjoying some beer at this place if it's over 90 degrees).
google avatar

Valerie B.

Yelp
First time here at this location. It's a bit smaller than the others. But it's good enough for a busy area. Parking is a little tight but u can park in overflow spaces across the street or parking on the street. Came here for the Waffle Love spot. I'm gonna check out the others over time. They had a summer schedule of events posted. Like today was paint and sip. There was a dj spinning really good music of different decades. That's nice to hear. Buy all in all, it's a good spot.

Yelp
The beer is always great. I had "with love from l.a." Delicious! Everything was opened at 9 pm and still serving food. That's rare in long beach. There was pizza, tacos, hamburgers, waffles, and Ramen noodles, so the was a nice selection to choose from. I just had the quesadilla because I just stopped by for a beer and to listen to the band. Nice evening.

Andrew B.

Yelp
Great coffee (some of the better selections I've seen in Long Beach). Great Pastries. Great people.

Yelp
Great casual place with a lot of food options! Nice place to enjoy with family & friends and your doggie!

Mr. C.

Yelp
I've been coming here for the last 6 weeks, I've got to say the food and the beers have been bringing me back. But the ambience has been 1. making me leave and 2. now keeping me away. The amount of times over the last few weekends that children have been treating this place like a playground as grown exponentially. I've talked to other customers and a few regulars here since I've been coming and the staff at Steelcraft have done nothing to improve. I understand this is a family friendly place, but this place could use some authority, or at least someone to keep this place in check. Maybe I'll come back in a few months when things change. 5 stars for the staff and businesses 1 for the establishment
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
Cool area with multiple restaurants, a brewery and a coffee place. Lots of covered, outdoor seating and ample parking behind and across the street.
google avatar

Yelp
Came by today on a whim... Waffle Love did NOT disappoint! My husband had the chicken and waffle... I had the Sunshine with Strawberries (cuz they were out of raspberries) and it was AMAZING! I got a side of bacon that was slightly overpriced for 2 slices, but whatever. I'd come back just for this.
google avatar

Arlene R.

Yelp
I ended up getting birria tacos and they were so delicious and juicy. There are other options as well such as pizza, burgers, beer and of course tacos. I really love the vibes, people are so chill and even better the music. I'm sure they play different genres but when I went it was 80's. It definitely set the vibe. The girl who took my order was very kind, customer service is great too.
google avatar

Abroad A.

Yelp
Any time there is a dog friendly spot I have to check it out! I love this concept of a few different food places all in one spot so a group can get whatever they are feeling! I've tried the birria ramen from la taqueria & We be jammin burger from hangry belly. Both were amazing! I also love to just go have a few beers at the bar. This place has the nicest staff. I was so impressed that I had my dogs 8th bday here so my friends and family could experience the fun vibe. Sometimes there is live music too! Me and my dogs approve!
google avatar

Christine D.

Yelp
The parking is cramped. The place is small. It's going to be packed on a Friday or Saturday night. If you come on an off day or early you can snag some parking and maybe drop off a passenger to tag team snagging a table and it'll be worth it. They have a good amount of vendors. Understandably the Steelhead Coffee and Koolberry açaí bowl place closes earlier. Smog City Brewing has beer. Then for food, we have Hangry Belly, Waffle Love, Là Taqueria Brand, and Angelenos Wood Fired Pizza. Burgers and fries, waffles, tacos. Lots of options to choose from.
google avatar

Aimee A.

Yelp
Finally made it to Steelcraft in Long Beach - on a slightly lazy Sunday afternoon, it was a great option. Got beers and comfort food - truffle fries and Chez Burger. Cool, chill vibe...easy ordering and pick up - Hangry Belly gave me a buzzer that signified order is ready. Smog City beers were quick and easy. They also had tacos, Waffle Love (next time), and pizza. TV screens around set to sports. Enjoy and support local businesses!
google avatar

Alice L.

Yelp
I came on a weeknight with a couple friends. There was plenty of parking, which is always good to note. I ordered a sour, which was delicious and I would definitely get again. The best part about Steelcraft is that there's so many different options for people who want different foods - there's something for everyone! Most of us were craving Mexican food, so we ordered from La Taqueria Brand. The carne asada fries were exactly what I needed -greasy, cheesy, delicious. The chicken quesadilla was also perfectly crisp on the outside with a gooey, cheesy and chicken-filled center. I will definitely be back to try some of the other offerings since it's such a nice place to hang out, but I'll probably wait for some warmer weather to do so!!
google avatar

Alan N.

Yelp
Super fun place to hang out with your friends or to bring your kids. Large beer selection. Burgers, tacos, pizza, waffles to choose from. This is a good spot to hang out on the weekend! Tip. Parking can be tough but there is a lot across the street if the lot next to the bar is full
google avatar

Yelp
TL;DR - chill environment, great place to gather and eat & drink. Grab a beer and get some pizza; you won't be disappointed! Though this is smallest of the Steelcrafts, it is the original. It's a nice neighborhood spot for lunch or dinner. Decent options for food and great spot for beer. The pizza here is hot, steamy, cheesey with a great chewy crust. They also have a vegan cheese that would satisfy even the biggest cheese lover! Parking lot is small, but there's a lot across the street for additional parking.

Yelp
The area is really nice. The food spots could be better and have more variety. Service is great overall. But the we enjoy the açaí bowls, taco spot and pizza spot.

Yelp
Came to Steel Craft and had Vegan pastor tacos at LA Taqueria brand. Which are my favorite vegan tacos. The food always exceeds expectations. There was live music, which was awesome to have while eating and having drinks. The service was excellent and friendly. The food didn't take long to get. Everything overall was amazing.

Yelp
This place is pretty awesome. To see so many pop ups all with great food but at the same kind of work together to give customers a full meal with variety of options to choose from. Bartender for bar was super friendly and helpful, definitely likes to converse and helps with making you feel welcomed as it sits at the entrance. As you dive deeper, plenty of communal seating and tables all around to choose from -- but beware it get pretty crowded as the lunch/dinner rush pours in. Their pizzas? So good! Their crust is crisp on the outside with hints of wood notes, yet soft & sweet inside; on the top it's oozing cheese, sauce and toppings that just kind of bind all the bites together. Fries? Well .. they're standard so not much to comment on. The downside, the food is super pricey to the point where you come here to focus on hanging out with friends in a comfortable outdoor seated area while ignoring the hole in the wallet that you're about to burn.

Yelp
Tonight was my first experience coming to the LB SteelCraft and I love it just as much as I do they Garden Grove one! I love the atmosphere, super chill, dog friendly, plentiful seating and even if you share a table, all is well! The vendors are amazing with variety of food option! I met up with my friend after work to have a beer and some pizza! We had a great time and will be back for sure!
