Stenton Pizza

This restaurant has one of the best buffalo chicken strombolis I’ve ever had—consistently flavorful and satisfying. The service is pleasant and reliable. While the lobby could benefit from being a bit more tidy, the overall experience is very good. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I just went in to talk to management personally. I had Covid and I depended on their food many days to eat. Each day it came freshly made, I had hearty salads, and carefully packaged wings. They did not mess up not one time! I appreciate the quality of food, cheesesteaks are great, I love the garlic parm wings and grilled chicken salads. Thank you for being good people who care what their food looks and taste like as they send it out into the world!

I work down the street. The cheesesteak ? Good, the chicken cheese steak delicious!!! Real chicken not that ground frozen patty stuff. 100% halal I don’t have to be scared if my boss orders pepperoni pizza 😂 nice staff family vibes all around

This my second review, my first review was when they just opened up, and by them being new then they had some kinks to work out but it seems like they may have got a handle on things. I ordered the chicken sausage pizza which was free and it was hot and ready in like 12 minutes and they give you 15 minutes so I was pleased, customer service was on point also!!!

Had the worst and most rude experience ordering from here and I won’t be ordering again. The manger got my order incorrect and then tried to make me prove that he made a mistake! Such a waste of money and time. Save yourself the hassle and order somewhere where customer service and professionalism is important to the staff.

Good food and very friendly staff!

Ordered food. The delivery driver called to tell me he is outside for me to go and see he is not there. I call driver with no answer. Driver called back to say he's outside again he's not there. I tell him to ring the doorbell do I don't keep going to the door for nothing. I call the store to complain and they tell me they are going to remake my good and send a new driver. They never sent anyone. Terrible service for a customer that's been going there for years. Would not recommend

I will never EVER order from Stenton Pizza again. It has been a while since I last ordered and now I remember why. My pizza was dry as the desert and the crust tasted so stale that my grands refused to eat it, and I had to order from somewhere else. The delivery driver was a courteous and customer service overall was ok. But the food quality was TRASH!!!!

I order from Stenton Pizza frequently. I'm usually satisfied with the food. Today I gave the man a hard time about it being to quick can't possibly be done so quickly. Well I have to say thank you for hot, tasty, and the man with the red car great customer service thanks!

Don't look like much on the outside and the inside is pretty worn and dingy. But I've ordered three pizzas so far from this place and every single last one has been finger-licking good. Order always takes longer than they say over the phone but other than that the food is bussing.

Most of the food I've ordered is pretty good and the service is friendly. I have not experienced a delivery from Stenton Pizza so I cannot offer my judgements. I've eaten the cheese steaks which are really good. They are juicy, meaty, cheesy and flavorful. The fries are crispy too. I've also had the grilled chicken Caesar wrap comprised of hot chicken, cooked lettuce, caesar dressing, and mozzarella cheese. The tortilla is grilled altogether. The pizza is not the best when I ordered a small one day. It was overly cheesy and more like bread dough than pizza crust. It is not five stars because the appearance can be improved as well as better prices-- they over charge for toppings in my opinion.

I recommend Stenton Pizza. I live close by and I usually order a cheese steak. Sometimes I order one of their salads. I haven't tried anything else yet. The cheese steaks are delicious.

horrible don't eat here I he inside is dirty they have mouses roaches and more running around the couches are dirty with dead roaches behind it they don't clean up and after you eat from there you will have food poison so do not eat there I warned you

I ordered a cheesesteak and it had a piece of plastic cooked into it and Bits of bacon from a previous order cooked into the cheese state they were very nonchalant about the mishap I would never order for them again that show too much lack of carelessness

I frequently order & have delivery from this restaurant pretty often. Usually I'd give this location five stars, for their food is usually fresh, still hot when delivered & my order is usually correct. The last three times I've ordered within the past couple of months hasn't been the case. Again, trying to support our local businesses due to COVID-19 it is getting harder to be supportive due to the lack of consideration to the consumer. I once ordered a cheesesteak w extra friend onions, mayo, ketchup & seeded pepper & mozzarella fries. The steak didn't have extra onions, no ketchup etc the fries was missing a lot of the cheese. Sooo I decided to try it again, I usually order a small pizza w/three toppings of whichI'm charged extra & not given the extra, a order of fresh wings (meaning not breaded) when I tell you the wings were so tiny my finger covered the entire wing. Clearly these wings were from a different vendor, but the crust of all was, they said my order would be there within 20-30 min . After 35 min I called to check on the order (I paid with my debit card & the money was taken from my account before I could hang up) the person says my other was out for delivery (this wasn't even during a rush). One hour & ten minutes later my food arrived cold. I ALWAYS TIP, when I asked what was the hold up, problem he involved his he doesn't understand English & shrugged his shoulders as though he could care less!!!! I'm tired of supporting these businesses that don't appreciate my monetary contributions!!! Whoever the past owners were (like last year) were very considerate & customer friendly. If something was wrong they tried to make it right. I'm just saying small businesses are concerned about losing business due to the pandemic. How bout stepping up your business. They have no problem raising the prices yet the quality is not matching that raise!!! I have no problem in paying for what I want or like, but I expect that business to do the same....respect the consumer!!!

had been ordering here for YEARS! The delivery guy went to the wrong house and my daughter said sir your at the wrong house this is the correct door. It was freezing cold and my daughter was in labor and couldn't walk but ordered for the other kids and I watched from the window because I had surgery on my foot. But this was odd because our delivery was ALWAYS DOOR TO DOOR. I then called to explain to the establishment and the young lady that answered assured me it was noted. Today we call to order because this WAS my favorite spot to order from and we were told by the phone person the managers banned us from ordering because we refused to pay. Which was the story the delivery guy gave and never happened(of course he wouldn't tell the whole story. Then stated they tried to redeliver and we wouldn't answer which didn't happens as well). So I called 3 times my daughter called once and I called twice the young lady placed us on hold and hung up on me twice. The manager never allowed me to speak with him. Although the food is DELICIOUS here and typically I would recommend them I will never ever ever ever recommend them to anyone. The customer service is absolutely terrible. For the store to punish us and didn't get a constant paying customer the time of day and to hang up numerous times. It is a businesses right to refuse service to whom they choose and that is ok but at least hear us out and communicate professionally. No matter how good the food is good customer service is important and they don't have that here

I teach in Philadelphia and celebrate the end of the year with my students with pizza pies from Stenton Pizza. They always give us great steamy hot pizza at a great price. They even throw in the napkins and paper plates at no extra cost. (I teach 125 kids, so that's an added bonus.) I love these guys.

The food here is AWESOME! Especially the stromboli, HOWEVER! After I ordered from here using my debit card and providing my information to the young lady on the phone my card was fraudulently used to order Jordan Retro Sneakers from and online company called East Bay. It took me a whole week to get my money back after filing a fraud report with the bank, I had to file a police report and put a fraud alert on my credit; this whole ordeal has been a complete NIGHTMARE!!! and although the food is great I will never order from them again. And if you do may I suggest you use CASH! unless you want to be like me and have your hard earned money stolen.

Grew up in Philly but now live in Texas (if you can believe it). Stumbled upon Stenton Pizza for a hoagie on Saturday 2/21 trying to get to the airport in snowstorm. I initially went to Pathmark Supermarket because they make hoagies to go (I'm told) but in the mix of the storm, I found they didn't have one hoagie ready to go. I think they make them all in the morning and that's it. Anyway with less than a hour to go before going to the airport, my search for a hoagie continued on Stenton ave from Cliveden to Washington Lane. Saw Stenton Pizza and thought that was the last resort. There were no patrons at the window but the staff was buzzing trying to fill delivery or take-out orders. I asked for an Italian hoagie and they got right on it. The price was less than Subway and there was no comparison in quality. When I got to the airport ready to eat my sandwich before boarding, I was pleasantly surprised that it brought me back to when hoagies were made in the 1970's during my HS years@ Central High. Full of meat Fresh chewy roll Fresh crisp vegetables and savory oil & vinegar and spices- the bomb diggetty!. Stenton Pizza is the place!!!!

Horrible service. The manager is very unprofessional. Service is awful. Bunch of teenage boys playing behind the wall.
