We visited Stella's Table on a Wednesday evening and it had a decent crowd. We didn't need reservations but made them anyway. The chicken picatta and chicken reggiano were both delicious. They have a half off half liter of wine on Wednesday for Wine Wednesday as well. We also got to take home the remaining wine so we could finish it before bed!

Stella's Table is a gem! The food was incredible, with a ton of vegetarian options, including the best pasta I've eaten in Michigan. The service was top-notch—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The vibe is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Highly recommend!

Google
This is my second time coming to this amazing Italian restaurant! I took my mom here for a late Mother's Day gift & then brought my daughter here after a day of shopping! Each time, we were greeted with friendly smiles. The food is made fresh! You can taste & feel the difference when eating at this Italian restaurant vs any other! By far the best in Michigan. Their BBQ sauce is made fresh daily! Was the best we had & my kids are BBQ obsessed. I love the wide range of vegetarian options as well! I actually have a difficult time choosing; which is a good thing. It's a must stop in for any occasion!

Google
Our 1st time here. The food was amazing & delicious! The atmosphere was lively & lovely. We just kept ordering food because it was so yummy! I only gave service a 3 * because we had a new server but everyone else was great!

Google
Great experience. Made a 6:30 PM reservation for Friday night at 6:10 PM. We arrived a few minutes later and were greeted by a friendly host staff. We were promptly seated during a very busy time. Our server was great and very aware and attentive. Our food was out in very quick considering how busy they were. Food was delicious also! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
We are regular at this restaurant, food quality has been going down hill. Last night we ordered chicken Marsala which still has a flavor of raw alcohol. Ordered chicken pram came with pasta squad from the can. Cappuccino came with curdle cream. Price went up for such a bad cooked meal. This is it. Our last trip to this restaurant. We still miss roots. Sorry for Stella.

We really love this place, the atmosphere, warmth is there, and bar is great! Food is also really good! Happy hour menu is worth trying!

Yelp
We were determined to find a new place to eat last nights and picked a winner. Stella's Table was fabulous in every way. Our server, Nick, made an excellent first impression that continued throughout the meal. He took our food allergies seriously from the moment we mentioned it and even informed the manager, Reed, who came and spoke to us. Our drinks were fantastic and the food even better. Great ambience, great food and friendly service. We will definitely be back.

Morgan A.

Yelp
The restaurant was clean, staff was nice and service was in a timely matter. I never had salmon prepared with bruschetta but it worked and was very tasty. You can't go wrong with the fried ravioli. Cocktails were flowing smoothly. I will definitely be back.

Sherry D.

Yelp
Consistently good food great service nice selection of drinks and good. it's also nice to go for brunch and other people can still order lunch if they want.

Jessica W.

Yelp
we are really starting to like this place. you will be surprised at how cute it is inside because it is in a strip mall. people really like this place and i can see why, because it's a cute spot. really cute. and i can tell the chef loves to cook and the menu is important to them. the food is great. i am really liking the dishes each time. i look forward to going back to try some more.

Brad S.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place and loved all the dishes we received. The only thing that I would really want is a bread basket. Italian restaurant always give some sort of free bread. Not here. So I paid the $6 for my table hoping it was going to be bigger.

Stacey N.

Yelp
Great fresh Italian fare! Loved the arincini as appetizer. Great pasta and salad too. Highly recommend !

Lynn L.

Yelp
7/24- called ahead for reservation, but could not get one bc it was 3in away. Sat @ the bar for a drink, ended up staying for dinner. Staff was friendly. Food was delicious. Got a really nice breeze since the patio door was opened.

Yelp
Always a great experience and amazing food at Stella's. We visit a couple times per year. The chef's spiked egg nog at the holidays is worth the trip alone!

Yelp
Wow what an experience! We met friends here for Sunday morning brunch. From the time you walk in the door you are welcomed in and made to feel like family. To start our experience we ordered coffee. The beans are roasted specific for Stella's and ground fresh! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We tried the fried goat cheese with fresh strawberry preserves and also the the caprese appetizer. The presentation of fresh tomatoes, fresh bread and fresh pesto was beautiful. Don't skip this! Everyone at the table ordered something different. The banana bread French toast was decadent, the breakfast risotto was savory and creamy with the right amount of vegetables and pancetta. The breakfast burrito was huge with fresh sausage. You'll need a box to go! And the applewood eggs Benedict was on point. Our waitress was perfect! Our waters and coffee never went dry and she was full of personality. We will definitely go back and look forward to going there for dinner next! Brunch is only served on Sunday so make sure you secure a reservation and check them out. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
This is a very, very nice place. The food's been good and we really enjoyed it. I just feel that everything is a little bit overpriced.

Dalia A.

Yelp
I had a great experience at Stella's Table! The food, ambiance and service were outstanding!

Janey B.

Yelp
I have been dying to try this place since they opened. The stars Aligned on Sunday and Frieda and I went for a late lunch. The atmosphere was very nice, upscale casual. The staff were so friendly, open and attentive. Our server Jeff had great suggestions and was spot on with his advice. We split a Cesar salad and ordered the bread for the table. I agree with a previous review that bread should be complimentary. We than split a pasta dish Something Scotty. It had grilled chicken breast, farfalle pasta, spinach, artichoke hearts and mushrooms. Note: They were under the chicken. It came with an Asiago cheese sauce. It was delicious, but needed more color I.e. Red peppers or sundried tomatos. I mentioned it Jeff, he said it is supposed to be a "Green Dish". That was a new one on me. Overall, a wonderful, relaxing delicious adventure!

Douglas M.

Yelp
Great service but the food was just mediocre. I was really looking forward to the chicken parmigiana but the chicken was not tender and the sauce was like something you might expect from a local diner. The pasta was over cooked. We had the rice balls appetizer...nothing to write home about. This restaurant has great potential but they need to improve the quality of their food. I grew up on Italian cooking my mom's parents came over from Italy. That may not make me any kind of authority on Italian food but I'm sorry I would not go back to this restaurant. On a positive note my son enjoyed the pizza I love to support the local businesses, sadly I can not do that here. I hate to write a bad review about anybody but these folks can do better for sure. Buona giornata!

Taylor M.

Yelp
I've gotten Stella's a number of times now and they don't disappoint. The first time I tried their food was on my birthday during lockdown. I had the seafood pasta and even as a takeout dish, it was phenomenal. After getting to try out more of their menu since then, I've continued to be impressed. Despite all the culturally diverse food around, I feel like good Italian food is really lacking in the area. Stella's had filled that void for me. It's a great spot for date night. They have great cocktails and apps, service is warm and attentive, and I personally enjoy the atmosphere. It's a bit of a hike but it's always been worth the drive.

Jeffrey R.

Yelp
I really used to like this place. We went tonight at 7. Pretty crowded, maybe not enough staff? Waitress messed up my wife's drink order and then brought out the wrong salad for her entree. I always get the Sunday pasta for the meatballs and sausage combo One tiny bite of sausage. The waitress was too busy to complain about my order. Some other issues with our appetizer Really sad!

Stacy K.

Yelp
I enjoyed my meal at Stella's. We had not dined here since it was the Root and saw a new restaurant replaced it. I had heard some good things so we stopped by over the weekend. We started with the baguette stuffed with spinach and cheese with oil and balsamic. It was very tasty. I liked the pull apart bite sized pieces, but since there were only two of us, I helped myself to a larger slice, but the small portions are good for a family or larger party. I had the strawberry basil French 75. It was very basil forward, not as sweet as I would have thought, but pretty good. I also tried the season Sangria, which was cranberry, that was excellent. Not too citrusy or dry. I had the parm burger and parm fries with ranch. The ranch could have been thicker, it was a bit watery, but still good. I subbed the ciabatta roll for a brioche bun. The portions were a nice size. The turkey burger was also good and well cooked. We had the gelato sampler. That honestly for the price was way too small or portions, they could have had bigger scoops but it tasted nice with the biscotti. We also tried the tiramisu which was good. Then I had their dark chocolate mocha with a biscotti, that was really nice. Not too sweet but very chocolatey with some good cream on top. Now that we have been here I would gladly come back, especially with the kids, they also have not been to this spot in ages. I think they would order the Italian sodas and enjoy the food as well.

Yelp
Just wanted to add more photos of the delicious meals we've recently devoured at Stella's! This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants!

Jacqueline S.

Yelp
What a great dinner we had! Stellas was a little hard to find ... but it was dark and a new place for us. Once we got there, easy parking, no wait, lots of other diners. It felt festive here, clean, busy, happy. A birthday party was going full swing, a good time place. We were in a quiet corner, and it was a wine carafe 50% off special (certain house wines on Wednesdays). How convenient and perfect for our group of three. We started with wine and bruschetta - ahh, great happy hour. Then we each picked a different meal. Lots of choices:, we picked Sliders, Chicken Marsala, Steak sandwich. Our server was nice, welcoming and fast. We didn't realize we were hungry- glad to have more food appear quickly. We really enjoyed our experience and signed up for the the Stella's dining club and got $5 off this meal. Fun, great food, variety and great service-- of course we will be back!

Judi C.

Yelp
Great food, service was great and ambiance stylish & relaxing. Hosted 16 friends for happy hour and all went home Happy!

John F.

Yelp
Modern vibe on an Italian restaurant. Food has always been really good and service is polite and welcoming. Call ahead if you can as they are often pretty busy

Madelyne W.

Yelp
Been meaning to try this place for awhile, and I'm glad I finally was able to. The inside is cute and there's a small outdoor patio offering a stunning view of the parking lot. The service was exquisite, which is painfully rare. The food was amazing. We got the garlic and herb baguette, goat cheese fritters, mushroom ravioli, and the vineyard salad w salmon. The baguette was delicious, but a bit ridiculous and small. Truthfully, I find any place that charges for regular bread to be a bit ridiculous. 99% of restaurants offer a complimentary bread basket, and while their bread was good, it was not any different than the delicious and free varieties of other places. The goat cheese fritters were scrumptious, but again priced ridiculously. $14 for two small fritters, a handful of crackers, and a tablespoon of jam. The mushroom ravioli was delicious; the sauce was a highlight. The salmon on my salad was amazingly crispy. I ended up requesting a different dressing, the white vinaigrette, because the cider dressing was not to my taste. After switching that out, it was great. To finish off, we got the chef's dessert special: lemon blueberry cake. The cake itself was divine, but the frosting on top was too thick and the dusting of coffee or chocolate (or maybe it was both, I couldn't tell) on top didn't gel w the rest of the dessert. Overall, great food and service w some room for improvement. And maybe a bit of a reality check on the prices.

Tim B.

Yelp
The food and service were amazing. Upscale Italian food. We could make a meal from just the bread alone, well maybe with some cheese and wine.

David M.

Yelp
Upon entering its very clean with professional staff with great positive attitudes to work with the general public. To be in a service industry you must love the public and it showed in everyone we encountered. The menu was designed by executive chef Michael Olday. It's interesting and has his unique twist in it. I can tell he is using all high quality ingredients and care in purchasing ingredients. The spaghetti and meatballs are very good. The meatballs are homemade. Maybe a little more sauce and spice in the sauce. The baguette was garlic and Parmesan with olive oil and balsamic for dipping. It's $4 extra and that seems odd for a $16 spaghetti not to come with bread but it was absolutely incredible and one of the best breads I have ever had in quality and flavor. The Arancini superb and beautifully plated and served. With Parmesan risotto breaded and fried with a Pomodoro sauce it not only looked beautiful it tasted beautiful. This is a excellent restaurant and we will definitely come back and try different menu items.

Yelp
I've been trying to come and try Stella's for a long time. Jimmy did a great job with The Root (restaurant before hand) so thinking it would be somewhat similar with the chef inspiration - we'd have a good quick dinner. We ordered basic Jane food so we didn't try all the stops. We ordered grilled steak and "grilled" shrimp on the Caesar. Steak was cold and not seasoned at all, and we received these tiny baby shrimp that were just poached. These shrimp are considered the trash fish of the ocean, lol. No flavor. Was truly looking forward to grilled shrimp. Especially for $10? We DID in fact eat all of it we were starving and we don't like to send food back - just please live up to your menu description. When you order a salad or pasta over at Sal's in Bham you truly get beautiful grilled shrimp. The wedding soup was just so-so. My husbands pasta was bland, not much of any substance like was listed on the menu. Would've been great with more of the accouterments. Again, super under seasoned. My son's pasta was stirred so much it was like chopped up. It was a tiny bowl with 1 equally tiny meatball for $10. I wish I had purchased him an adult portion at that point. We had planned on ordering more as that was going to be our first round but we decided that was enough. I let the server know our feedback on the shrimp (not expecting it to be removed from the bill) and with a slight attitude she said that's the way they've done it since she's been there and that the shrimp would fall through the grill. I mean isn't that the reason why you'd purchase a good size shrimp. ‍ lol, crazy I know. Back on the hunt for good Italian.

Jerry M.

Yelp
Great food and service! A lot of options to choose from. Had a great Sunday brunch here.

Don I.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. The ambiance is nice. and inviting. A bit pricey but the food is excellent.

Jeremy H.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. My wife and I went tonight for a date night and our waiter (Kade) gave plenty of great recommendations and was very attentive. The arancini was great as always, and we ordered two side salads, the Vineyard and the Beet and Goat Cheese, which were the perfect size. We split the Seafood Pasta with the "blush sauce"--combo Alfredo and red sauce. To end we had the gelato sampler which was a perfect ending. Happy to call it our favorite restaurant!

Christina H.

Yelp
Went to Stella's Table for dinner with my husband last night. Overall we were happy with our choices. My husband got the Sunday Pasta and I ordered the Vineyard Salad. When I ordered my salad, I told our server that I didn't want any tomatoes because I hate tomatoes. She asked if we would like an appetizer and we said the bruschetta with oil, but I think she only heard bruschetta, which is bread with a mountain of tomatoes. When that came out another girl quickly served it to us. Normally, I would've talked to the waitress and cleared up the misunderstanding but she wasn't back at our table until after our entrees were served, so my husband ended up eating the appetizer while I watched. I think they need to work with staff on being more attentive. The people next to us had the same server and said similar comments about how she wasn't at the table much. The entrees came out wonderfully and my husband loved his pasta. The inside was very cute and clean. We may come back in a few months to try it again, since we only hear great things from friends in the area.

Randy L.

Yelp
Great italian place! Highly recommend! Never had a bad heal here. Great for brunches and dinners.

Jim O.

Yelp
10 stars for the food ! 1st time I ever had breakfast risotto- tasted excellent. Also shared very thin cut lemon pancakes- served with blueberry sauce. Great taste! 4 slices of good tasting toast. Ample portions. Lost 2 stars due to the check in girls. Had 11:30 reservation. Arrived on time, plenty of empty tables- no one else waiting. Understand when they said staff was playing catch-up- but instead of seating us- told to stand and wait for 10 minutes-odd . I asked if we could be seated- blank stare and said ok. Server we had was great -hustling. Asked a different girl for jelly- looked at me like I was an alien- didn't think they had any ?....$5 sign up promo wasn't honored. When leaving still had3 girls at check in- 1 reading a book other 2 fast at work on cell phones. Waste of $$$$$ for them!

Michelle K.

Yelp
Delicious and unique . They brought dough for my son to play with while we waited for our food! Which was hands down phenomenal.

Mary Anne S.

Yelp
Food was wonderful. Service was excellent. We were there on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. I split the goat cheese and beet salad and the chicken piccata. Dessert was the chocolate crème brûlée which was unlike any thing I've had before. We will be back!

Anna R.

Yelp
Waited at the bar for a table on the patio. Bartender Taylor was AMAZING. Finally got to our patio table, and waited 15 minutes for our server to never show. Was waiting for some good food but guess we'll never find out!

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Delicious Chicken piccata! Yummy cocktails! Friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Decent prices.

Michele W.

Yelp
Made a reservation for 930pm on their website. Walked in at 930 and was told they are closed, not accepting tables, and the online service must not have been turned off. By the way, the hours state the place closes at 10pm. :(

Heidi B.

Yelp
Excellent service, great food, and a fun ambiance. What more could you ask for? We live this place and Sunday Brunch is a family favorite.

Chloe P.

Yelp
Farmers hash was delicious!! Would definitely recommend and will be back for it. Stella's brunch cannot be beat. The lemon ricotta pancakes are also delicious!

Jake H.

Yelp
The food is phenomenal and atmosphere is great and the staff is very nice, great take on modern Italian food 10/10 would recommend.

Carole L.

Yelp
I recently moved to the area, and as I've been exploring, have seen Stella's Table a couple of times. Today I decided to stop and have a late lunch/early dinner. My waiterJeff was exceptional. He went over the menu and give me recommendations. I had the vineyard salad and the mushroom ravioli. Both were delicious. I also had a glass of cider sangria, which was really good as well. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to taking my husband when we fully move to White Lake.

Jeff S.

Yelp
Here's what we liked: a fantastic Negroni from the bar, Arancini, the garlic Parmesan bread, cannoli and espresso. Here where things could have been better: veal piccata with pasta. Veal was a bit thick and over cooked. Presentation was sloppy and almost comical. Overall restaurant ambiance continues to remind you that you're in a strip mall. Overall, and affordable meal with good service. However, the entrees lacked star power and while the overall experience was serviceable, it was somewhat forgettable at the same time. Recommendation to the kitchen - consider bolder pasta options with bigger flavors. Perhaps more advanced veal (or chicken) dishes like a saltimbocca. Maybe some anchovies in the caesar....

L M.

Yelp
Wanted to try this place for our anniversary. My husband called ahead to ask if reservations were necessary (it was a Saturday night) and was told no, they were not. Once we arrived the wait was 30 minutes, and at least four parties who had reservations were seated ahead of us, so lesson learned. There were also several empty tables so this was confusing as well. Our food was high quality and delicious all around. I had the seafood pasta, which was loaded with fresh clams, mussels, and shrimp, in a tasty red sauce. My husband enjoyed his pepperoni pizza. We ordered the baguette with olive oil, which was wonderful, but should have been complimentary in my opinion. I've never been to an Italian restaurant where it wasn't. Service was friendly and attentive. Ambience was somewhat upscale, which is why I was surprised by the number of babies and very small children on a Saturday night. Very loud and not what we were hoping for in an anniversary dinner. When my kids were that age it was Big Boy or coneys for us, but to each his own. Noise level not the restaurant's fault. 4 stars for the food and service!

Stacey S.

Yelp
Wow what a gem of a place. I stopped in and so damned glad I did! So far I've only tried a couple of thongs (happy hour pizza, soup, a few amazing drinks). Big taste. Big satisfaction. Big service. I'm a big fan!

Amanda W.

Yelp
Good luck getting a reservation for a large party. Their website says we take reservations for all size parties. I called a week in advance and wouldn't take a table for 10. They had the space but didn't want to take the large party unless I wanted to come 4 hours earlier.

Mr. S.

Yelp
Amazing big city site crammed into a tiny mall plaza window front storefront. Ambiance and pleasant environment. Good food, appetizers, entrees and liquor license

Chris N.

Yelp
The last time we came here it was named the Root restaurant so it's been awhile. We missed the good food so we thought we'd give the new Stella's Table a try. And we're very happy we did! The place is very similar to the old Root setup which is a good thing. Just a few pieces of deco changed but otherwise it's well laid out, roomy and welcoming as always. The new menu and food was delicious! We had the baguette appetizer and it was buttery, garlicky goodness. We followed up with the chicken Marsala, Cacciatore Risotto and the seafood pasta. All were fantastic especially the seafood pasta which had super fresh seafood ingredients. Well done! We ended the dinner with cannolis, hazelnut tort and the gelato sampler. All were also great. We recommend Stella's Table to anyone looking for well prepared and tasty Italian food!

Russ F.

Yelp
We came here on a Thursday night, There was a minimum crowd. Service was good overall although it tad slow. We found the food to be overpriced. No sides salad was offered. Portions were on the small side. I got the tenderloin it came cold and it was tough. We would not return to this restaurant due to its price and value. The ambience was OK if not somewhat sterile , but we would preferred to have booth seats.

Tony L.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I have visited Stella's a few times and have had a wonderful dining experience. Service is friendly and will be sure to make your time there fun. The food is great and appropriately priced. The only issue we've run across was the Creme Brûlée. The sugar topping was too thick . . . Other than that, a great dining experience.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
A friend and I met here for brunch and both of us were so impressed with our experience! We ordered a mimosa bar which was so fun and absolutely delicious!! Our waiter was quick to stop by and top off our glasses so we could enjoy all the mimosa flavors. We shared two entrees and agreed we couldn't pick a favorite. I will definitely be back soon!

Kerry R.

Yelp
Love the quaintness and the food is simply amazing and full of flavor. Love the local feel with a touch class so close to home. Kerry & Tom
