Steiner Studios

This is the largest studio in this area of ​​the city. Entrance is strictly by passes as at a secret facility. When you arrive there, you get the impression that you are in a small Hollywood with 36 studios for various projects and movie shows. Many good films have been made there. I think there are a lot of good films coming from this studio. The people there work very hard so that we can watch great movies at home. I was so inspired by your work that I bought myself a camera.

Big studio that makes movies. Sometimes they put up a wooden wall with a large green background and do some scenes right on site. They put large light sets that from my windows you can see the glow coming into my home. Being that I live close, other times you see large fire balls but it's funny with not much sound coming off from then. I take it they add those sound affect later on.

Best stages in NY! They even have a gym!

Steiner studios may very well be the best stages in New York they have plenty of room for the trucks and cars for parking the place is immaculate. I highly recommend Steiner studios 100%

First I want to make it clear that Steiner studios is a film and TV soundstage facility offering in one spot on the campus and catering facility and event hall.

Great place. Just an FYI, I had to take the B62 bus from Greenpoint Brooklyn today to Steiner Studios. Google Maps says to take the B62 bus 19 stops to Wythe Ave/Ross St. This is incorrect. It is Washington Ave/Park Ave. Then you walk about 2 blocks there. How can this be fixed on Google Maps?

Great customer of mine. I sell vintage items, mostly household items, easy to work with. I'm in the midwest & even with shipping my prices & selection is better than anything found locally.

I head to Steiner often for covid testing & fittings. Usually film at different locations around NY and away from the studio, but Steiner is the home base. Always hard to find street parking , but once inside things are pretty smooth. The check-in desk to get your wrist band is polite and mostly organized. Back ups do happen. If you need a restroom, the one in the front hall is well maintained. There is a stairway up to most fittings which you can come down to the first floor from the upper levels, but not the other way around. The lot is always bustling with people & props. There's good security and the property is consistently clean. When you make the drive, might as well walk over to the Navy Yard and grab a bite. Go to the side gait and buzz the guard to open the door. You can walk directly to the back of the brewery, pizza shop, deli or the other way towards the water to board the NYC ferry. You can also check out Il Porto for a slice and $4 beer, or the coffee shop on Washington. Both good.

It's amazing. Great place to work. It's large & spacious and top notch professional. I had a great time working there.

Gertrude Steiner loved these studios. I've been in acting and I've done the New York City thing and Steiner Studios is definitely one of the better places to work in New York City. It's also good place to see shows and hang out outside to try and pick up hipster bit-part actors.

This is probably one of the most technologically advance and largest film/tv production studios in the entire state of NY. Location wise it gives a really grand view of Manhattan along the river. If you have to ask which river, it is the one that you never want to swim in volunatarily. Yeah, that river. Location while having grand views, it is a bit of a walk from the MTA/subway station (G train). You do have to sign in before you even enter the lot for security purposes but the buildings are really clean on the inside and out. Whether you are here for work purposes or just visiting for a tour. Plan comfortable walking shoes for the journey. FAN.

Matt B. and I spent an evening at Studio 6 in Steiner Studios for Vanessa S. and Miranda F.'s wedding. It was a beautiful event, and the space was perfect. The venue is a little hard to get to, but I will admit that Matt and my experience wasn't typical. (Boring story alert.) Our cab got hit by a motorcycle within throwing distance of Studio 6, but because of the wall around the perimeter we had to walk all the way around to the entrance and all the way in. It took almost half an hour and I was wearing very new, very painful heels. Take a cab for sure, then make that cab escort you right to the door. But once we arrived, everything was pretty much perfect. The ceremony and afterparty took place on an outdoor deck with a panoramic city view, and the reception was just a floor down in a banquet hall with windows for walls. This was a rare venue in that the nighttime view was even more gorgeous than the daytime view. We ate and drank, danced and frolicked well into the AM hours. I don't know which vendors, if any, were attached to Steiner, but catering, entertainment, and all that were right on point. It was a great pleasure to watch two happy loving people get married, and Steiner was a splendid venue. Congratulations to Vanessa and Miranda, and thanks for including us in your big day!

I usually come here for fittings when I do acting gigs. Many productions in NYC use it for soundstage sand office space. Very easy to get to by bus from my house. Nice views of the city from top floor of 25 Washington.

This is by far the best studio complex in all of NYC. Some people might want to dock it a star for being hard to get to, but if you've ever worked in the other studios in town you'll quickly realize that it's worth the effort. As one of the newest studios, it is clean, spacious, and completely state of the art. Not only are the stages fantastic, but the bathrooms put other studios to shame. I know, they're just bathrooms so who cares, right? Wrong. Not only are there bathrooms for each individual stage, but the bathrooms themselves are clean and spacious enough to work well as changing areas, unlike studios like Kaufman Astoria or Silvercup. You'll fund yourself being happy to be working there just for the bathrooms. To address the inconvenience issue, yes it's remote. But there is a train reasonably nearby, and buses that are even closer, including one right outside the gate. Use the MTA's Trip Planner to find the fastest way to get you there. If you have a car, I suggest driving if possible. The studio is right off the BQE and has ample parking in it's own HUGE parking lot on the property. No need to find on street parking or a garage costing half your day's pay. After your first few times figuring it out, it will become a lot easier. No matter how you choose to get there, you will not be disappointed.

Our residency program booked this venue for the graduation party of our senior class. The venue is blessed with a fantastic balcony and a great view. That said, it was not the ideal place for any sort of party as the music had to be off by 11 PM making for a very short graduation party. I think it may work better for other purposes but definitely not a place to plan any sort of celebration.

If you ever have to unfortunately go to the "Love Life Production Office" which is located on the 3rd Floor on 25 Washington Avenue for any specific reason then please make sure to watch out for the person who specifically works right in the front of the office as soon as you walk in. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name but the best way to describe her is that she is of African American Descent and she wears braids and she works right in the front of the "Love Life Production" office as soon as you walk in. There's just no way that you can miss her because she will right on cue purposely and very rudely interrupt your private and civilized conversation that you are having with a "Love Life" staff member even if it has nothing to do with her and even if her fellow staff member is already taking care of the matter at hand. This particular individual spoke to me in such a belittling, demeaning, and condescending way that I just wished I didn't have to be there getting the help that I so desperately needed from her fellow staff members who actually were respectful and helpful towards me the whole entire time. I really wish that she could learn from her fellow staff members on how to have manners and speak to people in a professional and respectful manner. There's only ever been a very few times that I have actually had to step into that specific office because I have unfortunately had some very important questions/issues that I needed answers to and each time that I walked in I was spoken to in such a sarcastic and belittling manner by her that I just couldn't understand why I was being treated like this even though I was very respectful to the entire staff including her the whole time. I also really felt targeted by her the whole time that I was their even though I was specifically their strictly for business.

The closest bus is the B57. I would take A/C train to Jay street then switch to B57 bus heading towards Maspeth....

I contacted this place regarding a question I had, but they never got back to me and its been a couple of weeks.

I was walking by Steiner studios today and decided to inquire about employment. I couldn't find an information desk so I asked a guy with a Mohawk who was standing in front of the first building. He said they don't have one and I should check the website. As I was wwalking away and checking the website on my phone a security guard aproached me and asked if I needed help. I told him I was hoping to drop off my resume at human resources. He walked me over to another guard (an older indian man) who told me "leave or I'll call the police" I told him I am just asking a question. He said "what is your question" I said I just want to submit my resume. Another guard said I should call the main number. So I said"ok, thanks can I have the number? " the Indian guy said"everything is on the website get him out of here" Now I realize this guy was not hired for his customer service skills but can you imagine if I was thinking of having a wedding or photo shoot etc. there? I definitely wouldn't recommend it and I haven't even been inside. Not good for business
