We did a tasting flight and ended up buying a case of the 5 year Big Buck Blended Whiskey, to take back home. It's so smooth for sipping and will make a great gift for our family and friends who will appreciate the perfect blend of bourbon, rye whiskey and wheat whiskey. Micro-distillery in Joseph, OR near the gorgeous Wallowa Lake!

Went into Stein Distillery on a quiet Sunday afternoon and got to taste many of the fine whiskey’s from Stein. Jon was fantastic and spent a lot of time explaining all the different whiskey’s and the process on how they are made. We learned so much! We really felt like family here. Can’t wait to come back!

My wife and friends where on a jeep trip last week to the Hells canyon area and stopped at the Stein distillery in Joesph Oregon, we met Kay while tasting and buying some of their great whiskey, Kay is a great person and appreciated her hospitality, thank you

I was on a road trip with a buddy, and we stopped in. John (the host) was a great guy, very knowledgeable. The Wheat Whiskey was new to me; really smooth and subtle. I like Rye, so tasted those as well. Bought a couple bottles and had fun talking cocktails, bitters and so on with John. Worth a stop and great product besides.

The assistant distiller, John was kind enough to give us a tour and explain the intricate process of distilling their alcohols! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Dan! They are definitely masters of their craft and have created the most welcoming tasting room. 10/10 would recommend this sweet little stop if you make your way to this little corner of Oregon!

John and his distillers make some great spirits. Jon will let you do a couple tastings of whiskey, rum, vodka, and cordials. I bet you will buy some spirits. We got the elderberry cordial and the five year straight bourbon which is One of the most popular options
