Stella Artois Bar

Various delays had us coming back here, but Bartender David is the atmosphere. Super friendly, offered chargers, suggested other seats for vicinity to outlets, can bring food in, let us try samples of the seasonal beer. 10/10 spot to hang out during a flight delay. This is the better place to people watch in T7 at LAX by far.

Sometimes customer service comes out of nowhere. Had a quick layover here and a tall Stella sounded good. The Bartender (Steven) was outstanding. He overheard my wife whispering that he had a pink ribbon pin on his collar (she recently beat breast cancer). He came over to greet us and poured our drinks. Somehow he noticed my wife’s thumb was sore as she was messing with it. He brought out two bandaids and some antibiotic ointment. The hot pretzel was great. An elderly woman showed up outside the restaurant looking confused, he noticed instantly and went to ask her if she needed help. She was looking to have a glass of wine but wasn’t sure where to go since everyone was sitting at the bar. He escorted her to a table, walked across the isle to get her luggage so she didn’t have to, while his manager seamlessly covered the busy bar. The smile on her face and her holding her drink up to cheers us as we left was perfect. Would go out of my way to swing by here next time I have a layover in LAX.

David was our bartender. He was professional and friendly and gave excellent service despite having a full bar to attend. He allowed us to charge our phones and offered let us fill out the water bottles before the flight. If you have David as your server/bartender, you’re in good hands. Great guy 10/10

Steven is the best bartender at this airport. He is in terminal 8 in front of gate 85. Funny and very nice. You must come visit this man. I shall be back.

We just had like 45min before out flight departure & we made a stop here. David was a very kind and helpful person. He even offered us charging cable. We had a good time here.

Israel is the BEST server , great guy , very good bartender , so nice and respectful , attended to my needs and always had a good smile ! Made my trip 100x better !

We initially stopped by for a quick drink during a long 4 hour layover. However, we ended up spending the majority of our time at Stella bar with David. David is an amazing and personable bartender (with great music taste as well), who made us feel comfortable and well taken care of to the point that we felt no need to go anywhere else. If you’re at LAX, do yourself a favor and post up at Stella bar and spend some time with David.

Great little bar for a layover at LAX. Bartender (Steven) provides customer service better than it was before the 'vid. Dropped by to get an ice cold Stella and a hot pretzel with beer cheese and ended up with an experience. Go figure.

Guest reviewer: The Wife I recently had a many hour layover at LAX following a cross-country flight. The first order of business was getting some food into my stomach. I ordered the caprese sandwich, which came with a generous basket of still-warm potato chips. I forgot, as I was ordering, to request the sandwich without the pickled onions listed on the menu, but I was able to easily remove them. The sandwich was served on a nice ciabatta, with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, a balsamic reduction, and a pesto aioli. Despite the name of the restaurant, I did not order a beer to go with my sandwich, so I can't give feedback on their beverages. But I would imagine those fresh chips would be nice with a beer if one were so inclined.

Very isolated, must be very new airport bar restaurant at the farthest gate 81-88 for the United Airline in the LAX. The Los Angeles AirPort is now undergoing much needed renovations that will probably take another five years to complete, but the new terminal will not reach its full renovation down to this forgotten corner where there is not much promise of upgrading. The lonesome restaurant has few patrons and a lone bartender who is nice but barely able to serve the guests at the bar since the wait staff is never around. Only time that I got a service for my $16.25 overpriced Sam Adams Seasonal Draft Beer 20 oz. was when she was cleaning my neighbors table. I literally had to serve myself for some hot sauce for the meager vegetables with Hummus & Pita dish. I kinda like that the lone waitress doesn't come around every few minutes to check on my food and beer but Never Check Policy is little too neglectful in my poor opinion. I'm sorry for the three stars since I start with five stars for the most respectful establishment as long as they treat me like a decent customer and clean foods and environment, but slow service takes away one star, foods on the chair takes another star. I expected high price for the airport but damn $16.25 to $18.25 for a 20 oz. draft beer is little too much like Robbery with associated minimal service. Just for the sake of waiting for hours, I will slow down my guzzling and stay here for four hours until my flight.

Steven was great. Had a long flight and he was about as welcoming as humanly possible. In my experience, especially at airports, customer service can be lacking. Steven genuinely changed my outlook on this!
