What happened to the chocolate sauce that we get to pour all over the Boston cream pie?! That was a real highlight. Please bring it back! Now, the balance of the review. We have been coming here for years, as I lived down the street for quite some time, and then, after we moved away, we come once a year so I can take my nanny out for lunch and a Boston cream pie. This has been a tradition for many years. The highlight, of course, is the Boston cream pie, and this is the first year that it has not been served with a side of chocolate sauce for us to dribble all over it. The server always used to bring out the chocolate sauce and then they would either drizzle it all over it or we would drizzle it all over it, but this time it came out and just seemed to be not nearly as special. The rest of the food is always fine. The service is good. They have a nice selection of seasonal sandwiches and meats and fishes and pastas and other dishes. Depending on the season, we have had salad, deviled eggs, sandwiches etc. But the highlight has always been the aforementioned Boston cream pie. Please look at the photos from 2024 and the photos from 2025. Compare the difference in joy and the difference in the pie itself when it has fresh chocolate poured all over it. Please please please bring back the fresh warm chocolate!

Wife, daughter and I was her on Saturday after dorm move in. It took 30 minutes for an outside table on a busy sunny day which was quite good. The lobster avocado toast and burrata salad were excellent and the service was good

My dad and I stopped in on the 4th of July. We put our names down for a 30 min wait but ended up being seated outside in less than 10. The people watching was great. Our server was amazing - haven’t that great of attention to detail in awhile! We got a couple of cocktails, calamari, tomato and burrata salad, pasta, and a Boston cream pie. Every thing had a lot of flavor and was delicious! Would definitely come back!

Google
Really good restaurant on Newberry Street. Service and atmosphere was incredible and it was pretty busy so it was great seeing that we were able to be taken care of in that manner. Food was good, just not spectacular. Caesar salad had slightly too much dressing but it didn’t ruin the salad. I would get it again.

Google
Overall it was a nice experience. There were not too many people in Stephanie's the day we visited, but the food might have taken a bit longer than expected to be served. I orderd a Tuna Tartare and a Ceasar salad, my friend ordered some fish and chips, the meal was fulfilling. The portion is good for the price, and the atmosphere is also cozy on a cold day. Great place for brunch.

Google
A Russian female server’s unfair seating assignment and dismissive attitude made my experience at this restaurant extremely upsetting today. Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and there were plenty of empty tables, she told me I could only choose between two specific tables — both uncomfortable spots without parasols. I politely asked, “Would it be possible to sit at one of the tables under the parasol instead?” Her response was a firm, “No.” What made this worse was that, right next to me, another solo customer was already seated under a parasol. I couldn’t understand why I was being restricted, and when I asked for an explanation, the server completely ignored my questions. I want to emphasize that the other staff members were kind and tried to assist me, but this specific server continued to treat me with complete disregard. From start to finish, I felt deeply disrespected and humiliated as a paying customer. Finally, I told her directly, “Your behavior is racist and discriminatory.” It was uncomfortable and stressful for me to say this, but I felt it was necessary so that no other customer would have to go through the same unfair treatment. The manager later came over to apologize, and I also received a direct apology from the server. However, this is not an issue that can be resolved with a simple apology. I strongly urge the management to provide proper training so that all customers are treated equally and respectfully, regardless of race or background.

Always a must for dining when in Boston. Nice menu offerings, great for brunch, superb Bloody Marys and other libations to suit your taste. Fresh and tasty dishes for any time of day dining. Indoor and outdoor dining too.

Google
First time here. We frequent Boston and have not been able to find a good breakfast place. This spot hit the mark. Very good blood mary. Huge portions and great tasting food.

Yelp
We went here a few weeks back meeting a friend who was visiting Boston. Reservations were easy enough. We've been here once before that was in summer and so had sat outside but this time in cooler weather so sat inside. The ambience is great inside and it's quite a large space. I got my usual go to dish - salmon, which I enjoyed. It had a nice crust and was flaky tender. Only thing I wish is if there was more sauce. The best part was this rice cake that was somewhat sweet and savory that came as a side that was so good! Hubs ordered the burger with bacon and he enjoyed it. Our friend ordered the rice bowl kind of like a bibimbap bowl which was topped with an egg. Overall a nice meal and service was good too!

Yelp
Good food, good drinks, and good service. There wasnt anything in particular that blew me away which is okay but it does make it hard to compete against other restaurants nearby on Newbury st. A few people in my group got the rice bowls and the presentation was great. I ordered the half chicken and thought it was just okay. The red sangria was very tasty! We ordered the brown butter cornbread for an appetizer, I was unsure at first but pleasantly surprised when I added the butter. Like I said, there wasn't anything necessarily wrong with this place but it wasn't memorable or tasty enough to make me go out of my way to return.

Yelp
My wife's friends were visiting from Florida and wanted to try Stephanie's on Newbury for breakfast on Saturday, November 1st. Since I'm not familiar with Boston, I called the night before to ask about parking. The young lady who answered the phone was exceptionally friendly and helpful -- she gave me several detailed parking options and couldn't have been nicer about it. I even apologized a few times for asking so many questions, and she said, "Please, no need to apologize! My job is to make sure you have a great experience, and we look forward to seeing you." That level of care and enthusiasm immediately impressed me. When we arrived the next morning, we were greeted by the hostess, who was just as warm and welcoming. Since the restaurant had just opened for the day, we chatted a bit while waiting to be seated. I asked what she liked on the menu, and she enthusiastically listed a few of her favorite dishes. I could tell she really knew the menu inside and out -- her energy and passion set a great tone before we even sat down. Once seated, we were greeted by our server, Mark, who was both extremely professional and genuinely upbeat. The breakfast menu at Stephanie's is full of tempting options, and I'll admit, I had a hard time deciding what to order. Mark kindly shared some of his personal favorites and gave thoughtful recommendations. Based on his suggestions, I went with the Huevos Rancheros and also decided to try the Stephi's Loaded Home Fries after hearing him talk them up. The food was absolutely outstanding. The Huevos Rancheros were bursting with flavor -- perfectly cooked eggs, a hearty and flavorful bean base, and a zesty sauce that tied it all together. The Stephi's Loaded Home Fries were easily some of the best I've ever had -- crispy on the outside, tender inside, and loaded with all the right toppings. My table also ordered the stack of pancakes, breakfast skillet, sausage, and a slice of Boston Cream Pie -- and everyone agreed each dish was over the top good. The pancakes were fluffy and golden, the skillet was hearty and well-balanced, and the sausage had that perfect snap and flavor. The Boston Cream Pie was a showstopper -- rich, creamy, and the perfect way to end such a fantastic breakfast. Throughout the meal, Mark was extremely attentive. Even while juggling several tables, he never missed a beat -- keeping our coffees and drinks refilled, checking in at just the right moments, and maintaining his upbeat, professional attitude. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does, and that energy made the entire experience even better. All in all, this was a fantastic breakfast experience from start to finish. Even though we live over an hour away, we're already planning to come back -- not only because of the incredible food, but because of the unbelievable customer-focused staff like Mark and the wonderful hostess (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch). I highly recommend Stephanie's on Newbury to anyone looking for a fabulous dining experience in Boston. It's rare these days to find a restaurant where every single team member genuinely cares about making your visit special -- but at Stephanie's, that's exactly what you'll get.

Yelp
This place is on point. We sat outside but the inside is was also excellent. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. It was a bit chilly outside, but we loved it. Our server was happy, attentive and never missed a beat. All four of us LOVED the food. I ordered a hash and egg skillet that I wish would never end. I'm sure we would have enjoyed sitting inside but their patio seating makes for a very fun atmosphere. I encourage you to check it out.

Yelp
Nice patio seating on Newbury St. they were busy on a Friday when I came here and luckily we didn't need a reservation. The mezze plate was awesome, including the falafel, pita, olives, hummus and more. I got the summer rice bowl for my meal and it was good, but it should've been advertised as a bibimbop bowl, because that's what it was.
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
It was a regular schmegular restaurant. Pretty good food, but salty from what I remember. the service was nice but not very quick, but that could have changed depending on any given day. I believe we only went because it was the only place that could seat us on a saturday for brunch without any reservations so we were just happy they took us! inside was big and clean and modern enough as well!
google avatar

Ally B.

Yelp
From the moment we inquired about seating, we were greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism. The transition from the host to our server, Carlos, was seamless -- he had a wonderful personality and great sense of humor, making the entire meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. He was attentive without ever rushing us, which really added to the comfort of the experience. I ordered the salmon paired with a berry mocktail, and both were excellent. The salmon was cooked perfectly and served over a fresh salad -- the portion size was just right and very satisfying. My guest ordered the fish and chips, and he was impressed by how light and crisp the batter was -- flavorful without being overdone, which is rare and appreciated. There's a wide variety of menu options, so there's always something new to try, making me look forward to returning. The indoor and outdoor seating areas are both spacious and thoughtfully arranged, offering plenty of room to move around. Overall, Stephanie's on Newbury delivers a warm and welcoming. From the friendly service to the fresh, delicious food and comfortable layout, it's a place I'd happily return to again and again.

Yelp
INCREDIBLE! The Stephi Burger is mouth watering and is easily big enough to split with someone. The sauce and crispy fried onion strings really add a nice touch on top. The fries were perfectly crispy and I ordered a side of their truffle sauce, too! Absolutely divine! I enjoyed sitting outside on the patio with the exception of being swarmed by bees. My server Ozzi was amazing and made sure I was so well taken care of. Stephanie's is definitely a must visit when in Boston!

Yelp
I cant speak to the food as we just stopped in for drinks but our Bloody's were great! It was a quiet Wednesday so it was not too busy but service was great and ambiance was perfectly casual for an easy lunch or drink. I would definitely return and try the food next time I am in town!

Yelp
We stopped in to rest and get warm intending only to have a coffee but the place was so pretty and the menu so interesting that we ended up eating. My open face everything sandwich was an interesting pile of veggies on a toast with a lemon vinaigrette. It was superb. And even though I was still full from breakfast I ate it all. It was that good. The clam chowder was very good And the brownie sundae was huge and delicious. The service was good but a bit spotty. I highly recommend that you try that delightful veggie sandwich.

Yelp
Lovely spot for brunch! We made a reservation the night before and we were seated right away. On street parking and the entrance and gender neutral restrooms are accessible. Linda was our server and she was quick to get our coffee, tea and bloody Mary's. I did not have one but I appreciated the checklist & pencil to ensure each Bloody Mary was perfectly made to order. The brunch menu was unique and everything sounded good to me. We shared the monkey bread appetizer. It was warm, crispy, gooey, sweet and delicious! Hubby had the skillet breakfast but his eggs were not over easy and the biscuit lacked flavor (he said it was not worth eating). My huevos rancheros were perfect - two corn tortillas topped with pork carnitas, scrambled eggs, etc. I would have liked more avocado, but it was the perfect size meal for me - I was not stuffed. The coffee was good and strong and I did have to flag Linda down to get a second cup. We had a relaxing meal, were not rushed, and we would definitely stop back when in the area!

Yelp
I had a dinner at Stephanie's on Newbury when I was in Boston for a conference last week. Our conference organizer had arranged for our dinner there, so it was a set menu offered in a private area of the restaurant (upstairs in the back). The restaurant's decor feels a little dated perhaps, but it was comfortable and casual inside. They brought us drinks and their brown butter cornbread (with maple butter to start). Then we had a choice of three appetizers (chowder, calamari, and something else I can't remember). The group I was eating broke evenly between the chowder and the calamari. I got the calamari, which was quite good. Then for our entree, there was a choice between three dishes: a beef, a chicken, and a vegetarian dish. I got the chili Baharat half chicken (served with preserved lemon chermoula and celeriac remoulade, according to the menu). Maybe I didn't get the dish as it's usually prepared, because I found it to a dry, lonely plate for the chicken. The chicken was well browned, but perhaps a tad overcooked, and therefore dry, but there was almost nothing else on my plate. I had a pile of a slaw-like side, which was bland, and there was no sauce. (Is it possible that remoulade means something very different to them than to me and that the slaw pile was a celeriac remoulade?) I got a bit of the preserved lemon but tasted no baharat at all. Overall, the dish was just dry and bland. Maybe just a chicken leg over some Israeli couscous and sauce? But the dish felt incomplete to me, and I wasn't a big fan of it. We had Boston cream pie for dessert, which was good (and also made me realize I'm not really sure what Boston cream pie is). The service was good - we were a larger group, and they were really friendly and took great care of us. Our set meal at Stephanie's certainly wasn't bad, but I wasn't a big fan of my entree, and I'm not sure I'd return to Stephanie's when I'm next in Boston based on this first experience. But - again - certainly not a bad meal if you're looking for a restaurant in the area what has quite a varied menu (maybe something for everyone?).

Yelp
Came back after many years away and still a first rate experience. Also, different hostess so had a terrific time. Will definitely return!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. Good staff. Food looked good, but seemed a bit too bland. Some more seasonings could have punched it up.
google avatar

Srinithi R.

Yelp
I came here for lunch and was blown away. I really enjoyed the Mezze Plate which has an assortment of hummus, tzatziki, olives and pita bread. The portion was large and super filling. The ambiance was super cozy with an upscale vibe. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back again.

Yelp
Went with friends and had a great experience. The place gets crowded at Brunch so highly recommend recommendations. Service was good and wait staff were attentive. Portion sizes were large and none of us finished our meals. Great place for brunch.

Miguel C.

Yelp
Solid 4 stars! Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon on a stroll through Newberry Street. We tried to get an outside table, but there was a 10 to 15 minute wait. Odd since there were many empty tables, but maybe they were understaffed. Sat inside at the bar and it was excellent service I can't speak for the rest of the food, but the Calamari and Mac and Cheese were delicious . Got a draft Sam Adams Oktoberfest, which was icy cold and just perfect.

Matty B.

Yelp
Hadn't been in ages. Took the family. Server was great, tho he did completely forget my glass of wine - at least he didn't charge me for it. The best part of the meal was the maple brown butter that came with the cornbread; basically sweet frosting. Wife's steak tips were average at best, not much flavor. Daughter's fish and chips was almost burnt on the outside. Only about 3/4's was edible. My lamb shank was pretty good - super tender - but the "spiced" squash puree was only "spiced" with (brown?) sugar, too sweet. And the fried brussel sprouts were bunt on the outside. Waiter got a new batch, this time they were nicely charred on the outside, raw on the inside. Their fryer is obviously set way too high; hence the dark dark brown fish coating and the burnt/raw brussels. Boston cream pie had nice chocolate coating, but very limited filling. This place used to be great, now clearly a burn and churn, maximizing revenue, limited quality. Too bad.
google avatar

Yerina K.

Yelp
The truffle fries! Are! So! Yummy! The stephs sandwich was also really good and is worth the price in my opinion. I would definitely recommend the truffle fries (perfect crunch). We went around 12pm and it wasn't too packed, but usually there is a good amount of people there. Our waitress was friendly and I like the vibes of the place for brunch.
google avatar

Sarah F.

Yelp
I will start by noting that this place had no wait, lovely AC or outdoor seating, and yummy food. These are all great reasons to stop by and the location is fabulous if you're on Newbury or in the Back Bay area. The only qualms I have is that the food is rather expensive and I asked for the bolognese without dairy but it's premade. I guess just keep in mind that substitutions/removals might be more difficult here? And one small thing is that it's one of those places with the tiny cups of water but no pitcher at the table so I had to ask for a refill 3-4 times. Overall, good food and convenient stop!
google avatar

Brooke C.

Yelp
I went here for the hot chocolate flight and it did not disappoint! I arrived around noon on a Saturday and was able to walk right in and find 3 seats together at the bar. The hot coco flight was only $14 I believe and it was both beautiful and delicious! I loved the presentation. Service was very quick as well. No complaints!
google avatar

Vance Alexander D.

Yelp
Having lunch and sitting outside was very nice on a beautiful day! Street parking was very tough to get and it's very busy on weekends. Staff are very friendly and provide fast services.

Cate J.

Yelp
We got the pancakes and chicken salad--both of which we loved. The pancakes were light and fluffy, served with syrup and cinnamon butter. The chicken salad was hearty, made with big chunks of chicken and light on the mayo which I prefer. The toast for the chicken salad was delicious and grainy while the greens were crisp. All around, the food was fresh, creative, and served in extra large portions. The outdoor seating was lovely, especially for a sunny Sunday. Only complaint would be the slow service (we were never given water and had to ask twice), but given it was a busy day it is understandable! I would definitely come back and try more of the menu, all of the food looked amazing.
google avatar

Jake D.

Yelp
Had a FANTASTIC MEAL! Marcus was great. I got a burger and it was absolutely scrumptious, couldn't have been happier! Definitely want to return the next time we are in this city called Boston. WOW!
google avatar

Dallas E.

Yelp
Not Celiac friendly at all. My wife had the only thing recommended by our waiter, which was the Chicken Salad sandwich on GF toast. It was a huge portion, but nothing we would go back for. I had the basic ham Benedict, and it was also fine, but not something I would go back for. We walked by several times around lunch time, over the 4 days we were in town, and it always seems super busy, but i'm just not really sure why.
google avatar

Ilene S.

Yelp
Stopped on for a late dinner. The tuna tartar was a good size with an amazing wasabi sauce on the side. The burger was juicy with a large portion of French fries. The steak tips had a good flavor. Service was good but the bar response was slow.
google avatar

Felicia M.

Yelp
If you are looking for a traditional weekend brunch look no further than Stephanie's on Newbury. You come for the famous bloody Mary's disappointing this time was no shrimp topping. Food is good. I would not say outstanding, it's your basic breakfast fare. They do offer gf options
google avatar

Dipali G.

Yelp
I loved everything about Stephanie's from the food to the ambience to the service! Incredible all the way Food: we ordered the cheesy corn bread for the table which was delicious. It came with maple butter which was absolutely delectable. For my main I ordered the mac and cheese lobster which was also amazing! Very heavy! I recommend splitting this with someone next time you are here. The lobster tasted so good Service: amazing and really kind waitress! She even helped split our checks down to dividing the price of shared items like the cheesy corn bread Ambience: this is right on Newbury with a beautiful view. Inside is big with loads of space Price: fair prices given quality and portion sizes!

Yelp
This is a review for the 2025 Thanksgiving Dinner. The dinner was available as a full meal or a la carte. We opted for a la carte, with a full brined organic bird, mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravey. The Turkey was beautifully cooked and presented with various herbs and aromatics for reheating. When plated the turkey was moist and the sides were solid stand ins for home cooked favorites. We got multiple meals and everything reheated nicely each time. We used the bones for turkey stock. Great value and highly recommended.
google avatar

Becky T.

Yelp
Me and my husband shared with smoked fish breakfast. Everything was excellent. Servers in and around bar area were very friendly and accommodating.
google avatar

Miley W.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here after getting off of a flight because we were hungry and it was convenient. Service was slow, but our server was nice. We got monkey bread and the breakfast skillet. The monkey bread was good, the breakfast skillet was odd. The eggs kind of tasted like toilet water, the potatoes were hot but undercooked on the inside, and the sausage and bacon were cold. It was nice inside, but for the price was a little disappointed.
google avatar

Krista C.

Yelp
SPEEDDY service. Got our food within 5 minutes of ordering. The kitchen is so on top of everything the salad was epic and chowder was delicious. Their bloody Mary's seem unreal and I will def be trying one topped w a mini burger next time I go! They also have ample seating inside and outside that is tastefully arranged with casual elegant decor.
google avatar

Bisma A.

Yelp
I visited Stephanie's on Newbury for the first time to try out their weekend brunch! It's definitely a super popular and busy spot. We came in a large group and our waitress was super accommodating and friendly! Service was really good for such a busy restaurant. Although the restaurant had a fun and lively atmosphere, some of the brunch options weren't my favorite. I got the lobster Benedict and even though it had a decent amount of lobster, it was pretty dry. We also got the mezze platter to share but a lot of the options tasted super salty. The best part of the meal hands down was the pecan roll, it's definitely a must have!
google avatar

Amaziah A.

Yelp
The Rigatoni was delicious. I forgot our servers name but the customer service was very good. Ordered a tequila mule and it was made well. For price, atmosphere, and service its pretty good
google avatar

Sharon S.

Yelp
Service was good, however, evening was marred by a dead bug in my colleagues Lobster Mac and Cheese. Waitress and manager offered to replace the meal but my colleague was too grossed out to eat anything the rest of the evening. That being said, everyone else's meal was ok. I had to ask server and manager to do more than just comp my colleagues drink. So they ended up taking off another meal off of our bill.
google avatar

Yelp
Not sure why they are packed, but certainly not the worst in the area. We stopped in for brunch on a cold Saturday afternoon. The place was jammed pack. The host was cold, no welcome and could care less with no eye contact. Never a good start. The restaurant is cavernous and we were escorted away to a rear upper dining room, which was fine, but not as nice as the main dining room. This room also quickly filled up. Our waiter seemed nice enough and I ordered one of their "famous" bloody mary's, where you build what you would like. It was good, but honestly nothing special. As it was a brunch menu there was a mix of sweets, breakfast fare and savory items. I'm a sucker for monkey bread and was delighted to see it on the menu. It was only a few minutes after placing the order that the dish arrived. Sadly, it was room temperature and unfortunately the center was raw. We picked around the outside but the inner portion was inedible. Further, our waiter did not check back at us until our main was dropped at the table. I told him the monkey bread could have used some more time in the oven and had an undercooked center, and he asked what he could do. We did not want, nor could eat another. The dish was NOT removed from our check which I think would have been an appropriate gesture. Service was lackluster and I think our server was afraid to checkin on us any further. When servers know the food may not be great, they tend to not checkin. The breakfast burger we ordered was unremarkable. It was my wife's birthday which I had noted in the reservation and there was no acknowledgement from the host, or waiter. I suppose it is just not that kind of place. Essentially diner fare, at a premium price. There are much better choices in Back Bay and I don't think we would return here and I can't recommend.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
We accidentally made our reservation for the wrong day, but the host was able to get us a table anyways! We ordered the mezze platter to share which had a variety of dips to enjoy with warm pita bread. Our server was kind enough to let us know that we could order extra pita bread if we needed. I ordered the turkey club for myself which was so big I could barely finish half of it! I would highly recommend Stephanie's on Newbury for a yummy meal on one of Boston's most famous streets!
google avatar

Danan R.

Yelp
Still a solid option for a group meal on Newbury with something for everyone. Be sure to try the lobster salad which is just a small add on to any of the salads. Portions are generous and the fare is good.

Gaylien Q.

Yelp
We arrived when they opened, so had no problem getting a table on a Friday. There many other guests there yet the noise level was quite doable. The food was excellent. I had their chopped salad. Everything was cut uniform-ally, tasted very good, and the salad dressing was just enough. I loved everything about our visit. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
What a treat! Had brunch here today with my cousin who has been visiting Boston. I've been wanting to come here and finally had the chance! Both of us got the butternut squash soup and split a turkey club. The butternut squash was pure divinity. We did our best to eat every ounce , scraping the bowl until we couldn't anymore. The pumpkin seeds were a nice touch. The cream in the middle really popped out the flavors of the soup. We couldn't get enough. The turkey club was great! The bread was perfectly grilled. The bacon was wonderfully crispy. The avocado blended nicely into the sandwich. It was the perfect complement to the soup! I also got an appletini- it was delicious! My cousin enjoyed her dry martini. I ended my meal with two cups of tea. Service was fantastic. It's such a cute restaurant- lots of seating. It's usually packed and now I truly know why. Will be back for sure to try more of their menu! Happy end of 2023.

Yelp
Good, not great... and pricy. Service at the bar (during brunch, thin crowd) was soft and too inattentive (like, twice asking for more water). The Cinnamon Monkey Bread was yum for an app. The mocktails were good, but $10 for mixed fruit juice is nuts (I realized I could have ordered a glass of the two juices for $4 a piece). The salmon flat bread was good, not great. Flat bread a bit doughy. It's like the dish didn't know what it wanted to be. The skillet was heavy on the breakfast taters covered in cheese... eggs over easy were medium. The biscuit, though, wow! The size of a horse saddle it was. So, again, good but not great.

Yelp
Newbury Street is adorable! This quaint area is perfectly tucked in the Back Bay area of Boston with tons of restaurants and shops! We were originally going to eat across the street for dinner but didn't want to wait 30-45 minutes (an average wait time for dinner on a Friday in the area). After strolling over to Stephanies on Newbury, we were promptly seated with the option of indoor or outdoor seating. Waitstaff were friendly, professional, and made a mean drink! Stephanies is known for serving sophisticated comfort food, and that's exactly what you get. The menu is filled with American classics with a local twist. We had 2 entrees- the Stephi Burger and Skirt Steak Frites. The burger was decadent! 10oz of goodness topped with cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, onion strings, and spicy mayo mmmhmmm that's the good stuff! The steak was delicious too... but not as good coming back up. Piled high on truffle fries and drenched in chimichurri sauce caused for an oily mess both on the plate and in my stomach. A very tough go around :/ Overall, the ambiance, service and drinks were great but not sure I'll be stopping here again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yelp
Stop in for lunch was able to get outside seating which is great people watching. I had the traditional club sandwich and my wife had the open face chicken sandwich which the waitress recommended. Waitress was very attentive and service was quick.

Yelp
I was here on July 4th and I ordered the turkey sandwich. My friend had finished her food but I was still eating my fries. The waitress came over and cleared my friends plate and then came back and lifted my plate while I was still eating the fries (I was literally still chewing!!). The food was nice, I had been another for brunch and really enjoyed the pancakes but after that service I don't think I will be back anytime soon.

Yelp
Can you ever go wrong with truffle fries? We also highly recommend the Greek appetizer platter. (Hummus, babaganoush, falafel) The bruschetta grilled cheese was just okay, it was just a little to much. Definitely a nice stop to sit on the patio and have a quick lunch or a drink with friends.

Yelp
I've eaten there several times and love the food and service. However, this time it just felt scammy. The rice bowl was priced at $15 ~ but then below it, it specified the proteins: $15 salmon, $17 steak , etc. We didn't realize it was a $32 bowl. Left kind of a bitter taste/ felt like a scam considering the salmon was tiny. Would come back but not for that bowl. Shouldn't have been a $100 meal you know :/ just sus.
