hands down one of the best in town. from the delicious soup with the liver knödel, the perfectly cooked sweetbreads, the tongue that was succulent and well seasoned, to one of the best wiener schnitzels in the city.
there not a thing amiss in the several dishes we tried. the service was spot on with the chef suggesting the sequence of dishes, portioning single dishes to be shared between the two of us, and for the overall friendliness of the place.
in terms of the ambience, it is quaint and rustic but adds a charm to the experience. being not located in downtown, one must make an effort and have a reservation when visiting this restaurant, but it is absolutely 100% worth it.
