We went here for lunch whilst on a weekend getaway. Everything was top notch. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming. Love the interior and the ambience of the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Super quality food. Lots of surprise little dishes in between. We ordered a main course, dessert, water and 1 bottle of wine and paid €45 pp. Great combination of taste, price and service. Quality was excellent. We would definitely go again. A real food experience. From 4 guests from the Netherlands. Thanks for the super experience.

Food that tries to impress like being sophisticated. Pretty much tasteless and just a reminder of that deconstructed food. Mille Feuille cake that made with two layers of puff pastry and inside whip cream. Children unfriendly particularly the lady that looks like the maître.

Food is excellent, very nice wine selection and friendly service. They lift up the typical Italian cuisine and bring some surprising dishes to the table.

While failing to hit all the right notes, this is a pleasant venue with refined, interesting and fairly creative cuisine. Starters (a beef "battuta" and a veal tongue) were really special and impressive. The ice-creams in each dish, artichoke with the beef and Tropea onion with the tongue, stood out. Mains were not bad but decidedly les special and more subdued, with a roe deer particularly tame. With a turbot, such a delicate fish, we were surprised to find assertive garnishes such as liquorice and spicy broccoli tips (cime di rapa) - good, but they took centre stage. The dessert list on this particular day failed to inspire us, so we opted to go to a specialist of the genre after lunch. Personnel is very kind. The room (vaulted and below ground) is atmospheric. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

Lives up to the promise of the reviews, was not disappointed. Look forward to going back!
