An overall charming experience. This place is like going back in time. The only dining option is a fixed menu for €35 per person, whether you go at lunch or dinner.
The fixed menu removes any pressure for people who have a hard time choosing (like me 😅) or who suffer from FOMO. It varies a bit based on what fish they get that day, but we had: mixed seafood antipasti, fregula with chrevette, and as the last course sea bass and fried calamari. All this was accompanied by water, wine, bread, and some shots of mirto to cap it off.
All the seafood was super fresh. Any criticisms of the food were minor and very subjective: a bit more salt here, a bit less breading there. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who likes seafood.
The restaurant is a dark windowless room whose theme can best be described as “soccer and sea,” and which feels highly authentic compared to the newer more modern restaurants in Cagliari.
The owner and waiter were both very nice, with the owner coming to the table after each course to ask how everything was. How a restaurant should be!
Definitely reserve. We stopped by on a Saturday night to reserve for Monday lunch.
