4 of us went here for my daughters birthday. I was excited because we scoped out the menu and reviews online. When we got there we realized menu items we saw were no longer available. That was fine, but the Arancini and the lasagna came out black. I don’t know if the oil was needing a change, or the cook was just over cooking things. Either way, that was disappointing. It tasted okay once you got past the blacked bread crumbs and pasta crust. Two people who ordered the salmon were also disappointed that it came with fried potatoes and not mashed potatoes as seen in the pictures online. The drinks were amazing, and so was the brie. I also loved the chicken with mushroom marsala. The tiramisu and cheesecake were delicious as well. Too bad I can’t say that we were impressed by everything, for the price I expected a little more care. 3 stars.

I visited Stefano Diner this past weekend after seeing recommendations from a vegan page I follow, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I would definitely recommend trying their Smashburger – it was a standout. We ended up ordering quite a few items off the menu (I wish I had taken pictures of everything!), but everything we tried was tasty. Overall, a really good experience, and I would absolutely come back again to try their dinner menu. Didn't know they've separate brunch and dinner menu. The time taken to place order could've been better but made up in post order service

First time at this establishment, we went for our anniversary. Right out the gate, the place is quaint and intimate. Erinn greeted us as soon as we walked in and was so welcoming. Shortly after we sat, we met our server Joel who was very personable. He was so pivotal in our food choices, this guy really knows what’s good! Also very patient and took the time to explain things. At the end they gave us a free tiramisu which was probably the best we’ve had. Overall, the staff was exceptional, I’m not used to having such a quality experience so it’s really refreshing to have it. Now, on to the food… just incredible! We had the mozzarella sticks to start along with the macaroni and cheese. The sticks were cool but not my favourite. The Mac and cheese was delicious, add some do their chili sauce on top to make it even better. Then we had the cold cuts sandwich, also a stellar option. The lasagna was probably the best item but it was close. Tiramisu was a smash too, like REALLY good. Honestly, food, environment and staff, 5 stars. Compliments to the chef! Highly recommend.

Excellent vegan dishes. Have Had the Tuscan white bean soup, "chicken" fillet, fried chicken sandwich, eggplant parmigiana, smash burger, tiramisu dessert. All delicious! Super friendly staff.

I hosted a private birthday party at the diner, and hands down, it was one of the best events I’ve organized. Joel and his team were incredibly attentive to every little detail. He worked closely with me to ensure the menu was perfect. He got back to me with any decor related questions speedily. On the day of the event, he helped ensure the set up was perfect, assisting us every step of the way. His team also packed up all the leftovers so our guests could also leave with some yummy doggy bags. I would recommend this venue and team highly for any private events you’re planning. You won’t be disappointed.

I recently got recommended to eat here and I can’t believe I haven’t heard of it sooner! An incredible dining experience, my partner and I have eaten here over 5 times in the past month. The first visit I enjoyed the Stefano’s veggie sandwich and had quickly become one of my favorites. A soft seeded bread, fresh veggies and vegan cheese is the perfect combination to keep you satisfied but not too full! Accompanied by the hefty French fries and vegan mayo was the perfect touch. Also, our waitress Nicole was welcoming, personable and quick! Our second visit wasn’t long after the first and we enjoyed a tasting of several different appetizers and mains. We had the mozzarella sticks to start and the Italian sub and rose pasta as mains (I forget the exact name). The mozzarella sticks are to die for, my boyfriend especially loved the marinara sauce that accompanied it. Both mains were fresh but we especially liked the pasta! Only complaint is we wished there was more ;) The main attraction of it all is the Tiramisu. Unlike anything I’ve ever had before. It’s filled with a delectable cream and generous bits of biscoff cookies. Omg. To. Die. For. We’ve also tried the crispy chicken sandwich and smash burger. Would say the smash burger is better than any beyond meat burger I’ve had. Filled with flavors and all the topping go perfectly. I’d recommend getting the double patty if you are sharing with someone else! The most recent new try is the Brie, the Brie was very yummy but we found the accompanying bread to be too hard (maybe that is how it is meant to be enjoyed), but personally would not order again. Vegan, vegetarian or not everyone needs to visit this diner. The interior is well decorated with comfortable seating, warm lighting and very friendly workers! Huge shout out to Joel who has made all of our visits a joyful experience! Everything is reasonably priced the only note id make is the stairs, not accessible for all. Will never stop coming here:)

INCREDIBLE FOOOD. I have found my new 'spot' to go any time I'm in the city. Stefano's lives up to its glowing reviews, and I bet anyone would leave here saying the same - vegan or not. Day (our server) was charming and friendly but also quick and profesional, he made great recommendations and MAN the chicken sandwich was so good. If you're plant based and want a good crispy chicken, uffff get over here
