The 17 Best Restaurants Near Lake Chelan - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Despite being located in Washington’s most remote town—Stehekin is only accessible by boat or hike—the Stehekin Pastry Company is a must-visit if you’re staying near the lake. Since 1989, this family-owned bakery has served pastries, cakes, and pies from a quaint alpine cabin. Their cinnamon rolls are legendary, and yes, they alone are worth the two-and-a-half-hour ferry ride from downtown Chelan. A slice of sourdough pizza and a sticky bun taste particularly outstanding after a hike in the North Cascades." - carlo mantuano, emily burks

Super friendly folks, great handmade/baked goods. We tried a little bit of everything on the breakfast menu (quiche was better than the breakfast biscuit I had) and also some lunch items (loved the veggie wraps with peanut sauce and peanut chocolate cups to go). Coffee is the best in Stehekin, they do drip and espresso! About 1.7 miles one way from the landing. Not a bad walk, especially in the morning. Highly recommend visiting here and getting a cinnamon roll or sticky buns

Super cute place, everything looks good. I found the quiche very dry and the kubcha berry cream cheese bar was good but $15 for both was surprising. The girl with the dachshund t shirt was super cute 😉 and service was great. Nice spot to relax and enjoy a moment... just wouldn't have chose to spend a 1/3rd of my time there....

We love this bakery! We also stayed at the Stehekin Log Cabins and cannot recommend them enough. This was one of our favorite family trips. A car was included right when you get off the ferry, the cabin was impeccably clean, and the perfect size for our family of four. 10/10 recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great getaway with comfort and incredible food.

We ate here twice during our trip. The biscuits and gravy was great. The baked good were delicious. They have a few gluten free pastries and gluten free bread for sandwiches. The only negative is that they don't share the wifi password. Without cell service anywhere, it would have been nice to be able to check in family at home while grabbing a bite to eat. Definitely a must visit place while in town.

Nice little historic bakery on the island. They have vegan options too! I loved their vegan brownie and blueberry bar. For lunch we had a slice of pizza & noodle salad with a tasty peanut dressing. The lunches were cold since we went during closing time. It would be great if it were warm. We had ice cream for dessert. It was fresh and delicious 😋

The food was divine and my quiche plate was soooo moist. In fact, the most moist quiche I have ever had. So glad I spent 1/3 of my time here. Recommend 10/10. Don’t sleep on the pop tart, it literally melts in your mouth. Will be back this afternoon for lunch.

We stopped by here during out camping trip in Stehekin. I loved the atmosphere and the service! My friends tried their coffee and a brownie. I tried the mixed berry pie - it was pretty good! Not my favorite pie; it didn’t wow me. But, I think I’ll go back to try more of their offerings!

When we travel to Stehekin, we always go to the pastry shop. The food is delicious, and the cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls are huge! We love their sandwiches, too. The cookies are also amazing. This is a must stop when you are here.
